Brenda was busy in her apartment getting ready for Sonny to arrive making sure everything was perfect but she get's a knock at her door. It was Sam McCall a good friend of Brenda's who was a good replacement from Brenda's friend Robin who was murdered by Sorel but Sam was just second best but still good for a female friend but Brenda also saw Ava as a new potential girlfriend.
"What's going on in here? Is it Jax did you win him back from Skye." Sam says to Brenda being quite curious.
"No it's Sonny I'm having dinner with him tonight I want to see where this will lead." Brenda tells Sam who is shocked and disappointed.
"Sorel's Sonny are you serious? Does Jax know about this?" Sam asks.
"Sam it's okay he's fine and handsome and he's nothing like Sorel wanted him to be he has a heart and is a good man." Brenda tells Sam.
At Ava Vitali's place Ava tries making something for both her and Lorenzo she wasn't that great with cooking skills but she could learn. She had a book of recipies and decided to try a burger and fries type meal for the two of them. Ava thought it didn't have to be romantic and then she get's a knock at her door it was Faith and Kendall wanting to meet Ava but she knew who they were.
"Faith and Kendall at my door come in Lorenzo won't be here yet for another hour or so." Ava tells Faith and Kendall.
"You two so belong together but what are you doing with that Brenda Barrett she's so not like you." Faith brings out to Ava.
"Don't be hard on her we both went through a horrible experience with Sorel who is finally behind bars." Ava tells Faith and Kendall.
"You have a beautiful place Jax has done well." Kendall points out to Ava.
"It's a great place but I would like to start some kind of business if Jax can make that possible." Ava tells Faith and Kendall.
"Are you coming to the brand new Deception party both Kendall and myself are hosting it we have dethroned Lucy she was all wrong." Faith tells Ava.
"I understand if it weren't for Lucy Deception would be nothing what are your plans for the cosmetic's company." Ava points out.
At the grocery store Sonny and Lorenzo run into each other not knowing they each had plans this very evening.
"Lorenzo not in your normal suite ready for a night of partying about the whole hotel business and all." Sonny says taking a guess at what Lorenzo's night was about to involve.
"No actually I'm having dinner with Ava." Lorenzo tells Sonny.
"Oh yeah you two probably could hit it off." Sonny makes mention of.
Lily happend to be nearby and over hears everything but once she learns Sonny is having dinner with the beautiful Brenda it's like her heart was shattered even though she was with Ric.
