Hey, guys. Welcome to the new chapter of Avatar: The Blue Spectator Chronicles. I hope you guys will enjoy it...anyway, I don't own anything, except for my OCs, as the OCs Mako Yami and Okami belong entirely to 9655."

NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!

{Book 1: Water-Chapter 12: The Great Divide}

It was a normal day in the Earth Kingdom as we see the sun setting behind some tall rock outcroppings with the sky being mostly cloudy and the clouds reflecting the light of the dying sun as we then see a patched-up tent being jostled about from the inside and a rolled-up tarp lies next to the tent as Sokka could be seen inside of the tent, trying to assemble it as he grunted and fussed about as he tries to finish setting up the shelter just as Katara walks onto the scene with a pile of firewood in her arms as she raised an eyebrow confusedly.

"Um, aren't you forgetting the tarp?"

"Right, got it," Sokka says while going over to bend down and grab the wrapped-up tarp as he proceeds to toss it inside of the tent, much to Katara's annoyance as she glares at him lightly.

"Sokka, you're supposed to put the tarp on top of the tent. You know, so we don't get rained on?"

"Ordinarily, you'd be right, but seeing how it's the dry season, you're not. Besides that tarp makes a pretty warm blanket."

"But what if it does rain?" Katara added as Sokka spread his arms wide in exasperation.

"What if it doesn't? Then I would have put up the tarp for nothing." Sokka pointed out as Katara groaned and stomped her foot on the ground angrily.

"You're infuriating!"

"Katara, why don't you worry about gathering firewood, because that kindling is looking pretty sorry."

"Well, if you don't like my firewood then forget it!" Katara snapped angrily while throwing the sticks at Sokka, who shielded himself from the wood as he stood in anger after the hail of sticks subsided.

"Fine by me, if you're not gonna do your job then I won't either!" Sokka snapped while tearing the tent down and the two stared at each other furiously as Aang and the others appeared.

"Okay, Mako and I got the grub."

"And I got the clean water, so let's do this thing-Wait, what?" A bewildered Naxon asked as he and the others noticed that the Water Tribe Siblings turned away from each other in anger with their arms folded.

"Whoa, where's the campfire? And what happened to the tent?" A confused Mako asked as an angry Sokka pointed over at Katara.

"Why don't you ask Miss Know-It-All, Queen of the Twigs?!"

"Oh yeah? Well, you're Mister Lazy Bum, King of the Tents!" Katara says while picking up and throwing a twig at Sokka's head as he turns to glare at her.

"And you call me immature?! Stop throwing things around like a child!"

"Why you-,"

"Okay, listen, guys, harsh words won't solve problems, action will. Why don't you just switch jobs?" Aang suggested as Katara and Sokka fumed but nodded as he grinned. "You see that? Settling feuds and making peace, all in a day's work for the Avatar."

"Speaking off, I better do my job as the Blue Spectator," Naxon says while walking over to the Avatar Pets, who are fighting over a watermelon as Momo and Fluffy continuously try to fly/run away with it while Appa and Okami pin it down as Naxon walks over to grab the watermelon and use his Alien Strength to rip it apart into four pieces and gave each of them to the Avatar Pets as Fluffy and Momo seems to be complaining about how they got the much smaller half and Appa and Okami got the bigger half. "Come on, guys, that's a fair share. Appa and Okami are huge compared to you guys." Naxon pointed out as Momo and Fluffy pouted but said nothing as we then cut to the next day, early in the morning as we see Team Avatar Spectator standing on the edge of a huge canyon.

"There it is, guys, The Great Divide," Aang says as Mako looked to be in awe.

"Wow, I could just stare at it forever."

"...Okay, I've seen enough." A bored Sokka says as an equally bored Naxon nodded in agreement.

"How can you not be fascinated, guys? This is the largest canyon in the entire world." Katara pointed out as Naxon shrugged dryly.

"Eh, I have seen way more amazing things than a giant hole in the ground."

"Besides, I'm sure we'll be able to see it very clearly from the air while we fly away," Sokka says just as Gan Jin Tribesman runs onto the scene and shoves past them.

"If you're looking for the canyon guide, I was here first!"

"Ooh, canyon guide? Sounds informative." An intrigued Katara says as the Gan Jin Tribesman smirked smugly.

"Believe me, he's more than a tour guide, he's an earthbender," The Gan Jin Tribesman says as he was completely oblivious to the fact that Sokka is behind him, mocking him as Team Avatar Spectatorc covered their mouths to stifle their laughter. "And the only way in and out of the canyon is with his help, and he's taking my tribe across next."

"Calm down, we know you're next," Naxon says while raising his arms as the Gan Jin Tribesman glared at him in annoyance.

"You wouldn't be so calm if the Fire Nation destroyed your home and forced you to flee. My whole tribe has to walk thousands of miles to the capital city of Ba Sing Se." The Gan Jin Tribesman says just a large group of poorly dressed people is shown walking towards them as Katara points over at them.

"Is that your tribe?" Katara asked as the Gan Jin Tribesman snorted and rolled his eyes as he began laughing mockingly.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"

The Gan Jin Tribesman laughed as he then composed himself and glared over at the Waterbender firmly. "It most certainly is not. That's the Zhang Tribe, a bunch of low-life thieves. They've been the enemies of my tribe for a hundred years." An angry Gan Jin Tribesman says as he then turns to the Zhang Tribe. "Hey, Zhangs! I'm saving a spot for my tribe so don't even think about stealing it!"

"Where are the rest of the Gan Jin? Still tidying up their campsite?"

"Yes, but they sent me ahead of them to hold a spot."

"I didn't know the canyon guide took reservations." The Zhang Tribe says sarcastically as the Gan Jin Tribesman scoffed and rolled his eyes with a smug grin on his face.

"Ha, of course, you didn't. That's the ignorance I'd expect from a messy Zhang. So unorganized and ill-prepared for a journey." The Gan Jin Tribesman says as the Zhang Tribe Members yell out in protest behind them, and Katara and Aang look at each other worriedly but turn around to see a large pile of rocks being levitated up and thrown away as the Canyon Guide stands behind where the rocks used to be.

"Sorry about the wait, youngsters. Who's ready to cross this here canyon?"

"One of them, I guess," Mako says as he points over at the Gan Jin Tribesman and the Zhang Tribe.

"I was here first, my party's on their way."

"I can't guide people who aren't here." The Canyon Guide says as the Zhang Tribe filed past Team Avatar Spectator and the fuming Gan Jin Scout.

"Guess you guys will have to make the trip tomorrow." The Zhang Leader says mockingly with the Gan Jin Tribesman's eyes twitching in anger before perking up upon seeing a group of clean, finely dressed people appearing on the scene as he then points over at them in triumph.

"Wait, here they come!"

"You're not seriously gonna cave into these spoiled Gan Jins?" The Zhang Leader asked the Canyon Guide with a glare as she turned to her. "I mean we're refugees too, and we've got sick people that need shelter."

"I...uh...well..."

"We've got old people who are weary from traveling."

"Sick people get priority over old people."

"Maybe you Zhangs wouldn't have so many sick people if you weren't such slobs."

"If you Gan Jins weren't so clean, you wouldn't live to be so old." The Zhang Leader says as she and her tribe and the Gan Jins begin arguing with each other as Mako turns to Aang and Naxon.

"Well, guys, ready to put your peace-making skills to the test?"

"I don't know, a fight over chores is one thing, but these people have been feuding for a hundred years," Aang says as Naxon nodded in agreement.

"Plus, this isn't any of our business anyway, so let's just fly away on Appa and-,"

"Everybody, listen up!"

"Oh, okay, fuck me then," Naxon says with a glare, annoyed at being interrupted as Katara steps forward to confront both tribes and points over at Aang and Naxon.

"This is the Avatar and the Blue Spectator. If you give them a chance, I'm sure that they can come up with a compromise that will make everyone happy."

"Okay, how about you do the obvious solution and share the earthbender and travel together?" Naxon suggested as the Gan Jin Leader turned to glare at him.

"Absolutely not! We'd rather be taken by the Fire Nation than travel with those stinking thieves!"

"We wouldn't travel with those pompous fools anyway!" The Zhang Leader says as both tribes begin to shout at each other again, pissing off Team Avatar Spectator as Aang steps forward.

"All right, here's the deal, you're all going down together, and Appa and Okami here will fly/run your sick and elderly across. "Does that seem fair?" Aang asked as, thankfully, both leaders nodded in agreement, and Team Avatar Spectator sighed in relief at this as we then fast forward in time and we see the sick and elderly of both tribes boarding Appa and Okami.

"Guys, this feuding tribe stuff is serious business. Are you sure it's a good idea to get involved in this?" Mako asked as Naxon shrugged.

"Not really but we have no choice thanks to Katara," Naxon says while giving the Waterbender a dry look as she grinned sheepishly.

"Hey, you are the Blue Spectator and Aang is the Avatar. Making peace between people is your jobs."

"And their job is gonna make us cross this whole thing on foot, isn't it?" A groaning Sokka says while facepalming as the Canyon Guide then stepped forward.

"Okay, now comes the bad news. No food allowed in the canyon, it attracts dangerous predators." The Canyon Guide says as both tribes yell out in protest. "Oh, you babies can go a day without food? Would you rather be hungry, or dead?" The Canyon Guide says as he then raises an earth pillar to tower over the rest and then cups his hands to his mouth to amplify his voice. "Now, we're heading down in ten minutes! All food better be in your gut or in the garbage!" The Canyon Guide exclaimed as the Zhang tribe quickly whipped out and shoved food into their mouths, which stood in stark contrast to the Gan Jin tribe, who eat slowly with chopsticks, as Team Avatar Spectator quickly ate their food before Aang and Mako turned to the people riding around on Appa and Okami as they walked towards them.

"Appa's going to take good care of you 'till we get there."

"Just hold tight and don't fight," Mako says as he and Aang say their goodbyes to Appa and Mako, who roar loudly and either fly off or begin running across the canyon at high speeds as they both disappear from sight.

"Water."

A man wearing Nothern Water Tribe clothes weaves a stream of water from the ground as he twirls it around him before thrusting it to the side.

"Shadows."

A woman, wearing Shadow Nation Clothing, could be seen twirling and dancing around, drawing up multiple shadow tendrils as she then tossed it over to slam it across the readers' faces.

"Earth."

A man wearing Earth Kingdom attire kicks the ground, bringing up a large rock as he punches it to smithereens.

"Fire."

A woman wearing Fire Nation attire crouches down as she summons hot flames from under her feet before leaping up as she does a spinning high-kick that spreads the fire around.

"Air."

A man, wearing Air Nomad clothing, lands on the ground gracefully, and he then proceeds to make a circular motion with his hands and summons a gust of wind as he forms it into a ball and throws it at the readers.

"Long ago, the five nations lived together in harmony." Katara's voice was heard as we saw a glimpse of each individual nation and people living in harmony. "But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked," Katara says as we see hundreds of Fire Nation ships invading other cities and burning them to the ground.

"Only the Avatar, master of all five elements, could stop them," Katara says as we see the Avatar standing on top of a pillar as he grins, and his eyes glow blue as he proceeds to perform multiple bending techniques at once. He started out by summoning a Tsunami, then splitting a mountain in half, generating giant torrents of fire by his hands and feet, summoning an air sphere around him that levitated him off the ground, and raising his hands as he summoned multiple giant hand-shaped shadow constructs. "But when the world needed him most...he vanished," Katara says as the Avatar suddenly vanished, and we fast forward a hundred years later, where we see the decimation left by the Fire Nation as they burned everything sight without mercy, not caring who gets in their way as long as they achieve victory in the war.

"A hundred years have passed, and there was no sign of hope of the Firebenders ceasing their attack, but that all changed when my brother and I've discovered a boy who fell from the stars, an alien soldier named Naxon Ecojifan," Katara says as we see her past self, and Sokka looking up in shock as an unknown object fell down from the sky and crashed down as they investigated the crash site, and were surprised to see a wounded Naxon came out of his ship as he crashed down on the floor, and Katara look down at him worriedly while Sokka stared at him suspiciously.

"Naxon explained to us about the war going on his own planet Elysium, and how the Ventis, a race of hostile aliens led by the great and powerful General Tes'lar, effectively dominated them," Katara says as we cue to space, where we see General Tes'lar commanding his Ventis army to take down the Detanons, who tried to fight back but were quickly overwhelmed as they were forced to retreat.

"But the Detanons haven't lost hope as Naxon and his uncle formulated a plan to prepare a base for the Detonans on Earth. Once the base is constructed, Naxon and his people will reunite to end their war once and for all." Katara says as we see the Detanons retreating to a large tower and run over to the escape pods while Naxon and Tarkal are formulating a plan. After agreeing with his uncle's plan, Naxon left for Planet CV-52, but not before giving one last somber look at his planet as he promised his people that he would come back and flew off.

"After explaining his backstory, we had agreed to help him and taken him in as one of our own. A few weeks after going on a fishing trip, my brother, my friend, and I have discovered the new Avatar, an Airbender named Aang." Katara says as we see her past self, Sokka, and Naxon finding Aang trapped in an iceberg as his eyes and tattoos were glowing brightly. "And although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone," Katara says as we see Aang standing in a meadow with a grin on his face as he created an air sphere and jumped on it as he laughed and rolled across the meadow, but lost control as he crashed against a stone column and fell down.

"But luckily, he's not alone as Aang will get help from an old friend," Katara says as we see Aang standing on top of a mountain's peak, looking down at the four nations that he will be protecting as Aang feels a little bit nervous, but calms down as a blue glove was placed on his shoulder, and Aang looks up to see Naxon giving him a reassuring smile while wearing his Blue Spectator Armor as Aang smiled and grew determined as the Avatar and The Blue Spectator looks down at the five nations fearlessly, ready to face whatever danger comes their way.

~{Avatar: The Blue Spectator Chronicles Intro Over}~

"Nice bending." Mako complimented as we fast forward in time, and we see Team Avatar Spectator and the others climbing down the Great Divide as the Canyon Guide Earthbends to form a bridge in a gap in the path.

"The job's much more than bending, kid. Folks want information." The Canyon Guide says as he then turned to the others. "Many of you are probably wondering how canyons are formed. Experts tell us this canyon was most likely carved into the ground by earth spirits who were angry at local farmers for not offering them a proper sacrifice." The Canyon Guide says as everyone then looks up in fear when an avalanche of rocks comes falling toward them, but the Canyon Guide merely Earthbends it away from them. "He, he, he, guess the spirits are still angry. Hope you all brought sacrifices." The Canyon Guide says as he and the others walk forward as we see them entering the canyon floor, and the guide stands in front of the two tribes and Team Avatar Spectator. "Okay, everyone, stand clear of the wall." The Canyon Guide says while throwing the boulder and destroying the bridge he had made earlier, creating a big dust cloud as a surprised Aang turned to him.

"Why'd you do that?"

"These people are fleeing the Fire Nation, aren't they? Gotta make sure we can't be followed. We'll be safe now-AAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!" The Canyon Guide says before screaming in pain as a giant animal appears out of nowhere and latches onto him as Aang blows away the dust to reveal that it is a Canyon Crawler attacking him.

"We gotta help him!" A determined Sokka says while throwing his boomerang over at the Canyon Crawler, which drops the Canyon Guide as Mako quickly uses his Shadowbending to latch onto him, but everyone flinches in surprise as the giant monster comes after the Water Tribe Boy instead. "Okay, now we gotta help me!" A panicking Sokka says while running away as Katara comes to his aid and does a water whip on the Canyon Crawler, but she is quickly thrown aside as an angry Aang jumps down and sends multiple blasts of air at the Canyon Crawler, distracting it long enough for Naxon to reach into his pocket to pull out his glowing Blue Spectator Coin as he held it up high into the air.

"It's Morphing Time!" Naxon exclaimed while raising his glowing Blue Spectator Coin as a blue glow covered his body, and once it died down, we see that Naxon had transformed himself into his Blue Spectator Form as he then summoned his Blue Trident and waved it around, creating a big wave of water that collided against the Canyon Crawler and sends it flying away as he turned to the Canyon Guide. "What was that?!"

"Canyon Crawler, and there's sure to be more." The groaning Canyon Crawler says as Katara goes over to check on him.

"Your arms, they're broken."

"Without my arms, I got no bending. In other words-,"

"We're trapped in this canyon," Mako says with a serious glare on his face as a confused Sokka turns to him.

"I thought the whole point of ditching our food was so we wouldn't have to deal with things like canyon crawlers."

"It's the Zhangs! They took food down here even after the canyon guide told them not to!" The Gan Jin Leader accused while pointing over at the Zhangs as the Zhang Leader fumed.

"What? If there's anyone who can't go without food for a day, it's you pampered Gan Jins!"

"I hope you're happy because we're stuck in this canyon with no way out!"

"Why don't you thank yourself, food hider?!" The Zhang Leader asked as Aang stepped forward.

"Look, sticking together is the only way to-,"

"I'm not walking another step with the likes of them!"

"Now there's something we can agree on!" The Gan Jin Leader says as Mako turns to give the Canyon Guide a pleading look.

"Any ideas?"

"No bending...we need to get out of this canyon...I won't die down here! I won't become part of the food chain!" A panicking Canyon Guide says as the Gan Leader glares over at the Zhangs.

"See! We're going to become part of the food chain because of you!"

"Sure, unjustly blame the Zhangs like you always do!"

"Gladly!"

"Why are you proud of that?!" An annoyed Blue Spectator asked as he then stepped forward. "Look, enough of this bullshit! Since all of you refuse to act like proper adults, then it looks like Aang and I have to act like the adults around here and treat you all like the children that you all are!" Blue Spectator snapped as Aang nodded with a glare as they then pointed over at a tall rock that split off the path into routes that led to the same location.

"We should split up, Gan Jins on this side and Zhangs on that side. We'll travel in two separate lines." Aang ordered as the two leaders nodded at each other and started walking as the Avatar then turned to the Water Tribe Siblings. "Sokka, you go with the Zhangs, and Katara, you go with the Gan Jins while Mako comes with us and the Canyon Guide. See if you can find out why they hate each other so much." Aang ordered as everyone nodded and began walking separately as we then fast forward to nighttime, and we cue over to the Zhang Camp as everyone was setting up their tents without the tarps as Sokka spotted this and raised an eyebrow curiously.

"So, you guys aren't going to put up your tarps?"

"What for? It's the dry season." The Zhang Leader says with a shrug as Sokka perked up.

"Exactly!"

"Besides, we like to use the tarp as a blanket."

"Finally, someone gets it!" An excited Sokka says as we then cue over to the Gan Jin Camp, and everyone is putting up their tarps over the tents as Katara is surprised by this.

"You really think it'll rain?"

"No, but you can never be too careful, right?" The Gan Jin Leader asked with a shrug as Katara smiled and nodded as we then fast forward in time yet again and we see the Gan Jins sitting around their campfire as the Gan Jin leader looked around and pulled a piece of bread out of his sleeve as Katara looks stunned to see all the other tribe members doing the same. "Would you care for some bread, Katara?"

"So it was you guys who had food!" Katara yelled accusingly as the Gan Jin Leader scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Oh come now, you really think that tribe of thieves isn't smuggling food? Why should my people go hungry when the sneaky Zhangs are stuffing their faces?"

"...Well...I guess it's okay if everyone's doing it." Katara said while taking the bread and eating it as she gave him a curious look. "So, why does your tribe hate the Zhangs so much?"

"You seem like a smart girl Katara, I bet you would enjoy hearing some history. You see, the patriarch of our tribe, Jin Wei, was an Earthbender Warrior who was assigned an important duty, transporting our sacred orb from the Great Eastern Gate to the Great Western Gate. Taking the orb from the east to the west represents the sun's rising and setting. It was our tribe's ancient redemption ritual, but as he approached the gate, Jin Wei was attacked by one of the Zhang, a vermin named Wei Jin, who looked at the orb with envy. That coward Wei Jin knocked Jin Wei to the ground and stole our sacred orb. Our people have never forgotten. You can never trust a Zhang." The Gan Jin Leader says as Katara gasps in shock and then glares over at the Zhang's Camp as we see the Zhang Tribe and Sokka sitting around the campfire.

"Care for some meat?"

"Would I!" A beaming Sokka says while taking the meat and biting down hungrily.

"I know what you must be thinking, we're horrible for endangering everybody by bringing food down here. The Gan Jin think so badly of us, they probably assumed we brought food in and decided to bring food in themselves. That's why we brought food in. Our conflict with the Gan Jin goes back over a hundred years. Our Forefather Wei Jin was leaving the western gate of our village when he saw a figure in the distance. It was a man from the Gan Jin tribe, Jin Wei, who collapsed on the ground. Noble Wei Jin stopped to help him. Jin Wei was transporting a sacred orb, a very powerful relic used in his tribe's redemption ritual. Wei Jin tried to tend to the man's wounds but Jin Wei insisted the orb was more important, and asked him to take it back to his tribe. Kind Wei Jin promised to send help for the man as soon as he could, but as Wei Jin crossed the border to return the orb to Gan Jin territory, he was arrested. Instead of thanking him for his kind and selfless deed, they sentenced him to twenty long years in prison. We Zhangs will never forget that injustice."

"That's just terrible...you gonna finish that?" Sokka asked while drooling at her piece of meat as we then cued over to Naxon and the others as we see them sitting far from both camps.

"Sure would be nice to be sitting around one of those campfires, telling stories and laughing," Aang said with a heavy sigh as Mako nodded.

"Yeah, but it's okay, Aang, we'll be out of here soon enough," Mako says as the Canyon Guide sighed heavily.

"Lonely isn't it, being impartial?"

"We wish that we could help these people get along, but it just seems impossible." Blue Spectator says with an annoyed glare on his face while taking his helmet off as he groans. "But our biggest problem is getting out of here, I guess."

"I'm not so sure the two problems are unrelated." The Canyon Guide says wisely as the trio nods in agreement and then goes to sleep with their stomachs rumbling loudly as they moan in hunger.

"...All clear, we're almost to the other side." The Canyon Guide says as we cut to the next day and we see everyone arriving at the end of the canyon as Mako turns to the Water Tribe Siblings.

"So, guys, will these people cooperate long enough to get out of the canyon or what?"

"I don't think so, Mako, the Zhangs really wronged the Gan Jins. They ambushed Jin Wei and stole the sacred orb." Katara says as Blue Spectator raises an eyebrow confusedly while wearing his helmet.

"What are you talking about?"

"Yeah, Katara, what are you talking about? Wei Jin didn't steal the orb, he was returning it to their village gate and was wrongfully punished by the Gan Jin." Sokka says as Katara scoffed and rolled her eyes dryly.

"Not punished enough if you ask me."

"Okay, okay we get it. Now we need your help, we need everyone together at the base of the canyon wall." Aang says before he and Blue Spectator run forward to confront both tribes.

"Okay, everyone, just shut the fuck up and work with us already. We need you all to put your heads together and figure out a way up this cliff. Besides, as soon as we get out of here we can eat and then go our separate ways," Blue Spectator says as Gan Jin Leader rolls his eyes and crosses his arms.

"Maybe the Zhang can climb the wall with their long disgusting fingernails!"

"Oh sorry, I forgot that to the Gan Jin unclipped fingernails are a crime punishable by twenty years in jail!"

"Why, you dirty thief!"

"You pompous fool!"

"Ugh, oh my god..." An annoyed Blue Spectator says while facepalming as both tribes begin to argue loudly again, accompanied by Katara and Sokka as an angry Aang steps forward.

"Guys, focus! How many times do I have to say it?! Harsh words won't solve problems, action will!"

"...Perhaps the Avatar is right."

"...Yes, perhaps he is."

"Harsh words will never solve our problems."

"Action will!" The Gan Jin Leader and the Zhang Leader say in unison while drawing their swords, and Aang yells in surprise while Naxon grows serious as they clash their swords.

"To the death! And let this be the end of this rivalry!"

"You know, I take it back! Harsh words aren't so bad!" Aang says worriedly as the two leaders ignore him, and they begin to fight as they are evenly matched and continue until Blue Spectator summons his Blue Trident and slams it down into the ground, blowing both tribes away with a huge strong gust of air as they all crashed down into the ground, revealing a large amount of hidden food as Naxo grew angry by this.

"Is that...food?! Everyone smuggled food down here?! Are you fucking serious?! You guys put our lives in danger because you couldn't go without a snack for a day?! You are all so fucking brain-dead and idiots! God! I never knew that Humans can act so idiotic and petty!" Blue Spectator snapped just as all of the dozens of Canyon Crawlers appeared out of nowhere, and they went over to confront them.

"Oh no, that's a lot of canyon crawlers!" A worried Katara says while she and the others run away to hide behind several pillars as the Canyon Crawlers walk forward.

"We barely survived one!" A glaring Mako says as the Canyon Guide sweats nervously.

"They're coming back for me! They've had a taste and they're coming back for me!"

"Sokka, I don't care about this stupid feud, I just want us to get out of here alive," Katara says to Sokka concernedly as he nods.

"Me too. To be honest, I only took their side 'cause they fed me. I don't really give a shit about their past whatsoever."

"Same," Katara says as Blue Spectator and the Avatar can be seen fighting off the Canyon Crawlers with their combined Airbending, and soon has them all in a pile as the Canyon Crawlers pick themselves up and target the refugees as Team Avatar Spectator and the Tribe Leaders fight hard to hold them off, but they are all vastly outnumbered as Aang and Naxon look around to see the Canyon Crawlers eating the food out of the bags.

"Everybody, watch us and do what we do!" The Avatar and the Blue Spectator ordered while distracting the Canyon Crawler with two pieces of food and leaps on their backs as they threw two bags over their snouts, and the two Tribes mimicked them, working together. "Now follow us! We're riding out of this hole!" The Avatar and the Blue Spectator ordered while tying two huge bags of food onto two sticks and using them to guide the Canyon Crawlers up the canyon wall. "Everyone, get off!" The Avatar and the Blue Spectator ordered and as soon as all the people had made it up the cliff and jumped off from the Canyon Crawlers, Aang and Naxon threw the bags back down, and the Canyon Crawlers followed as they all disappeared from sight.

"I never thought a Gan Jin could get his hands dirty like that."

"And I never knew you Zhangs were so reliable in a pinch."

"Perhaps we're not so different after all."

"Yeah...too bad we can't rewrite history. You thieves stole our sacred orb from Jin Wei!" An angry Gan Jin Leader says while drawing his sword as a glaring Zhang Leader does the same.

"You tyrants unjustly imprisoned Wei Jin for twenty long years!"

"Ugh..." Team Avatar Spectator says while sighing in frustration as Aang then perked up.

"Wait a second...Jin Wei? Wei Jin? I know those guys!"

"Yes, yes, we're all aware of the story-,"

"No, I mean I really knew them. I might not look it, but I'm a hundred and twelve years old. I was there one hundred years ago on the day you're talking about. There seems to be a lot of confusion about what happened. First of all, Jin Wei and Wei Jin weren't enemies. They were brothers, twins in fact, and they were eight; and most importantly, they were just playing a game. The sacred orb from the legend, that was the ball. And the eastern and western gates were the goalposts. Jin Wei had the ball and was running toward the goal when he fell and fumbled it. Wei Jin didn't steal the ball, he picked it up and started running it toward the other goal, but he stepped out of bounds, so the official put him in the penalty box. Not for twenty long years but for two short minutes. There was no stealing and no putting anyone in prison, just a game."

"You're saying the sacred orb was actually a sacred ball?" A confused Zhang Leader asked as Aang shook his head.

"Nope, just a regular ball."

"What about our tribe's redemption ritual?"

"That's what the game was called, redemption. As soon as you got the ball from one end to the other, everyone would yell, 'Redemption!'," Aang explained as the Tribe Leaders looked at each other skeptically. "Don't get me wrong, Wei Jin was kind of a slob and Jin Wei was a little stuffy, that much is true, but they respected each other's differences enough to share the same playing field."

"...I suppose it's time we forget the past." Zhang Leader says as Gan Jin Leader nods and bows to her.

"And look to the future." The Gan Jin Leader says as the Zhang leader bows back and we then fast forward in time as we see Team Avatar Spectator, both Tribes, and the Canyon Guide meeting up with Appa, Okami, and the rest of the Tribe Members.

"Let us travel to the Earth Kingdom capital as one tribe." The Zhang Leader says as both tribes cheered loudly and they start walking.

"I'm going too! I'm sick of this place!" An angry Canyon Guide says while following after the tribes as a bemused Blue Spectator turns to Aang.

"That's some luck you knew Jin Wei and Wei Jin."

"You could call it luck...or you could call it lying." A sly Aang says as a flabbergasted Sokka turns to him.

"What?!"

"I made the whole thing up."

"You did?" A shocked Mako says as Katara then stares at him in devilish admiration.

"That is so wrong."

"Yeah, well, they almost killed us due to their stupid feud, so screw them."

"True that, let's never talk about this stupid adventure ever again and get some food." Blue Spectator says as Team Avatar Spectator nodded in agreement. "Power Down!" Blue Spectator screamed as a bright blue flash occurred, and once it disappeared, we see Nixon back in his normal clothes as his coin floated in the air a bit and the Alien Teenager reached over to grab it as he and the others then turned around to walk away.

And done. I hope that you guys enjoy the chapter, and I can't wait to write the next one.

Anyway, as always, I will catch you all later.
