The Direction the Writers Took It In

"We break up?! That's fucking bullshit! There's no way I'm doing that!" Vi threw the script on the desk, the underlined parts seemingly mocking her.

"You know it's just temporary right? And that you and I aren't actually breaking up. We're actors, Vi, we have to make it believable." Caitlyn was always happy to rehears scenes with Vi and unlike her she did read all the scrips in advance. She liked to know where her character was going so she could deliver a good performance.

Vi on the other hand read it as they filmed each scene, learned on the go. So yes, she was a little upset that she has to act out a breakup with her girlfriend. Her and Caitlyn only met when they were filming the first season and like the characters they played they had instant chemistry. They've been together ever since.

And much like the fans they too were big fans of the romance between their characters. Reading this scene was soul-crushing. Vi crossed her arms and leaned against her end of the couch, a pout on her face.

"I'm gonna write a complaint to the writers. A break up after a kiss is cruel, just cruel. They could have at least given us a tasteful sex scene first."

"Wouldn't that have made it worse? And are you looking for an excuse to have me naked, because I'm pretty sure you get to see that almost every night. This is just a short break up scene. Do this for me and you can have sex with me for real." Caitlyn made her an offer she knew Vi wouldn't refuse.

"It's not about me, Cupcake. Think of the fans! They'll be heartbroken!" Vi yelled dramatically and pretended to clench her chest. "They've waited years for this."

The fame they got from this show launched their careers as actors. Before this Vi had a small career in MMA and Caitlyn worked in private security. Now they were famous actors and living together. One show changed their whole lives. Of course they were both invested in it, and the roles they played.

"Keep telling yourself it's only that. If you see me nude on set you're gonna glare at everyone. You're no better than Mel when it comes to that and she scared everyone when her and Jayce had to do that scene in the first season." That was also the day Caitlyn learned how her long time best friend was really camera shy when it came to romantic scenes. Which was funny because he was acting them out with his wife. "There's also a chance you could get carried away. May I remind you I had to pull you back when were filming that kiss scene?"

"No need, I still remember. If they told us it'd be the same episode I would've kissed you harder."

"Which you would know if you read the scrips in advance." Caitlyn picked up the scrip and scanned the lines Vi had highlighted and the notes she made for herself. Extra tongue. Right there where the kiss scene was. "Very deep actors insight."

"I'm a simple girl, Cupcake, not everyone needs to do a full page breakdown of every interaction and scene their character is in." Vi smiled as she took her copy back. "But I gotta say I do look forward to seeing you wearing that cape. Looks so fucking hot I just wanna fuck you while you wear it."

Caitlyn raised an eyebrow, "Don't you mean take it off me?"

"No. I'd take everything else off. Cape stays on." She looked completely serious while saying it. Their sex life was something Vi never took for granted.

"Well safe to say you unlocked a new turn on. If it would help you get through the break up scene I could wear the cape next time we have sex." Caitlyn purred, knowing just how to sweeten the pot.

"Really?! You'd do that for me?!"

"Darling, I'd do anything for you." Even wear a cape during sex which won't be the weirdest thing they've done id Caitlyn was completely honest with herself. "How about we rehears the lines for tonight and get a good nights sleep for the scene tomorrow. Assuming it goes well I don't see either of us getting much sleep after that."

"Yes ma'am, what ever you say." Hook. Line. And sinker.
