There was something generally odd about the Mosasaur in the parks lagoon. It was not any specific thing that people were able to point towards, and generally speaking it remained a valuable asset for the park, and there had never been an incident. But there was, some claimed, a glimmer of intelligence in the creatures eyes, something more than mere animal intelligence. Which was of course, absurd. Well, maybe, she would admit, it was similar in intelligence to whales or dolphins, but given the fact that it never even tried to test the defences of the lagoon? It was not as dangerous as the raptors.

To be sure, there were stones at the bottom of the lagoon that some claimed were pushed and made into patterns, and that apparently it had a habit of stargazing while 'humming' late at night while nobody was around were the extent of the oddities surrounding it. But, there had never been anything that could be proven that it was smarter than it appeared to be. Other than the fact that it never lunged at visitors, and the best guess on that was because it thought it may be swarmed and overcome by force of numbers.

Which was not related to why it would not slam into the viewing chambers... rather because there was insufficient space to turn, the large aquatic reptile seeming to prefer having a wide turning radius if possible. Still, nothing to be worried about, and hopefully Zach and Gray would enjoy the show.

She was going to die. Terror was blooming inside of her as she was picked up, dunked and almost drowned... but the worst? She saw it coming, as the mouth came for her, as she felt it around it, as it was swallowing her whole. The light was a narrow window, blocked by the thrashing claws of the Pteranodon as it tried to escape... well, she tried to grab the damn things legs, to pin it for spites sake. As she would never have the wedding she dreamed of, never have the kids and family she had been hoping for. She cried and screamed, hate and loss and terror inside of her, as those jaws closed.

She was dead,,,, even as the Mosasaur did not swallow. Was she lodged in its throat? Was she going to choke it to death, only to drown afterwards? She sobbed and giggled, as she felt... movement, as she slipped back slightly... and then muscles moving, heaving... pushing as the jaws opened. Her body slid down, the tongue almost like a slip and slide as she bawled her eyes out, as hands gripped her, and she screamed, even as she was being pulled elsewhere.

There was rain, the scent of ozone rich in the air as something roared and thunder boomed in time, the winds howling as as something... something big moved. She looked up, where the boys were looking on with faces of fascination and terror... as the beast of the lagoon flew through the skies like it was so much water. This... this has to be a near death hallucination, right?

The last hour or so had been... terrifying. First, they were hunted by that thing in the jungle, only narrowly avoiding being killed by it, only just escaping it... and then the winged dinosaurs swarmed and swooped into main street and people were being dropped to their deaths. Even the woman their aunt... something Young? Even she had been taken and they saw her get eaten, just like the shark from earlier that day. It was terrifying and wrong... and then reality stopped making sense, Gray muttering and cowering about how it isn't possible.

Yeah, no shit. Things as big as the Mosasaur, that had to live in the water to survive, should not be capable of flight like it was out some sort of fantasy game, even as it began to convulse, to vomit out its victim right in front of them, an amused gleam in its inhuman eyes. A part of him, as he grabbed her, as he helped to drag her away, eyes on the impossible monster, trying to get Gray to get away from it? A part of him was gibbering, as the world did not make sense, as reality seemed to not want to make sense.

The monster shook its head... and it spoke. Impossbly, it spoke... and he recognized part of it, which made his mind hurt even more. "Drem yol lok goraan gein. Lig, kuz hin tiinahro freyiik zek wah ek, fen ni hi? Zu'u tolaan wah daal wah dii hadriidak, ahrk daar los pogaas zos vahk fod okravaaz los birgah fah zey. Nahlii huvut wah nir dii meyar kipraan fund kos grik nuthaak."

A part of him, as the creature turned? A part of him wanted to cry out bullshit, because Skyrim was a fantasy game! Dovahzul was a made up language! There was no way that it could simply fly off, its roar calling a storm it itself, shrouded in sheet lightning. His aunt packing a gun and shooting one of the things going after her? Out there, but a lot more normal considering everything else. The fact she kissed someone? Willingly? That actually calmed him down, as it was clear that some of this was just a stress hallucination.

So long as he and Gray stayed with Owen... they should make it out of this, even as his aunt was... hugged by a hysterical and sobbing woman, who had landed in a fountain, not the lagoon. As that never happened.

Even as his pack was torn from him, as he felt that sinking feeling... a flash, ozone crackling and a wall of lighning appearing in the air as... okay, was that the fucking Mosasaurus, but now flying, wrapped in lightning like some sort of cheap movie? Like some sort of nightmare? Even as he felt his mind being seized, torn from his body, Barry seemingly joining him... as were the ghostly impressions of the raptors and the rex. He could understand them, as they cried,. as they spoke... and they could understand him.

It was strange, even as they went back into their bodies, snapping back to the chorus of what the hells... and as the storm shrouded flying reptile vanished. It would not be for several hours that they would discover? Apparently it ambushed Vic, shouted something and afterwards? Hoskins was a very angry pot bellied pig before it returned to the lagoon. Which apparently it could leave at any time, because it was some sort of magic flying Mosasaurus and not a regular one. Yet, there were more important things... like the fact that his largest pack member was nuzzling him while holding him like a teddy bear.

Just what the hell happened? He was confused.
