Under mysterious circumstances, Yggdrasil's shutdown transported Momonga to a world of swords and sorcery that superseded the hard-coded limitations of virtual reality. Cautiously planning and ensuring his survival was vital, but a particular slime's casual approach to things could not help but make the Overlord reminisce about Ainz Ooal Gown's glory days.

With the end of DMMO-RPG Yggdrasil approaching, Momonga decided to spend the last moments of the game reminiscing with one of his guildmates, a player with a slime as their race; Rimuru Tempest.
