-GameShop, night-

While Yugi was staring at the puzzle on his bed, Yami entered his brother's room. The older Muto took notice of the small teen's silence before sitting next to him.

"Yugi, is something wrong?"

"…"

Yami stayed silent, waiting for his brother to answer.

"…I want to know who was controlling Keith and why?" Yugi said, biting his lower lip. "Why did he want to kill you? I… almost lost you…"

Yami sighed, "Who knows Yugi. But I know this much, you're not going to lose me. I'm not going anywhere any time soon."

Yugi widened his eyes, "But what if something does happen!?"

Yami didn't say a word, but rather pulled the small teen in a side hug.

"If that does happen, we will fight it together."

Yugi laid his head on Yami's shoulder when they heard their grandfather call out for them. The Muto brothers left the room only to find Kaiba waiting for them in the living room.

"Kaiba? What are you doing here?" Yami asked, sitting across from the young CEO.

Yugi sat beside his brother.

"I got a call from a woman named Ishizu," Kaiba took out the card he got from the Egyptian woman. He showed it to the Muto brothers, "She wants me to form a tournament to draw out these so-called Rare Hunters that might have the other two God cards."

"Obelisk the Tormentor," said Yami.

"But why?" Yugi asked.

Kaiba told them what happened when he went to the museum. Afterwards, the Muto brothers were speechless.

"You and I are in an Egyptian tablet?" Yami said in disbelief.

Kaiba nodded, "Supposedly I was this so-called Priest, and you were a Pharaoh."

Yugi giggled, "It's almost like you two are meant to fight in no matter what era."

Kaiba smirked, "I'll accept that fate if it means dueling against a worthy opponent."

Yami smirked right back at him.

"So, are you going to organize this tournament?" Yugi asked.

Kaiba crossed his arms, "I am, but that means you two need to be careful. From what I got from that woman, those Rare Hunters means business and would do anything to get what they want."

"Then we need the others help," said Yugi. "I know you don't get along with Joey, but you can't deny that he can protect me and Yami."

Kaiba pinched his nose, "Fine!"

"I'm guessing we're going to use that duel disk you used against me and Joey at Duelist Kingdom," said Yami.

Kaiba smiled a bit, "In a way… I'm making a new and better version. It's still under testing, but we're getting close."

"Well, can't wait to see that then," said Yami before checking the time. "Best you go home or Mokuba will get worried."

Kaiba frowned, "I swear I think Mokuba is the worried hen than me," he got up from the couch, "Go to the museum and see the tablet yourselves."

The Muto brothers nodded and watched him leave their home. The two stayed a bit longer before heading off to bed.

Meanwhile, in his limo, Seto was staring at the God card.

'What I didn't tell them was that I regain some of my own past life's memories… it was the Priest that left that tablet for the Pharaoh… for when he's ready to beat the darkness he fought the first time… and this time, I'm going to make sure he does.'

-Two days later-

The Muto brothers were just leaving the school when they spotted Tea by the school entrance.

"Hey Tea, did you forget to bring your umbrella?" Yugi asked.

Tea sighed, "Yeah, I thought it was going to stop after school, but sadly, I was mistaken."

"Here," Yami offered the umbrella he was carrying, "Yugi's is big enough for the two of us."

"Oh, thanks Yami," said Tea, taking the offered umbrella with a slight blush.

"We better get going. It's my turn to help grandpa in the store," said Yugi before waving to the brunette. "See ya later, Tea."

Tea waved back and watched the two brothers leave the school grounds before noticing some girls were staring at Yami with dreamy eyes. She glared at them before walking to her house.

-Sunday-

"So, what should we do before going to the museum?" Yugi asked.

"Not sure, but I hope we can find some answers to why my soul was sealed inside the Millennium Puzzle," replied Yami.

"Mm, I hope so too," said Yugi. He then smiled sheepishly, "I hope the others haven't been waiting too long."

Yami recalls when Yugi called their friends about meeting up on Sunday to hang out. The brothers reached the station and saw their friends waiting for them.

"Hey guys!" Yugi shouted.

Their friends turned their heads before running over to them.

"So, what's the agenda for today?" Joey asked, swinging his arm around Yami's neck.

"How about something to eat? I swear I could hear your stomach from here," said Tea.

The Muto brothers and Tristan laughed while Joey glared at them.

"Come on, there's a café not too far from here," said Yugi.

The five of them entered the café and ordered some drinks. While Joey and Tristan were getting their food, Tea was listing some places they could go before going to the museum.

"Hey, I heard they opened a new card shop not too far from here," pointed out Yugi.

"You just want to get some new cards, don't you?" Tea said in a teasing manner.

Yugi rubbed his head, sheepishly while Yami shook his head with amusement. It wasn't long for Joey and Tristan to bring their food.

Once finished, the five of them were going to stores to stores including the card shop that Yugi mentioned. There the Muto brothers and Joey bought a few packs of cards.

However, when they went to the park to rest up a bit, Joey was attacked by a bunch of pigeons. The reason is that he kicked a rock at them without realizing it.

Unknown to them, Yami record it and sent it to someone that would enjoy it.

Their last stop was the arcade where Joey and Tristan dragged Yami to the racing games and challenged the older Muto.

Yugi tried to warn them not to, but like always, they didn't listen and the two were beaten by Yami, big time.

"Who knew that Yami could beat us in a racing game," said Joey in disbelief.

Tristan nodded, dumbfounded.

Yugi scratched his cheek, "I tried to warn you guys. At first Yami didn't win, but since he's a fast learner, he was able to beat me on his third try."

"Is there any game that he can't win," murmured Joey.

Before anyone could answer, they heard a big commotion not too far from them. The five friends headed over there and saw it was a dance battle machine.

Two people were dancing until one of them won the battle.

"Wow! Johnny did it again!"

"That's like 20 times he won today."

"I wonder where he learned to dance like that."

"I don't care about that. I care about is where he got his hair style."

"A… dance battle?" Yami said. "Was that here before Yugi?"

"Mm, I think it's an updated version. The arcade did have a dance game, but it was getting old. I guess they replaced it with a new one," replied Yugi.

Joey snickered, "For a dude, he danced pretty good. What you say, Tea?"

"Yea, you think you can beat that walking mop?" Tristan asked.

"Now, who's going to be Johnny's next victim?" Johnny asked before looking around at the crowd and spotted Tea. "Hey, girl in the pink, how about it?"

Tea glared at him, "Oh, it's so on."

She took off her pink jacket and gave it to Yami before getting on the dance machine. The two waited until the music started and the two followed the steps on the screen.

One game, it was one game that Tea creamed Johnny.

Afterwards, the five of them were in the museum and were looking around at the Egyptian exhibit. They were about to turn a corner when Yami stopped in front of a no entry sign that led to the basement.

The older Muto ignored the sign and walked down to the basement. There on the wall was a tablet that had the image of him and another person, but Yami knew who it was.

"No way. Is this for real?" Tea said.

"I don't believe it and yet it's right there in front of me," said Joey while Tristan just nodded.

"Well, this would explain why your soul room walls has hieroglyphics," pointed out Yugi. "But that would back up what Bakura said about the Millennium items are from Egypt."

Yami nodded, "Right. But now, what do I do with this small information?"

Before anyone could say anything, they heard someone walking behind them.

They turned around to see a woman with long straight black hair that trails just below her shoulders, two locks wrapped in gold rings and continue in front, stopping at her neck. She had tan skin and around her neck was a particular necklace.

"I've been waiting for you, my Pharaoh. My name is Ishizu Ishtar."

'So, this is Ishizu that Kaiba mentioned,' thought Yami. That's when he saw the necklace, "Is that another Millennium item?"

"Yes. This item shows me visions of events before it happens," said Ishizu.

"So, like you can see into the future or something?" Joey said.

"In a way, yes," said Ishizu before tilting her head a bit. "But I must ask, how is it that you required a new body, my king?"

"I am confused as you are," replied Yami. He looked down at the puzzle around his neck, "Not too long ago, I was merely a spirit, sharing a body with Yugi and the next, I woke up in my very own body."

"Strange, indeed," said Ishizu before warning him about an evil force that was coming and a tournament that was about to be announced later tonight.

The five then left the museum and headed to the main square. That's when they heard a familiar voice coming behind them.

They turned around to see Mai Valentine running over to them.

"Hey guys!" Mai said, stopping in front of them.

"Mai, it's been a while," said Tea.

"What's up, Mai?" Tristan asked.

"Long time no see, Mai," said Joey.

"Are you here for the tournament?" Yugi asked.

"That's right… mm, who's this? Family of yours, Yugi?" Mai said as she spotted Yami. She offered her hand to him, "Mai Valentine, Handsome."

Yami shook her hand while Tea was glaring at the blond duelist.

"Mai, huh? Yugi told me all his adventures in Duelist Kingdom. I'm his twin brother, Yami. I recently came back home from overseas."

Mai grinned, mischievously, "My, my, Yugi, I didn't know you had a very charming twin."

Yugi laughed sheepishly while Joey was slightly glaring at Yami.

"So, any idea who will be hosting this tournament, Yugi?" Mai asked, slightly getting close to Yami. "Are you participating, Yami?"

"No idea. And my brother will be participating, not me," replied Yugi.

Mai blinked her eyes, "You're not participating?"

"Na, I get enough attention from Duelist Kingdom," replied Yugi.

In truth, the small teen did hate the attention he was getting since beating Pegasus… well, he and Yami did, but no one knows about that.

"Ah, I see," Mai leaned over to Yami, "Well, Yami, I can't wait to see how you duel."

That's when the board screen turned on and there on the screen was Seto Kaiba.

"Should've guessed that jerk was hosting this tournament," murmured Joey.

That's when Kaiba showed the new duel disk and explained that there will be an ante rule. Meaning who wins the duel, they need to give up their rare card.

Afterwards, their friends headed to their homes while the Muto brothers went to KaibaCorp.

"So, I'm guessing you placed the ante rule is for getting the other two God cards," said Yami as both brothers sat on the couch.

Mokuba sat next to Yugi.

"That's right, so you need to watch out if you don't want to lose your Dark Magician," said Kaiba.

Yami smirked, "That's if the Rare Hunters can beat me."

"True," said Kaiba before taking out a duel disk and handing it to Yugi. "Just in case those Rare Hunters mistake you for your brother."

Yugi took the new duel disk.

"Will Joey be participating in the tournament?" Yugi asked.

Kaiba sighed, "Normally, I wouldn't allow that amateur mutt in my tournament… but you do have a point. If that mutt was able to be in second place in Duelist Kingdom, why not."

Yugi and Mokuba cheered.

They continued discussing until it was getting late, and the Muto brothers left home in Kaiba's limo.

Kaiba looked out of the windows before looking up at the night sky. He closed his eyes, remembering the last moments he had with the Pharaoh before he went to seal the evil and himself in the puzzle.

He reopened his eyes, 'This time… I will protect him… I failed the first time, but this time I'm not going to fail… I will protect him.'
