KURT!
A brief moment passes that feels like an eternity, but Kurt is still not there.
"Kurt!" Diane yelled, overcome by the pain that was taking over her body.
"This cannot be happening again," Diane thought to herself. Not now, not after everything they had gone through.
Diane instinctively cradled the small bump that was forming on her abdomen, then her eyes slowly moved towards the floor, where she saw a small puddle of blood forming at her feet.
KUUUURRRRT!
Finally, she could hear frantic footsteps coming down the hall.
As Kurt entered the room, the first thing he saw was his wife almost doubled over. It wasn't until he got closer that he saw what was causing the chaotic screams.
Diane, I am right here. Honey, it will be okay.
Kurt could hear the sadness and disappointment in his wife's tone. He thought this time would be different. They had wanted this so badly, and here it was happening again. He also started feeling the loss.
Kurt, we have to go to the hospital. Maybe there is still a chance, Diane strained to say as waves of pain hit her body.
"Kurt, I can't do this again."
Kurt carried his pain-stricken wife to the garage and placed her in the car.
Diane tried not to panic. Those were the last words Diane remembered her husband saying.
