![]() Author has written 2 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Young Justice. Hello there readers! Hope you all enjoy my work. I'm also on AO3, if that's what you prefer. About Me I grew up loving Percy Jackson fanfiction, and came back years later to find that most of my favorite fics... aren't great. Now, I've decided to try writing my own. I wanted to create stories that felt well-crafted and worth reading, so I’m a bit hard on my stories and spend a lot of time drafting each chapter. I appreciate any kind of feedback! Reviews help me see what’s working (or not), and follows and favorites give me that extra push to keep going. Spoilers for my story ahead. 'Hero?' To start off, I'm a big fan of the DCAU, Young Justice, and Teen Titans, so I decided to dive into fanfiction exploring these worlds. I quickly noticed an abundance of Percy Jackson/Young Justice crossovers and decided to check them out. However, I found that many of them follow a similar formula: “Young Justice ft. edgy Percy Jackson.” No disrespect to the authors—if it works, it works—but that style just isn’t my thing. Because of this, I decided to write my own story. In this fanfiction, Lex Luthor is the one who discovers Percy first. Now, Percy works under The Light, serving as a potential secret weapon and a formidable foil to DC’s heroes. Percy will have to struggle between his fatal flaw of loyalty, his morals, and demons from Hell who've risen with one goal: to feast on some divine seafood. This Percy Jackson/Young Justice crossover is my primary project at the moment. I’ve written 115,000 words so far, with 38,000 currently published. The story is shaping up to be a substantial read, likely over 300,000 words when complete. The story picks up after Demigods & Magicians, the crossover series between Kane Chronicles & Percy Jackson. While reading it, I realized the Percy Jackson vs. Setne scene was the perfect jumping-off point for a multi-fandom crossover. In this story, I intend to explore Percy's demigod abilities outside of the typical son of Poseidon powerset. I think the fact that demigods in the Riordanverse can casually manipulate reality through The Mist is insanely underexplored. Key characters in my story will include Percy (of course), Klarion the Witch Boy, Lex Luthor, Lady Shiva, Wonder Woman, Raven, and John Constantine. For pairings, I’m considering Percy/Shiva, Percy/Cheshire, or Percy/Talia. However, things may change as I change the way the story's structured. A few months ago, I was on the verge of abandoning this fic. However, a sudden surge of kudos on AO3 reignited my motivation and convinced me to keep the story going. 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: On Stranger Tides' This story is probably abandoned. To start things off, I thought this story up with the help of .ianfleming (he's awesomesauce). The story was originally planned to be 25 chapters long and around ~90,000 words. It was set to take place over 10 days of spring break, between the Sword of Hades and The Last Olympian. My plan for the story was: Percy Jackson and his family are given tickets to Grand Cayman by Poseidon, which they gladly accept. They go to the island and Percy encounters a powerful sea goddess named Benthesikyme, who reveals that multiple underwater cities are being destroyed by an unknown force. He gets sent on different missions throughout the story by Benthesikyme. (Paul thinks it's a marine biology program). The supporting characters being Sally Jackson, Paul Blofis, Benthesikyme, and several nereids, the main ones being Galene and a legacy of Dynamene. The big bad was going to be the Titan of Destruction and the original Perseus' namesake, Perses; who planned to unleash chaos using a legion of Telkhines, the mountain-sized sea monster Cetus, and several nuclear bombs. His ultimate goal? To harness the resulting destruction and channel its power to resurrect the nearly faded husk of Asteria. The finale sees Percy, Benthesikyme, and the local mythological sea life joining forces to thwart Perses' plans. The climax is a battle between Percy and Perses, they duke it out in a final climactic battle where Percy slices Perses into bits and disperses his essence throughout the ocean, preventing him from regenerating. In my opinion, the concept had a lot of potential, but looking back at my story document, I’m not entirely satisfied with it. The narrative left the Asteria storyline unresolved—everyone got their happy ending, except Asteria, who faded away while trying to avoid becoming another victim of Zeus’ predation. On top of that, the chapters I published didn’t gain much traction, with only a handful of favorites, follows, or kudos. I hope you all enjoy my stories. If you do, drop a follow or favorite, those are what keep me going. If you don't, leave a review, let me know why you don't like it, I've got pretty thick skin. |
