The lights of the carnival midway flashed and twinkled as Anna and Kristoff walked along. The games and rides each blared their competing noises, and the smells were a little overwhelming. She was glad she had been too nervous to eat dinner earlier.

Anna wasn't sure how long they'd been holding hands, but it just felt natural now. A crowd of teenagers was walking toward them, so Anna and Kristoff moved off to one side, suddenly finding a quiet corner away from the crowds.

Kristoff stopped. "So…" he said, nervously rubbing his neck.

Anna took her chance, and kissed him.
