[Prologue]

(April 2nd, 2078. Commander meeting room in Gibraltar Watch Point.)

"So… Yeah, one thing has been proven, anyway. That fella over there, who is talking right now, is really someone who came from the past."

Second Commander Ana leaned against the door of the half-open conference room and spoke. Sergeant Kim, a Time-traveled Vietnam War veteran, and who had just finished introducing himself, was seen talking with other heroes.

"I don't think he's going to be that much of a problem. But I'm sure it will be if he finds out about this. How should we have to deal with this?"

Sojourn said, lifting up a paper document. It was a personnel management paper document that Soldier:76 was read, to verify Kim's identity. As everyone knows, it was a file that had been stored somewhere in a spacious archive under the U.S. Army all along, since it was written nearly 100 years ago, with a monochrome identification photo and a typewritten letter. The information was familiar to the other heroes as well as the candidate himself of the document. However, there was only one more thing. The fact that the three commanders: Soldier:76, Ana, and Sojourn in the meeting room right now only knows, and that was something that only the three of them had agreed to keep in mind for the time being. It was just one paragraph right underneath the year of Kim's birth. However, it was a paragraph that could cause quite a lot of confusion if it were released now.

Jinho Kim. E-6, Sergeant (SSG). United States Army.

Birthdate: January 3, 1962.

Status: Killed in Action. December 28th, 1986. Buon Ma Thuot, Vietnam.

Soldier:76 had frustrated feelings. Kim said he had come here from November 4th, 1986. If nothing was wrong with the record, this vigorous-looking man was destined to die within the next two months from today (well, now is actually 92 years after future though, but for him, it's not even a day passed yet). There was no possibility that this recording could be wrong. Because his Army informant sent him an additional confidential document. It was the report of the supernatural incident, of helicopter missing in Pleiku, that happened on November 4th, 1986.

If the helicopter was gone for completely missing, it would be remained as a mystery, happened during the Vietnam War, and will be recognized as something that only a few would remember 92 years later. But, the final pages of the report contained solid information. The helicopter, which disappeared near the Pleiku, reappeared at Camp Geronimo exactly 10 days later, on November 14th, 1986. With the helicopter itself, its cargo, and even with the missing person on board, too, in clear condition.

Sergeant Kim, who was the only one who disappeared with the helicopter, testified that he had seen the same mysterious light, and when he opened his eyes again, only an empty helicopter was flying over the lake with all of his passengers missing. He finished his statement that nothing more had happened, and as the fact that the helicopter itself and cargo had returned clearly has confirmed, the military police set him free to his barrack two days later. However, the command seemed to feel unusual from the incident and tried to conduct further investigations, but as the North Vietnamese offensive had begun that very week, it prevented them from properly starting an investigation by conducting a massive retreat operation. And just a month later, as President Reagan passed the Allied withdrawal policy from Vietnam, and the U.S. military's Vietnam command, the pivot of the investigation, was disbanded almost instantly. It does not mean that there was no one else to take over the investigation, but only three weeks after the withdrawal began, Saigon finally fell down and the South Vietnamese Republic was destroyed, so no one else was interested in it.

By just looking at the papers will not give him any answer, so Soldier:76 briefly put the paper down on the table. But two things were certain. One day, of course it's not right now, but that smiling young man over there, would have to go back with his helicopter, and have to die during the operation of the Buon Ma Thuot fallback on December 28th, 1986.

"Should we tell him about this?"

Sojourn rolled her eyes and opened the mouth.

"Are you out of your mind? Yeah, it's true that we can't keep it ourselves forever, but is there anything good that we could get by doing that now? That fella over there, it would be enough pressure to him to accept that he is already in the future, beyond 92 years of his original timeline. Would it be good to him, by add something heavier on it?"

Soldier:76 said.

"I also disagree about saying to him about this now. Moreover, we don't know what he'll gonna do if we let him know when he's gonna die, in such a chaotic situation as right now. But, still. We must tell him about this one day. About his own destiny. By looking at here, he's not just a time traveler, but a traveler who brought an unfortunate fate."

Second Commander Ana said, looking at Kim, who was entering the infirmary, almost being dragged away by Dr. Mercy.
