Persephone POV:
"Hey Persephone!" Artemis yelled from across the party of Olympus, my half sister and companion in virgin hood.
"Hello Artemis, it is quite the pleasant surprise to see you." I said in a polite tone. "But if you don't mind me asking, where is Athena?"
"Is swear she was just behind me a second ago, must be arguing with Ares again or something." Artemis said.
"Hoot hoot." A nearby owl hooted, i never knew random animals were allowed on Olympus.
"Watch Persephone!" Artemis excitedly bellowed as she pulled her bow and quiver to shoot. "As i show of my skills by killing this annoying owl!"
"Artemis stop!" Athena yelled in a demanding tone, the owl now clinging to her shoulder with it's legs. "She is not a owl you should hurt for fun Artemis."
"Sorry Athena, I didn't know she was your owl." Artemis apologized.
"And she is not some owl." Athena scorned Artemis. "Her name is Nyctimene."
"Nyctimene?" Artemis questioned, she must be confused why Athena would name a wild animal.
"Yes, she was once a mortal woman." Athena explained. "But when her father forced himself on her she fled into the night in shame, and since I felt sorry for her I transformed her into an owl to be my animal companion."
"Oh my gods, that's horrible." Artemis got close to the owl "I am so sorry for what you had to go through Nyctimene."
"Hoot hoot," Nyctimene said in understanding.
"So sisters, what do you think the the occasion is for the party on Olympus?" I asked.
"Haven't you heard?" Artemis asked in surprise. "Today is my brother Apollo's birthday."
"Wait really?!" I asked in astonishment. "Because I haven't seen him anywhere."
"Now that I think of it I haven't seen him too." Artemis replied. "Have you seen him anywhere Athena?"
"I think I saw him enter Aphrodite's palace." Athena answered.
"I will go fetch him." I volunteered, he must think just because its his birthday he can have a night with Aphrodite as his birthday present.
"Oh….ahh..yesss" I heard coming from the palace.
"Apollo!" I yelled from the door. "Stop fucking around and celebrate your birthday like a gentleman!"
"Coming!" I heard from inside the palace.
"I'm here, sorry I'm late." Apollo said nervously. "I was busy doing something…."
"I am that something hehe." Aphrodite giggled.
"Aphrodite!" Apollo said in an embarrassed tone. "Not in front of my best friend Persephone."
"Hehe, come again next time my sweet sweet Apollo." Aphrodite said seductively.
"Apollo, I'm sorry if I was rude earlier but if I may i think it is time you celebrate your birthday properly." I recommended him.
Hades POV:
"Ughh, why do I have to visit Apollo's stupid birthday party." I complained, now is hardly the time to celebrate parties when I am too busy trying to find a suitable guardian of the gates of the underworld.
"Brother!" Zeus yelled from across the party of Olympus, my brother was always the overly theatrical one. "It is so good to see you."
"Now now brother no need for the theatrics, I just came because you told me to." I told him "But while we are here, I would very much like to speak on business in the underwor-"
"Ha! You always were such a stickler brother." Zeus said rudely.
"Ugh." I said as I face palmed. "Anyway do you at the least offer me some ambrosia, I am having a hard time right now."
"Of course." Zeus said while giving me a drink. "Did something happen?"
"Leuce died…." I said bluntly.
"Oh…I see…." Zeus said simpatheticly. "I am sorry for your loss, brother."
"It's fine Zeus" I said in a understanding tone. "But other than that it seems the underworld is without a queen."
"If you want I can give you a new wife." Zeus said. "Any of my daughters can be your choosing."
"I will think about that offer." I said, to think my brother cares so much for me that he will give me a wife is nice.
"Unless they are already taken of course." Zeus said.
"We will see." I said nonchalantly.
"Hey by the way." Zeus said. "Can you help me find Apollo?"
"No." I said begrudgingly.
"Coming!" Apollo said from right behind us, judging by his look it seems he just had a wild time with Aphrodite. "Sorry I am late!"
