Chapter 3
Law had taken a break from watching over Luffy and sat in his medical room, writing in his doctors' journal. He was currently writing notes on Luffy and angels. He concluded that the herbs which grow in the demon realm have a positive effect on angels. He wondered if the flora that grows in the Celestial Realm would have positive effects on demons. He wrote that down in his journal with a question mark next to it. There was a long time rumor about the Golden Apples in the Celestial Realm. The apples could cure any illness. He also wrote that down with a question mark. He would have to ask Luffy about the apples. They had nothing like Golden Apples in the demon realm, and more demons die from sickness than they do being slaughtered by angels. Law wanted to somehow get his hands on those Golden Apples.
It was time to check on Luffy anyway, so he went to see him and brought his journal. He had a few questions to ask Luffy, if the angel was awake. He stopped at the kitchen to have them prepare some meat stew for Luffy, then went to the room. He unlocked the door and stepped inside, seeing Luffy lying in the bed. But Luffy slowly sat up when he heard him come in.
"How are you feeling?" Law asked.
"I still hurt a lot," Luffy said, looking at his bandaged arms. "But not as bad as before."
"Have you had any strange feelings after taking any of the medicine I gave you?"
Luffy blinked at him. "No?"
Law nodded, writing it down.
"What are you writing?" Luffy asked, growing curious.
"I'm taking down notes of the differences between angels and demons. According to my notes, your angel body reacts well to the herbs and plants we have in this realm. I have some more herbal mixtures I would like to try on you and see how you react to them. I'm currently working on a stronger salve for wounds, as well as an herbal mixture to raise energy levels." Luffy was just staring at him. Law frowned, realizing he was rambling, and it looked like Luffy's mind was elsewhere.
"I'm bored in here," Luffy said. "I want to go outside,"
"You're not ready for that yet," Law said. "But tomorrow, I think a bath in the hot springs will be beneficial to your wounds."
"Traffy, I'm hungry,"
"I'm having stew brought up to you. Be patient,"
"Ugh, I'm so borrred!" Luffy whined and flopped back on the bed, which was a mistake as he hurt his back. "Ow!"
"There. Lesson learned," Law scolded. "You still shouldn't be moving around too much. If you're bored, I'll bring you some books to read,"
"Blah! I hate reading!"
Law sighed. "Then what else do you do?"
"I fight and train and play outside- I like to do lots of fun things outside!" He said with a big grin. "Running, climbing, fishing, all that stuff!"
Law wasn't surprised at all to learn that Luffy was a playful person. There wasn't much Luffy could do right now other than rest his body. He would have to make the sleeping tonic stronger to keep Luffy from moving around and opening his wounds.
"Hey, Traffy? Can I feel your wings?"
Law gave him a look. "Feel my wings? Why?"
"I just want to feel them. They look slimy,"
Law was slightly offended, but didn't show it. "Fine." He unfolded his wings and stood close to the bed. Luffy could only use the tips of his fingers to feel. Law shivered a little when Luffy touched it, stroking the surface.
"It's not slimy at all," Luffy said. "It's kind of soft," He looked up at Law. "Can I feel your horns and your tail?"
Law felt himself blush a little at Luffy's request. He wasn't used to people touching him, but oddly enough, for Luffy, he would make an exception. He lowered his head so Luffy could touch his horns. Luffy grabbed them both, stroking them up and down. Luffy got too close to the base of his horns, which was an erogenous spot for him, so he pulled away. The last thing he needed was to become aroused. Then, Luffy asked if he could touch his tail. He lifted it to lay in Luffy's lap, watching the angel stroke it with the tips of his fingers.
"You have lots of spots on you. Are you a weird demon?"
Law pulled his tail away. "I do have spots, I was born this way. It's not 'weird' but it is unusual for a demon."
"Are you a fighter too, or just a doctor?"
"I fight when it's necessary," Law said. "And I'm damn good at it,"
"I'll have to fight you sometime," Luffy grinned. "I bet you're really strong!"
Law didn't boast, but he liked hearing it. "There is something else I need to ask you. It's about those Golden Apples in the Celestial Realm,"
"What about them? I always wanted to try one because they look so yummy, but they're only for the noble angels, not me."
"Is it true that they can heal any illness?"
"I don't know. I haven't seen it happen. I thought you demons wanted them because you think they give you powers?"
Law nodded. "I've heard that too, but I don't know how much I believe it. Curing any ailment seems much more likely."
There was a knock on the door and it was the stew. Law took it and placed the tray on the end table. He added in a pain reliever and sleeping powder. He gave the tray to Luffy who immediately started eating the stew. Or rather, gobbling it up with loud slurps. He drank down the beast milk and tore at the bread. Some of the beast milk dribbled from the corner of Luffy's mouth and the light color of it reminded him of something else. He grit his teeth when he felt his cheeks flush at the dirty thought, and Luffy had absolutely no idea what it even was, or what he was thinking.
"I'm still hungry!" Luffy whined and showed Law the empty bowl.
"You're not ready for so much food yet," Law told him, taking the bowl away. "You don't seem to understand the level of trauma your body has gone through."
"I know I still hurt, but I'm still hungry too," he said with a yawn, then rubbed his eyes.
Law smirked. Luffy was getting tired already. The extra dose of sleeping powder is working its magic quickly. He said nothing as Luffy settled back into bed and appeared to already be sound asleep. Law pulled the covers up over Luffy's shoulder. Luffy would be out of it for a long while, so he left the room and locked the door.
"Guess I should start making those experimental tonics," He said out loud to no one.
The next day, Law got up early and went to check on Luffy. He unlocked the door and went inside to see Luffy still asleep. They had to go to the hot springs, so he would have to wake him up. He shook Luffy's shoulder and the angel rolled over onto his back but didn't wake up. Law tapped Luffy's cheek, telling him to wake up. Luffy was still snoring softly and drooling. Maybe he had given Luffy a bit too much sleeping medicine. Finally, with one more shake, Luffy opened his eyes.
"Took you long enough to wake up," Law said.
Luffy rubbed his eyes. "I think I was sleeping for a long time,"
"We're going to the hot springs in the mountains. I got my medical bag, which I'm going to ask you to hold while I fly us there,"
"I can't wait to see something different than these stupid walls!" Luffy said, sitting up and excited about getting to go outside. He moved around too much and it hurt his body. He was getting tired of being in pain all the time, but at least it's bearable now.
Law lifted Luffy easily from the bed and they exited the room. Luffy was looking all around at the new surroundings. Law brought them to a balcony where they took off into the air.
Luffy liked the feeling of being in Traffy's arms. He wasn't used to being carried, though. Traffy's wings were wide and they flapped silently. His wings often made noise when he flew. He really did miss flying. He could still move the stumps where his wings had been and he was sadly reminded of them being gone.
He took a look around the Demon Realm as they flew, having never seen it before. All battles were fought in the neutral territory between the two realms. The sky wasn't blue like his world. The sky here was red and there were no clouds. The tree tops were green, though, but with black trunks. They flew over a pond, a few cities, and finally to the mountains. Luffy wondered how anyone could live here; it was so dark and almost…depressing.
Law flew them to the hot springs and was relieved that no one else was present. He sat Luffy down on a rock and started to unwrap the bandages, starting with the hands. In a way, it was like he was stripping Luffy. The angel only had on a pair of loose-fitting pants. He removed the bandages from the chest and back, being mindful of the wing nubs. He removed the rest of the bandages and made sure he was looking anywhere but Luffy's naked body.
"I can get in myself," Luffy said.
"Just be careful. It can be slippery,"
Law turned his back to give Luffy privacy, and to keep himself from getting excited. He had already seen the angel naked, but after being with Luffy for a couple of days, seeing him naked felt different this time. Behind him, he could hear Luffy getting in the water. Luffy made gasping sounds and could be heard hissing. Law knew it was the wounds touching the hot water. Cautiously, he turned his head and saw that Luffy was in the water up to his neck.
"Are you coming in too?" Luffy asked.
"M-me? I wasn't planning on it,"
"But this thing is huge! There's room for you. Don't just stand there the whole time, that's boring,"
"Sitting in a hot spring is boring as well," the thought of a hot soak did sound appealing. Law decided to join Luffy in the hot spring. He also wanted to get Luffy's reaction to seeing him naked.
Luffy's body pain did ease with the hot water, even though it stung at first. He was glad that Traffy would be joining him. For some reason, he was oddly curious to see Traffy's body. He didn't know why, but he watched the demon undress. He has gone swimming with his friends naked, but seeing Traffy naked felt different. Traffy had a lot of black tattoos all over his skin. Beneath those tattoos were hard, solid muscles. Then, he got that funny tingle again in his lower belly when he looked at Traffy's groin. He felt his cheeks flush but brushed it off as the heat from the water.
He couldn't understand why he was having strange feelings for Traffy. Traffy was a demon, someone he was supposed to fight. He had fought against many demons, but he had never killed one. He would maim them, but never kill them. Demons weren't courteous like that, though. Demons loved slaying angels. But Traffy was different from other demons. He could see himself being friends with Traffy, although it was likely that Traffy wouldn't want his friendship. He'd have to work on that while he was here.
Law could feel Luffy staring at him and he couldn't help but smirk. He got into the water opposite of Luffy. The hot water soothed his muscles and he let out a sigh, letting his head fall back. He closed his eyes, taking in the heat of the spring, letting his whole body relax. Suddenly, he heard movement in the water and he opened his eyes and saw Luffy in front of him. Their noses are almost touching.
Law didn't move, nor did Luffy. The angel was kneeling between his legs and that broke Law from the trance he was in. When did Luffy get so close?
"Get back on your side!" Law demanded.
"I just want to feel your tattoos," Luffy replied.
"Why?"
"I've never seen so many before," Luffy lifted his right hand from the water and started to trace the large black heart shape on Traffy's chest.
Law sat perfectly still, willing himself not to get an erection. Luffy kept touching and tracing his tattoos. He should just shove him away, but he found he didn't mind Luffy's touch. The angel just seemed to be curious and nothing else. But this couldn't go on, or he would be doing more than just lounging in a hot spring.
"Let me see your wounds," Law said, urging Luffy to turn around. Luffy did so, and Law looked at the whip marks. They were still red and the skin around the marks were swollen. These had to hurt, and yet Luffy wasn't showing any sign of discomfort. "Don't these hurt?"
"Yeah, they do, but I can handle it. The pain is much easier now than it was before. I'm okay,"
'Please take your time healing,' Law said to himself. 'I don't want to hand you over to Doflamingo!'
He reached out and gently wrapped his arm around Luffy's waist, pulling the angel close to him. Luffy pulled back a little to look at him curiously. He should let Luffy go, but he didn't want to. His lust was growing, and he imagined himself taking Luffy's innocence right here. He wanted to trace his forked tongue along Luffy's body and thrust inside that obvious tight heat, taking his pleasure. Luffy would make wonderful sounds. But he couldn't. He wasn't that type of demon. He let Luffy go.
"Why did you let go?" Luffy asked. "I like hugs!" He grinned and threw himself into Traffy, locking his arms and legs around the other. There was pain, of course, but he was better at dealing with it.
"No, get off! We need to get out. We've been in for too long,"
"But you just got in!" Luffy protested. "And the water is making my wounds feel better. Can't we stay a little longer? I don't want to go back to that room yet!"
Law found he couldn't resist the sweet face and wide brown eyes. He grit his teeth, annoyed at himself for feeling this way. What would happen if he just reached out and kissed Luffy? Luffy's probably never had a kiss before. It was so bizarre to see someone so innocent. But Luffy said he likes to train and fight, and with the muscles that he has, Law knew it to be true. He didn't doubt that Luffy was a strong fighter, but that sexual naivety was strange. Alluring, yes. But strange.
"Fine. We can stay a little longer,"
"Yeah!"
Law wasn't expecting Luffy to sit between his legs and rest his wounded back on his chest! Luffy was baffling him to the point of annoyance. They were enemies, and Luffy is a prisoner of war. And yet, he's acting like they're best friends and he hasn't appeared nervous or fearful at all. What a strange person Luffy is, Law thought. However, at the same time, he was taking care of Luffy, not hurting him. He didn't want to think of what horrible things Doflamingo would put Luffy through. He growled at the thought, and that's when Luffy glanced up at him and grinned. Law's heart skipped a beat.
'Damn this guy! I should give him a beating as well!' But he wouldn't do that. Also, he was getting too turned on by Luffy's ass so close to his groin. "You have to move," Law demanded.
"Huh? Why?"
"I'm getting…overheated. Go back to your spot,"
"Oh, okay."
Luffy went to the opposite side like Law had told him. Now that Luffy was away from his cock, he could relax and make sure it goes away. He wanted nothing more than to touch and stroke it to get it to go away faster, but he didn't want to do that in front of Luffy. He closed his eyes and just willed it to go away. His rest was interrupted by splashing, and he opened his eyes to see that Luffy was laughing and swimming, splashing around.
"Stop that! You'll reopen your wounds, you idiot!"
Luffy stopped splashing and turned to look at him. "But I feel okay,"
"Let me see your wounds!" Law demanded and stood up in the spring, sloshing his way over. Luffy stood up as well, and Law looked him over. Sure enough, Luffy's playful side caused a few wounds to open up. Law decided that these particular wounds would have to be stitched up if they were going to get any better. "We need to get you bandaged and back to the infirmary. You need stitches."
"I do?" Luffy looked down at himself and saw some wounds were bleeding. "Oh, yeah, look at that,"
"You idiot!" Law lifted Luffy from the water and carried him back. He sat him on a rock and went to his bag to take out some bandages. He patched up the bleeding wounds, but the bandages won't last that long. He got himself and Luffy dressed as carefully as possible. They had to get back to his castle. Law scooped him up again. "Try not to move too much!"
Law flew as fast as he could back to his home. Luffy held onto him and did his best not to squirm or move. Law saw his castle coming into sight and he circled the structure until he came to the window of the infirmary. He flew into the open window and placed Luffy down on the operation table, which was made of wood and marble. Law told Luffy to remain still as he mixed a salve to help numb the pain of the needle. He removed the bandages and applied the thick green salve to the open wounds. Then, while the numbing agents were taking effect, he thread his stitching needle.
"The numbing salve should be working by now," Law said. "You'll have to do your best to withstand the needle. Are you ready?"
Luffy nodded and grinned. "Yeah, I can handle some stitches! I've had them before,"
Law then set to work, carefully stitching up the wounds that were bleeding. Luffy never moved or flinched. The numbing salve, along with Luffy's ability to withstand pain, allowed him to skillfully stitch up the wounds. Once all the bleeding ones were stitched, he added some white healing salve to each one, then bandaged Luffy again.
"Traffy, I'm hungry,"
"I'll have stew sent up to you,"
"Don't you have anything else to eat?" Luffy asked.
Law looked at him and crossed his arms. "For a prisoner, you're awfully demanding,"
Luffy just grinned and chuckled. Law frowned and rolled his eyes. "Fine. I'll find you something else to eat." 'I hate being so nice all the time,'
"Yeah! Thanks, Traffy!"
Law guided Luffy back to the tower and the food arrived. It was a slab of roasted meat with bread on the side. While Luffy was gobbling up the food, Law wanted to get the medicine. He told Luffy he'd be right back, and locked the door behind him. He went to the infirmary and took the vial of the experimental medicine. Luffy was the type of person who needs to be calm because he's so full of energy and can't sit still. This would help Luffy to not move around so much so quickly and reopen his wounds.
He returned to the room to see Luffy was up and walking around. Luffy had just thrown a log into the fireplace. Law was annoyed that Luffy wasn't in bed. This guy was never going to heal if he didn't rest. Of course, a longer recovery time will keep Luffy from going to Doflamingo.
"Hey, I want you to drink this medicine," Law said, meeting Luffy in the center of the room.
"What is it?"
"It's something that will help you get better," he said. "It might not taste good, but you have to drink all of it," Law watched as Luffy downed the medicine and he made a face of disgust. "Now get back into bed,"
"Uuughh! I don't want to! I'm bored laying in bed all the time!"
"It's the doctor's orders," Law said. "Get into bed!" He thought it was cute how Luffy puffed out his cheeks and stomped over to the bed. The new medicine should be working soon. "Look at it this way- the more you rest, the quicker you'll heal, then you don't have to stay in bed so much,"
"But it's still boring!"
Law began to notice that the medicine was working. Luffy's eyelids were drooping and he laid down in the bed. Law approached the bed and sat in the chair.
"How do you feel right now?"
"I feel a little heavy," Luffy replied. "Did I always have four hands?"
Law raised a brow as Luffy looked at his hands. "What else do you see?"
"The walls are climbing themselves, that's funny!" Luffy laughed softly.
"Hm…" Law opened his doctor's notebook and started taking notes. 'Too high of a dosage- use less herbs- subject is showing signs of hallucinations-subject is relaxed,'
"I like your horns," Luffy said. "They're like…really long,"
'I gave him too much,' "Why don't you roll over and go to sleep? You'll feel better when you wake up,"
Luffy smiled and rolled over onto his stomach, chuckling softly as he rubbed his face in the pillow. "I feel tired but not tired."
'Definitely too high of a dose,' Law made the note.
"I like being with you, Traffy," Luffy said, his head resting on the pillow with his eyes closed. "You're a nice demon guy,"
"Just…go to sleep," Law said with heated cheeks.
Luffy liked him, but they were enemies. He had to remember that Luffy was an angel whose slayed demons. Luffy was still a prisoner, but Law was starting to not see him that way. He would have to remember that and stop thinking lustful thoughts. But the more he thought about Luffy going to Doflamingo the more he became agitated. It's almost as if he wants to keep Luffy for himself. But an angel and demon together is taboo. He became fearful when he realized what he was feeling. It's as if he wants a relationship with Luffy, his enemy. He's never felt this way about anyone. But was it just lust? Demons are generally more possessive and dominant when it comes to feelings of lust. Dominating a naive virgin angel like Luffy was irresistible.
'Damn it, stop thinking that way!' Law scolded himself. He had to get away from Luffy before he did something he would regret.
Leaving the room and locking it, Law returned his journal to his office, then took off into the sky. He had to do something about his lust for Luffy, so he went to the nearest brothel.
"Damn it, they won't let us leave!" Zoro kicked at the door that led to the Demon Realm. "We need to find Luffy!"
Sanji placed his hand on Zoro's shoulder. "Kicking it isn't going to make it open,"
"But Luffy is down there," Zoro said. "They torture angels,"
"I'm just as frustrated as you are, but we need to find a different way to get there. The powers that be don't want us going down there,"
Zoro nodded. "Let's try to find another way down. Once we get there, we'll have to search for him."
"I would bet money that he's with the main Demon Lord, Doflamingo," Sanji said. "This isn't going to be easy,"
"But it has to be done. Let's go!"
Luffy woke up feeling good despite the pain he still had. He sat up and looked for Traffy but didn't see him. He got out of bed and tried the door, hoping it was unlocked. He jiggled the handle, but it wouldn't open. He was getting very bored sitting in this room all the time. He wanted to get out of this room and find his wings. Someone named Doflamingo has his wings, and he was going to get them back. But he couldn't do that being stuck here in this room. There has to be some way he can get out. He understood that he needed to heal up more before running into a fight with a Demon Lord. His body still hurt in places, but he was getting better every day.
Waiting to heal was going to drive him crazy if he can't spend time out of this room. Maybe he can get Traffy to trust him enough not to run away. He wasn't going anywhere without his wings, so he had no reason to run away. Doflamingo was his target, and that bastard is only here in the Demon Realm.
Luffy went back to the bed and flopped longways on it, arms spread out, and staring at the ceiling. He thought back to the hot springs and an image of Traffy appeared…a naked image of Traffy appeared. Luffy felt his cheeks flush at the image. He had seen his friends and others in a bath or swimming but never felt this way about them. Traffy gave him that tingling feeling in his lower belly that he liked. He got that feeling again just thinking about him. Did he like Traffy in the way that he sort of liked Zoro? Despite being a demon, Traffy hasn't treated him poorly. Traffy was proof that not all demons were bad.
He realized that he wanted to touch more of Traffy, like he did in the hot spring. He liked looking at Traffy's body, even the demon wings and tail. Luffy wanted to touch Traffy's horns again. They seemed so hard and strong. Demons often used their horns as a last resort when fighting. Luffy wondered how many angels Traffy killed or wounded with his horns. Traffy was supposed to be his enemy, but Luffy wasn't seeing him like that. He could see himself becoming friends with Traffy, even if the demon didn't want his friendship.
Luffy thought about his friends and what they were doing. No doubt they were looking for him. He missed Zoro and Sanji. Maybe they would find him here and then they could fight against Doflamingo. He didn't think Traffy would want to fight with him, but if he did, then that would make them an even stronger group!
'Just you watch, Doflamingo! I'm going to get my wings back!'
Law lounged on the pillow bed with male and female company. The woman was on his right, and the man on his left. All three of them were naked and the two were feeling up his body. He puffed from the long pipe and blew upward, making three little smoke rings. He thought coming here to release some of the pent up sexual frustration wasn't working as he had hoped. His company was working hard to get him erect, but their techniques just weren't working. This was clear proof that he only wanted Luffy, his virgin angel enemy. It was just sex and nothing more.
He wanted to dominate Luffy and show him pleasure for the first time. He wanted to taste angel blood and take his pleasure. He would only need to do it once, and that should satisfy him. He didn't like being a slave to emotions. The word 'slave' reminded him of Doflamingo and what the Demon Lord would do to Luffy. That was bothering him the most. He didn't quite understand why he cared so much. It's as if he's viewing Luffy as his and only his, like in a relationship. No, that couldn't be it. He wasn't one for relationships.
"Master Law, are you okay?" Asked the woman.
"Are we doing something wrong?" Asked the man.
"No, it has nothing to do with you two," he said with a sigh and another puff of the long pipe. "I have too much on my mind,"
"We can help you think of something else," the woman purred, stroking his face.
Law pushed her hand away. "It's just not working. I'll still pay you both," he stood up and got dressed.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay?" Asked the man.
"Yeah, I'm sure."
Without another word to them, he paid the brothel and took off into the sky, heading home. He had to see Luffy and hoped he would be able to control himself.
The servant in Law's castle trembled at the looming, frightening form of Doflamingo. The Demon Lord just grinned devilishly and bent at the waist with his hands on his hips.
"How's the angel?" Doflamingo demanded, his grin wide.
"H-H-He's in…the-the-the- the high tower! I don't know-know-how he is!"
"Still locked up?"
"Yes! It-it-it-it's locked! Only Master Law has the key!"
"So, the angel's still locked up? In the tall tower?" He chuckled. "And where is Law?"
"I-I-I don't know! He left a little while ago!"
"I guess I'll just have to see myself to the high tower," Doflamingo said to the servant. "No door can stand in my way,"
