Somewhere in East Liverpool at an old factory, the Ancient Guardians are hosting underground dragon fights where a Nightmare is facing an unknown dragon.

"This dragon fight is one for the ages!" Calvin announced. "As Two-Horns takes a crushing blow from the head, from Poison!" he said.

"Yeah, whatever." a guy mumbled. As it turns out, the audience were bored and they can barely stay away, and then Trouble appeared.

"Officer Bzinak, it's always a pleasure of seeing you here sir." said Calvin, and he gave a box filled with money the customers paid. But Trouble was dissappointed at the amount of cash.

"This is not the amount we agreed on." said Trouble.

"Richard, we've done well together in our fighting enterprise. But now with you're champion, the fights are over before they start." Calvin explained to Trouble. "No one will pay for a fight that ends in five minutes." he pointed to the bored audience, as the unknown dragon went back into its cage.

"I see you're point." said Trouble. "But if I were you I'd find a solution to turn this thing around." he left, but ot before tossing the monsy to Calvin. "Your cut."

"I hate that guy." Calvin groaned in frustration.

The next day at the catacombs, the Warriors are relaxing since there's no attack from either Origa or the Ancient Guardians.

"This is the life. No alarms, no invasion, and especially no attack from the enemy." Connor sighed in relaxation.

"You said it Connor." Maia agreed as she took a drink of her soda and let out a burp.

"Nothing to do but eat and sleep." said Luu Luu who is sitting on a chair. And then she spotted Beardsley updating the pages of the book. "Hey Beardsley, what are you doing?" she asked.

"I'm updating the pages." Beardsley answered.

"But why? We haven't discovered new dragons,"

"That's because we discovered rhe characteristics and personalities of other dragons, I decided to do a few changes." Beardsley said to Luu Luu. "Now Fear class can also be Tracker class," he mumbled as he began writing down.

As Alicia was surfing on a website, Vault appeared on the screen.

"Hey, Connor. Are you there?" said Vault. Then Connor ran to the computer.

"What is it Vault?" said Connor.

"We've got captures dragons at the South side of Calcutta." he answered.

"Alright. I'm on my way!" said Connor. "Let's go Shade!" he said, and he and Shade fled burnConnor accidentally spinned Alicia around on her chair.

Later, Connor and Shade made it to Calcutta and spotted Vault and Scar at an abandoned neighborhood. They landed and Connor got off of Shade to look around.

"Are you sure you spotted captured dragons?" said Connor. "It looks abandoned." he said.

"Yes, I'm sure of it. This place was filled with Ancient Gaurdians, but no dragons." said Vault. And they heard their dragons growling, like there's something or someone around.

"I have to agree with them on that one." said Connor, then he heard roaring coming from behind a house. "Come on!" he said, and they went to the house.

They went to the backyard where they spotted dragons locked in cages.

"Looks like we found them." said Vault. And just as they're about to free the dragons, Scar sniffed at something. And on instinct, he grabbed Vault and then knock out gas landed on the ground releasing the gas, and this causes both Connor and Shade to cough.

"Connor! Shade!" Vault yelled in shock.

"Go! Get help!" said Connor, and he and Shade were knocked out. And the two fled to get away from the gas.

Connor groaned as he finally woke up, he opened his eyes his vision was blurry, but when their clear he spotted dragons, and not only that they were chained. Connor looked down and noticed that he's chained as well and his sword his missing.

And he spotted Shade who is also chained and had his face covered in a muzzle, he heard the door opening and he saw Calvin and anither Ancient Guardian.

"That's him sir." Then the dragons began to roar at the two, but Calvin snapped his whip which causes them to be quite.

"Don't worry kid I won't hurt you or your dragon. I've got a very special event planned for hin." said Calvin. Then Connor and Shade heard roaring, and they spotted two dragons fighting each other in the arena.

"Dragon fights." said Connor, then Calvin appeared in front of the audience.

"Ladies and gentlemen, get ready!" Calvin announced. "Tomorrow night, two new dragons enter the ring in a battle royale! Only one dragon will leave victorious, will it be the Scorpion Tail or Connor's dragon?" he said, and this got everyone excited.

Meanwhile, Vault made it back to the old neighborhood with the others to save Connor and Shade. But to his shock, Connor and Shade are gone.

"But, they were right here a minute ago?" said Vault.

"Don't worry, I'm sure there's got to be some evidence around here." said Maia, then the Warriors began to search for some clues. And that's where Kaguya spotted something.

"Sea slugs." said Kaguya, which got the others attention.

"Excuse me?" asked Grave.

"The dragons were lured with sea slugs for food and then gassed." Kaguya explained as she fed Yusha the sea slug.

"But that doesn't make sense." said Alicia who is not sure about this. "Why were the dragons if they were already captured?" she said.

"Maybe to make it easeir for them to transport when the dragons are pacified." said Prim.

"But how are we gonna find them?" said Claudia. "They could be anywhere in the city?" she said,

"Well, all we got to do is get some information," said Luu Luu. "if we get some information, we can find Connor and Shade." she said, and the Warriors started to agree with her.

"So we have to find someone with inside knowledge of some king of criminal trading ports." said Vault.

The next day, Connor and Shade are still locked up along with other dragons, and he spotted a Gronckle licking on the wall trying to get a bite on a rock. Then Connor looked around and spotted a spotted a piece of the ground has been cracked, he grabbed a nearby pipe and pried it up.

"Hey, is a big rock for you." said Connor as he gave the Gronckle the rock. And the Gronckle ate it in joy.

"Dinner time!" an Ancient Guardian tossed fish into the cage, as the other dragons eat one Nightmare spit it out as it growled in pain.

"I've seen this before." said Connor, he took the fish and showed it to the Nightmare, and when it opened its mouth spotted something and took it out, which causes the dragon to roar in pain. And the source of the problem is a fishing hook, and that's when the Nightmare felt that the pain is gone.

Then Ancient Guardians came in and wrapped leashes around a Nadder and Shade.

"Everything's gonna be OK Shade, I promise." said Connor to Shade, and he spotted Calvin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, I bring you, for the first time in the ring..." Calvin paused. "Connor's dragon!" he announced, which causes the crowd to cheer, as the Ancient Guardians dragged Shade out of the cage.

"Battling the most sharpest dragon in the world, the Quilltail!" then the Ancient Guardians removed the leash from the Nadder.

And then the two dragons began circling each other, then the Nadder attacked but Shade dodged it and blast it in the face, then the Nadder fired its spikes at him but he avoided the shots. Then Shade tackled it, but the Nadder uses its tail and smacked him in the face, so with quick thinking he uses his tail to cover his face which lured the Nadder.

And when the Nadder was focused on Shade, it attacked but Shade jumped up and fired at a chain dropped the cage, and trapped the Nadder. Which causes everyone to cheer Shade's victory.

As Connor was smiling, he spotted a Terror sneaking in playing with a piece of paper and a pen, which gave him an idea.

Later the Warriors regrouped to see if they found anything.

"Find anything?" Alicia asked.

"Nope, none." Grave answered.

"Yeah, and those punks passed out because of Scar." said Vault. And that's where Luu Luu spotted a Terror with a piece of paper.

"Hey, guys check it out!" said Luu Luu which got their attention. "A messenger dragon." she said.

"Well that's new." said Vault as the Terror landed on his shoulder, then Vault removed the paper from the its horn and began reading it. "Guys. Me and Shade are locked up in some kind of factory, in an underground dragon fight get us out of here! Signed Connor." he read.

"Dragon fights!" Alicia said in shock.

"I didn't know there was such a thing." said Prim.

"I'd say its new." Maia replied. "Come on, let's go." she said, and the Warriors flew to save Connor and Shade.

Back at the factory, Connor is scratching a Nadder as it purred in satisfaction. And then the Ancient Guardians came in and dragged Shade to the arena, and they dragged what seems to be the dragon fighting champion, it has pincers of a scorpion and three stingers of three scorpions.

Everyone began paying to see the tournament, and placing their bets and Calvin is counting. And then Trouble appeared.

"Richard! You're just in time to see the greatest fight in history." Calvin said, but Trouble wasn't in the mood.

Outside of the factory, Vault and Maia disguised themseves as customers so they can get into the factory to save Connor and Shade.

"We're here to watch the fight." said Vault in a deep voice.

"Alright. That'll be ten dollars."

"OK." said Maia in a high voice. "They're up here." she pointed, and once the two goons looked they say Flame and Smoke carrying a piece of metal. They dropped it on them which rendered them unconscious. Then Vault and Prim opened the door so they can signal the other Warriors.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the main event!" Calvin annunced. "The reigning champion, the Scorpiontail, versus Connor's dragon!" he announced which causes everyone to cheer.

"What!? Connors here!" said Trouble in outrage.

"Don't worry. He's locked up." Calvin said to Trouble, but Trouble took out his blaster in a threatening manner.

"If Connor ever escapes, I'll blast you." he warned, and he left.

"I really hate that guy." grumbled Calvin.

Then the match was on, the Scorpiontail charged to attack but Shade got out of the way, then it uses its stingers to attack. But Shade narrowly dodged them and he blast it, but it wasn't called the champion for nothing, the Scorpiontail tackled Shade and they rolled around until Shade knocked him to the wall.

Then it uses one of its stingers to wrap around Shade and flew up, and just as it was about to finish him Shade uses his tail to smack its face which causes it to let go of Shade. Then he began blasting it, and the crowd was loving it. Then the Scorpiontail uses three of its stingers to use his special attack, but Shade dodged and just as he's about to fight back it pushed Shade.

As Connor was watching the fight in worry, he heard some grunting noises coming from behind the door, once the door opened Alicia and Prim came in.

"There you are." said Alicia.

"Guys it's you!" said Connor in excitement.

"We were worried that you'd be in trouble." Prim said to Connor.

"It's not me I'm worried about." he said in worry as he watches the fight.

Then it starts to get serious, Shade roared at the dragon fight champion and he began blasting it, he continue to blast it until finally the Scorpiontail collapsed. Shade jumped up and just as he's about to finish it off, he looked at the Scorpiontail where it looks like he's accepting defeat. Shade stopped and decided not to, which causes the audience to boo.

"What's going on!?" Calvin came to the arena. "Come on fight, fight!" he smacked his whip to the ground. But Shade and the Scorpiontail growled at him, and are ready to fight him.

"Hey! Get over here!" Calvin called out, which brought other Ancient Guardians, and just as something was about to happen the rest of the Warriors came and began blasting everywhere, which causes the audience to flee,

"Shows over everyone!" yelled Vault. The Warriors continue to run amuck, the Ancient Guardians began to fire, but Connor and Alicia began knocking them down.

Then Trouble began blasting at the two, and then the rest of the dragons that were imprisoned began to open fire around the former police officer. Which causes him and the rest of the Ancient Guardians to escape, and once they're gone the rest of the dragons left, except for the former champion.

"Hey!" Vault said in recognization. "That's a Triple Stryke." he said.

"Poor thing." said Claudia in sympathy. "He's been forced to fight for so long he doesn't know anything about freedom." she said.

And then Shade showed him his wings, which he did the same thing and then he flew.

The Warriors were now flying home followed by the Triple Stryke who was doing some spins.

"He's sure happy to be free again." Connor smiled.

"Why! And also, Striker is a better name than Scorpiontail." said Luu Luu.

"And once we take him to the forest, he'll love it." said Grave, as he and the others.

"And y'know, I can't tell that Alicia was relieved to see Connor's face." Vault said. "It's almost like she has a thing for Connor." he theorized, only to have Alicia throw her show at Vault which causes everyone to laugh.
