Monsters and Magic

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you all doing? I liked the reviews I got, and glad to make everyone's day. I really hope to make this story a good tribute to the classic and good charm of Toho and Disney! Like I stated before, I grew up watching all of the Godzilla movies, Disney movies, and the like. I really want to make this a story worthy of the classic and excellent 80's and 90's Disney and Toho era!

In this chapter, Ariel and the others make sure William and his bullying companions pay for their various crimes against the little ones. Nothing too severe, but enough to get their point across the being a coward and a bully is NOT cool! The Twin Fairies will also help in dealing out the punishment. Also, get ready to see the dreams of the rest of the royal children. All of you have already seen Melody's dream, now it's time to see what the others dream about. Also, a little confrontation and explanation between Godzilla and Sonia, and I hope it clears some things up for everyone.

I really am surprised on how this story is going, and I can only hope and pray that the inspiration and fire to see this story through burns brightly! I thank God that he has given me this gift of imagination, and I never want to forget that. I do not own Disney or their characters, nor do I own Godzilla or any monster from the Toho company. I do, however, own the OC's and some of the songs I have been making so far.

Chapter 13

William Dashboard was a young teen that enjoyed having the upper hand in life, such as using his status as son of one of the royal captain of the Marcel guard to getting what he wanted. He also enjoyed using that status to torment and tease those of what he and the nobles considered "lower status". And earlier this day, he was enjoying having the royals on the ropes, hoping to get some blackmail material in order for the royal family and their guests to do what he and the nobles wanted. Now, it seemed that all of his victories and actions were about to come crashing down all around him. In front of him were the royal children; Melody, Edgard, Dianne, Kathrin, Tracy, and Mainard, all lined up side-by-side. Behind them were their mothers; Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella, and Belle. Beside Belle was Oliver/Olujimi Oxen, and on Ariel's side was Hadrian/Hazael, both retaining firm grips on their weapons. Behind the adults were the entire forty children that were invited by Melody and the others, and behind said local kids… were three monsters that had just gotten out of a battle between some top predators in the food chain! The bullies would have run away except… the last of the four monsters were right behind them, and on top of the giant brown worm were two mystical, and also upset fairies. Also behind the otherworldly visitors were Flounder and Sonia, the two bobbing in the water also glaring at the seven teenage humans. Sebastian was at Melody's feet, the little red crab also looking to have a bone to pick with the bullies.

William and his friends knew they were cornered, and thus they had no choice but to endure what the people had to say about them.

"I always knew that you were a coward and bully, Will. But… throwing two little kids to save your own skin?! Are you really that weak and pathetic?!" Melody exclaimed. Usually, her mother or father would chide her in using such language. But for once, Ariel knew that her words were very much justified. She had been brought up by the truth that ALL children were precious and worth protecting, her once baby-sitting some twin mer-babies in her youth as a mermaid proving that though they may seem to give you some problems… it's all worth it in the end when they smile at you and trust you.

However, Will's retort tested her patience. He declared hotly, "Hey! It's just two little common urchins! We are all important people of high status and blood! Our lives are more important then theirs!". It was immediately after he said that, that he felt the temperature in the air go down fast! Even though it was mild and warm weather, he and his comrades felt that they had just been dunked in a lake of ice. The glares he got from the kids, adults, and also from the monsters and Twin Fairies were enough to make them all flinch and take a step back.

Tracy exclaimed angrily, "More important… MORE IMPORTANT?! You honestly believe that?! ALL lives are precious and worth protecting, especially little ones like them!". She then pointed to the children behind her, some of the little ones huddling at the feet of the monsters for protection. It seems the children had some bad memories of when Will and his friends used to tease and torment them in any fashionable way, and they were now relying on the former titans to protect them. Godzilla growled at the seven teens, his eyes hard as steel and his stance showing that he would be very tempted to showcase his power on them like he had done to the furry mammals earlier.

Mainard added in, "You bring a lot of shame to your family, fools! Not only do you have to pick on the weak to prove your 'superiority', you actually use them as some sort of sacrificial shield/distraction?! Where is the honor in that?!". His parents had always told him that honor was important; that having the strength and conviction to live and defend your morals, values, and promises were more important then simple base pleasures and such. He may have loved to play pranks and go wild every now and then like a proud wolf, but he would always be there to defend what was right, true, and good.

Alfred and Hector growled and made a move forward towards Mainard's direction in a threating manner. However, said prince did not flinch or bat an eye. In fact, he was welcoming them to try and step up to the plate, so to speak. However, the two bullies' angry countence vanished quickly and were replaced by looks of fright. It was due to Anguirus coming behind his bonded child and mother, the spiked-shelled beast growling and rearing up on its hind legs. Mainard and Belle turned around, sending a grateful and warm smile to their monster friend and companion, before turning to see the teenagers, their facial features turning back to irate glares. Alfred Folding remarked, "You better be quiet, outsider! This has nothing to do with you!". In his view, people outside of the kingdom's boundaries had no business butting into their affairs.

Kathrin spoke up, her voice quiet but strong. She stated, "It is you who should be quiet. Be they from our kingdom or not, it is the business of all to discuss where honor truly lies. And honor is making sure the innocent and weak are safe, held and protected by the strong and right.". Snow White could not have been more prouder of her daughter then she was right now. She had seen that her daughter had been quiet, withdrawn and more to be with nature then with people. Now, she was standing up for herself and others, having a strength that was a sight to see. Mothra squeaked out loudly, causing all of them to turn to her. The Twin Fairies, who were on Mothra's head, stated that their retainer agreed with her bonded wholeheartedly. Will and his friends did not like being singled out like this, the group making them look like common criminals and/or thugs. In their view, honor meant nothing and getting whatever they wanted by any means necessary was everything.

The bully tried to make himself more important by propping himself up and saying, "Be that as it may… we still hold the cards here. Once my father finds out about these beasts you conjured up, I'm sure that a stay in the dungeon will change your tongue.". He had a smug smirk on his face, and his fellow noble friends followed. They honesty thought that they still held all the cards, that they were still in control. They started to walk towards the royals, with all intention of going past them and to the village. However, they were stopped dead in their tracks by some golden light that slowly appeared around them! When they tried to move, they found out that their limbs did not respond! They were frozen stiff, and all could see that a golden light circle of sort had appeared underneath the sand they were walking on. The group heard chanting, one in a totally unknown language, and they turned to see that it was the Twin Fairies! The tiny mystical beings were chanting in an unknown language; unknown to most, and with the Oriental children who were still taught the language of their homeland along with English, they seemed to recognize it but did not understand the dialect it was spoken as.

The other thing that caught the attention of the children, royals and adults was that a symbol of sort had appeared in the golden light circle underneath the teenagers, and the same symbol appeared hovering over them. The symbol was that of a cross, with what appeared to be a circle behind it with two lines appearing on each side of the cross, making the total number of lines eight. To the observer, it looked to be a sun behind the cross! The humans looked at the mystical beings, who were still chanting in the strange language, and started to wonder if they were not only mystical… but divine beings that were part of the High One above!

Mothra squeaked as she scuttled towards the teenagers, the humans back up and away to give the giant brown worm some room. The long monster went in front of the bullies, facing them and the Twin Fairies stood up on top of Mothra's head. Will and the others had looks of fright in them, and they could not move within the golden light circle. The twins spoke as one in the strange language, which was Japanese, "Because your desire to twist the truth to your base desire, to hide behind deception and to attack the weak and innocent… this is your punishment. For thirty days and nights, you will be cursed. For every time you stretch or twist the truth to your own selfish desires or ambitions, your head will ache and throb greatly with no cure in sight save be telling the whole and straight truth. Every time you look to force your will and unjustly might upon the weak and innocent, your stomach will be twisted and tormented until you cease your actions. So we have said it, so it shall be done by the Great One above!.". The golden light pulsed brightly for a split-second, then seemed to be absorbed into the teenagers bodies. The shock was apparently too much for them, and the seven teenage boys sank to the sand unconscious. The Twin Fairies, who had a slight golden aura around them, sighed as said aura faded and they seemed to be exhausted.

The twins looked at them, and the ladies saw the looks of shock and awe on their faces. Moll stated, "We are sorry for the sudden display of magic, but we thought it best if we dealt with these right now rather than later. We had just placed a temporary but powerful curse on these boys as punishment.". Cinderella and the others were a little surprised by this. They had seen their share of dark and light magic in their prime days, and was wondering what kind of curse did they put on them. Melody inquired on what kind of language they were speaking during the magical display, and Lora stated that it was Japanese. Of course, no one knew if the kind of language existed here or not. The little ones of Oriental descent made a mental note in their heads to ask their own parents to see if they knew.

Edgard asked, "What kind of curse did you put on them?". When the mystical beings explained to them what kind of curse they put on the teenagers, many of them smiled widely. To them, it was a just and adequate punishment. However, some of the royals like Ariel and Cinderella felt that there needed to be more. A more practical and mortal way to punish them. Moll stated, though, they RARELY used curses like these on living beings. She and her sister explained that they were fairies of light, peace and justice. They mostly used their magical gifts for healing, for internal comfort and strength. Also to keep in communication with both Mothra and the planet itself. They never had to use the kind of curse they put on the teenage bullies before in their world, for they always had hoped that humanity would rise up and over that petty ideal. But it seemed that in this case, the kind of magic was needed. Now this pleased the adults and the kids, seeing and understanding more about the tiny twins. Lora finished it up by stating that the spell was absorbed into their bodies and souls, thus why they were knocked out. The spell seemed to send a little shock into their systems, and knocking them out in the end. Melody and the royal kids, plus the local children, just agreed that it was probably for the best that it was so.

Little Regina went to Belle and asked, "Excuse me, but what else can we do right now?". Shortly, all of the little ones were asking/pleading on what was to be done now. With the threat of the wild animals over, and their local tormentors now out of commission, they wanted to have fun again! Ah, the innocence of youth.

Mrs. Célestin smiled at the child and looked to her fellow princesses, asking, "So, what should our next course of action be?". Snow White suggested that they bring the unconscious teenagers to a spot where they would not be in the way of the children, and that said little ones should have some play time in the ocean. Though they did not bring any swimsuits or such like that, the kids had simply clothing on that would be easy to dry out and wouldn't weigh them down when wet. Ariel looked at the kids and asked if they wanted to swim in the sea, and a resounding "YES!" filled the air.

The little ones ran past the adults and monsters, going fast towards the sapphire-colored waters. Oliver and Hadrian volunteered to look after the 40+ children, saying that further punishment for the six nobles and one military brat should be left in their capable hands. The royal children snickered at the jab the two made towards the seven teenagers, the mothers just smiling good-naturedly and shaking their heads. Aurora and Cinderella thanked them for the offer, and the two gave a slight bow before running to catch up with the kids.

"Okay Mainard! Help me get these fools up so we can move them!" Edgard exclaimed, grunting a little when he tried to pick up William's legs. The lanky teen was heavier then he looked, and it was made more apparent when Mainard lifted up the unconscious teen by his shoulders. The two boys grunted, straining themselves to move the bully. The girls resorted to an easier means of transportation… getting the six nobles by the legs and dragging them to a spot that was by the forest, a perfect place where sand met brown earth. The six teen's clothes were now ruined, getting dragged through sand and hitting some stray sea stones and such along the way, but better that then having the lovely ladies risk their backs and such to carry such heavy loads. Mainard and Edgard saw this, then they copied the ladies techniques, showing that in times like these, it was best to work harder AND smarter. Luckily for them, the seven teens were still unconscious after their little drag race. Godzilla and the others monsters opted to stay close to their bonded humans, also to get some rest after their little battle with the local wildlife.

Rodan and Anguirus had gotten off a bit light, both sporting some new scars on their bodies. Said scars would heal overnight, barely even leaving a trace that they were there. The wolves that challenged them were sharp and cunning, but lacked the crushing bite or claw power to leave serious scars on the bodies of the former titans. Mothra sported some nasty bite marks on the side of her head, but like her comrades, the wounds would heal quickly and leave only faint scars. Godzilla had taken some good damage from the bears, whose combined strength easily topped the human Tightfist. The saurian had some serious bite and claw scars on his shoulders, arms and chest, some bleeding red blood. However, his healing was far more enhanced then his allies, and thus they too would vanish come the morning light. Only, there would be NO scars to show that he had indeed gotten into a fight.

Once they were all situated, royal children and their mothers with their bonded monster, they started to talk on what should be done to further punish William and his friends. Tracy suggested, "How about we erase their memories of ever seeing the monsters, and make up some story that Will and his henchmen were almost eaten by wild animals, but we saved them?". Mainard agreed with Tracy's proposal, but the others did not and put forth their reason. The Twin Fairies stated that they did not have the power or ability to do memory spells, and even if they did, they would not use such spells. Moll and Lora explained that the human mind was not only greatly complex, but also sensitive, thus tampering with another person's mind could be very risk and dangerous. The daughter of Cinderella looked a little down that her plan had such serious flaws to it, but her mother just put a hand on her shoulders and said it was alright. Now that she knew, Tracy was going to be a more cautious on what she would suggest. Ideas were being thrown left and right, and it lasted for a little while until it was Ariel that broke the deadlock.

The redheaded beauty said, "I believe we have only one option. I am sure that when they wake up, they will try to go to their parents. The nobles parents live a bit of a ways from the village, making travel there by coach and such about two to three days. I believe that William here needs to be dealt with first, since his father IS one of the captains of Eric's royal guard. And I believe some improvising is in order.". The others saw that her words rang true; the nobles could be dealt with later, since they lived far away in their own lands. However, Will had a powerful connection with the family due to his father being in the military.

Mrs. Marcel stated, "I'm afraid the boys have put us in a spot. The only option now is… to tell Jackson Dashboard about our monster friends here, and also what has been done to his son.". Now THAT statement got a lot of gasps and wide-eyed looks from her companions. Melody exclaimed on what good would that plan do, and the children also voiced their opinions loudly and a bit heatedly. The royal children knew that if the captain of the royal guard learned about what happened to his son, and learned the monster's existence, more than likely he would inform King Eric and they would try for an attack on Godzilla and his friends. And the end result… would be bloodshed on a level they did not want to think about! Ariel waited patiently for them to calm down, and the mothers helped their own children be calm for a moment so their friend could explain her reasons.

When she had their attention, Ariel started to say, "Thanks for calming them down, ladies. And children, please listen. If we try to deceive or trick Jackson and he finds out, he will turn against us. And in the short and long run of things, that would cause more harm then good for us and the people. We need to tell him everything honestly, truthfully. Unlike his son, Jackson has honor. We will bring the Twin Fairies with us so they can explain everything as well, and also inform him of the situation. And also, tell him everything that has happened. From the time you all met Godzilla and everyone, all to this point. That way, he can truly see that our goal to bring the monsters together peacefully with the population is a worthwhile risk. A venture, in other words.". Now that they had calmed down some, the royal kids were starting to see that this plan was indeed a sound one. Melody added in that she had met with Will's father, and he was indeed decent, strict but fair, and most of all honorable. He would listen to them before any hasty actions could be made, and also finding out the truth about his son and his actions would be a bitter pill to swallow. But better now then later, and hopefully something could be done about William.

Aurora inquired, "Will the children be able to help us out? That they would state that what Will and his friends did to them were true?". Snow White quickly replied that it would be bad to force the children to face their tormentors and tell on them to their parents. However, Edgard pointed out that if the little ones did not come forward with the truth on how they were treated and teased by William and his cronies, it would make it a harder for them to sway Jackson to their side. The lovely lady frowned a little, showing that she did not like to put little ones in such a spot. Cinderella and Aurora were with Snow White on this one, but they did not argue on Edgard's logic. It was then that Kathrin asked the Twin Fairies if it were possible to show the memories of what Will and his noble friends did to the children with little to no damage to his mind.

Moll and Lora replied, "We do not tamper with the mind, as it is against our nature. However, showing what is in the mind is another matter entirely. We have discovered some time ago that while tinkering with a mind via magical means is dangerous and very risky, showing one's memories from the mind is perfectly safe and offers no dangerous risk to the person or their personalities.". Now that kind of information was gold! Mainard then said that they could simply bind Will up, and have the mystical beings show everyone his memories on his recent activities. While it was a bit crude, the others saw that it was feasible. Plus, Lora stated that she could hold a binding spell on Will while Moll could perform the memory-showing spell. It would put another drain on their magical reserves, but not enough of a drain to put them in serious danger. One by one, the royals agreed to this plan. It was done in these steps; take William and his friends to the castle, tell his father Jackson everything on what has occurred, plead with the man to wait until tomorrow so they could show their friends to the public, and finally show to the captain what his son has been up to. It sounded good in mind and on paper… but would it work in reality, that was the question. And right now, that was all they had.

As they talked a bit more about their plan of action, Godzilla drowned out the chatter by looking out into the ocean. The sound of laughter soon filled his tiny ears, and he was starting to actually enjoy the sound of human joy and amusement rather then the sound of humans yelling in fear and panic. His gaze fell to the beach, where the little ones were playing at, seeing the small humans enjoy splashing and thrashing about in the water. He turned to see one of the two humans he had saved earlier from the large furry creature he had been fighting earlier, talking with a small brown-yellow haired female near her age. They were talking while splashing about, grins on their faces. Godzilla merely snorted, but if one were to see his maw, they would have sworn to see a tiny little smirk on it! Amazing yes, but it would have been gone in a minute or so. However, something got his attention when he saw an elderly female swimming to the tiny humans. He was going to check the human off as a non-threat… until he saw that the lower end of the human was not legs, but a tail! A fish tail… one he had seen before! Godzilla's mind recollected on the strange half human who shot at him with an energy beam of sort that greatly harmed him, and his mind went on instinct! He roared loudly, causing the royal families to jump in surprise and some like Kathrin and Snow White to cover their ears. The children stopped their playing to look in the direction of their new friend, even Oliver and Hadrian looked from their vigil of the little ones to see why Godzilla had just roared.

Regina was playing with her latest friend, Sarah Brown. The two were splashing and playing around together, just enjoying the cool water, the warm sun, and the salty breeze that played around their small bodies. The two started to talk about themselves, first starting with their names and soon going about their parents. Regina's mother was a doctor, one who used and studied modern medicine, while her father was a dentist who looked at teeth. Needless to say, he was always given a little bit of the evil eye from his patients, but it was never in true malice or hate, and the evil eye stare did lessen after a few weeks or so. Sarah told her new friend that her father was a fisherman, always loving the sea, while her mother was a herbalist. Seeing Regina's confused face, Sarah giggled and explained that her mom used plants and other stuff in nature to make medicine. Soon, the two little girls argued on who was the best doctor, though it was cute to see and it was just childish arguing. They were soon approached by Sonia, who was interested in the little argument. The tiny human kids were still amazed to see her since she was, after all, a mermaid. Sonia had Sebastian by her side, the small crab opting to stay in the ocean rather then on land.

The elderly mermaid drew herself close to the shore, her stomach and lower half very close to the sandy bottom. She looked at the two in amusement and cut into the cute argument, "Now, now girls. I'm sure that both of your mothers are talented doctors in their own right. Though they use different methods, the quest is the same. To help heal and make people better!". The two girls looked at her for a moment, then realized that the mermaid was right.

Sebastian added in, "Sonia's right, ladies. Your mudders make do different things in different ways, but da results always da same! They heal and fix people who come to them! And ya should be proud of that fact, instead of arguing on who does what best!". Seeing that the talking crab was right, the two little ladies nodded to him and to Sonia with smiles on their faces. They hugged their new finny friend, but any other action after that was cut off as they all heard the roar of their other friend, Godzilla. The mermaid and the Jamaican crab were a bit stunned by the saurian's loud sound, and even more so when the behemoth was stomping towards them! The children screamed a little and scattered in fright, except for Sarah and Regina, as they stood their watery ground as the King of the Monsters waded into the water and was now a few feet away from the mermaid and crab. The beast lowered his head towards the frightened elderly mermaid, his eyes boring into hers like a king would to a subject. Godzilla seemed to sniff the half human, half fish being before growling, showing his teeth.

Melody and the others stood up upon seeing Godzilla's action and Tracy exclaimed, "What has gotten into Godzilla?! Why did he roar like that, and is now looking down on Sonia?!". It was the Twin Fairies that told them on what happened earlier today, on how Godzilla told them that he was injured due to meeting some beings like Sonia… one of them blasting him with a golden weapon that shot out some magical energy. They informed the royal humans that magic was one of the few things that could do some serious damage to the King of the Monsters, and Ariel and Melody's eyes widened in horror upon realization. It meant that Godzilla had encountered Ariel's father/Melody's grandfather, King Triton! Before anything else could be said, the two ran towards the saurian fast as they could, hoping to defuse the situation. Tracy and the others followed, the Twin Fairies following on Mothra. Rodan and Anguirus were a bit curious on the situation, and also wanting to see what a mermaid was, and the two followed them.

Sonia was frozen in place, staring into the eyes of a beast that had the power to finish her off easily. However, Sarah and Regina made some little angry faces, their cheeks puffing up slightly making them look a little cute to an observer. The two got in between the saurian and mermaid, the little ladies actually scolded the King of the Monsters! Both wagged their fingers at Godzilla and Sarah said, "Hey! No scaring good mermaid! She saved us from bad doggies!". The green-skinned beast now looked puzzled, wondering on why the tiny humans came between him and a potential threat, and wagging their little fingers at him. Godzilla would never fully or truly understand human behavior. Sonia snapped out of her little frozen trance, and was very grateful to the little ones for the save. However, she thought it was best to retreat for now and she was going to dive into the ocean to swim away when they heard yelling from behind Godzilla. The monster turned and both he, and the elderly mermaid saw that Melody and Ariel were running towards them. Both of them were yelling at Godzilla, though.

Melody exclaimed, "Wait! Godzilla, hold on a second! Don't harm her! Sonia, don't swim away!". The saurian turned to face his bonded humans, wondering on why she wanted to spare the half human creature. And Sonia was puzzled on why the princess and queen did not want her to swim away from something that held something of a grudge against her. When the two finally arrived, Melody and Ariel thanked the two little ones for helping. Sarah and Regina just gave a huge smile and nodded their heads, both saying that they were happy to help.

Ariel turned to Sonia and asked, "Sonia, can you please tell me if my father is alright?". This confused the mermaid for a moment, then realized that she did not explain to everyone just why she was here in the first place. The elderly preserver of life and nature then explained the real reason on why she and Flounder where here, and the yellow blue-striped fish swam in and told them what he knew as well. After the explanation, both royal ladies were relieved to hear that Triton was okay. However, they soon realized that with the ruler of Atlantica now on the alert due to his entanglement with Godzilla, they felt their plans shifting once again. Sonia put in that Triton did say he tried to communicate with Godzilla, but did not understand him. Ariel was confused on that part, stating that her father WAS lord of all the ocean, and that he could understand and communicate with every form of sea life. It was the Twin Fairies that took over this part, the other monsters and royal friends now with the two princesses of the sea and land.

Lora spoke out, "I believe that since we are from a different universe altogether, it would be rather difficult for your King Triton to communicate with a being that did not belong originally to this world. Thus, why your king and Godzilla were not able to understand one another.". Ariel and Melody found that indeed, the answer was sound. They almost forgot that their new monster friends were indeed from another reality, and that some rules here may or may not apply to them. They had gotten a bit careless, but they were determined not to make the same mistake.

Regina and Sarah did not understand everything that was just told, but they used their childlike logic and understood this. That Sonia was not a bad mermaid, and that Godzilla just wanted to make sure that their new finny friend would not hurt him like the other merperson did. Regina stood up and walked towards Godzilla, going to his front and jumping up to try and grab one of his claw hands. The saurian was a bit puzzled by this tiny humans attempts to take his claw, but he decided to see what she would do if she got it. He lowered down his right claw, Regina leaping and grabbing it. Upon taking what she wanted, she started to walk back towards the water… towards Sonia. She looked at Godzilla with a big grin and said, "Come on! Fishy lady not going to hurt you! She different from scary merperson that hurt you! Come on!". Ariel and Melody giggled a little, glad that their father/grandfather was not here and him being referred to as a 'scary merman'. Godzilla was again confused by the tiny human's actions, but something inside of him told the mutated dinosaur to trust the little one. The King of the Monsters allowed himself to be led by Regina, wading once again back into the water.

Meanwhile, Sarah was talking to Sonia, who again got nervous upon seeing Godzilla enter the water. The little lady gave the mermaid a warm smile and said, "Don't worry! Godzilla not hurt you! He just worried that you were like scary merperson that hurt him! Show him you are not scary, and that you don't want to hurt him!". The elderly merfolk was a bit amused by the child's logic and words, but was still a little hesitant. However, Sarah was not one to give up so easily. Still smiling, she took the mermaid's hand and almost dragged her to the meeting point between her and Godzilla! Sonia struggled a little, of course, but she was surprised on how strong a grip the human child had! Soon, Regina and Sarah met at the halfway point with their respective living cargo in tow. The two girls soon separated and gave the two some space so they do something. Now, it was former titan meeting protector of sea life.

At first, nothing seemed to happen. The two were now in what seemed to be a staring contest of sort, and no one dare to do something to interrupt said contest. The children were looking on in wonder, wondering on what was going to happen while the royals held their breath. They were hoping that something good would happen. After a moment had passed, Godzilla saw the soul of Sonia. He saw that she was indeed not a threat, and that her smell was different from the one who harmed him earlier. The one with the golden weapon, the one who harmed him earlier, had a smell of strong magic and concentrated power. The saurian had been around Mothra and the Twin Fairies, so he knew magic when he smelled it. But this being… she did not have the smell of magic or power. She smelled gentle, subtle, having a fragrance that was similar to two of his bonded humans. He remembered when Melody reached out her hand to touch him, and he wondered what would happen if he did the same. Slowly, he lifted up his left claw and held it out to Sonia.

Said being was currently hypnotized a bit when she saw into Godzilla's eyes, into his soul. She saw that he had endured a lot of hardships, but that had made him tougher. Wiser. Stronger. He had an aura like Triton; not a regal authority like her king, but a power and presence just like that of a ruler. She snapped out of her little trance when she saw him lift up his claw at her, and flinched a little, thinking he was going to strike. However, she paused and soon saw that Godzilla was not going to strike. In fact… he was extending his claw like that of a handshake! Sonia immediately knew that this creature before her was one of intelligence, and decided to take the chance. Slowly, she lifted up her hand and soon touched the skin. She was amazed on how bumpy but warm the skin was, surprised that it was indeed skin instead of scales. His skin had the look and feel of an ancient tree, and a little jolt went through her. It was not damaging, but rather pleasant. It seemed that Godzilla had just confirmed that Sonia was indeed a friend, and the two shared a mutual understanding before slowly parting their hands.

The children cheered loudly, seeing that again a friendship was born! In truth, it was not a friendship but a kind of understanding between the two. The royals let out their breath, relived to see that everything worked out. Sebastian and Flounder let out a relieved sigh as well, the musical genius crustacean stating, "Oooh… Flounder, this be almost too much for me heart to take! First Triton sends me to check on things, promising a substitute that can fill in for the birthday concert for Melody! Now, I'm hearing all of dis! Oh… I think early retirement is looking VERY tempting at dis point!". The fishy friend replied that his heart was also a little overwhelmed on what has been occurring, but added in that he had faith that everything would work out in their favor.

Regina and Sarah went and hugged Godzilla's legs, saying their thanks for giving their new friend a chance. Melody and Tracy went to the two little ones, patting them on the head with grateful smiles on their faces. The daughter of Cinderella said, "Thank you for helping us out again. It is thanks to your bravery and courage that things were settled good.". Regina just smiled and said that she was just helping her new friend, and Sarah stated the same thing as well. The royal moms smiled, wondering if it was possible that these children held more wisdom then adults when it came to settling matters like this. Godzilla looked at the tiny humans, and then at the merfolk he just held claws with. He gave a small snort, a nod to go with it, then turned and left the beach. The humans and mermaid had to duck a little from his swinging tail, but they did not mind at all. Sonia then got a better look at the monsters her former sea princesses were now friends with, and the elderly mermaid was just stunned to see the unique and tall beings before her.

"Such creatures… such unique and powerful beings… Melody, Ariel! Everyone! Please tell me everything! I want… I need to know what has been going on! Maybe by hearing all of you on what has been taking place, and what you have been planning, perhaps we can both help each other in making sure the others in our respective kingdoms!" Sonia pleaded. Ariel thought that now might be a good time for them to catch up on some things, and explain to Sonia and Flounder everything that had happened since he left. It seems that some long explanations were in order, and again the plans seem to be altered now, even though slightly. Melody and her companions saw that they not only had to win over rest of the human population to Godzilla and his allies, but now they had to convince merfolk kind that the beasts were to be accepted instead of rejected.

It seems that things were getting a little more complicated for our heroines and heroes!

(Author's Notes: Going to stop right here, for this is like a little filler of sort. So, how did you like it? Now that everyone is together at one place, it seems that a lot of explaining and planning is in order. The ultimate goal is still the same for Melody and the others; to unite the monsters with the humans, and let the humans see that there is more to Godzilla and the others then meets the eye. But now, they have to factor in King Triton and the merpeople. Plus, they have to deal with William and his father Jackson. Let us hope that when the time comes for them to talk, the royal family and the Twin Fairies can move the captain of the Royal Guard to their side.

Also, let it be known that Godzilla was cautious here when he saw Sonia. Not nervous! There is a fine line to most things, and the King of the Monsters was cautious of the mermaid due to Triton's actions on him earlier. But it seemed the kids were able to settle Godzilla down, and brought together saurian with mermaid!

Two questions before I go. One, if you were a relative of Will and heard plus seen his actions on the little ones all the way up to the present, what kind of suitable punishment would you give the teen? And two, if you were Melody or any of the royal children, what kind of game plan would you come up with to make sure the ultimate goal was reached? Melody and the others are now battling two fronts; one on the land, and now one in the sea.
