There was a sudden scream echoing throughout the hallways as a runway cart was strolling down them with Grell on top of it. The cart crashed through the doors of the lounge room, surprising everyone. Cassandra saw the cart was heading straight towards her and she quickly side stepped out of the way, and it flew past and crashing into Finny instead. Grell flopped to the floor, dizzy, along with several teacups and a tea pot as they fell from the cart. A cup filled with hot tea fell on Finny.
"Hot! Hot! Hot!" Finny cried out in pain.
Grell quickly got up running over to Finny.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! Here I'll clean it up!" He tried to grab a napkin off from the table. But he ended up pulling the entire tablecloth as well, shattering some plates.
"Ah!" Grell backed away, embarrassed.
"Hey master, why did you agree on taking on useless idiot?" Baldroy asked him.
"You're one to talk, Bald. It didn't seem like it was a bad idea." Ciel sighed, regretting himself for falling for his aunt's antics. "I thought Sebastian was the only one inconvenienced. I never expected that I would be affected by it as well."
"I'm so sorry for causing all this trouble." Baldroy, Mey-rin, and Finny began to glare at Grell as he apologized repeatedly. "Wait, that's it! The only thing I can do now is die." Grell pulled out a knife about to stab himself with it. "I shall atone with my death!"
All three of the Phantomhive servants' eyes widen and their mouth dropped in shock and in horror.
"Hey, calm down a second! There's no need to do something drastic!" Baldroy cried out. Cassandra quickly ran over, gently placing her hand on Grell's wrist and shoulder stopping him. Grell's eyes widen a little in surprise, looking at her.
"Hey, it's okay. Everybody makes mistakes. It's not like it's the end of the world. There's no need to kill yourself over it." She spoke to him, smiling. Grell's grip on the knife loosened and Cassandra took it away from him. He looked up at her, admiringly.
"You are very kind."
Sebastian walked over taking the knife from Cassandra and began to clean up the mess, picking up the tea pot.
"And just think of the horrible mess you would make. It would take hours to clean up all of the blood." Sebastian joked, smiling. Grell stared at him, blushing a little.
"Thank you, Sebastian."
"Now what I'd like to know is how you think that it was acceptable to serve the master such weak tea." Sebastian began to show Grell as he took a can dried tea leaves and began to pour in the appropriate amount. "One spoonful for each person and one more for the pot. And finally add a half a pint of boiling water and let it steam until done." Sebastian finished and he gave a cup to Ciel and Ciel began drinking from it.
"Master, are you ready? It is almost time. I'll have a carriage ready for you."
"Fine."
Then Sebastian turned to the servants. "As for the rest of you, I want this place absolutely spotless, understand?"
"Would it be okay if I helped them a bit?" Cassandra asked him.
"That would be fine." Sebastian told her then he glanced over at Grell who was still sitting on the floor. "Grell, perhaps you should just sit there and relax so you don't cause any more trouble. And if you do decide to seek your eternal rest, please do it outside and try not to make a big of a mess." Sebastian smiled.
Grell stared at him, lovingly.
"Where are you guys heading out to?" Cassandra asked Sebastian and Ciel.
"We're picking up a few orders in the city." Sebastian told her and the two left.
Mey-rin began to clean around the manor and Cassandra helped her while Finny took Grell out to help him with the gardening by trimming the hedges. Cassandra decided that it was time for a break and stepped outside to see the Grell and Baldroy talking to each other. Baldroy was sitting on the grass taking a break.
"Hey, whatcha guys talking about?" Cassandra asked, walking over to them.
"I was talking about the Funtom Company that young master has. To be able to run it all by himself. I'm surprised by how rapidly it was grown in the last three years. And how large the estate is. The manor is quite magnificent, isn't it?" Grell told her.
"Come to think of it, it's only been around for about two years now." Baldroy spoke.
"Two years? But it doesn't look like it." Grell questioned.
"That was the intention." Grell screamed and quickly turned around startled to see Tanaka behind him.
"This manor is specifically built to be the exact replica of the previous one. Every detail is the same."
"Identical?" Grell asked.
"The original Phantomhive manor burned down three years ago. The entire estate was engulfed in flames. It was a great tragedy."
"I see. Um, forgive me for asking, but Master Ciel's parents are they..." Grell paused. Tanaka nodded, sadly.
"Yes. Sadly, they both perished in the fire."
"How terrible. That poor boy." Grell spoke. Suddenly, there was a loud pop and Tanaka began to shrink down until he was chibi sized.
"Oh no! Tanaka!" Grell cried out, unsure of what to do.
"He does this from time to time." Cassandra told him, assuring Grell.
"His energy is way below a normal person's. Being "real" Tanaka exhausts him. He just needs to rest for a while." Baldroy explained. Then Mey- rin let out a startled scream. Cassandra, Grell, Baldroy turned their heads, and they were shocked and surprised as well. Every single bush and hedge were shaped into skulls. Cassandra stared at them, impressed.
"Why are they all skulls!?" Baldroy exclaimed.
"No! Not again! I've made yet another unacceptable mistake!" Grell shouted.
"I'd say it's an improvement." Cassandra smiled.
"You're crazy!" Baldroy shouted at her.
"I can't accept it! I can't go on any longer!" Grell shouted and he ran up a ladder, grabbing a rope about to hang himself with it. Baldroy, Finny and Mey-rin quickly ran over trying to stop him.
"Quit trying to die all the time!" Baldroy shouted at him. Then the ladder was suddenly pulled from underneath Grell, now choking from the rope as it began to strangle him.
"Grell!" The three Phantomhive servants cried out. Cassandra ran over and grabbed onto Grell's legs who squeaked in shock, as Cassandra supported them over her shoulders, holding Grell up so he wouldn't get hanged.
"What the hell!?" Cassandra looked down to see a girl with emerald-colored eyes, wavy, curly blond hair in pigtails wearing a orange and white ruffled sleeved dress. Her eyes twitched in annoyance.
"Not you."
The girl smiled sweetly and reached out, grabbing Cassandra by the hem of her dress.
"I'm going to make you all wonderfully beautiful!"
Screams filled the air until they went deadly silent. A couple of minutes went by and Sebastian and Ciel came back from their shopping trip. As they stepped inside the manor, their eyes widened in shock and in horror to find the entire estate in pink decorations, hearts, ribbons, stuffed animals, glitter and stickers all over the walls.
"M-My mansion!" Ciel cried out.
"What happened to this place? Why it's a disaster!" Sebastian wondered as well. Finny, Baldroy, Mey-rin came running out of a room screaming, heading straight towards them, wearing costumes.
"What's happened here and why on earth are you all dressed like lunatics?"
"She's crazy!" Baldroy cried out pointing towards the room they came out of.
"Who is crazy?" Ciel asked before noticing that Cassandra wasn't with them. "And where's Cassandra? Where's Grell?" He questioned.
"I believe I am in the process of dying Master Ciel." The two heard him croak out weakly in the other room and walked in to see Grell hanging from the ceiling.
"Get him down from there." Ciel ordered Sebastian. Sebastian walked over untying Grell down. Suddenly, a yellow flash rushed past Sebastian heading towards Ciel.
"Ciel! I missed you so much!" the young girl screamed overjoyed spinning him around like a rag doll.
"Elizabeth!? What a surprise..." Ciel asked a little dizzy.
"How many times do I have to tell you to just call me Lizzie! You really are just the cutest thing ever, aren't you, darling boy!" She began hugging Ciel tightly.
"Lady Elizabeth." Sebastian greeted her.
"Hello, Sebastian!" Lizzie turned to him, smiling, before she frowned a little in disappointment. "Oh, you took down him down?"
"Yes. He detracted from the beauty of the room." He smiled.
"But I made such a lovely decoration out of him."
"A decoration?" Sebastian questioned.
"Just look at it. Isn't it wonderful!" She smiled. Then Lizzie suddenly placed a bonnet on Sebastian's head. The three Phantomhive servants snickered as they covered their mouths, barely able to contain their laughter, while Sebastian glared dangerously at them. Sebastian looked back to Lizzie.
"May I ask, where is Cassandra?" He asked her.
"Oh, that ugly thing. She disagreed with me and refused to wear any of the outfits that I picked out for her, so I had no choice but to toss her out. A person like her has no place at the ball that were going to have tonight!" Lizzie smiled. Ciel's eyes widen and so did Sebastian's.
"Sebastian, go and find her." Ciel told his butler. Sebastian nodded and placed Grell down and left the room. Lizzie blinked confused.
"Um, where are you going?" She asked Sebastian.
"Cassandra is a guest staying here. She will be treated as such as long as she lives in my manor." Ciel told her.
"But she was awful! I don't want her at my party! She'll ruin it!" Lizzie whined.
"Cassandra's family has been friends with my parents for a long time. We all grew up together when we were little. We were friends." Ciel told her.
"Fine. If it'll make you happy." Lizzie pouted.
Sebastian began to look around outside, trying to find Cassandra. Maybe, she had left. It was starting to get a little dark as well. He decided to check the garden and he finally saw her up ahead kneeling on the ground and walked over.
"Cassandra, my master has sent me to fetch you. He would like for you to come back." He smiled, bowing to her. Cassandra turned around, smiling, holding a black cat in her arms.
"Hey, Sebastian, I found a little kitty friend!" She told him. Sebastian covered his mouth, his cheeks turning a little red as he blushed, seeing the cat. The cat was crying out a little, squirming her arms, clawing at her dress, desperately trying to escape. It finally managed to get free and hopped out of Cassandra's arms, running away.
"No! Aw, they got away." Cassandra sighed before looking at Sebastian. "You said that you're here for me?" Sebastian nodded.
"My master wishes for you to come back. There is going to be a ball tonight. It would be a shame if you weren't there."
"Okay, but I don't know if I can tolerate that girl." Cassandra told Sebastian.
"It is only for the night. Just try to bear with it." He told her and held out his hand. "Shall we go?"
Cassandra took it and stood up and the two walked back to the manor.
