Missed Opportunity

Vesta was determined to make the most of the current situation, this being one of the few times Prometheus was around. Sure, she had to split his time with Minerva and her clinginess, as well as Bellona and her need to challenge her betters, Jupiter coming to him for advice, and some other gods seeking his wisdom but that just made the time they spent together even more precious than it already was. She enjoyed listening to his stories of his travels, having gone past the boundaries of the Empire. His new recipes were also simply divine, doing things with such simple ingredients that she was truly thankful for.

She lived for the Pizza and she would die for it if needed.

Still, just being with him a blessing for her maiden heart, and she was going to finally let him know that she would be courting him. As she was no longer an Olympian due to her darling nephew she was no longer bund by that silly oath. So, mustering her courage she made her way to where her precious 'Flame' resided and ...

WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE JUST LEFT!?

Lessons in Magecraft

Princess Morgan decided her magic teacher was weird, what with his habit of making weird faces and laughing at the strangest things. Still, she had to admit that he was smart. He had to be considering she was learning a whole new way to cast magic from him.

He told her that it was a magic based on recreating the mythical by invoking myths and legends, borrowing from the belief in those stories to recreate facets from them. He used Prometheus as an example, invoking the myth of him stealing fire to summon a ball of flames, though he had one of his weird faces while explaining it making her think he didn't like the story.

He then went on to talk about how the main strength of Magecraft was its ability to integrate with other systems of magic, such as runes or scriptures to boost the effects of the new product. The specific branch of Magecraft he was planning on teaching her was that of Faecraft, or the recreation of Fae Magics using their stories. Though according to him she had a ways to go and best focus on basic Magecraft.

While she would never admit it to his face she did enjoy learning under him, glad to have someone that was their for her after her Mother died. Now she just had to work out how this Structural Grasp spell was supposed to work before Myrddin's next visit, not wanting to disappoint him.
