Seven years earlier...
...
As he opened his eyes and looked everywhere around in a dark small chamber, little Nate was so shy about making friends. He was also nervous of his surroundings since it did not have a comfortable aesthetic for him; everything looked rough and less snuggly around, which would explain why it was a chamber in the first place.
Nate was only five years old. As pointless as the information was, he was diagnosed with autism ever since he was born and, was also alongside the huge hair he had, which really spread around anywhere like a broom would do. He never had a haircut before either!
However, some generous lady was right behind him. And a lot similar to him as well! She had a big hair bun on her head, a white pleaded dress, blue leggings, and blue heels. She kneeled down to check on Nate.
"Honey, are you okay?" Her voice was heard.
Nate looked back at her shyly. "U-um...yeah..." He blushed.
"There's no need to be shy, Nate. I'm right behind you, okay? You've also got Eevee with you that daddy bought you!" She replied, patting Nate's hair with care. Nate giggled. It was the cutest thing the woman heard from her son. Nate looked down at his Eevee as it smiled back.
She soon kissed him on the forehead.
"Now why don't you make friends now? Make mommy proud!" She winked at him.
Nate, who is still very nervous, nodded. He soon walked off a bit until looking back at his mother. Without context he soon cuddled his mother until it was his second time to go out there. And then he walks off, his Eevee following him.
...
"Gale, do we have a moment?"
The woman turned back at the deep male voice that was heard from behind. It was a tall man who is completely bald. He was also wearing a grey tuxedo with black Bevan shoes. Red accessories like the scarf around his neck was dappled anywhere on him. His eyebrows were very big but strict.
"What do you want, Gyro?" Gale asked with a serious face. She and Gyro have a fundamentally gruesome relationship between them. They unfortunately got married and had Nate as their young son. Gyro was a leader of everything in this entire base, he wasn't a brilliant dad to Nate though...
No...not just that, also abusive.
"I would like to discuss this more privately." Gyro replied, then heads to the open vault door. "Come with me."
Gale sighed, and then turned back to Nate. She saw him looking around the other kids as he was too anxious and cuddling his Eevee with comfort. She wanted to console him again, but Gyro's "Ahem." swiped her away.
She turned back to Gyro's direction and sadly sighed. "I'm coming..."
Then, the vault door they both entered was shut.
...
"Something wrong, mate?" An weird-accent man walked over and kneeled to Nate. He looked really crooked like a pirate, that's what Nate thought when he looked at him the first time.
"U-um...yeah..." Nate replied, he was too shyly stuttered. He knew his mom suddenly wasn't here either! Where'd she go?
"Eh, what's wrong, hun?" The man asked him.
Nate was an introvert at answering things from unknown people. If his mother was around for him, he would be definitely fine, he's five however. No need to be so judge-y about it.
"E-everyone looked scary..." He answered.
While he took a look at the kids who were in the chamber, he saw one that is wearing grey stuff with wings but also has a halo on their head, which really bugged Nate out.
There was another one with blue hair with buns and pigtails. Their outfit looked cute, but their face is what disturbs Nate the most. They did have a mouth...but what is with their eyes?! Were they combined?! In one eyelid?!
And there was another one, but it looked like a doll. They have no hair, but they had some sort of ballerina dress. It was the least scariest thing to see, as Nate figured that.
And there was one with grey hair, blue dress, and other stuff. But they were laying down on the ground, looking lifeless.
And lastly, there was one that have their heads doubled together, with was really disturbing.
The man looked around the kids, and then carefully hugged Nate. "Eh, that's just what they are, bugger. Sometimes you gotta deal with it."
Suddenly, he saw Nate's Eevee sniffing around the ground and then trailed off.
"Um, bugger. You're little snooper's running off."
"O-oh! Thank you telling!" Nate pulled away the hug. "E-Eevee, wait!"
...
Gale and Gyro soon arrived to the volcano chamber, where a pool of lava is 50 meters away from the platform that Gale and Gyro are at now. The place looked like the sides of the volcano walls; much more like a cave with lava underneath.
It seems the discussion they're having is going too much.
"No, Gyro...you cannot be serious..." Gale growled. "Just because Nate is initially a normal boy doesn't mean you're going to manipulate him with your crooked Pokémon-related mechanics!"
"Nonsense, Gale, nonsense." Gyro calmly replied. "After he is perfectly reprogrammed, he'll be a great Team Corpse grunt. Even I can declare him my son if you want."
"I never wanted that!" Gale yelled. "I wanted my son to be raised perfectly like any other family would do! I wanted him to be a great trainer just as he grows bigger and more better! He...he doesn't earn to be living in this dump you call a home...!"
"Hm. Clever feedback." Gyro nodded.
"Don't you understand what you're doing?" Gale placed her hand on her chest. "You poorly treated everyone, including my son who is only a little boy...You destroy people and Pokémon for their innocent lives and turn them into wretched ones...and then you just operate all in disgusting deformities..."
Tears form in her eyes, looking back at Gyro with fierce ones. "I'm not letting you place your dirty fingers nor Pokémon on my beloved Nate!"
Gyro looked at her unemotionally. He soon closed his eyes and raised his head up.
"I don't approve your commentary."
That tormented Gale to high heaven. Her and Gyro shouldn't have been together for ages, and that was her huge mistake. If you were married and had a baby kid but you've mistreated him, what's the point of being together then?!
...
Nate's Eevee soon stopped at the corner entrance of the volcano chamber. Nate chased it but then stopped. "There you are..." He gently picked Eevee up, but something got into his attention.
He recognised his mother's voice, yelling back at Gyro. Nate seemed generally concerned, so he hid behind the corner of where the volcano chamber was located.
The man kept saying "Bugger? Bugger boy, where are ya?", but Nate ignored it. He continued watching the argument with Gale and Gyro.
Since Gale confronted Gyro about increasing the rate of danger his environment will come into being, her husband has sent out Houndoom, Corviknight and Dusknoir.
Nate, after seeing the three Pokémon sent out, he couldn't even think of an appropriate reaction to what he can see. Since Gale was his mother, she told him about big Pokémon being helpful companions to other people once they needed help. And also warned him about those types of Pokémon because not all big Pokémon are safe or friendly; they might act like that because they might be tamed by the trainer with a bad heart.
Nate decided to leave a face with his mouth trembling, his eyes slowly bringing out fear as he took tiny steps back. He held his Eevee tightly.
"Do you have any more to say?" Gyro asked, his voice getting more intense but calmer. "Any more before your husband develops a greater world?"
He was holding some orb that has a gradient with the colours lavender and pink. It makes a slight swoosh sound and kept going, it's a very silent sound. And it looked absorbent.
Gale's face was left with desperation with anger and sorrow inside. She was a very nice woman who wanted to take care of Nate and not with her cold-blooded, ungodly man she called a husband. If she had one chance to get away with this current situation, Gale would've just ran off, search for Nate in the chamber, pick him up or either take him, and run out of the base.
Or even divorce Gyro right away if she could.
*Gale never wanted Nate to be here. Since she gave birth to Nate last August, she always had a heart of being a mother, even when she wasn't prepared for it in the first place. She was the first person to ever see Nate in the blink of the eye to grow up from infant to post-toddler. She was happy and proud for her beloved son; Nate also attended school at a very young age!
She had fears for him, she was terrified that someone would steal Nate's life by an Yveltal's kiss if they dare to try, but Gale wouldn't accept it.*
*She was a pure definition of a mother to him. She taught him how to show manners, she taught him how to read books, she taught him how to clean stuff up, she taught him not to be lazy or turn back, she taught him the most polite way possible...anything possible, for an innocent son.
She also remembered the time when it was Mothers Day. When she got into a rough moment with Gyro that time, Nate suddenly came and rushed over to her. She was downright devastated...until Nate happily gave her a Mothers Day card which also highlighted the part, 'Thank you for being there with me! I love you mommy!'.
It cheered her up, Nate was there for her whenever she was down, but not all the time.*
*She always wanted to take care of Nate whenever he feels down in the dumps, she wanted to be a hero for him, like a mother-and-son relationship. But she can't be the only one in the family to have such a nice, glamorous heart for Nate.
She wanted him to create a beautiful and harmonic heart. For himself. To everyone.*
Right now, she's in the middle of a fight, her husband's Pokémon growling and ready to attack her when there's time; the scene was really getting more and more vigorous.
Nate didn't deserve to be living in some sort of dump for five years. He never deserved to have such a father that looked hideous and abusive on the inside. If Gale escaped and took her son with her earlier enough to accomplish anything, nothing of this would've been a moment.
She loved Gyro ever since they were teenagers. Yet she never expected for him to innovate something enormously deplorable that would affect the cause of the whole world; something that was made in one colourful orb. She trusted him before, and she fell for it. It was horribly noticeable.
She never wanted to do this, but it's up to her to invent a sacrifice.
"...I don't."
Gyro closed his eyes, he heard the disregard from his irrelevant wife. There was only a grin slowly lifted from his face as a deadly chuckle came out of him.
The growling from the Pokémon lasted until Gyro announced a commence.
"Now, now, fellas. Let her go."
He soon approached her in a very subtle yet inessential way. Gale composed herself for the climax Gyro was expecting for.
Gyro was now a few centimeters closer to Gale, he placed his hands on her shoulders and leaned slightly closer to her face. Like a confession, but worse, Gyro's lips pushed out a declaim.
"Au revoir."
The orb was soon tossed up in the air, and then Gyro punches it directly at Gale, causing the orb to shape as a punching fist.
After Gale was targeted by the attack, she was thrown off to the side and fell down. There was a pool of lava just below her as mentioned again. Nobody was there to rescue her, neither nervous Nate. She screamed by the moment. Until she was dipped in the lava, a massive splash concluded it.
Gyro's Pokémon were behind him during the authentic scene. The face left behind him was shown with disreputation and undemonstrativeness. He also left a smirk to the mix.
There was silence for a few seconds, Gale's death was finally a thing. She was gone. The mother Nate had has been scraped off the reality paper. The only caring mother Nate took care of for a short time.
It was too early for this.
...
"Mommy! Mommy!" Nate screamed, he was not expecting his dad to attack his mother like that. He never saw anything like that, and it scared him to death. He wanted to see if his mom is okay. As he continued to break down, punching the chamber glass door thoroughly.
Suddenly, the man finally spotted Nate near to the volcano chamber. Easily done by just hearing the little boy having a meltdown.
"Ah, there you are!" He said, running towards him. "What's with the attitude, mate? You shouldn't be watching your mama and pap-"
"Daddy hurt my mommy!" Nate interrupted the man's comment. Tears were formed in his eyes completely. "He did a Pokémon attack on her! A-And she didn't get up...! Mommy, wake up!"
Nate began to cry uncontrollably, his Eevee watched sadly as it made a sad cry.
The man began to look at Gyro while he was inside the volcano chamber. It seems that Gyro looked at the orb with a furrowed expression, whispering to it as it brings out colourful essence out of the orb.
That felt like danger, and the man soon picked Nate and his Eevee up.
"Hey!" Nate squealed. "No! I want my mommy! Let me go!" He tried to stop the man by kicking him rapidly, but it wasn't powerful enough for the man to get defeated. In fact, his age can't stand up for it.
"Sorry hun, but you're in danger now." The man replied, as he soon ran, holding Nate in his arms. Nate continued to have a tantrum, but it didn't last for long until the man escaped all rooms and vaults to make it to the entrance.
The man sent out his Mandibuzz and began to fly away from the building, and then places Nate inside a secure backpack, just to give out safety.
Since him and the man soared through the skies, Nate began to slowly open the bag's top lid a little and looked around the skies. This was something he never saw in his life, it's the sky. It felt like he was in some sort of dream, maybe a nightmare for this time?
Nate felt the fresh air as he took a deep breath. The fast wind blowing heavily on his face and his hair flowing behind, was this like a vortex or something?! It feels awesome!
It just got to the fact it calmed Nate down, just a bit.
Suddenly, he saw some Swablus passing by. They were going really slow, but they're the Pokémon Nate never saw in his life. They looked adorable, that was the comment made in his mind. Hearing their peaceful chirps was just twice as better.
But, some idea popped up into his mind. What if he can be like a Swablu? What if he can make such cute noises such as theirs? What if he can fly and look around the skies for himself? Creativity was pushing through his mind, he just can't help it!
Despite anything that happened a while ago, Nate began to make cute chirping sounds. His voice wasn't too loud enough to even try, but he didn't care for once.
The man heard the chirping from behind though. Since it was repeated for a few times, he soon pats the tip lid of the backpack, where Nate's head was touched through.
"Stay in there, mate. I don't want ya getting into what your mama's been through."
Nate soon stayed in the backpack, his Eevee was right next to him as it smooched at his arm. He smiled as he pats Eevee back.
But what Nate was clearly interested more was experiencing outdoors. But he did quite known for now that he shouldn't get out of the backpack until it was time. He peeked out a little bit again, looking at the skies while the clouds were getting more narrow.
Nate could've sworn he saw a very fast looking Pokémon dashing through the clouds while looking. It had no similarity nor comparison to the Swablus whatsoever.
It looked like an airplane, but had more animation and some stunts. So there's no way anyone in an airplane like that would survive.
It looked way smaller than Latios' or Latias' normal sizes.
The soaring wasn't that long, but Nate wished it was. They soon arrived at some city where there was a huge building covering around the center open part like the base Nate used to live in...
Soon, Mandibuzz landed to the center of the city. And the man got off and returned Mandibuzz. The backpack was still remained attached to his back.
SUMMARY:
Nate's backstory.
Nate was a little five year old boy who was very shy seven years ago. Gale, who is his mother, encouraged him to make friends until Gyro showed up and invited her to the volcano base for a discussion. Nate soon met a weird looking man and however lost his Eevee, which made Nate himself go look for it. Not until, after catching up with his Eevee, he soon eavesdrops his family having a rough time, which lead to his mother's brutal demise. Nate then has a breakdown after seeing the entire thing in his own eyes. Until the man soon checks out what was happening, and then made a run for it out of the base.
Once the man sent out his Mandibuzz and flew off, Nate soon calms down after experiencing the clouds and the sky for the first time, even some flying Pokémon he hasn't seen at all! That only lasted until him and the man arrived at a city.
KEYPOINTS:
* - Nate's mother's past information before her death.

Oh my gahh, I had so much fun making this chapter, eheehe ^^
I'm still planning on what the mysterious Pokémon was what Nate saw recently...
