So originally I was going to have Veronica Vreeland mutate into a fly but I decided not to...Veronica's bias towards Humanimals because her last husband left her for one is petty but I realized I didn't want to depict her as irredeemable
While Ichabod went off to have his little sulk about the his continuing envy of animal powers...The Doctor led them to another patient, a Farmer from the nearby countryside named Eugene Johnson who had mutated into an Anthropomorphic Pig!
Eugene was in the hospital's cafeteria...There they found Eugene draining a bowl of chicken soup and sighing about how he felt even hungrier than he did as a human.
"Eugene…" Said the Doctor "...This is Captain Matoaka of the Fellowship crew and some of her associates...Would you like to tell them about your transformation?"
"Sure," Said Eugene as he picked up his carton of milk and took a sip as the others took a seat at the table.
"So it happened a few nights ago…" Eugene said "...I was doing my rounds around the farm, including giving some of my pigs scritches behind the ears and then when I was headed back into the house I stepped in this puddle of glowing pink goo! I hoped it wasn't radioactive but as I was headed into the house I started transforming started with a curly tail sprouting from my rear end! My story along with that poor girl's story where she transformed after touching a stray cat gave the clue that the transformations are caused by touching an animal…"
"Specifically the last animal you touched…" Donatello sighed "...I don't know if there is a time limit before the 'effect' of the last animal you touched wears off and if that happened and you were touched by the pink ooze I don't know what would happen."
Meanwhile wealthy Gotham Socialite Veronica Vreeland was indulging in a typical rich person hobby, riding horses at the country club, she was riding her favorite horse a beautiful white Andalusian stallion.
After she dismounted and was about to join her friends for lunch...Her right foot sank into the ground, and to her horror she saw this glowing pink ooze welling up from the ground…
Meanwhile Glass Joe got back to his apartment and he saw Dana staring out the window...Trembling violently!
"Dana…" Joe said quietly "...Is something wrong?" Although he already had a feeling he knew what it was.
"I have a feeling…" Dana said "...Something is coming…"
"Did you already hear about what happened at the concert?" Joe asked
"No…" Dana said "...I had a dream while I was taking a nap...About a creature...Half eagle and half lion…"
"A Gryphon…" Joe sighed
"Yes…" Dana said "...A Gryphon...That he was flying down from the stars!"
"He?" Joe raised an eyebrow "The Cubs said the Gryphon Ghost that appeared at the concert was a female Gryphon!"
"Ghost eh?" Dana said "Well maybe the male is coming to avenge her…"
So the chapter was a little too short so I added the bit with Glass Joe and Dana for padding
