Author Notes: Hi everyone! This is my first ever FanFic that I just decided to give a go... It's pretty short but I just wanted to get a feel for this and see if I liked writing Fanfics etc. If you do like where this could be going then I might consider continuing this!

It was an ordinary evening in Ninjago. The Ninja were hanging out in the monastery doing their own thing. Jay and Cole were playing the newly revised 'Prime Empire' and having come to terms with the game, Lloyd and Kai were egging them on and were shouting instructions as if they were backseat drivers…
Pixal was working on upgrading her Samurai X suit whilst in the company of Nya who was tinkering around on some of the Ninja's vehicles. Zane was in the kitchen cooking up a feast, roast chicken and veggies was on the menu tonight which sounded delicious - well to the ninja anything would be great as long as Cole didn't cook it.
As the Ninja were in their own worlds, doing their own things, there was a knock on the big, grand door of the monastery.
As she walked up to the door, Nya didn't think they were expecting anyone.
'Oh hey!' Nya exclaimed as she saw the Mailman obviously puffed from walking up what was practically a mountain.
'Just this one today. Quite an unusual letter…'.
Nya took the card in her hand and unusual it was.
'Guys! We got mail!'. The Ninja hurried out of the monastery so they could quickly get back to what they were previously doing.
'Who's it from?' Cole was eager to beat Jay in a game he was oh so good at.
'I…don't know' Nya observed the envelope but didn't recognise it, it wasn't like any usual Ninjago letter.
And so they opened it up...
