As you wander around HQ, you come across Amy, happily humming to herself as she skips through the halls.

"Hey Amy!" you call out to her, "What's got you so excited?"

Amy turns, sees you, and races right up to your side. "Sonic!" she chimes, "I'm so happy to see you're out and about!"

"I'm sure that's not why you're singing to yourself," you snark.

"Oh," Amy twists her arms and gives a small blush, "I do have something… or someone in mind…"

"Let me guess…" you roll your eyes, "Is it me?"

"Well… It's sort of Silver."

You're taken back. "Silver?"

"Yeah!" she giggles, "There's something about him… I can't help but think…"

"Think… what?" You're almost afraid to ask, but somehow you need to know…

"I think that Silver…" she grins at you, "… is our son!"

You almost fall over. "What?!"

"Think about it, Sonic!" Amy chimes, "He's from the future, he's a hedgehog, and he's clearly got your heroics!"

You smack your head (nearly tempted to smack hers first). "Amy, that's impossible."

"Are you denying your child, Sonic?"

"First off, Amy," you groan, "He's two-hundred years from the future!"

"He knows all about time travel," Amy replies, "Maybe he's from the past."

"Even so, how was he born if we never even, well, got together?"

"Time travel! Duhhh!"

You sigh in response. "Secondly… There's no genetic link. He's got silver fur, gold eyes, chest fur, psychokinetic powers…!"

Amy shrugs. "Obviously he has recessive genes."

"Amy, we don't have time for this nonsense!" you spat, "For once, stop being so dumb!"

Amy blinks, her feelings look to have been hurt. She then knots her eyebrows and grows furious at you. "Sonic, I'm just trying to stay optimistic here!" she cries, "How come you're never nice to me? Do you really think I'm so horrible? Tell me how you feel!"
