Monsters and Magic

(Author's Notes: Hi everyone! I hope you all did not mind the short chapter earlier. But fear not! I will do my best to make sure every chapter is long and good. I just hope that you, the readers, enjoy what I have to offer. In this next chapter, the others finalize their plans and go back to town to drop off the kids. After that, they meet up with Jackson and discuss about Will's behavior. The other nobles will be punished as well by the captain of the Royal Guard. And finally, you will see the dreams of one of the children… Dianne! I hope this pleases you all.

I honestly do hope, and pray, that this story is recognized by Disney and Toho in the future. I really am putting my effort and hope here, to see my novel here becoming a full-fledged Disney movie! Old school, hand-drawn movie! In any case, due to some special circumstances, I will be able to update more often then just once a week. Hope this satisfies you all.

I do not own Godzilla or any of the Toho monsters, nor do I own Disney or any of their characters. I do own my own OC's, and the songs here. When I use songs that are by other artists, I will give the proper props and respect to the artists and the ones who made it possible.

Chapter 14

It was about 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon, and the day was beautiful for a stroll through nature. The birds were singing, the sun shining and the few clouds that were overhead were large and puffy. The temperature was nice and balmy, and really no one would have anything to complain about. However… there were some that would not see the beauty of this fine weather, and they were walking through the woods right now. It was William Dashboard and his teenage cohorts that were very broody and angry at the moment, and what was ironic that they were surrounded by happy and smiling children. And most of these little ones were the ones they bullied at the village! The seven boys were walking behind two carriages that held the youngest of little ones, and behind said teens were the royal family members. Walking alongside Melody was Oliver, and the person walking beside Dianne was Hadrian. In Kathrin's hands were the Twin Fairies, the mystical beings sitting calmly in the beautiful princesses' cupped hands.

Will thought, 'How did it come to this… this indignity?!'. Thinking back now…

~An hour ago~

William was feeling groggy, groaning as he woke up from what seemed to be a deep sleep. He moaned a little in pain, clutching his head and wondering on what happened. He looked around to see that his friends were also waking from their slumber, which was strange to the son of Jackson Dashboard. He said to himself, "How did we fall asleep? How come we're…?". Then, the memories came back to him! He remembered on how they were going to go back to the village, to tell everyone on the monsters that Melody and her friends summoned to the kingdom. Then, they were blindsided by those tiny twin girls by a golden light, who spoke in an a language that he did not understand. And after that… just darkness. He slowly got back to his feet, unmindful of the sand that was on his person. However, his noble comrades were complaining and such as they too rose up, wiping the sand from their being. They also whined that their new, expensive clothes were ruined. Will was about to turn on them, to yell at them to keep quiet, when he saw something coming towards them from the corner of his eyes.

Coming towards the group now were Melody, Tracy, Kathrin, Edgard, Mainard, and Dianne. Behind them were their mothers; Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Belle respectively. Beside Melody and Dianne were their two rescuers and friends, Oliver and Hadrian, who still had their weapons on them, primed for action at a moment's notice. He also saw that in Kathrin's hands, cupped and put together, were the Twin Fairies, Lora and Moll. Both looked seriously at the teens, and William felt that they had something to tell them. He sneered at the group and stated angrily, "What in the blazes do you witches want?". It took the males in the group some willpower to stay their hands at the moment, for that comment made them want to pummel the spoiled brat into the sand.

The daughter of Ariel answered, "So you are all awake. Good. You seven have been knocked out for almost an hour after the spell was put on you.". One of the nobles exclaimed, or rather demanded, on what spell was put on them. This time, it was the Twin Fairies that answered his question. The seven were still a little awed at seeing such tiny people, apparently the lot not having seen much magic or magical beings. Sure, they knew about the existence of mermaids, and their families would have exploited that secret long ago had it not been for the laws placed in effect by Eric himself to protect said beings.

Lora answered, "We put a spell on all of you, a curse that will last for thirty days and night starting today. It was spoken in our language, which is Japanese.". The group had never heard of Japanese before. Chinese and other languages from the far East, yes, but no being had heard of Japanese before. This was due to that Japan was inaccessible at the time in this era, and no one had ventured that far from mainland China. When Moll told them on the what the curse entailed, the others were not surprised when they saw and heard Will and the nobles blows their top. William made a step towards them, wanting to inflict bodily harm on the tiny fairies, but he was stopped by Oliver and Hadrian. Both took a step forward, drawing their weapons out in a display that told Will they would not hesitate to defend the fairies with force. The son of a military captain reined himself in, then demanded hotly that they lift the curse off of them. Moll and Lora stated as one that they could not, would not do such a thing to them. The Twin Fairies stated that this was their punishment for doing what they did to the children of the village.

The young Dashboard man was grinding his teeth, seeing that his advantage was slipping away rapidly. He declared quickly, "I'll just tell my father on you all! He'll be quite surprised to hear that you all have monsters in our kingdom!". He was hoping to see the royals stammer and try to make a deal with him, but he was unnerved when he saw that they were calm, cool, and well centered. The nobles also tried to intimidate them by following their leader's previous threat, in telling their parents on them. It was Ariel who dashed the six noble teenagers hope when she stated firmly that their parents were miles away, and they would not be coming back to the village anytime soon due to Melody's birthday party. Before leaving, she saw the guest lists and that the parents of each teenager here had declined their invitations, giving off some flimsy excuse on not being able to attend Melody's 13th birthday party. Now that deflated the six teens, had come down here to see what they could do to the princess's party. Their parents had dropped them off a day or so ago before leaving, stating that they would return for them some time after the festivities. The bullies were staying at a special place; an inn that catered only to them and the royals when need be.

Belle spoke up, "We have considered your threat, young man. We have decided to see your father and explain everything that has happened. We are also going to discuss with him your actions, current and previous. I believe it's about time he sees his son for who he really is.". Now, William would not have been bothered by this statement. In the past, he knew what to say, do and act whenever his father would try to pry into his activities. He was an expert at acting, thus he was able to deceive his father in making him see his son as a model citizen. But now, he was slightly worried due to these people and their small friend's magical abilities. He tried to keep his confidence up on his facial features, but the royals could see that the bully was sweating a little. He told them that by all means, they could talk to his father but he would take his side anyway.

He and the other teenage tormentors managed to look behind the group to see their former victims playing with the monsters, and some waving goodbye to the elderly mermaid that saved them. It still amazed the troublesome teens to see the little ones playing with such fearsome monsters with no fear or horror in their eyes. They saw David and Joshua patting the snout of the spiked-shelled beast, the twin boys right in the face of Anguirus and the brown-earthed colored monster was growling low in acceptance of the humans petting his snout! Joshua and David told their goodbyes to the mutated Ankylosaurs, and the other kids around the monsters were doing the same thing. Rodan was also surrounded by some of his new human acquaintances, Carlitos petting his wing and saying a little prayer of healing over the spot where Rodan's leathery left wing was still a little cut from the wolves bite. The large pteranodon lowered his head and nuzzled the boy's face to his beak, the brown-skinned child laughing a little as he hugged the sharp beak. The other children also gathered around to say their goodbyes to the winged lord of the skies.

Sarah Brown was currently with Mothra, the small eight year-old girl petting her side and saying that she would be back soon to see her. The large brown worm squeaked and nudged her head into the tiny lady's being, Sarah giggling and giving the guardian of the Earth a hug. The children around the crawling worm also petted the monster, wishing it well and that they would see her again. Mothra was loving the feeling of the kids petting her, hugging her and telling her that they would be back to see her. She remembered back home that the people living on Infant Island revered her as a deity, and always bowed to her and the children never taking the opportunity to get to know her or play with her. Given that she WAS a titan, that was a little understandable. But now, shrunk down and even without a majority of her strength or power, she loved the feelings of love and gratitude coming from the precious little humans. The Queen of the Monsters squeaked loudly in happiness, and the children laughed at this, innocent joy in their laughter.

Last but not least was Godzilla, the King of the Monsters! Said saurian looked down as the children gave his muscular legs hugs and saying that they would be back to see him. The great green beast was a little perplexed by this, but just went along with it. The feeling of being accepted, the feeling that was coursing through Mothra right now, was slowly creeping more and more into his heart and soul. This confused the former titans, but he amazingly did not go against it. Little Regina was hugging his right leg and stated, "I'll be back tomorrow! Hope to see you at Melody's birthday!". The small human then skipped off, but turned around and waved to him. The little ones did the same to him, also saying that they would be back tomorrow. He did not know what a birthday was, but when he heard the name of his first bonded, Melody, he assumed that she would be there as well. Godzilla was deeply attached to these humans who had bonded with him; Melody and Tracy, and their mothers Ariel and Cinderella. Whenever they were around, or heard their names, he got a strong urge to protect them… care for them, even. Godzilla was experiencing some positive human emotions for some time since he and the others arrived here, and it was changing him… but for the better.

Mothra was also deeply attached to her bonded humans as well; Kathrin and Snow White, both giving off a gentle but strong aura that was similar to the nature she felt that was thriving and coursing strong through this new world she was on. Rodan was also attached greatly to his bonded humans; Edgard, Dianne, and their mother Aurora. The giant flying dinosaur felt that both had spirits like the wind, free and strong, especially with the children. Anguirus also felt a strong connection to his bonded humans; Mainard and his mother Belle. The spiked-shelled monster felt a kindred spirit within the two humans, a never-say-die attitude and also a strength of will that was rarely seen in humans nowadays. All four shrunken monsters were feeling some good, positive and encouraging human emotions on a level they never even thought was possible! And… they liked it a lot, especially the King of the Monsters himself!

Kathrin turned to see what the bullies were looking at, and a small but warm smile came to her lips as she saw the wonderful scene before her. She then turned back to the teenagers and stated, "As you can see, the children are already bonding with our friends. How can you say they are monsters when really, they are beings that are much more then meets the eye? If anything else, it is you seven who are true monsters.". Will and the nobles turned their faces and attention to the daughter of Snow White, and they were not happy on what she had declared them to be… even if it was, in a way, true. They growled angrily at her, but Edgard stood beside her, his face now one of stone as he took a step in their direction. He was ready to defend Kathrin, and his sister Dianne knew that Edgard was a tricky one. She had seen him battle some minor bullies back at their home kingdom, and while not exactly a powerhouse, he was agile and slippery and used it to his advantage. More often running circles around those that could not keep up with his nimble body and clever mind. Will and the others looked at the ground, very much convinced that their easy lifestyle was about to come to a crashing end.

Aurora said, "It is time to go. We will put the youngest ones in the carriages, and you seven will follow them on foot. We will be behind you, should you try anything.". The royal families knew that this was a mere bluff, for the mothers nor their children had the physical strength to do anything should the seven spoiled brats try to flee… or do something drastic. However, it seemed that their bluff had worked, for the teenagers just nodded. It seemed they had accepted their fates, though they were badly wishing that this was just all one bad nightmare and hoping to wake from it. Seeing that this little task was complete, the beautiful moms went to gather the children up and back to the woods. Oliver and Hadrian stayed with their friends, ready to defend or any kind of action should it come to it. William was thinking of any kind of ways to get out of this, but it seemed that even his slippery mind could not come up with any feasible solution. Once all of the children were gathered as one, the moms told their kids that they could say goodbye to their bonded monsters. Melody and the others smiled, wanting to be near their friends badly rather then be near the teenage slimeballs. The six royal kids ran towards their monsters, hugging them and saying goodbye for now.

Hadrian looked to the teens and stated mockingly, "Okay, noble ones! Time to go! Come on, let's go!". Normally, anyone who dared to talk to them in that kind of manner would be facing any and all kinds of serious trouble. However, the teenagers were not in any position to argue at the moment, this feeling of helplessness alien to them and they did not like it one little bit. Grumblings and murmurings of anger left their mouths as they slowly made their way to the group, taking the position behind the carriages as the royal moms helped the tiny young ones in first. Oliver and his companion followed the teens, wanting to make sure they did not do anything funny. Once the royal kids had said their farewells to the monsters, and made their way back to their parents, the entire group started to return to the village

~Flashback end~

As the seven brooding teens were going over the terrible events, at least to them, in their heads, the royal members and their friends were talking to one another. Kathrin looked down at the Twin Fairies and said, "It was nice of Mothra to let you two come with us. It is a shame though that she had to stay behind.". Indeed, the twins were glad that their retainer had let them leave with their friends to go and help them on this little request. Moll replied that it was not a problem, and that they were glad to help . Though Lora said that Mothra requested that next time they come to see them, they would bring some fruit. Apparently, she and the other monsters were a little hungry. Kathrin stated that she would indeed bring some food for Mothra later on this day, if it were possible. The others, who were nearby and listened on the conversation, also promised to bring the monsters some food.

Edgard chuckled and said, "Not for Rodan! I think he prefers to fly out and get his meal. I just hope he doesn't mistake that seagull we saw yesterday, Scuttle I think it was, for food.". It was true; the giant pteranodon loved the fish from the marketplace, but he loved more so the fresh fish he plucked from the sea himself. Tracy remarked that Rodan would probably spit Scuttle out the moment he even set one webbed feet in his mouth, which got a little chuckle or two from the group. Melody knew that her feathery friend would most likely bolt if he saw Rodan flying around. But, she and her mother were a little worried about something if the giant flying dinosaur would be spotted by some of Triton's loyal subjects should he even feed. Just before they left, the two former mermaids had a little private session with Sonia, Sebastian and Flounder. When everything had been cleared up and put into place, the two princesses pleaded for the three to keep any and all scouts and such that were sent by their father/grandfather away from Sanctuary. Of course, Sebastian almost put his claw down after hearing this, saying that the king would most likely get suspicious if they did just that.

Ariel remarked that they just needed some extra time, to keep the forces of the King of Atlantica busy or distracted until the day after Melody's birthday. She told them that if all went well with the people here on the land, that they accepted the monsters, then she would go to her father and tell Triton everything and introduce the monsters to him. It was a long, hopeful shot at best that required luck and faith that all would go well. But, it was all they had. Sebastian was still tempted to tell his Majesty about this, but once Ariel and Melody gave him the infamous Sad Puppy Dog Hurt Eyes… he caved in again. He muttered to himself that sort of look should be illegal, which caused the females to chuckle a little at his plight. Flounder and Sonia stated that they would do what they could on their end, and hope for the best. The princess and queen thanked the citizens of the deep sea, and gave each a hug before sending them off. Sebastian said that he was going to go back too, wanting to see if the concert present that was for Melody was still up and running. He was VERY much hoping that Triton had found a suitable substitute to keep his orchestra in line and still practicing. Melody and Ariel said okay and wished him luck, the small Jamaican crab waving goodbye to them before diving into the sea.

Ariel saw the look of concern on her daughter's face, and put a comforting hand on her shoulder. She said, "Do not worry so much, Melody. I'm sure that Sonia, Sebastian and Flounder will do their best in keeping daddy's scouts and forces distracted enough so they don't find the monsters. The black haired beauty smiled weakly at her mother, thanking her for the comfort but she could not help but worry a little. Fortunately for her, it was Oliver/Olujimi that came to her little rescue.

Oliver stated, "It is a little pointless to worry, Melody. All it does is bring up negative feelings and lets you feeling uneasy, unsettled in body and spirit. Don't focus on what is outside your control, such as this. Instead, do what you and the others have been doing so far. Hope for the best, strive to make the positive a reality, and never give up the faith that everything will turn out alright.". The princess was a little surprised by her new friend's wisdom, but when she thought on it, he was right. It was a little silly to keep worrying about something she had no control of. She looked at her new friend and smiled brightly now, taking his hand and squeezing it a little while saying thank you to him. The two blushed a little on what occurred, but did not let go of one another. Ariel smiled at this, which turned into a little smirk when she thought on the little teasing she would give Melody later on the in future. Not the kind the bullies gave out, but the special, sweet teases that were all in good humor and fun. For now, she would just watch as the little romance before he bloomed.

It was about 3:00 p.m. when the group finally saw the village's entranceway. Before they continued further, Cinderella turned to the children and said, "Okay, everyone! Now remember what we told you all earlier at the beach. You need to promise to not tell your parents or any adults about our new friends. They will be at the birthday party tomorrow at the castle, so please do not say anything about them until then. Okay?". The local kids smiled and exclaimed "Okay!". The older siblings would make sure their youngers ones would not spill the secret, and for now, that was as good as the adults would get. Resuming, they soon crossed the entrance way and were back home! The parents of some of the kids were waiting by the entrance, and when their sons and/or daughters saw them, the little ones rushed to the loving embraces of their mothers and fathers. The carriages continued on towards the central square of the village, and when they arrived, the rest of the parents and adults were already waiting for them. The smallest kids spilled forth from the carriages to the street, rushing to the loving hugs and kisses of their parents. The rest followed, rushing past the royals to get to their families. To the royal mothers and their children, it was always a good sight to see, family members together and showing how much they loved and cared about one another. The Twin Fairies, hiding now in Aurora's beautiful and thick blonde hair, peeked out to see the scene and they too enjoyed it. The positive feelings coming from the various families empowered them, actually refilling their magical reserves and tanks.

However, the seven teenage bullies wanted to retch from seeing such a sweet scene. William made a fake gagging sound, and it soon turned into a muffled scream of pain when Hadrian 'accidentally' stomped on his foot. He and Dianne turned around and said, "Oops. Sorry. I thought I saw a large bug on your foot and tried to squash it.". The two chuckled at the dirty look the military son gave to them, but there was little he could do. Once that the little ones were safely back with their folks, Oliver and Hadrian looked at the direction where their homes were at. The two thanked the family for a good time, saying that they too would keep the secret until it was time for the monsters to be shown to the public on Melody's birthday. When they started to walk away, Melody and Dianne reached out to stop them. They asked if they would want to go to the castle with them, to help them with Will's father. The two heroes shook their heads, saying that they were not needed for that task.

Hadrian stated, "You all have more than enough help, and evidence, to convince Will's father to side with you. Besides… we are a little tired and would like some rest before tomorrow's activities. You will see us again at the party, that much is true.". The two princesses were still a little hesitant to see their friends leave, but with some gentle coaxing from their mothers, they released the hands of the boys and sent them on their way. However, the two boys did promise to meet them later on tomorrow, and that brought a little joy to the two young ladies. Melody kept her eyes on Oliver until he rounded the corner and vanished from her line of sight, and Dianne did the same to Hadrian until he too was out of her sight. The two released a little sigh, very much hoping to see their heroes again and to get to know them more a little better. Ariel and Aurora just shared a secret smile with one another, both seeing that their daughters had crushes and they didn't even know it yet. The group straightened up and once everything was settled, went to the carriages. The royal kids went to the one they were in previously when they started this trip, and the mothers went to their own carriage. Alfred asked, "Hey, where are we supposed to sit? There is hardly enough room for either of us!".

Mainard answered with a smug grin, "You thought we were done with your punishment? Oh no! You all continue the trip back to the castle on foot!". The teenagers were angry now and started to protest and complain, even Will. The trip back to the village had not cooled tempers, and this was almost the brink for them. However, the complaints soon reached the ears of the population, including some royal guards that were in charge of guarding the entrance to the village. One of them, a tall and bulky fellow with muscles leaned down so his face could be level with the teenagers and he inquired if there was a problem. The bullies managed to gather their wits again and replied in small voices that there was no problem at all. They knew not to mess with one of the royal guards, especially one that had muscles that could crack a stone block in two with ease. The guard gave them a suspicious look, then rose his head up and looked to the royal family. His face quickly changed from a fierce frown to a warm grin, showing he trusted and liked the royals more then the nobility. Melody asked the strong-looking soldier if he knew were Jackson was.

The guard answered, "Captain Jackson? Oh, he is at the castle training some of the new recruits. But he should be done with them, if you're planning to go to the castle that is.". Ariel replied that they were, and she thanked the soldier, who blushed red from the compliment. Apparently, this soldier, while tough and strong-looking, was putty in the hands of a pretty woman. Especially one like Ariel. He replied that it was no problem, saluted the royal members before going back to duty. The teenagers were grumbling again, and the soldier's head snapped quick to glare at them. The bullies stopped their grumbling, gulped and now tried to look like innocent bystanders. The guard gave a small snort of satisfaction, putting the teenagers in place, before leaving the scene. When he was out of sight, the carriages were now going on the road to the castle. The teenagers wondered if they could make a break for it, but decided against it because they knew that if they were not there to try and sway Will's father to their side… it would be BIG trouble for them later on. So, in a huff of anger, the seven bullies followed the carriages through the village, out of it, and back towards the castle.

~At the castle~

The royals came back to see that the castle was in a slight state of disarray. Apparently, it seemed that directing and reasoning with the staff was a little bit more difficult for the husbands then they realized. Streamers and such were placed in odd places amongst the courtyard, the chairs were scattered over the place, the servants were arguing with Eric and Asce on various subjects, Philip was seen through the top level floor window cleaning with some servants… and almost breaking a priceless vase in the process. Florian and Léandre were arguing with Chef Louie, all three trying to tell the other that the quantity order of food and such was wrong or that certain foods would be more welcome to the party then another. The children, mothers, and teenagers were a little surprised to see the chaos at the palace. Ariel and the other wives shook their heads, now seeing that it was probably not the best idea to leave the party planning and such to the menfolk. Ariel muttered, "Eric… dear, I'm going to have to teach you some skills at management.". She suppressed the urge to comment on the whole fiasco as she stepped out from the carriage, some servants nearby and going quickly to them to help the royal family members out.

Eric turned to see Ariel and the others, very glad to see them and it was evident on his face. He told the servants to hold on the arguing subject for the moment, and went over to his wife. He kissed her lips lightly and said, "Ariel! Thank God you are here! How was the trip to the village? Did everything go as planned?". Ariel replied that everything did go according to plan, but also that there was a hiccup or two along the way. Eric looked behind her to see Will and his friends coming into view from behind the carriages, and he gave Ariel a puzzled look as he inquired on what was truly going on.

She replied, "We're here to actually discuss it with one of the boys' father, who is here. Do you know where Captain Dashboard is?". Eric could hear that her tone was serious, then looked over to the teenagers again, and after a little time trying to see who they were, he did see that one of them was William Dashboard, son of the captain Ariel just asked. He then realized that what happened at the village must have been serious, then he told her where the captain was. He was at the training area, on the left side of the castle where he trained the new recruits.

Eric asked, "Do you need some help? It sounds serious Ariel if you need to speak to Captain Dashboard.". Ariel smiled and kissed her husband on the lips, thanking him for the offer but this was something that she and the others could handle on their own. The king was a little skeptical on letting Ariel do this on her own, and it showed on his face. But after some time, he sighed and was willing to let her do this on her own. He did make her promise to come back after the meeting with Jackson, so she and the others could help him and the men out. Ariel giggled a little and replied that she and the others would come back to help them out. They kissed one another briefly before Ariel went to the others, and all of them followed her and Melody to the left side of the castle. The teenagers grumbled all the way, still following them. Eric Marcel scratched his head, a bit puzzled on what exactly happened that warranted a meeting with Captain Dashboard.

The group went to the left of the castle, and soon came upon a small fenced field that featured numerous objects with targets on them like the ones people in archery used to improve their aim to hit the bulls-eye. Some soldiers in blue and white uniforms, with the insignia of a cutlass through a seashell on the front breast, were practicing with some swords and bayonet rifles. The children, especially the boys and teens, were impressed to see the fighting skills of the soldiers. Though it seemed that most lacked discipline, technique and finesse. They seemed to be a bit clumsy or slow with the cutlasses, and also with the rifles with the blades underneath the muzzle of said gun. "No, no, no! You all need to relax! You need to be in control of both your body and your weapons! You need to also be aware of your surroundings! Treat your weapon with pride and care, and never make excuses when you make a mistake!", a strong, proud voice declared. The group looked further down to see a tall man standing over the soldiers, who were actually trainees. This man was about a head taller then Eric, had a small ginger-colored goatee and mustache, had sharp honey-colored eyes. His hair was the same color as his goatee and mustache, and his clothing was different from the trainees. His suit was a bright red and white, his boots a shiny black, and also he had at his waist a slick saber. His frame should that although he was thin, he was not lank like his son. He had strong, corded muscles that was developed over the years, both in service to the royal family and kingdom, and his discipline in maintaining a fit body. He showed he had confidence and strength, but he was not arrogant and seemed to prefer using his sharp mind to make critical moves rather then simple brute strength.

"Father…" Will whispered in worry, for he knew that if his father discovered the truth about his actions for the past years… it would not be pretty.

Ariel called out, "Captain Jackson Dashboard! Captain!". Said person looked at the group, and when Ariel's voice was made known, the trainees all around stopped what they were doing to see the royal family and their guests. In their opinion, it was rare and a privilege to see royalty. A real treat! Jackson smiled warmly at the group now, showing that although he was strict and tough on his men, he had a soft spot for the people he liked. He had the pleasure of knowing the royal family well, and he especially liked Ariel and Melody. They reminded him of his wife, Minnie Dashboard. His wife was headstrong, a bit stubborn in some area, but also charming, beautiful, and a clever mind to boot. However, he was puzzled when he saw his son with them, and with Will were his noble friends. The captain left his post and walked to the group.

He did a small bow to the princesses and said, "Queen Ariel, Princess Melody. This is a surprise indeed. And I see you brought your guests along. Everyone, it is a pleasure to meet you all. I am Jackson Dashboard, second captain of the Royal Guard.". The royal members either bowed or waved to the captain, the elderly man pleased to see that the royal guests were well-mannered. He then inquired on what they wished of him, and it was Melody that stated that they needed to talk to him in private. When she stated that it concerned William and his friends, the captain's face formed a frown. He was now curious, wondering on what could have made the royal family want to discuss something that concerned his son. As far as he knew it, he was a good boy and that he was a man of honor. But, he would come to discover that his son was anything but that.

Ariel requested that the trainees leave for now, so that they could have the private moment. He nodded and ordered to his men, "Soldiers, leave us! We will resume training as soon as possible.". The trainees were secretly glad to leave training, and all gave Ariel and Melody a little bow and thank-yous before leaving the field. In a few moments, all that were in the field were the royal family members, Will and his father, and the six noble brats. They were far away from the castle that no one would be able to see or hear their conversation.

Jackson looked to the group and was about to say something when his son burst from the group, and kneeled before his father on both knees. He pleaded with him in his most pathetic voice, "Father, don't listen to them! They are using the dark arts and already put a curse on me! They are trying to spread vicious lies about me and my friends!". Now, Jackson new the royal family quite well. He knew for a fact that the members did not delve into the magical arts, especially not the evil aspect of it. And even though he had learned of Ariel, her heritage, and also the incident with Ursula and her sister Morgana, he knew for a fact that the former mermaid and her daughter did not tamper with the magic arts. He folded his arms to his son, a little embarrassed that his flesh and blood would pull such an act. In his view, a Dashboard only bows to the good and just. Never to anything else! Will then felt a terrific pressure in his head, an incredible ache like nothing he ever felt before! He tried to clutch his cranium, but his father took his hand and used it to pull the teen up a bit roughly.

He stated, "Get a grip, boy! Now stand up and let me hear what they have to say! No interrupting!". Will was prepared to give a retort, but one look from his father told him to keep his tongue still. Jackson then saw Aurora lift her hands into her blonde hair, seemingly grabbed something from within, and walked towards him. She kneeled down, putting the objects on the ground before him and uncupping her hands… revealed two tiny women! Jackson raised an eyebrow as he looked upon two adult women, only a foot high and looking to be exotic in nature. He had seen similar girls like that from his little trips to the village, where people from the Far East had come to either visit or settle down. But these women had a certain aura and look that made them different then the ones in the village. They also wore some strange clothing that he did not recognize. All in all, he was a bit surprised to see such exotic beauties before him. And he could see that they were not dolls, but living, breathing beings!

Both said as one, "Greetings, Captain Jackson. We are the Twin Fairies. We are Moll and Lora, and we are friends of the royal family.". Now Captain Dashboard, he was not one so easily surprised. The only times he were in awe was when he learned of Ariel's heritage, seeing Ursula the Sea Witch grow huge when he was at the mainland, watching the royal prince go out to save his lady love, and also when Morgana came in on the scene with Triton close at her tentacles to stop her. Now, he was seeing fairies, twins that spoke as one in complete harmony! Though he did remember the stories of fairies as a child, but he remembered that in the books, fairies usually had wings that were like that of a butterfly. These fairies had no such appendages. Jackson thought that you learn something every day, and this one lesson showed that not all fairies carry certain traits like flight.

The captain kneeled down so he could get a better look at them and said softly but firmly, "Hello there, tiny ones. Tell me, who or what are you exactly? And how did you come to be friends with the royalty?".

It was then that Lora and Moll told the dear captain, his son and his bullying compatriots everything. Moll started out, "First off Captain Jackson, we are not from this world. We are from a different universe entirely, though we did not come here by our own choice. Someone of great magical strength brought us to this world…". Lora and her sister explained what happened; how they came to the land, why they were shrunk down from their original forms, befriending the royal children, taking refuge at Sanctuary, and finally protecting the children from danger. They also told the stunned human that they did not know on who summonded them, or why, and also they did not know the fates of the four other monsters that came along with them. Needless to say, Captain Jackson Dashboard was completely floored by what he just heard. Will and the others were also a little surprised, not knowing the complete history of the monsters until now. Mainard and Edgard chuckled at the shocked look on the elder man's face, but a quick pinch from their mothers on the shoulder told them to be quiet.

He cleared his throat and stated, "Well… this is quite a surprise. I have heard and seen many things, but never when ten beings from a different plane of reality was brought here. I do believe you, I really do. However, I am curious on why you have decided to come with the royal families to see me instead of staying hidden with your monster friends?". Will was now nervous, hoping that his father would still take his side in the end.

Lora answered, "We have come because of your son, William, and his six friends who claim they are of nobility. They have done some horrible things, and sadly they wanted to continue their acts of blackmail and violence. It is then that we had to put a curse on them, even though we were reluctant to do so.". Now that got Jackson good! From all his experience, he had seen his son be a good boy. Will had always been upright and straight with him on everything, and he had seen the villagers wave at him in a friendly manner. Though… he did remember seeing that the smiles on the villagers were strained and the children seemed to hide behind their parents when his son came into town with him. Something, his soldier sense, was nagging to him that something was wrong. However, his father side chose to ignore it, in favor of seeing his son grow to be a fine young man. Now, it seemed that image was starting to crumble.

Jackson got a firm, neutral face on and remarked, "That is a bold accusation, and you did not deny my son's previous comment. But, what is this curse you speak of? And why reluctant to use it?". It was years of discipline, focus and also use in the field that he learned to remain calm and look at each fact. His soldiers, and trainees, often got into small arguments, and it was up to him to break it up and to see who was in fault or not. If given the opportunity, Jackson would have made one of the few politicians that was ever honest and fair. But, he wanted the life of a soldier… more simpler that way compared to the political arena. Moll answered that they were fairies of the earth, that they mostly used their magical powers for healing and other good, positive things. Curses like the one they used was forbidden, and they did not have much of them in their lists of uses.

The Twin Fairies spoke as one, "The curse we put on him and the six teenage nobles is that whenever they try to twist or stretch the truth to fulfill their own selfish desires and/or ambitions, they would receive headaches that would throb quite painfully and never cease until they spoke the clear and straight truth. If they try to force their will and might on the weak and innocent in an unjustly way, their stomachs will turn on them, giving them much pain until they cease their actions. This curse only lasts for thirty days and nights, for it will leave them on that appointed time.". Jackson was mildly impressed by the show of honesty in their voices, and turned to see Will was quite nervous. The captain of the Royal Guard was starting to see why his son was so nervous… the fairies were speaking the truth, and that he was trying to save his own skin.

Jackson inquired, "You answered two of my questions. Thank you. Now, why is it that they warranted such an action?".

Melody stepped forward and answered, "Sir, they were given this curse on what happened today. And, what has been happening for quite some time, according to some of the children we talked to earlier today.". She told the tale on how Will, Alfred and Hector were bullying a child today at the village. The princess stated that this was not the first time she had to help a little one from the bullying tactics of his son and friends, and this caused Captain Dashboard to frown further. Dianne soon stepped in after Melody's tale, and told her side of the story on when she helped a little one from the four other teens that were under Will's circle of friends. The teenagers started to sweat a little, seeing that their whole bullying operation was blown. William saw the face of his father, and seeing that it had a stony expression… he knew that his goose was cooked, well done to be precise. When the children got to the part on the beach, Jackson was astounded that the monsters would befriend human kids and also that the kids really loved to be around said monsters. He was starting to believe that the story books he read that ALL monsters were evil creatures were actually very wrong in this case. When Melody got to the part where Will and his friends came in, the lanky leader tried another desperate ploy to try and save his own hide again.

He went to his father and put on his best hurt look, one that worked many times in the past when he was a child. Yes, he was that desperate. He pleaded, "Father, you don't surely believe they will say next! They put magic on me! Surely they are putting one on you too!". Jackson was about to tell his offspring to stay quiet, but his son did have a valid point. What if he was also enchanted? He looked to the Twin Fairies, and already the tiny women knew what he was thinking. They both said as one that they could not enchant any living being with their magical powers. They could cast spells, yes. But they never used mind-control magic due to the severity of it that it would do on a person, and they personally vowed never to do that to any living being. Be the good or bad. Jackson closed his eyes, and secretly felt his body and mind. There was no tingling, nothing out of place… it seemed that the mystical beings were telling the truth, and it also showed him that his own flesh and blood was trying to deceive him to save his own hide. And that brought some pain into his heart and soul.

He turned to his son and ordered in a low, firm tone, "Son… from this point on, you WILL be silent. And you WILL let these people say their piece with no interruptions. And that goes for the rest of you, as well.". He looked hard at the noble teens behind his son, and no matter how arrogant or pompous they were, they would not dare disobey an order that came out in that serious a tone. William just lowered his head, showing he was complying with his father's wishes, even though he did not want to in reality. Jackson turned back to the group and nodded his head, telling them to continue with their story.

The Twin Fairies spoke as one, "Instead of telling you, we will show you the events on what happened. Through your son's eyes, you will see what he has been doing and that will confirm our story to be true. With your permission, we wish to place a binding spell on him so he does not escape the memory-showing spell we will use.". Jackson was now showing he was a little hesitant to have more magic put on his son, but what they stated showed that they were going to show him undeniable evidence that his son was indeed a coward and a bully… two of the very things that was most unbecoming of a Dashboard. The fairies saw his hesitancy, and told him that the binding spell would not harm him. Only to make sure that he stayed in place. Also, that the memory-showing spell merely allowed the images of the past inside the person's mind to be shown. There would be no tampering with his mind whatsoever, so therefore no damage to his psyche. The captain weighed in the possibilities, and soon decided that this was necessary to see if his son was indeed the things he had tried hard to make sure he did not become.

Captain Dashboard looked to them and inquired, "Would it be alright if you just performed the memory-viewing spell? I promise that my son will not flee… because he won't.". He looked at his son hard, and Will knew that his father would hold him in place while the mystical women wove their memory-showing magic on him. He did NOT want his father to see what he had done, but his logical side told him to give up. He was backed in a corner, no way out, and that surrendering was indeed the only option left. Should he even think of fleeing, his father WOULD catch him and put him in some kind of punishment that would be unbearable for him. William just nodded and slowly walked to his father, who then stood behind him and put a hand on his left shoulder. Will sighed, seeing that his lifestyle of getting what he wanted with no consequence to his actions was about to go up in smoke.

Jackson looked to the mystical beings and stated firmly, "Okay now… perform your magic.". The Twin Fairies nodded, and told everyone to gather around them. This puzzled the entire group present, because usually a magic user would tell them to give him/her space to perform magic. Just goes to show that different magic users from other worlds or other places required different means and/or solutions to their own brand of magic. When everyone was in place, forming a kind of circle around the tiny women, the Twin Fairies then started to chant in the Japanese language. All of them, including Jackson Dashboard, was in awe of the exotic nature of the language, and Belle and Tracy plus Kathrin vowed to talk with the mystical beings about the language, wanting to know all they can about it. And who knows? Maybe even speak it! Shortly after their chanting had started, the same symbol that appeared when the fairies used the curse on Will and his friends formed under them. The humans looked down, and again were amazed at the golden light and the power that was now coursing through the very air itself! Jackson would remember this moment for all of his life, as would the others. The symbol then floated from the ground, rising above them and coming to a stop about twelve feet above the group. It then pulsed a brilliant golden color, causing all to shield their eyes for a moment! When the pulse died down, they saw the symbol now on Will's forehead and was glowing brightly! If any one had seen the action outside of the golden light, they would have now seen a perfect golden sphere forming and encasing around the group.

Snow White muttered softly with reverence, "Oh my… this is too fantastic!". The humans were inside the golden sphere, and many sparkles of deep gold were flitting around them like fireflies. The children tried to catch some, but they always seemed to pass through their hands. The Twin Fairies kept the chanting up, then they stopped and threw their arms into the air! The golden area soon dissolved, showing everyone that they were in Sanctuary. Captain Dashboard had recognized the place he was now seeing, and apparently in. He had gone on patrol many times throughout the kingdom, to see certain spots and evaluate if they were either potential good zones for their allies to use… or bad ones in case enemies in the area might use said spot to their advantage. The mystical fairies spoke that they were now seeing Will's memories, the images now playing before them like a recorded tape. Upon seeing Godzilla, Anguirus, Rodan and Mothra… even though Jackson knew these were just images, he had his jaw open wide in shock. He had seen pictures of many fantastic beasts, either fictional or not, and seeing the ones that lived on land, sea, and air. But these four here simply blew any of the images away, especially the spiked-shelled beast and the green dinosaur with the strange dorsal spines. Will knew he was in trouble, and though he could not physically escape, he tried to use his mind to create false images. However, nothing seemed to be working.

Lora looked at Will and stated simply, "Once our memory-seeing spell is cast, you cannot change or manipulate them. What we see here is how it happened, what we hear here… is what was said.". Now William knew he was finished, buried six feet deep in the ground trouble. The images then played forward just like a tape, showing to all what Will saw through his eyes. Captain Dashboard's anger towards his son's actions grew as he witnessed and heard his son's own voice in speaking on how to blackmail the royal family, on how the children huddled towards the monsters when they saw him, and how he planned to make sure his father believed him while painting Ariel and her friends and family in a very evil light. The six nobles were also squirming like Will, seeing that they were in much trouble as he was. The scene then shifted when Will turned around, seeing the bears and wolves now in front of him, and the teenage punk screamed along with his friends as he backpedaled away from the animals. The captain did not find fault with his son running from the animals… but he was disappointed when he saw that Will hid behind his six noble friends like a shield, showing his cowardly side. The image continued on where the monsters ran to fight the animals, and Mothra was staying back to defend the little ones and the royal family. Jackson saw that this was good strategy, and mentally congratulated the beasts on a good execution of offense and defense strategy. But when he saw his son hiding behind Mothra along with his cohorts, the father saw red when he saw Will take two random six year-olds and tossed to them to the alpha male and female wolves!

Jackson's face was stony, but on the inside his heart and soul were filled with anger, shame, and disappointment. His son had just committed one of the ultimate acts of cowardice, and it seemed he did not regret it at all. His face did show a small smile though, when the images of Cinderella and Aurora running towards the two little ones to try and protect them came into view. He looked to the two queens and smiled, seeing that these royals were very much like their daughters; brave and true. He was also impressed when he saw Hadrian and Oliver come on the scene, weapons ready and their selfless acts of heroism and skill showing. Jackson took a hard look at his son, who could not look him in the eye due to his shame now showing through. The father shook his head and returned to seeing the action. He thought, 'Hmmm… these young lad have potential! Despite being small and young, they show good promise at becoming good soldiers. Good of heart and good of moral character… too bad my own son sorely lacks these qualities…'. After seeing the group, and the mermaid Sonia appearing and lending them a hand, the alphas were forced to flee. Now that really impressed the captain, as wild and smart animals like those would not give up so easily. His shame and disappointment grew though, as he saw Will and the others did nothing to aid the group. The image then showed them all on what Regina and her brother Carlitos did, and needless to say, the captain of the Royal Guard was shocked to see two small children running into danger to help the green-skinned dinosaur! More so when they all saw the kids take a chomp out of the female bear! Again, the captain's heart was filled with sorrow and shame when he saw everyone, including the adults, run over to the battle to try and save the two brave little ones… and his own son and his six friends just stood there, rooted to the spot and only acting like spectators.

The captain was amazed when he saw Godzilla's dorsal spines flash blue, and intrigued upon hearing Melody's warning that it was going to use a move called Radiation Death Breath. The name seemed to suit the attack, as Godzilla unleashed it upon the bears! The flames were totally unlike the elderly man had seen in his entire life, and it aimed it down to where the bears were at! Jackson thought as he saw the brown bears being carried away by the shockwave and slamming into some trees, 'This creature possesses intelligence, that much is clear. It knew to aim its fire at the ground, as if to really spare the kids of seeing a gruesome end to the animals. Is it really possible?!'. The image then showed the aftermath, and also what Will said and did after everything was settled. Once the image came of them using the curse on the humans, the entire golden sphere dissolved into light particles. The symbol on Will's forehead vanished, and it seemed that everyone was now back in the current real world. The glow around the Twin Fairies vanished, and the little ladies collapsed. Using a spell like that for that good amount of time was draining, and the two beings were scooped up and held protectively by Kathrin. Jackson took a deep breath, sighed… then turned to his son, who looked horrified upon seeing his face. He backed up a little as his father approached him, and the six noble bullies tried to make a break for it, but were blocked by the miffed moms, sons and daughters. They would not escape their punishment!

Jackson's angry gaze bored into Will's eyes, and the coward could not help but squirm uncomfortably. He weakly protested, "Father, please… you need to understand that…". However, his father cut him off with a swift wave of his hand, slicing through the air. Jackson did not want to hear his son's excuses. He did not strike Will, but the son flinched when he saw the hand coming down and slicing through the air.

Captain Dashboard said low at first, "What is there to understand, hmm? I have seen enough, and heard enough. Will… how could you do this?! What made you believe that you could use your position, my own rank against the innocent people like that!? Did me and your mother teach you nothing?! Did our lessons on courage, honor, and moral upbringing just fly past your brain?! Did you think that you could just bully your way through life, and me not knowing about it?! You really thought me that little!? You wanting to save your own skin in more ways then one! You have brought shame, disgrace and dishonor to the Dashboard name!". The children and mothers cringed a little when the volume of Jackson's voice increased, but they could not blame him. The man had been deceived a good deal of his life by his own son, and it seemed he was taking it hard. Will had nothing to say, just keeping his head down and lowered. Jackson was breathing in and out rapidly, trying to control his temper. It was not easy, because this was a serious blow to the man's pride, honor, and dignity.

Jackson continued, turning his body around as he did not wish to look at his disgraced son. He said, "Will, from this point on, you will be under my watch. As of tomorrow… you will be joining the military. You are to be put under my watch, training and discipline in order for you to be part of the Elite Guard.". Will's body froze, and his head snapped up in horror. The Elite Guard were the best of the best, soldiers trained EXTENSIVELY in both field combat and strategy, pushing their bodies and minds to the utmost limit! He knew he could not handle being in the normal military, let alone the Elite Guard! And he saw the way his father disciplined his men and the trainees, and with the way he was right now… he would be EXTRA hard on him! The teen started to beg and plead with his father to spare him of this fate, to think of some other punishment other then active work in the military. Ariel, Melody, and all the rest shook their heads in disappointment, see a teenager beg so pitifully on his knees a sad sight to see. Jackson did not turn to face his son, only to slowly walk away and towards the group. Will was crying now, his once easy lifestyle over and done with. But something else crept into his mind. If this was how is father was… what would his mother think when she got the news?! Even though Jackson was scary when provoked, it was nothing compared to when Minnie got a hold of this news! She would be compared to Godzilla in terms of rage and wrath!

The captain went to the group, then bowed on one knee to the royals. He whispered, "Please forgive me. I am disgraced and shamed because of my son's actions. I am not worthy to be captain after this shame…". He took out his saber and held it towards Ariel, for her to take it. She was surprised by his actions, but instead of taking the weapon… she smiled warmly at the honorable man and put a hand on the saber.

Ariel replied, "Arise, Captain Dashboard. You are not to blame for William's actions. We all knew you did your best to raise him right, you and your wife Minnie. But, Will chose deception and betrayal to follow. It is his actions, not yours, that are to blame. Now rise, Captain. I believe you still have a duty to do.". Jackson, who had tears coming from his eyes, looked at his Majesty and saw the warmth, compassion, and sincerity in her eyes. He was given another chance to redeem the family name, his own honor, and he would not squander it! He rose up slowly, wiping the tears away from his eyes before putting the saber back to his side. Everyone could feel the relief coming off of him in waves, and the others smiled including the Twin Fairies. He thanked Ariel for the second chance, telling that she was indeed a queen of both royalty and true nobility. Not the kind of birth or status, but the noble kind of good action and character. This compliment made Ariel's face a little like her hair color, which caused Melody to giggle a little.

Jackson then stated, "If you excuse me, you Majesties… I have a new recruit to get ready for training. INTENSIVE training. Also, to deal with said recruit's friends". He turned to look hard at his son and his cohorts, who all 'eepd' and felt like a mouse when it would be caught by an owl or other amazing bird of prey. The royals nodded their heads and were about to leave the field, when Melody turned and went to the elderly soldier. She looked him in the eyes and pleaded with him to not tell anyone about the monsters, saying that they would show them to everyone on her birthday party tomorrow. Jackson was a little skeptical, but after all he had witnessed and heard, he trusted the princess more then ever. He promised on his life and honor that he would keep the secret. She smiled at him, hugged the captain who returned it, then ran off to join her mother and friends. The group then turned and left, leaving Jackson now alone with William and his six noble friends. Oh, what a day they would have…

~Back at the castle~

When the group arrived back at the castle, some precautions were taken. The Twin Fairies were put in Melody's hair, due to it being a bit more fuller and thicker then the others. Plus, the blackness of it would hide the tiny girls more better. When they arrived, they saw the chaos still reigning inside and out of the palace. Eric, who was still outside and trying to reign said chaos in, saw they approach and went to them. He asked Ariel, "Honey, you look a little exhausted. Is everything alright? Did you talk to Captain Dashboard?". Ariel answered that everything was alright, and that things went well with the captain. She did say that his son was going to be joining the ranks of the military, and to expect William's letter of entry soon. Now that puzzled the king, for he had seen Will and the lad did not look like he was cut out for any kind of military action.

Melody asked, "Dad, me and the others are kinda sleepy. We had a little bit of an adventure for the day, so do you mind if we go to our rooms and sleep for a while?". Eric did see that his daughter looked a little fatigued, and wondered on what happened. He sighed and answered that they could go in and rest. Ariel added in that she and the other moms would help their husbands out first in sorting this little chaos before going to take a nap as well. Melody thanked Eric and hugged him tight before walking into the palace, past the servants and guards. Eric looked at his daughter and was very curious on what could have happened to make her so sleepy. He was brought out of his thinking when he heard Ariel clearing her throat to gain his attention. The king looked at his wife and saw that neither her or her friends were happy that their planning decorations were more or less in shambles. The women folk soon started to correct the mistakes their husbands have made, which would be quite a while.

Upon entering the palace, and all going straight to Melody's room, the children plopped onto anything soft they could find. They disregarded their clothing, which was still either sticky with water, sand or a little combination of both, and still plopped where they were. They knew later on, they would have to take a bath and get clean clothes on. Right now, they just wanted to rest. Mainard muttered, "This… has been one… of the most extreme… days in… my life.". The others agreed with his sentiments on that. Even Melody thought that her adventures at the sea and with Morgana paled in comparison to this day. Dianne brought in that tomorrow was going to be even more so, celebrating Melody's 13th birthday officially while at the same time… introducing their monster friends to the rest of the populace! The kids groaned, wondering what kind of day that would be. They best tried to keep it out of their heads, least they get a headache equal to the one that Will was experiencing about now.

Melody said tiredly, "Look, let's all just take a nap. Right here, right now. We'll worry about other stuff later.". The five royal kids agreed to that, and Melody pulled some spare sheets and pillows from her closet to give to the boys. Each one took a spot in the room, careful not to bump or accidentally touch someone where they should not touch, they laid down and fell blissfully into sweet darkness. The entire event had tuckered them out, and as soon as they were out, light snores could be heard. Luckily for them, the servants were given instructions not to wake the kids up, thanks to Ariel. The Twin Fairies were put into one of Melody's dollhouses, and fortunately for the tiny girls, it was made to both great scale and came with real furniture. The ones who crafted both the house and the items inside went all out, and took great pride and care in their work. The entire lot was now in Dreamland, and it was here that some of the kids had interesting dreams, just like Melody did some nights ago. With Dianne:

~Dream world~

Dianne was waking up in a bedroom, one that looked familiar to her yet not. She recognized it as her parents' bedroom, one she used to play in as a little girl. However, the decorations in the room were all different and the furniture was also different. She got up and looked around, wondering why she was in such a place. She saw a mirror nearby and went to it to see… herself! 'Why, that's… that's me! I'm an adult!' she thought as she gasped to see the new her. She saw that her dark brown hair was long and luxurious, just like her mother. It was slightly wavy, giving off the illusion that it was constantly being blown about by a slight breeze. Her eyes were still sky blue, but had more wisdom and insight then even she thought was possible. Her figure was also astounding to say the least! She was tall, about a head higher then her mother Aurora, and her features were… well, amazing. She had an ample bosom, which made her blush big time, seeing that they were fuller and larger then her mother's. Her body was trim and slim, and she felt power coursing through her muscles. She had on a dress that was beautiful, simple and just her size.

As she was admiring herself in the mirror, taking in everything, she heard a familiar voice coming out from the hallway. The voice stated, "Dear, it's time to go and visit Melody and her family! They should be expecting our arrival soon!".

Dianne thought, 'Soon? If this is home, then the trip to Melody's home would take a few days. Not mere moments.'. She went outside of her room to see that this was indeed her home, the castle where she and her brother grew up in. Dianne walked downstairs to see that waiting for her was a handsome young man of around twenty-six or so years of age. He was also dressed a little differently then the rest of the people that were downstairs, a little more of the Arabian culture then the French culture. On his right hip was a familiar dagger… and that is when it hit her! The handsome man waiting for her was none other than Hadrian/Hazael! He was all grown up, as was she, and also looking very good in her eyes! By his side were two four year-olds; one boy, one girl. Both had dark skin, but both had the same sky blue eyes… her eyes! The kids by Hadrian's side were hers! Dianne was so surprised, yet also so happy to see the group. When she reached the bottom level for the stairs, the kids ran from Hadrian's side and hugged her tightly. They kept calling her "Mommy" and the word just filled her with pride and joy. She hugged them back, kissing them on the foreheads and letting them drag her to her husband. A ring on their hands symbolized that they were indeed married to one another.

Hadrian kissed her and said, "Good afternoon, my Queen Dianne. Very good to see that you are up and about. Our friend is waiting for us outside, and ready to take us to Melody's home. Your brother and Kathrin are already there, so we better get going.". She just nodded her head, wondering on how they were going to get to Melody's home in England. The group went together outside to the back courtyard and waiting outside was… Rodan! The giant pteranodon looked have not aged at all, still strong and powerful just like she remembered him. Once he saw her and the family enter to the courtyard, he screeched loudly in what could be described as happiness! Dianne went to her friend, and the flying dinosaur bent his head down so that she could hug him. Dianne was glad to see Rodan here, and looking around, it seemed that her people also accepted the monster gladly.

Hadrian looked to Dianne and said, "Come one, let us go! Rodan will take us to Melody's home! Our stuff should be there once the ship we sent out earlier docks at the harbor!". The queen of the realm smiled brightly, seeing that her friend was going to fly her family to Melody's kingdom! It seems the little ones loved to fly on Rodan, because they were soon yelling in joy. Rodan lowered himself down, and a special portable ramp of sort was brought out by some servants. Hadrian was first, picking the kids up and setting them on the front of the giant pteranodon. Dianne would have been nervous about little ones, especially her own, being on a giant dinosaur. However, strange as it seems, she was not worried. Coming into her mind were the Three Good Fairies, her godmothers that went from her mother Aurora to her now. They had cast a spell on Rodan that would allow her and her family to stay put on the monster even when he took flight. Letting out a little sigh, Dianne climbed the steps, helped up on the last step by Hadrian, and taking the middle part of Rodan's neck. The children were in front of her, close to the long spikes that made the monster's head crest. Fortunately, the kids were too small in and a position where if Rodan had to lean his head back, the spikes would not come near the kids.

Hadrian exclaimed, "Okay Rodan, let us be off! To Melody's home!". Rodan let out his signature screech, the humans around him covering their ears and making sure they were anchored to something. The monster flapped his mighty wings, and a huge gust of wind threatened to lift up the people that were in the courtyard. The people seemed to anticipate this, thus anchoring themselves to whatever they could grab onto. Rodan flapped his wings a few more times, and they were now at a level above the castle walls! The monster screeched one more time before taking off fast into the wild blue sky! The children squealed in delight and held up their small arms, their hands now going through white clouds and feeling the moisture and wind on their hands. Dianne did the same, holding up her hands as she flew fast through the air on her old friend. Hadrian did the same, as it seems that the entire family loved to fly, free and fast! Dianne saw many landmarks down below, and the people below her waved to them as they passed by. It seems that Rodan was accepted very much throughout the kingdom.

The queen looked at her husband, then at her kids. She sighed and thought, 'This is one amazing moment! I wish it could last…'.

~End Dream world~

A small moan escaped her lips, and Dianne groggily opened her eyes. She was now back in the waking world, and it seemed that she had been out for awhile. Perhaps an hour and a half or so. She rubbed the dust from her eyes and looked around, seeing that her friends were still asleep. And from the smiles on their faces, it seemed that they were having some excellent dreams… just like she did just now. She said to herself, "That was so dream. Was it just a dream or… something more?". She blushed a bit when she remembered seeing Hadrian's adult form, and some feelings inside her were welling up. It was small at first, but it was still in her heart like embers. She felt it when she was with the young Arabic boy, and it inflamed when she took his hand. She did not understand it, but that did not mean she did not like it. On the contrary, she did like it very much! She had no idea what was going on with her, and she assumed that the others felt the same when they were with their crushes.

She looked out the window, and saw that everything was now peaceful. It seemed that the moms had been able to settle the chaos, and that was a very good thing. She looked over the horizon and sighed, whispering, "I really hope things go smooth tomorrow. And… I hope to have another dream like that again.".

In the words of a certain famous princess… a dream is a wish the heart makes!

(Author's Notes: Well, this was certainly a long chapter to do! I hope you all are satisfied. It seems that the monsters have another ally on the land, so let us hope that they will gain an ocean ally after Melody's party! If you were the ones planning for the party and decorations, would you get it right… or make chaos like the husbands did? I learned the hard way that planning for any big event is no easy task. And finally… expect some other characters to come! I'll give you a hint: they are the ones that aided Cinderella and the other queens long ago!

In the next chapter… the big day! Melody's birthday, and the introduction of Godzilla and the others to the population! Also, Shadowsneak and his men make a move on that day, so be prepared to see some intense action! And finally, expect to see another original song from me! I hope that you are all ready! Also, if you had any of the monsters as sort of transportation service, who would it be and where would you take him or her?
