Chapter 2
Luffy woke up from his drugged sleep and felt a little better. His body didn't feel as hot and the aching was bearable now. He wished he knew what time of day it was. With no window, he couldn't see anything. But since he was feeling better, he thought to get up and walk around a bit. Sitting up hurt and he let out a hiss of pain. He waited for some of the pain to subside before throwing his legs over the edge of the bed. Using the end table as leverage, he slowly stood up. His knees wobbled a bit but he was able to stand, hunched over just a little bit. He took a cautious step forward, placing weight on his foot to see if it would hold. There was slight pain, but he was able to stand.
He took careful steps as he walked around the room. There was nothing of interest and the room was scarce of furniture. He went and stood by the fire, holding his bandaged hands out to warm them. Then, he thought about Law, the demon that tended to him. Law didn't talk much, but he was kind enough to take care of him. He looked at the bandages on his arms and on his chest. They really beat him up good. It was the loss of his wings that crippled him and they were able to abuse him. Law patched him up. The demon couldn't be all that bad.
But his legs were starting to ache and he felt dizzy. Walking around in this state was exhausting, and he was used to be highly energetic. He returned to the bed and stared up at the ceiling. He was a prisoner of war, but he was certain his friends would come and rescue him if he didn't make it out himself first. He can't return to the Celestial Realm until he gets his wings back. But who has his wings? Where did they go? He reached a hand around his back to feel the bandaged nubs. He felt a wave of sadness wash over him. Without wings, he couldn't fly, and he loved the freedom that flying brings. There were so many things to see and explore when you can fly. He had to get his wings back!
Luffy heard a sound from the door and he turned to see the doorknob jiggling, then the sound of a lock. The door pushed open and it was the demon, Law, who entered. He had a tray of food in one hand and a large bag in the other. Law gave him a hard, icy look.
"Why are you out of bed?" Law demanded.
"I…I just want to walk around a bit,"
"You could have opened up some of your wounds!"
"I was getting bored!" Luffy whined.
"Don't act like a child," Law scolded. "Get back into bed and stay there, or I'll take your dinner away,"
So, it was evening time, Luffy realized. His stomach rumbled and he was hungry for the food. He did as he was told and limped back to the bed, eagerly awaiting his food. Law placed the tray in his lap and Luffy looked at the food curiously. There were more vegetables and fruit than meat. He loved meat! But it probably wasn't smart to demand the food he wanted. Luffy used his fork to poke at the vegetables, they were all black, brown, or orange. The fruit was red, and others purple. The meat was cooked, though he wasn't sure what it could be.
"I know it doesn't look appetizing," Law started, sitting on the chair and crossing his arms. "But it's a medical meal. I mixed vegetables and fruits to help build up strength. The meat will also give you strength, but I added medicine to it, so it might taste a little…nasty."
"What kind of medicine?" Luffy asked.
"It's to help keep away infection,"
Luffy was still starving, so he set to eating the food. The vegetables tasted okay, and the fruit was more tangy than sweet. The meat did have a funny taste to it, but it was still good. The Demon Realm had different kinds of food than the Celestial Realm. All his vegetables and fruits were large and colorful, especially the golden apples. Demons have always wanted to get their hands on golden apples for they are said to give power to the one who eats it. Only certain ranks of angels were allowed to eat the golden apples, but he could have all the rainbow apples he wanted! This wasn't a cheery place.
He felt all the food in his empty belly and he let out a heavy sigh, patting it.
"That was yummy for medicine!"
"Drink your beast milk," Law reminded him. "I have healing herbs in it. You'll be drinking this three times a day."
Luffy held the cup with both hands and drank the beast milk. He didn't mind the herbs in it, though he preferred sky cow milk.
Law took the tray away and set it on the end table. "Now I'm going to mix you another sleeping potion. Afterward, we'll take off the bandages and put on new ones."
Law mixed the potion elements and placed them in a cup of water, which he gave to Luffy. The angel made a face at the taste, but Law warned he had better drink all of it. He reached into his bag and pulled out rolls of bandages and salve. He started with Luffy's left arm, gently unraveling the bandage. Remnants of the salve were present, but the wounds on Luffy's arm looked good, even if they were a little swollen where the skin experienced trauma. The same went for the other arm, then he moved to Luffy's chest, unwrapping it. Law held his breath for a moment as he realized he was, in a way, stripping Luffy naked. He ignored the thought and set to work.
Luffy's chest was heavily scarred with a thick, bloodied 'X' that would scar that way. It was the worst of the wounds. Then, he checked Luffy's back, looking at each whip mark. There had to be at least fifteen, maybe twenty. Law's eyes landed on the bloody nubs of where Luffy's wings had once been. He felt his own wings twitch, imagining what it would feel like to lose them. A demon was nothing without its wings, and the same goes for the angels. A part of him wanted to get Luffy's wings back, but that would mean approaching Doflamingo, and that bastard of a demon would not just hand them over.
Rubbing more healing salve on all the wounds, Law bandaged him again, pleased with how well the wounds were healing.
"You have a gentle touch," Luffy said.
It's because I'm a doctor," Law replied. "I need to be mindful and careful of what I do and how I do it,"
Luffy let Law bandage him up and Luffy looked down at his bandaged hands and arms. He used to be so strong, but what happened? Could all that cruelty and abuse make him weak? How long will he take to heal? He was already feeling better, but there was still a lot of pain. Less than before, but he wished the pain would go away so he could figure a way out of there.
"Will I heal soon?" Luffy asked him.
"Time will tell," Law replied. "But based on the extent of your wounds, you'll be bedridden for some time." Law's breath caught in his throat when Luffy turned those big, innocent brown eyes.
"What's going to become of me when I get better?"
Law sighed heavily. "Once you are healed, I'm to give you to my master, Donquixote Doflamingo. He is a strong and powerful demon, and he wants to have you. I'm to get you healed up and then sent to him." He watched Luffy stiffen his shoulders.
"Then what's to become of me there?"
Law gave him a hard look. "I won't lie to you, but Doflamingo wants to possess an angel, and that's what you are. He has your wings and is using them as a trophy for your defeat. He'll make you into a slave, forced to do harsh labor, or he'll make you a pleasure slave." Law watched Luffy's innocent head tilt to the side in confusion.
"What's the difference between a slave and a pleasure slave?"
Law clenched his eyes shut. Telling the truth to Luffy felt dirty like he was corrupting him. He figured it was best to just tell Luffy outright.
"A slave means you do hard labor for no pay, and you have no rights as a person or a living being. A pleasure slave is..."
Law had no idea how to explain it because Luffy had no prior knowledge of the basics. The easiest way was to show him, and he hadn't laid hands on another male in a long while. But Luffy wasn't a regular male, he was an angel, their sworn enemy, and yet totally innocent in the ways of pleasure. Law swallowed hard as he realized how much he wanted to teach Luffy about pleasure. Dominating an angel appealed to him. Luffy was his enemy, and yet the angel was still clueless.
"Get up and turn around," Law demanded.
"Why?"
"Just do it," he helped Luffy out of bed and turned him so his back was towards him.
He came up from behind and slid his arms around Luffy, one hand on Luffy's chest, and the other on his belly. He felt Luffy stiffen in his arms. He was gentle, mindful of Luffy's wounds as his hands began to stroke Luffy's body. His right hand focused on Luffy's chest, passing his palm over erect nipples that poked through the bandages. His left hand traveled down to Luffy's lower belly, where he stroked and teased Luffy's flesh. Luffy was starting to pant and Law could tell he was feeling pleasure. Law loved the idea of having an angel under him, thrusting wildly into that celestial body before anyone else. The pants Luffy wore were loose fitting, so he let his hand slide past the hem, moving closer to his groin.
"What are you doing?" Luffy asked breathlessly.
"Showing you what a pleasure slave is," Law replied, pinching a pert nipple beneath the bandage and letting his left hand stop at Luffy's groin, just above the patch of hair. He let his fingers caress the crease between groin and thigh. Luffy let out a little sigh, and Law could tell he was enjoying it. He then imagined Luffy's celestial body writhing underneath him and glowing bright with sexual pleasure as he thrust into him over and over again. He would trap Luffy in his wings so the angel could focus on nothing but him and his pleasure. He let his hand slide further down Luffy's thigh and that's when Luffy swung around and shoved him. Luffy almost stumbled backward but caught himself. He was not expecting that reaction. Luffy's brown eyes were alight with fury and he wore a slight blush across his cheeks.
"Don't touch me like that again," Luffy warned him. "I'm not supposed to...do that sort of thing,"
Law crossed his arms. "Do you have any idea what that means?"
"I'm not supposed to be with another person," Luffy said. "I'm a warrior, not...a pleasure slave,"
"Well, I have bad news for you; that's what Doflamingo is going to do with you when you're healed. I was just showing you what to expect, and I was gentle about it. You're a prisoner of war, and Doflamingo will not go easy on you. He has your wings, and he'll want you too."
"Traffy, are you really going to hand me over to this guy?"
"When you are healed, yes. I have to. He's a demon warlord and he's...my master," Law sneered. "Though I wish things were different."
"I don't want to go there, I want to go home I-" He cut himself off because he remembered he would need wings to get back to the Celestial Realm.
"You're a prisoner of war," Law reminded him. "You have no rights and cannot make choices." Law reared back a bit when he saw Luffy's hard glare. That innocent face suddenly became hard and cold. There was an iron will of strength behind those eyes. But then, Luffy suddenly became unsteady on his feet, nearly falling backward. Law quickly caught him, then scooped him up in his arms. "Back to bed with you,"
Law carried him back to the bed and pulled the covers up. Luffy was trying to glare but he closed his eyes instead. Law felt his forehead and could feel he was burning up. The fever wasn't fully gone yet. Law set to work mixing a tonic that will help to bring down the fever. He put it in some water and helped Luffy drink it down. Luffy made a face at the taste but he didn't say anything.
Law went to the fireplace and threw more logs onto it. He would need to have more sent up. He went back over to the bed and he heard Luffy's labored breathing. The fever was heightened, and now it was in full swing. Slightly annoyed, he realized he would have to stay with Luffy, giving him more tonics throughout the night while he waited for the fever to come down. There must be an infection somewhere that he missed. It was going to be a long night.
It was hard not to doze off sitting in the chair and doing nothing but watching Luffy. He would take a cloth and pat away the beads of sweat from Luffy's brow. Luffy's cheeks were still pink and his breathing was labored. Sleeping and taking the tonics would be the best thing for him. He didn't want to know what Doflamingo would do to him should he fail at keeping Luffy alive.
There wasn't much for him to do then stare at Luffy. The man had a youthful face, though Law believed he was older, maybe a little younger than himself, but not by much. Luffy's body had a lithe form to it but still had muscles, giving him a more athletic look than a burly one. Law had to wonder, how could someone slay demons and yet still be so innocent in other ways. When he was stroking Luffy's body, he felt the man shiver slightly. Luffy was probably never touched by that. This only proved to Law that he really didn't know much about angels. His duty was to slaughter them, as was the duty of all demonkind. Angels did the same thing. They've been enemies for an eternity.
Luffy suddenly moaned and Law snapped out of his thoughts. He felt Luffy's forehead, and it was still hot. Luffy's brows were furrowed in distress, and Law realized he was having a nightmare or even a hallucination. Luffy's body tossed and turned until Law had to hold his shoulders down to keep from reopening the wounds. Luffy's struggles ended quickly, and he went back to sleep. Law sighed and quickly checked the bandages to make sure no blood was coming through. All was clear. He made another tonic and helped Luffy to drink it all. Then, he returned to wiping Luffy's brow.
The night went on with Luffy still battling the fever, and Law was finding it hard to hold his head up. He kept dozing off, but he had to stay awake. Luffy's fever could become worse any minute. The tonic should help to keep it from getting worse. He continued to wipe Luffy's brow. After a while, he made another tonic and gave it to Luffy, who was still asleep through all of it. Then, Luffy started making some sounds. Law moved his head closer to listen. Luffy was saying names.
"Zoro…Sanji…everyone…" Luffy was talking in his sleep. Law figured those were angels he knew, and was likely having a fever dream about them.
Law stayed with him the rest of the night, eventually falling asleep in the chair.
Law wasn't sure how long he slept, but he was startled awake by a knock at the door. He looked to the bed to see that Luffy was still sleeping. He got up and answered it, finding a servant there.
"Sir Law…Lord D-Doflamingo is here. He wants to see you,"
Now Law was wide awake. Doflamingo was here? He probably came to check on Luffy. Law dismissed the servant and locked the door behind him. He hated being anywhere near Doflamingo, but he was trapped as one of his men. Fortunately, Doflamingo had given him some freedom by letting him have his own castle and staff. He didn't have to listen to anyone other than Doflamingo. And now the demon was here.
Law entered the main hall where Doflamingo was standing, waiting impatiently. Doflamingo was massive and towering, a powerful demon worthy of the title of Lord. His short, blond spiky hair and strange eyewear is what made him stand out. His wings were folded behind him, which were very long and big. His pink tail had a jagged spade shape at the end. Bright red ram horns protruded from the sides of his head. Doflamingo's grin was both diabolic and mischievous.
"How's my little angel coming along?" Doflamingo asked.
"He's in very bad shape and is healing slowly," Law replied. "I'm keeping a close watch on him."
"I'm getting impatient waiting," Doflamingo's tone held a hint of danger.
"He was tortured to the point of death," Law said. "You should punish the demons that did all that to him,"
"Hm. Perhaps you're right. I may just do that later. Now show me to the angel, I want to see him."
Law didn't want Doflamingo anywhere near Luffy, but he knew he didn't have a choice. He led Doflamingo to the top tower and unlocked the door. He pushed it open and stepped inside with Doflamingo right behind him. Law could easily sense the dangerous looming presence behind him.
"He's still sleeping and has a fever," Law said, watching as Doflamingo went over to the bed. A moment of panic came over Law as he wanted to protect and possess Luffy.
"They beat him to a pulp, it would seem,"
"It took a long time to bandage every wound," Law replied. "He has a long road to recovery." Doflamingo turned to look at him.
"But I'm sure you can nurse him back to health, right? I have a special cage being made to house my angel. He'll be like a little bird with clipped wings."
'He's not your angel,' Law thought silently to himself.
"Keep watch over him and don't let him die," Doflamingo walked over to him, looming over Law. "I won't be happy if he dies,"
Law nodded. "I'll make sure he gets healthy."
"I'll see myself out."
Law was glad when Doflamingo left and let out a sigh of relief. He went over to the bed to check on Luffy. He seemed to be sleeping more peacefully than before. Law felt his forehead and it wasn't as hot. The tonic was working, and Luffy was due for another one. He mixed the tonic and gave it to him, then took his seat beside the bed.
He thought about Doflamingo taking Luffy and putting him in a cage. It's as he thought, Doflamingo would make Luffy a slave. But what was that possessive feeling he had when Doflamingo called Luffy 'my angel?' The thought angered him. Then, he thought back to when he was caressing Luffy's body. He was likely the only one ever to touch Luffy like that. Luffy seemed a little stunned and confused when he was doing it. If Luffy hadn't stopped him, he might have wanted for more. He didn't really care for sex most of the time. He was too focused on studying medicine and slaying angels.
But the sudden attraction to Luffy baffled him. He barely knew the angel, they had only just met a few days ago. Yet there was something about Luffy that drew him towards him. Law wanted Luffy to stay with him, not go to live with Doflamingo. That bastard demon would tear Luffy apart and break his spirit. He wanted Luffy to stay with him. Law dragged a hand down his face; he shouldn't be feeling this way. But his thoughts kept going back to Luffy underneath him, face flushed with virgin embarrassment and making sounds of first-time pleasure. Law really wanted to see the glow that angels had. It was taboo for an angel and a demon to be together, but that made it all the more intriguing.
Luffy suddenly moaned and it caught Law's attention. Hazy brown eyes slowly opened to look at him.
"Traffy…?"
"How are you feeling?"
"I still feel hot and cold at the same time." His stomach rumbled. "And I'm hungry,"
"I already put in for you to have some stew and bread. It should be here soon. I'm going to mix another type of medicine to help with the fever, even though it's almost gone. I'll mix it into the stew when it comes. Just keep resting."
Luffy couldn't get over how kind and gentle Traffy was to him, an angel. They were sworn enemies, but he never really saw a difference between them other than physical features. Luffy always knew there had to be good demons out there somewhere, just like there were bad angels. Traffy is one of the good ones.
He didn't know what Traffy had been doing before when he was standing. Traffy's hands were caressing him, but why? It didn't feel bad, but it felt good. He wasn't supposed to touch someone other than to give them a hug. He hugged his friends all the time but that touch was different from what Traffy did. Luffy actually wanted to feel Traffy's hands again. Did that have something to do with the sex Traffy spoke about?
"Alright, drink this," Law handed him a vial. "All of it. It's going to taste terrible, but you have to drink it all down."
Luffy nodded and held the vial with his thumb and forefinger, which were the easiest to operate with his bandaged hand. He drank the nasty, chalking liquid and literally felt it pool in his stomach. He stuck his tongue out and made a noise of disgust.
"Traffy, I want to get up and walk around a bit."
"It's best you keep yourself in bed,"
"But I want to! Just for a little bit. Please?"
Law sighed, defeated by Luffy's pleading eyes. "Fine. Stand up then."
Luffy slowly got out of bed and onto his feet. His legs wobbled a little, but he was able to stand.
"I'll walk behind you," Law said, following close.
It felt good to walk around and Luffy circled the room twice. He was able to stretch his legs and crack his back. His body was hurting from all the movement but he didn't care. Getting up and moving around was important to him. Sitting or laying still for long periods of time were not his strong points. But he must have been doing too much because one of his knees gave out and he stumbled forward. Before he could hit the stone floor, Traffy caught him from behind. Traffy's arms were wrapped around his waist, and Luffy felt himself blush a little.
"That's enough moving around," Law said with an authoritarian tone.
Luffy didn't complain, planning to walk back to the bed himself but he was suddenly scooped up in Traffy's arms. He flushed again, feeling odd with every touch from Traffy. He was carried over to the bed and placed gently upon it. Traffy covered him up and for a moment, Luffy felt like a child again. He watched as Traffy made another sleeping tonic but Luffy didn't want one, saying he was tired of sleeping. He was feeling dizzy, and his body still ached. But Traffy wouldn't listen and he was forced to drink the tonic.
"I'll wait here until you fall asleep," Law said. "I don't trust you not to get up and walk around."
"I'm not a kid, you know." Luffy replied.
"How old are you anyway?"
"Nineteen. What about you?"
"Twenty six. I'm older than you, which means I have the authority, and I say it's time to go to sleep."
Luffy pouted but he didn't protest. The bed was comfortable, and all that walking around did make his legs feel sore, but it was worth it to move around. The sleep tonic Traffy gave him had already started working because he was feeling very sleepy. He rolled over onto his belly and closed his eyes. Soon, he was asleep.
Luffy dreamed he was back home in the Celestial Realm with his friends. He was sitting on a water bank with Zoro and Sanji. They told him that they were now a couple, and that they hoped he didn't mind. Luffy didn't mind, of course, because they were his friends. However, he was a little upset that Zoro had feelings for Sanji and not him. He smiled like always, congratulating them even though he felt a little envious. He was happy for them, but it also hurt.
Luffy woke up from the memory and he was filled with sadness. He couldn't have Zoro, but that was okay. He always wanted Zoro and Sanji as his friends. They should realize he is missing by now and are thinking of ways to save him. He didn't have much time to think about these things while healing, but he was getting a little better. He then noticed that Traffy was asleep on the chair, his arms and legs crossed.
He looked at Traffy's face, studying it. Traffy was handsome, with strong facial features and dark hair. He was well built with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. He was tall too. Probably about the same height as Zoro. He thought back to Traffy's hands on him and he felt a strange little sensation tickle his lower belly. He had never felt it before. Even his nipples got hard, but he wasn't cold. What were these strange feelings? They were making his body feel weird. But he shouldn't focus on those feelings. He needs to heal up quickly so he can get his wings back. Soon, he will be strong again and he'll be able to fight the demons and rejoin the Celestial Realm.
