Naruto and Sakura watched the fight between the two kunoichi as Kamerin used her trident to keep the other at a distance.
"A trident is only good at close-range attacks as you need to have the tips of the trident to dig into the body of your opponent," Tenten said from where she stood and watched.
But soon, Kamerin started to win the right as she stabbed the tip of her trident into the ground and brought it up in a slashing motion, sending out an arc of water that would have cut into Shizuka, but she moved out of the way.
Unexpectedly, a water clone of Shizuka appeared, her fist poised for a powerful blow. With a swift punch to the gut, she sent Kamerin crashing to the ground.
Battlefield
Shizuka got up off the ground and looked over to the trident user as she started to send a barrage of kunai at her, "Nadeshiko-Ryū Shinku Enbu," Shirzka called out as the kunai began to fly towards Kamerin with deadly accuracy.
"Alright then, if I can get past her that way, I'm going to try that," Kamirin said in her head as she formed a turtle shell on her back and started rolling around until she was going around the stadium wall.
After each loop, she would start picking up speed and leave behind barnacles over the wall.
Once there was a ring of barnacles, the ball that went by Kamerin jumped off the wall, uncurled, and formed a hand seal.
"Suiton: Fujitsubonamidan," She called out as each of the barnacles started to release small water bullets at Shizuka, who tried to move out of the bullets, but the barnacles seemed to track her movement.
Kamerin landed on the ground and started to roll around once more as Shizuka jumped around, trying to dodge the ball and the water bullets.
But she then mistimed jumped, and a passing Kamerin hit her before getting sent into a barrage of water bullets as the rolling girl jumped into the air.
The shell vanished, but her fist changed to the same fist as the Sanbi before she punched Shizuka with all her might, sending Shizuka into the ground once more.
World of the Gods, United States of America, Alaska, Tongass National Forest, Camp of the Hunters of Artemis
Artemis sat on a log with some stew as she watched the finals with her hunters also watching.
All the hunters wore clothes matching Artemis, including a silver parka, silver camo pants, and hunting boots.
"They are doing well Lady Artemis," One of the hunters said as Artemis nodded.
"They are; but I can't help but think I know here," Artemis said as she pointed at Kamerin.
"Is this when you were in a mortal shell?" another hunter asked. She had black hair and a silver circlet on her head.
"Yes, Zoë," the goddess said as they watched Shizuka recover but was breathing hard. "She had better call the match; she will not be able to recover from that. It was a Chakra Enhanced Strength-infused punch, and she turned her fist into that of her beast, swearing that that punch should have knocked out Shizuka," Artemis told her hunters, who nodded.
And it seemed that Artemis was right, as Shizuka raised a hand to call it quits. "Alright, then the winner is," the proctor said before Anbu appeared and whispered in his ear.
"What is going on, Genma get your act together," Artemis said as the hunters looked at her.
"Do you know that man Lady Artmies," a hunter asked as she looked at Genma in the distance.
"Yes, he was one of the few trained by the Yondaime Hokage to use something akin to the man's signature technique," Artemis told them, keeping the smile off her face as she remembered helping him and the two others learn it.
Genma's announcement left Artemis in utter shock. "How did she survive?" she exclaimed, her disbelief evident. "And why does she look the same as when she went on that mission?" she added, summoning a rainbow that revealed a shocked Hiruzen.
"How did she survive?" Artemis asked, her shock evident. "And her body, how is it not older? She's the same as she was when she went on that mission," the goddess added before summoning another rainbow, which showed Hiruzen, who looked equally shocked before he looked at her.
"Yes, Artemis-sama," He asked her.
"How is Rin alive," She asked him back as he looked shocked, "I have been watching the finals to see if my son will move up in rank, so answer the question," Artemis said, leaving the hunters in a state of shock about what she said.
"Right, first I did not know until today as well, so there is that, and she did not want to come back to Konoha as it brought up some bad memories, so she became a Kiri ninja for a while; she was held as a somewhat hostage for a time," Hiruzen said as Artemis nodded along with what he was saying as Tenten and Guren walked onto the battlefield.
"And why is she returning to Konoha now? Is it because of Kakashi?" The goddess asked as Hiruzen shook his head and smiled.
"No, she's not returning because of Kakashi," Hiruzen clarified, a smile on his lips. "She's coming back for her sensei's son."
Artemis smiled. "Rin was always my favourite of Minato's students, and when Minato and I found out that her mother and father died in the war, we thought about adopting her," Artemis said as the hunter's eyes widened.
Hirzuen nodded before he gained a look, "Artemis-sama I have a question, and this may sound a bit shocking but I think that what I'm about to say will make Naruto safe within Konoha," He told her as the goddess of the hunt narrowed her eyes.
"And that question is," Artemis asked him.
"Can you claim Naruto before the start of his match, and in doing so, I will personly announce who he is," Hiruzen told her as she saw the other Kage looking confused.
Artemis narrowed her eyes at the man. "I think it's a good idea," her mother-in-law's voice said from behind her. Artemis turned to see Amaterasu walk up and sit next to her.
"Why?" The moon goddess asked the sun goddess.
"It the for the best, but we shall do it when it is his second match," Amaterasu told her as Artemis looked in thought before she nodded at her mother-in-law.
"And the winner of the seventh match is Guren of Oto," Genma called out as both goddesses turned to see that Tenten was stuck on the ground.

"Poor Tenten, will her mother," Sakura asked, and Naruto shrugged.
"I don't know," he told her before turning to her. "But it's now your turn," Naruto told her as he leaned in and kissed her.
She blushed as Fū flew down to the battlefield. "What was that for? " she asked him.
"For good luck, " he told her as she nodded at him, and she followed the Nanbi jinchūriki down.
She stood across from the mint-haired girl who smiled at her. "May the eighth match begin," Ganma called out as Sakura jumped back from Fū, releasing some dust from her mouth.
The pink-haired girl raised her fist before punching the ground, cracking it, and sending a wave of shifted earth towards Fū, who jumped into the air, sprouted wings out of her back, and hovered in the air.
"Your going to have to do better than that," She told her opponent as Sakura smiled up at her.
"Oh, that was just the start," Sakura said before chakra enveloped her fist. She punched the air coolest around her fist before she punched it towards the flying girl.
"You missed," Fū said but then felt ruff winds around her.
"How do you like my Ōkatora Rankiryū," Sakura asked as she jumped up with her fist cocked back. "Shannarō!" she yelled as she punched Fū in the chest so hard that she sent the jinchūriki back to the ground.
Waiting Room
Naruto looked on in shock as Sakura landed and then ran towards Fū at her top speed, "Kurama, Tsubaki, remind me to never piss her off," Naruto told them as they were watching through his eyes.
"Oh, I will kit, don't worry," Kurama said, shocked at the leap in power.
"I think you have a thing for strong women," Naruto's sword spirit told him, and he could not hold but nod at the truth in her words.
He found Sakura excellent, and she never looked hotter than she is now.
"Who knew Pinky could do that," Temari asked aloud as she looked down at Sakura.
And I saw that the pink-haired Konoha kunoichi went through a series of hand seals before she lifted up a large section of earth over her head and lobbed it at Fū.
Who flew into a kick and started to spin in the air as she drilled into the rock, moved through it, and ended up on the other side.
She opened her mouth, released silk from her mouth, and shot it at Sakura as the pink-haired girl moved out of the way of the silk.
"She is doing amazing, and if she wants I can help her with her Water Release," Rin said from next to Naruto.
"I've taught her how to use her Water Release and some of her Taijutsu and the starting of her Earth Release, but with how your holding the Sanbi it would be a massive help," Naruto told her.
Rin nodded at him, and the two returned their eyes to the fight.
"Dame, I don't think that I would be able to face her if I was agest her," Yugito said as she walked up to the other side of Naruto.
"You are right; her strength is quite impressive," Han said as the other three of his jinchūriki siblings.
"That's true. I wonder if she can pass your armour five," Yugito said as Han looked to be thinking.
"She would have to hit me first, and I can boot my strength with the steam I release, thanks to Kokuō," Han told her.
But they all failed to see Gaara, who was slowly loosening his will as he twitched and the sand in his gourd wanting to be released.
"Bathe my sand in blood; go on, do it," a voice within his head told him.
"Do not listen to them, Gaara," Another voice told him.
Both voices then started to battle each other for dominance within his head.
Viewing Gallary, With Anko
Anko stood with Kurenai, Yūgao, Asuma and Guy, who wheeled in Lee.
"So I heard that you trained her," Anko said as they watched Sakura set out a barrage of kunai that floated in the air with little parachutes. "And what was that punch?" Anko asked.
"Panda helped with creating that; it has the bases of Toraken, with the gahtering of power, but with the added strength that Chakra Enhanced Strength gives to it and then she uses Wind Release to form a glove around her fist and then sents out a blast of wind," Yūgao told her as Anko nodded along with her, "Then when the 'glove' is sent ten meters away from her it bursts and makes the wind around her stormy," She added.
"Dame, that is some Wind Release," Asuma said as he looked at the woman. I could train her in that if she wants," he asked, but Yūgao shook her head.
"Her elements are Water Release and Earth Release, with Earth Release being her dominant," She told the man, who sighed.
"Dame, and here I thought that I could teach someone Wind Release," Asuma sighed as he looked back at the fight.
"Have you tried asking Naruto if he wants that training? With the Rinnegan, he has access to the five basic elements," Kurenai told him as Asuma made a noise and nodded at her.
Guy narrowed his eyes at the field as Lee looked at him, "What is it sensei," Lee asked the man.
"I thought I saw movement on the battlefield," Guy said as Yūgao smiled.
"It seems that the fight is about to end," she told them. They looked confused but kept their eyes on the match.
They watched as Sakura jumped after Fū and ensured she was face-to-face with the Nanbi jinchūriki as a tiger head formed over a fist.
Battlefield
"Torakisakiken," Sakura called out as she sent out a wave of chakra into Fū, who was sending out a blast of wind from her mouth. The two jutsu met in the air as the wind started to pick up around everyone as they looked on.
She saw a second Sakura appear behind Fū. "How did you? " she asked the Konoha ninja.
"Doton: Kage Bunshin," Sakura said as she moved her hands to the side before she thrust them forward into the back of the flying girl. The wind jutsu stopped, and the Torakisakiken hit Fū, knocking the girl out.
"You did good Fū, she just did better, and you are getting better," The Nanabi told his heart as she fell as her eyes started to close.
"That you. Chōmei," Fū told the kabutomushi sealed within her before she was knocked out.
Sakura moved so that she was under Fū and caught her before she put her down for the medics as they walked over.
"The winner of the eighth match is Sakura Haruno, and we are having an hour break before we move on to the ninth match," Genma called out as Sakura walked back to the waiting room.

Both Artemis and Amaterasu looked amazed before the moon goddess smiled, "It seems that she is trying to prove to me that she is good enught for my son," Artemis said as Amaterasu nodded at her.
"Yes, and I remember you doing the same when you found out that I was Minato's mother," Amaterasu told her daughter-in-law, who nodded.
The hunters still did not know what to do, as they were still trying to accept the thought of their lady having a child.
A son even.
"So what did Lady Artemis do," A hunter asked them.
Both goddesses looked at her. "Well, Jessy, I used the jutsu my husband created to save the woman who was my best mortal friend; it was originally created to save me, but when I used it, it gave me my name on the battlefield," Artemis told them as they looked at her in wonder.
"What was that my lady," Zoë asked the goddess.
"Akashi, red death, and if I remember right, people said that if they saw my red hair, they had better prey on the Shinigami," she told them as they looked at her, amazed.
"Why is that," A hunter with long blond hair asked her.
"Well, Chantelle, it was said that if they could get the Shinigami to answer to pull back one of her shoulders on the mortal plane, as the Uzumaki clan had four gods that we prayed to," Artemis told them as she held up a and, "The first was Kaguya, the Goddess of Chakra; the second was Hamura, the God of Life; the Sage of Six Paths, the God of the Ninja Creed; and finally the Shinigami, Goddess of Death," Artemis explained to her hunters.
And so they asked questions, hoping their lady would forget about her son.
New York, Montauk, Northeastern Long Island, Camp-Halfblood, Amphitheater
All the campers were listening to what two people were saying.
The first was the centaur.
The other was a man with a chubby face, a red nose and curly hair so black, it looked purple. He had watery, blue, bloodshot eyes from drinking. He wore a leopard-spot Hawaiian shirt and purple running shoes.
"And Thalia, you are going to be sent along the west bank to make sure that no monsters at hiding in the forest," The centaur called out before a rainbow appeared above him, and everyone looked at it.
"What is this," The man asked as he looked at it.
"Mr D," The centaur asked as he studied the rainbow.
"It seems that someone wants us to watch this, and if I remember from what Fubuki told me, this is the Chūnin Exams finals," Mr D told the centaur.
"Wait, could it be her sending this message?" a camper said, but Mr D shook his head.
"No, a god or goddess is doing this," He told them as they watched.

Hiruzen looked around before he spotted something in the air. It was a rainbow, and he looked hard enough. It looked like a split screen showing a group of girls with Artemis and Amaterasu, while the other side showed a group of children around twelve and up with a man and centaur.
Then he saw another fly split in the screen, showing people dressed differently.
"It seems that she wants all to know who her son is, and I know what I have to say," Hiruzen thought as he looked back down at the battlefield and saw that it was getting fixed.
"Who was that you were talking to," Ōnoki asked Hiruzen, who looked at him.
"All will be answered on the ninth match, and I promise that all questions will be answered," Hiruzen said as his guards nodded.
Jiraiya could not get his smile off his face. "Oh, aid that the truth, Sensei, " he said as the other guards looked confused.
"So, do any of you think that anyone has proven to be given the rank of Chūnin yet," The Mizukage asked the other Kage, who looked at each other and rubbed their chins.
"I think that the Nara girl should be given the rank along with the Suna kunoichi as they both used their heads to think around each other," the Raikage said as the others nodded. "And I think that Uzumaki also has the skills to become a Chūnin," he added.
"The same goes for the Hanuro girl; she is impressive for someone so young, and then there is your village's kunoichi; while Samui did not meet the cut, I think that Yugito has proven that she can get the rank," Orochimaru told them as he kept the act up.
Cantina
Naruto and Sakura walked up to the queue as they were getting their food, "So what are you getting," Naruto asked her as he looked at the selection on offer.
"I know you're going to be getting the ramen, and I'll get the sushi," Sakura told him as the demi-god nodded at her. As they were the next in the line, they bought their food and started walking back.
"Hey, Naruto," Tenten called out to the blond from behind him as the Uzumaki stopped and turned to her.
"Yeah," He asked her.
"Do you feel as if some thing from our mother's sides are going to happen today," She asked him as Naruto narrowed his eyes and nodded.
"I do," Naruto said as he looked to where the battlefield was. "I have a feeling that It's going to happen before my fight with Gaara," He told her as both girls followed his line of sight.
Deep In The Forest Around Konoha
A large group of ninja from Suna and Oto sat around a large summoning circle, sending chakra into it.
But they did not know they were being watched from above by a large team of Anbu that Danzo had placed there.
"How long do we have to do this," A suna ninja asked as another walked over.
"Don't question it. We have our job, and here it is," they told the first, who nodded.
"Danzo-sama, when should we strike?" One of them asked into a radio mic.
"When the seal implodes, take out everyone that survives," He told them as they nodded.
"Afermative," The Anbu told his leader as his group was ready to move.
One Hour Later, Chūnin Exams Arena, Battlefield
Naruto stood across from Gaara as the blond had his head ready to draw his sword while his opponent had sand at his feet, shifting around him.
Genma walked in between them and looked at the two before he raised his hand.
And a puff of smoke appeared within the arena not far from the three.
When the smoke cleared, it showed Kakashi and Sasuke, with the latter dressed differently.
He wore a black, one-piece version of this usual attire with many small belts adorning his left arm and similar bands around both legs.
Both teacher and student looked shocked to see Naruto standing there as he looked at Gaara.
And Gaara looked right back at the blond.
"Kakashi your late, so late in fact that your student, Sasuke Uchiha has been disqualified," Genma told Kakashi, who looked generally shocked while Sasuke had a scowl on his face.

Artemis shook her head at the Uchiha as he started making a fuss. "If only his mother was around, she would have disciplined him for his attitude, " the moon goddess said as her hunters looked at her.
"You knew his mother," A hunter asked as Artemis nodded.
"Yes, I did, but now for the bit that Sarutobi asked for," Artemis said as she looked at her son and felt the connection that she had with her son.
That a mother has with her son.
And she called on that.
Both sides of her did as she smiled, "You already claimed him," Artemis told her Roman counterpart as her symbol started to form above Naruto.
"Who says that I can't claim our son twice," Diana told Artemis.
New York, Montauk, Northeastern Long Island, Camp-Halfblood, Amphitheater
Gasps filled the air as Mr D looked over to the centaur. "Chiron, is my punishment getting to me, or am I seeing the symbol of Artemis above that young man? " he asked as the now-named Chiron nodded.
Another symbol appeared behind the first: a circle with six Tomoe.
Element Nations, Land of Fire, Konoha, Chūnin Exams Arena, Battlefield
Naruto looked above him and saw the two symbols, and he knew that the second was his grandmother's.
The first is a silver crescent moon with an arrow in the middle, almost like a notched bow.
"Ladies and gentlemen of Konoha and beyond, on this day, I can now prove that the gods truly exist with us all, and this is the proof that one of them has claimed their child, and so," Hiruzen called out as he bent the knee to Naruto, "Hail, Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki, son of the moon maiden, lady of the hunt and the wild, hail the Son of Artemis goddess of the moon, and descendant of the eastrn sun, Grandson of Amaterasu," He yelled out as people started to bow at Naruto with the Kage doing the same as Hiruzen.
Genma followed when the others were doing, while Kakashi saw this and fell to a knee, while Sasuke was scowling and did not fall to his knee.
After a while, Hiruzen and the other kage stood up. "Kakashi, remove Sasuke Uchiha from the battle field, and Genma start the match," he called out.
