A Different Oath
Hestia was a Goddess on a mission. Despite what others around her believed she wasn't an idiot. Sure she may be absent minded, forgetful, clumsy, and a whole host of other things but Dumb wasn't one of them. Prometheus himself said so and he was one of the smartest people she ever met, even more than her niece (from the amount of times he beat her that much was obvious). So when Poseidon and Apollo decided that they wanted to try and woo her and gain her hand in marriage she knew that she had to do something.
Getting her family together wasn't that hard, she was their beloved Sister/Aunt so when she had said she had an announcement to make they came. It was slightly daunting seeing them all there, ready for whatever she had to say, but she was determined to do this right. Holding her lucky rock close (She didn't know why Prometheus kept laughing at it and calling it Breus) she made her way to the center of the Throne Room.
"As you all know Poseidon and Apollo have been arguing against one another for who shall have my hand in marriage. Well I decided that I will make the decision myself!" She nodded to herself seeing that she had all of their attention now, especially they two who were mentioned.
"Well it's obviously me right dear sister, after all I was there with you since the beginning, my domains extend to all the seas and the riches they hold. There's no need to string along our fool nephew."
"Hold on Uncle, it's obviously me that she has chosen, while you may hold the seas my songs clearly moved her heart and convinced her that I am her Husband."
The two went back and forth, descending into a repetitive argument like the last few times they met. Looking to her baby Brother, she cleared her throat and made her way up to him, to the confusion of everyone else. "Lord Brother, King of the Skies, I Hestia, Goddess of the Home and Hearth do vow upon your name to remain pure. I shall take no Husband, no Lover, no Partner to share my bed, and the Only company I shall keep is the Flames I tend to, until my duty as an Olympian is fulfilled. And then I shall give myself to my 'Flame'."
She could see that her vow shocked them, with her two suitors looking especially destressed. Zeus, great brother that he was immediately agreed to honor her request, making sure that her foolproof plan was now in motion. After all it wasn't like they knew she didn't plan on staying an Olympian, or that she called Prometheus her 'Flame'. If her baby brother misunderstood her Oaths well that's just on him.
Leaving her shocked family behind, she took Breus with her to go see if Prometheus had any new snacks to share.
That'll show them, calling her an idiot goddess behind her back.
Loki's No Good, Very Bad Day.
Loki made a mistake. There were many ways he could have completed the ask assigned by his brother, from using his magics to confuse the Builder to stealing the supplies he was using to build Odin's Palace.
Instead he decided to lure his horse away. By turning into a mare.
Why did he think this was a good idea again?
Oh right, Tyr, the bastard, bet that he couldn't distract the horse for a whole night, then proceeded to get him drunk.
That Fucking Bastard!
So here he was, pregnant with a horse baby and having to deal with the humiliation of having been bred by a stud.
At least nobody will find out.
AN: Hail Breus, True King of Olympus. Also being Loki is Suffering.
