(A/N Adopted from Liberation12.)

Summary: Light and Shadow. Yin and Yang. "Where there is light, there is also shadow." Naruto Uzumaki couldn't help but laugh at this statement. He was the very definition of this phrase. But he didn't mind. He would live like always – with a smile and helping those in need. Oh yeah, there would also be the fight between the two dragons where he gets directly in the middle.

"Speech."

'Think.'

"Hey, everything is fine," Naruto said with a smile. He was kneeling in front of a crying boy at the moment. The little boy had fallen and injured his leg. The boy was crying, and the mother was standing right behind the boy. Naruto had just passed by chance and had noticed that. He could never ignore a child's crying or other people who need help.

He held one hand over the place where the boy's knee was and the other he held in front of his face. He closed his eyes and began to speak a few words in a low voice. The boy's mother could immediately see that Naruto was at the bedside. The way he held his hand in front of his face was the usual position when praying with only one hand. It was completely straight as if you were forming your hand into a blade.

Naruto had spiky, golden blonde hair and blue eyes like the ocean itself. He had six exotic whisker marks on his face, and Naruto was wearing gray pants, a white shirt with long sleeves, and brown shoes at the moment.

The mother could feel something strange. It was as if an unknown and pleasant warmth emanated from Naruto. He and her son were wrapped in a golden light, and the wound on the child's leg slowly began to heal.

She couldn't believe it. The wound that her son had sustained a minute ago began to close. She had big eyes, and everything she could think of was a miracle! Naruto stopped speaking and opened his eyes. He put one hand on the boy's head and the other on his knee, where he was leaning.

The golden light that had surrounded the two of them a few seconds ago had disappeared when Naruto stopped saying soft words. "See? Now everything is fine again, isn't it?" Naruto asked with a gentle smile.

The child nodded with a smile. You could still see a tear in his eyes, but the child was no longer in pain. "Thank you very much, mister," said the child. Naruto got up and helped the child to his feet.

"Watch out from now on, ok?" Naruto asked while he leaned forward a little and could look at the child better.

The child nodded happily, and he looked at his mother. "Mom, the mister just made my injury disappear! Is the Mister a saint?" asked the child.

"Thank you very much for helping my son," the mother said with a smile. She still didn't know what she had just seen. But one thing was clear: she had just witnessed a true miracle.

Naruto shook his head. "Please... I was happy to help," Naruto said. He waved to the two as they walked away. He smiled and took his hand down again as he turned.

He started walking again in peace and held his school bag over his shoulder. It was a pleasant day, and since today was Friday, it was now the weekend. This meant that he could continue to write his book in peace and train a bit. Constantly improving your skills was a must if you live in a world full of supernatural beings, unlike normal humans.

Of course, there were enough people who could take on many supernatural beings, and Naruto was one of them. Humans probably had a general disadvantage because they were not naturally stronger. Still, with enough training, even a human could become very strong and hold his own against even the strongest supernatural beings.

Naruto enjoyed the peace that prevailed in Kuoh at the moment. He was about to go home, but before that, his destination was another place. He walked to the southern part of Kuoh and smiled the whole time. Some people walked past Naruto and greeted him. He was known here in the area because he often helped others with normal things. The older people in the area especially knew Naruto.

He helped them with gardening and went shopping for some other things. He didn't know it himself, but he was considered a saint by some. Some people knew of his ability to perform certain miracles, such as healing wounds. These people didn't tell anyone about it at Naruto's request.

"Naruto!" said a man.

"Oh, hello, Kled!" Naruto said. He went to the garden fence of a house and shook Kled's hand. Kled had his own family and was a car mechanic. Naruto had already saved his daughter from a few guys, and so the two knew each other. He also made sure that Kled's sick wife was healed again by a miracle.

"How are you, my boy?" asked Kled. Kled was 35 years old and had short brown hair and green eyes. He usually wore a simple shirt and blue pants. He was one of those people who was satisfied with little. He didn't have particularly expensive clothes, although he could afford them. But his comfortable and not particularly expensive clothes were enough for him. He always said that his clothes just had to be comfortable.

"I'm fine, thank you. How are you and your family?" Naruto asked.

"Rukia is doing well, as usual. Since you helped us, she's never had any problems again," Kled said. "Kikyo is also doing well. She sometimes asks me where you are. She'd love to walk through the mall with you again," Kled said. Rukia was his wife, and Kikyo was his daughter. The woman was Kled's age, and Kikyo was 8 years old.

"I could come over again next week so that Kikyo can get her way," Naruto said.

"She would certainly be happy about that," Kled said with a smile.

"Then we'll do it this way. But unfortunately, I still have something to do, and that's why I have to say goodbye. Say hello to your wife and daughter from me, Kled. I wish you all the best," Naruto said with a smile. His golden blond hair was once again particularly emphasized by the sun's rays. Kled just nodded and watched Naruto as he walked towards the cemetery.

'Tragic what happened to Naruto's parents. Yet they were such kind people,' thought Kled to himself. Naruto's parents were called Minato and Kushina Uzumaki. Both had been members of the Church in Tokyo at the time. Naruto had grown up in Tokyo, and there he also had a few friends whom he visited from time to time. But he had been living here in Kuoh for 4 years and enjoyed his quiet life as a writer. He was 20 years old and was already a young adult. He had already published three books on different topics.

He had a good life here in Kuoh. He knew many good-natured people and helped them. He could concentrate on his books here in peace when he was not training. Of course, he helped the people as best he could. Of course, he knew about the devils in the city, but they didn't hurt anyone—at least the devils who ruled over this city. Naruto had often seen a devil come out of a person's house and then teleport away with some magic. It was no secret that some people used the services of devils and paid for them. Be it with money or other goods.

Kled, Rukia, and Kikyo, for example, also used the services of devils from time to time. Naruto had nothing against devils or other supernatural beings in general. Every being, be it human, devil, fallen angel, or any other being, had a right to live. Naruto only had something against certain beings who murdered for no reason and committed other oppression or other atrocities.

After some time, Naruto stood in a cemetery while the sun was already slowly setting. The entire cemetery was soaked in a warm orange. It was a nice atmosphere to visit the dead parents.

Against a certain group of people, Naruto had something... the members of the church who had murdered both of his parents. His parents had a similar view to Naruto when it came to other beings. Usually, devils and fallen angels were the main opponents of the church. But it had often been the case that Minato and Kushina had helped devils.

The church found out about it at some point, and that's why they had the two killed—at least one person in the church. Naruto was still trying to find out who exactly had ordered the murder of his parents.

He knelt in front of the grave of both his parents and placed a bouquet on the grave. He took a pack of cigarettes out of his trouser pocket and took a cigarette out of the pack. He put the pack of cigarettes back in his pocket and then took the lighter out of his pocket. It wasn't exactly normal for someone from the church to smoke. But Naruto wasn't part of the church, and although he was well raised by his parents and learned a lot from them, the cigarettes had helped him to get over the death of his parents.

He found it satisfying every time he smoked a cigarette. It was a distraction for a brief moment, and smoking always calmed him down and made him think more clearly. By now, he did it more out of habit than anything else, but he still liked to smoke.

He lit the cigarette and then put the lighter back in his pocket. He took the cigarette between his index and middle fingers and took a drag on it. He felt the familiar feeling in his throat from the cigarette smoke and sighed as he blew the smoke out into the world. He looked at the grave and just smiled. 'I haven't heard your voices for 3 years. I'm fine, and I'll continue to help people like you taught me,' Naruto thought.

He remembered all the hours Naruto trained with his father. His father had been a strong exorcist known as Yellow Flash. He was extremely fast, and many beings had feared him. He could use special magic, which he could teleport from one moment to the next, and on top of that, there was the raw manipulation of magic.

Unfortunately, Naruto didn't have the gift of using magic like both his parents, but he had a different ability since he was born. He could perform miracles, such as healing wounds, creating holy water, or creating sacred barriers, which were particularly effective against beings of darkness or, of course, exorcism. Naruto was able to use Holy Power in its purest form. He was also able to concentrate Holy Power in his fists and thus use extra damage to beings of darkness. Naruto called this ability Holy Fist, which he had invented himself. Of course, he could also surround other parts of his body with his Holy Aura and thus cause extra damage to beings of darkness. Through his training from an early age, he also had superhuman strength and speed. Due to his long training and his skills, he was able to hold his own against supernatural beings, and since he had to fight mostly devils, his abilities were even more effective.

Naruto smoked his cigarette in peace and always looked at his parents' grave. He smiled all the time, as usual, and yet he still felt that pain from back then. This pain was because he was too late. Just because his parents didn't want to reveal the big secret of Naruto's abilities, they didn't tell him anything, and they had to fight alone against many opponents. Naruto only noticed something of the fight when it was already over, and both his parents were lying on the ground with fatal injuries. Naruto had tried to save both of his parents, of course, but he was too late. While he was still running to them, they died. He could only see how they kissed once before both lost the shine in their eyes, and both died.

An hour later, Naruto was walking through the streets of Kuoh with a cigarette in his mouth. There was always once a month when Naruto visited his parents. That day, he smoked more than usual. He stopped when he saw a nun. 'What is a nun doing here? As far as I know, the church in Kuoh is no longer officially used,' Naruto thought to himself.

Of course, he hadn't been there for ages, but it was still strange. Why was there a nun in town with a large suitcase in both hands? 'I should make sure that everything is okay with the nun.' Naruto thought to himself.

He smiled and looked left and right before walking across the street. The nun looked around and apparently tried to orient herself. You could tell right away that she wasn't from Japan. Naruto's parents weren't from Japan either. Minato came from Italy, and Kushina from Germany. The two had met in Japan during a vacation and fell in love with each other right away. That's why Naruto didn't look like a typical Japanese. He looked like a European and not like a Japanese, and the nun also looked like from Europe.

"Hello, do you need help?" Naruto asked. The nun was slightly startled and turned around. She saw Naruto and looked at him for a moment, confused, and then said. "Um... how was that?" asked the nun.

'Italian... I see. She must be from Italy, no wonder she didn't understand me,' Naruto thought to himself. Naruto could speak more than just Japanese. He spoke Japanese, Italian, English, and German.

Naruto replied in perfect Italian, "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. You looked a bit lost, and I wanted to ask if you need help with something?" Naruto asked with a warm smile.

"Oh! You also speak Italian, I'm so glad," Asia said with a smile. She had really gotten lost and had already tried to ask someone for directions, but so far, no one could understand her because she could only speak Italian.

"Yes, my father is from Italy," Naruto said. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki; I'm glad." His smile seemed to radiate a warmth that made Asia feel so safe. She always felt this warmth and this security when she was praying. It was a wonderful feeling.

It was as if she could feel the warmth of God at the moment. "My name is Asia Argento; I'm very happy, Naruto." She smiled with an innocence rarely seen. People like Asia were rare in the world, and many people unfortunately only took advantage of people like Asia.

Naruto just smiled. "May I know why you seem so lost at the moment?" Naruto asked.

Asia nodded, "I'm a bit lost. I came here to Japan from Italy to join the church here in Kuoh," Asia explained.

"Understand. Would you like me to show you the way?" Naruto asked with a smile. Although he smiled, the alarm bells went off for him. He knew full well that the church was no longer officially used, so Asia was not telling the whole truth. He believed her that she wanted to join the church... But there was more than she might have known. He had seen fallen angels in the area in the last few weeks.

'It looks like some fallen angels have spread out in the church. That could still lead to problems,' Naruto thought to himself. If the fallen angels and the devils were to fight with each other in the city, innocent people could be caught in the crossfire.

Asia smiled with joy. "That would help me a lot; I would be very grateful to you for that," said Asia. She was really beaming. Naruto could only imagine that Asia had been tricked. Such an innocent nun would never get involved with fallen angels, at least not of her own free will.

"Ok, then give me your suitcase. I'll wear it for you," Naruto said. Asia was a whole head shorter than Naruto, and although she was already 17 years old, she was rather short. Naruto could see that she was having trouble carrying this big brown suitcase.

"Oh, you really don't need that!" said Asia, a little embarrassed.

He shook his head and just smiled. "Don't worry, I'm happy to do it. As a man, I feel obliged to take a lady's luggage when it's heavy," Naruto said.

Asia blushed a bit and just nodded, a little embarrassed. When Naruto touched her hand lightly when he took the suitcase from both hands, her eyes widened slightly. So far, she had only felt this warmth slightly, but in the short moment, she had felt it much stronger. This warmth, this security, this feeling... as if God himself were standing before her. It was this feeling when she prayed, only much stronger.

"God..." she said something off-track. Naruto looked at her, a bit confused, and now held the suitcase next to him. "Are you okay, Asia?" Naruto asked. Asia seemed to be broken out of a trance when Naruto said her name.

"Huh? What happened?" Asia asked, a little confused.

"You were suddenly absent and didn't seem to be quite with you. Are you okay?" Naruto asked.

"Um... yes," said Asia. She was still a little confused about what had just happened.

Naruto smiled and said, "Then let's go. After all, the sun is already setting, and we want to arrive at the church in daylight, don't we?"

Asia smiled and nodded. "Yes."

Both of them started walking calmly, and Naruto smiled. He enjoyed the peace that was around him, and as usual, some people greeted him on the way to the church.

"You're very well known, Naruto-san," Asia said with a smile. She could see right away that Naruto was very popular with the people here in Kuoh. They seemed to know him all and like him all.

Naruto was waving to a human, and then he smiled at her. "I've helped people several times, and that's why I know some people here. Through my work, I can afford something like that," Naruto said.

"That's so kind of you! You're a very nice person, Naruto-san," Asia said with a smile.

"My parents were both in church, and I learned a lot from them," Naruto said.

"Oh, your parents were part of the church?" Asia asked, a little surprised.

"Yes, they were part of the church community in Tokyo," Naruto said.

"Are you also a member of the church?" asked Asia.

"No, I've never officially been a member of the church. I only ever went to church with my parents, but I was never a member like you or my parents," Naruto said. Before Asia could ask anything again, they both heard a little boy.

Naruto and Asia stopped and looked around. A little boy was on the ground, holding his leg. Naruto and Asia walked directly to the boy, and just as Naruto was about to put down the suitcase to help the boys, Asia knelt in front of the boy and held both hands in front of the boy's wound.

Naruto felt that familiar feeling again, as he had done so many times before. 'There it is again... that feeling when someone uses a Sacred Gear,' Naruto thought to himself. Ever since he could remember, he could always sense when a Sacred Gear was being used near him. He didn't know why he could feel Sacred Gears. He could do it, just like using his abilities. He could do it, although no one else could use these abilities like Naruto.

Two rings appeared on Asia's ring fingers and started to glow green. Again, Naruto heard that voice in his head. Twilight Healing Naruto narrowed his eyes as he looked around. Whenever he felt and saw someone using a Sacred Gear, he heard a deep and soft voice in his head. This voice always said the name of the Sacred Gear, and for whatever reason, Naruto knew directly what this Sacred Gear could do exactly.

'Twilight Healing... a Sacred Gear, with which you can create miracles to heal others. It's similar to my ability, but it works a little differently,' Naruto thought to himself. He works a miracle with a prayer, but Twilight Healing does not require prayer. Twilight Healing can heal others from any damage. It was one of the strongest Sacred Gear when it came to healing. It could also be the strongest in this category.

Naruto just smiled as Asia took care of the boy. 'Never in her life would such an innocent nun voluntarily associate herself with fallen angels. I guess I have to get involved. I cannot allow Asia to be exploited. Especially with her Sacred Gear, she is in even greater danger. It could well be that the fallen angels lured her here to Kuoh just because of her abilities,' Naruto thought to himself.

A few minutes later, the two walked side by side again and enjoyed the silence. Asia was glad that she could help someone again with the gift that she had received from God. She was sure that she would get her big wish fulfilled at some point. She would continue to believe firmly in God and pray to Him, as usual.

After a few minutes, both could see the church, which was on a hill and a bit outside of Kuoh. The church still looked good, although it was officially no longer open. Of course, Asia didn't know anything about it, but that wasn't so important.

"It's already there," Naruto said with a smile. A few minutes later, both were as good as there, but before they could walk the last few meters, a scream came from the lonely house, which was also just outside Kuoh. Naruto narrowed his eyes when he recognized this voice directly.

"Lea!" Naruto ran straight away, creating a cloud of dust. Asia had to hold her hands in front of her face; otherwise, she would have gotten some dust on her eyes. She looked in the direction of the house and started running. Asia couldn't even see Naruto anymore, even though she had only held her hands in front of her eyes for 2 seconds.

She just hoped that everything was okay with Naruto. He was the first person to understand her here in Japan, and he was always so nice. In addition, she felt this warmth with him. She still couldn't explain it, but Naruto just made you feel good. It was as if God was standing right in front of you or you were right next to a sun.

Naruto appeared out of nowhere in front of Asia and held an unconscious woman in his arms. "I'll explain everything, Asia, but please heal Lea first. She suffered a severe wound to her stomach and needs your help," Naruto said.

Asia was a little startled when Naruto appeared out of nowhere in front of her and held the woman in both hands. The woman had a deep flesh wound on her stomach, and she was panting heavily. Asia had to catch herself for a moment before she just nodded. Naruto turned around and disappeared again after a step. Asia looked briefly at the place where Naruto had disappeared in a flickering movement, and then she concentrated on healing this injured woman.

Naruto appeared in the house and looked at the devil, who was just about to eat Lea's husband. Naruto stormed straight away, and a golden aura surrounded his right fist.

The devil was not normal. It was one of those devils who had turned into a monster. Naruto still didn't understand why the devils changed so much. Devils were actually just like humans, only with special abilities. They looked like people needed food, drink, sleep, and all the other things that humans needed to survive.

Naruto struck the devil with his fist reinforced in Holy Aura. The devil flew through the room and screamed in pain. The golden aura around his fist disappeared, and at the same time, he knelt in front of the man and held a hand over his chest. The man was already as good as death from the severe wounds, but he still had a small breath of life in him.

The devil had flown through the wall and lay outside the house, motionless. Naruto's single punch was enough to kill the devil. His Holy Fist was very effective against devils, especially against devils like this monster that ate humans.

Naruto closed his eyes, held his other hand in front of his face, and began to speak soft words. The room was enveloped in a golden light, and individual golden particles of light appeared around the injured man around it.

Asia had just finished healing when she was startled when a dead devil flew through the wall and lay motionless on the right side of the house. Shortly afterward, a golden light came from inside the house. Since Lea was fine again, Asia got up and ran to the house. She could feel it again. This warms as if God were walking directly on earth.

She came very quickly to the room where furniture had been knocked over, where there were deep scars in the floor and the wall, and, of course, the hole where the devil had flown through. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw this spectacle.

A golden aura surrounded Naruto and the man, and individual particles of light surrounded them. The golden light emanated from Naruto. No matter how shocked she was earlier by the experience that Naruto brought her a badly injured woman or the sight of the terrible devil, who now lay dead outside the house... all worries disappeared at the sight and the feeling that went with it.

"God..." Asia said again, and in doing so, she fell into a trance again. Naruto just continued to kneel in front of the man and continued to speak quietly while the man's injuries healed. It wasn't as fast as Asia, but it was just as effective.

After 2 minutes, Naruto stopped talking and opened his eyes. The golden light, the light particles, and the golden aura disappeared around Naruto and the man. At the same time, Asia came out of her trance and looked around in confusion for a moment until she saw Naruto checking the man to see if he was good to go.

Naruto couldn't understand one thing... normally no devil should come near the church. Devils do not avoid holy ground such as churches or shrines for nothing. Lea and her husband's house was very close to the church, so they should have been safe. Why did this devil still dare to break into this house and attack Lea and her husband?

He would still find out. "Asia... I'll explain everything later. But now I must ask you to go to this address. I'll take care of Lea and her husband and everything else," Naruto said, giving her a piece of paper. He stood up and turned to Asia.

Asia just looked into Naruto's blue eyes while he looked at her seriously. Gone was the carefree smile... now Naruto had a serious expression on his face, the likes of which few possessed. Asia just nodded, "I'm going to go... But you have to promise me that you will get in touch! I don't want anything to happen to you," Asia said.

Naruto smiled slightly, "I promise when I'm done here, I'll come to the address and visit you," Naruto said. He accompanied Asia out of the house and then looked at Lea. He sighed with relief when he saw her. She was completely healed again and seemed to be asleep.

Naruto waved to Asia as she ran away. He took his cell phone out of his pocket and dialed a number. He looked at the screen briefly before pressing the button to call. He held his cell phone to his ear and didn't have to wait long.

"Yes... this is me. I need your help," Naruto said. A female voice came from the person he knew from Tokyo.

Naruto frowned, "I know! I'll show my gratitude, don't worry," Naruto said.

The female voice said a few words again, and Naruto just listened. He remained silent for a moment: "I promise... I will accept the assignment from him," Naruto said. The voice said something, "Ok, see you soon," and Naruto hung up. He sighed and went to Lea and picked her up. He couldn't cast magic. He was able to heal the wounds of Lea and her husband, but he couldn't fix the chaos in the house so easily. He needed help from someone from his past. This person could use magic to help him cover up this event.

He brought Leah back into the house and then went to the devil outside the house. Naruto raised his hand and took his lighter out of his pocket. He bent down a little and set fire to the devil's body. He took a few steps back and watched as the flame imprisoned the devil's entire body and slowly turned it to ashes.

After a few minutes, while the body was still burning, the sky changed, and a barrier was erected around the house. Naruto ignored that and just continued to look at the devil as he slowly turned to ashes.

Black feathers flew from the sky, although pitch black would rather describe the color of the colors. Naruto looked over his shoulder and could see the long black hair of the fallen angel.

The black eyes had hardly any emotion in them, as usual. "So... what have you been up to in the last 2 years, Naruto?" asked the fallen angel. Naruto turned around and looked her straight in the eye. The fallen angel did not have breasts as large as most. Her body was not as seductive as the body of other fallen angels, but she was still highly sought after within the Grigori faction. Her eight black wings disappeared into her back, and her long black hair moved back and forth with some tips.
