(Val)

Midoriya falls backwards, barely getting nicked by the dagger as he rolls away. Val is on him again in an instant, stabbing downward. Midoriya rolls to the side, but can't regain his feet as a powerful vibration erupts from where Val had stabbed the ground.

Val dashes forward again, feinting with a dagger before using a harsh kick to propel Midoriya into the air. They follow up with a point-blank burst of light that sends the boy falling down the stairs and further towards the plaza.

(Izuku)

'I underestimated that light Quirk! It isn't just projectiles, it seems to be full blown Photokinesis!'

Getting to his feet as fast as his aching body will let him, Izuku charges OFA again and dodges to the side as Val comes in for another attack, the blow shattering the concrete. Val swiftly follows up by conjuring another dagger in the air and sending it flying at Izuku, the trajectory changing as he dodges, the weapon doubling back to try and nail him.

Just as he ducks another pass from the dagger, Val's knee slams into his chin with a vibration that sends him to the ground with how hard it rattles his skull. He's dizzy, and his vision is swimming. Fuck! He needs to get up, now!

(Val)

Val smirks, "I'll admit, you did a bit better than I expected, but it looks like this is all you can handle for now. Congrats, you've passed your first lesson! Now if you'll excuse me, I think I can hear the Star Spangled Idiot approaching."

Val leaps into the air with a burst of light energy, heading directly for the plaza below. Just as they meet back up with Shigaraki, All Might bursts through the doors. Grinning, Val flexes their fingers in anticipation. This should be good.

All Might rushes down to meet them, taking out every Villain he encounters on the way.

Stopping in front of them, a harsh glare on his face, he questions the Villains, "So, Villains, you thought you could get away with invading UA? What will you do now that I am here?"

Tomura cackles, "That's what we've been waiting for, All Might! You're the purpose of this little expedition of ours into enemy territory! We've come to test the waters a bit and, if the RNG is on our side, kill a major story boss while we're at it!"

All Might snarls, "You're bold, I'll give you that. But I've yet to meet my match!"

Charging forward, All Might tries to end the fight before it even truly begins, but the Nomu they brought along meets him head on and stops his attack dead. Appearing behind the Symbol of Peace in a burst of light, Val attempts to skewer the him with tendrils of inky darkness that erupt from the man's own shadow, but they barely miss as All Might gives a show of speed.

Predicting an attack, Val uses their Photokinesis to dash back over to their spot by Tomura, narrowly avoiding a devastating blow from All Might. Since Val has much more experience in the field, the decision had been made that the Nomu would only be programmed to protect Tomura so that it could be finished in time for this attack. Val will have to look out for theirself here, something they're already used to doing.

The Nomu engages the Number 1 again, matching him blow for blow with no signs of injury from the man's heavy attacks. Watching carefully, Val can see the moment that All Might decides to change his strategy. In preparation, they activate their newest Quirk.

They'd already had Photokinesis, Umbrakinesis, and Vibrate for a while now and are well accustomed to their use. However, this new Quirk is much less… straightforward than the others.

Under their breath they mutter to themselves, "Speed."

The word inscribes itself on their arm, glowing softly as it infuses them with the power behind its meaning. This new Quirk, Keyword, should prove incredibly useful.

As All Might attempts to bury the Nomu in the concrete, Kurogiri creates his Warp Gate, forcing All Might into a vulnerable position as the Nomu holds him in place. In the blink of an eye, Val is there next to All Might with a blade of darkness in hand.

As the blade cuts through the air, Val adds some Keywords, "Sharpen, Envenom."

Before Val's blade can find its mark in All Might's chest, Midoriya appears and lands a strong punch to their midsection, knocking them back.

Chuckling, Val looks up at the boy, "Well now, you're just full of surprises, aren't you?"

Glancing down at the blade in their hand, the small amount of blood confirms that it at least nicked All Might, which is all they really needed. The weapon having done its job, they let it dissipate into nothingness.

Assuming a fighting stance, Val is about to engage in another "lesson" with their pupil, but they're stopped by the sound of gunfire accompanied by Tomura's cries of pain.

Fuck.

The plan has the Nomu held in place, leaving it unable to protect Tomura. And now the Heroes had arrived, with Snipe being able to attack directly from the top of the stairs. Dashing away, Val grabs Tomura and ducks behind Kurogiri.

Grimacing, they look up at the Warp Gate, "Get us out. The mission's done."

Kurogiri nods, warping them away as a student freezes the Nomu, allowing All Might to slip free. Though, the Villains are now gone without a trace.

Before All Might can think to celebrate or check on his students, the man collapses, coughing up black blood.
