I don't own The Loud House

I have been working on the Mighty Loud story for some time. I decided to write a chapter, about how the Loud Kids got their power and saved Royal Wood

Orb Explosion Chapter 1

The sky was serene in the tranquil unity above but soon darkened as lightning streaked across it. A mysterious creature launched an attack, eleven glowing figures began to battle, and a formidable beast commenced its destruction. Lincoln awoke from this nightmare, gasping for air. "It was just a dream," Lincoln murmured, rubbing his head. Glancing around, he realized he was in his room. "What a crazy dream," he thought, distracted by a noise from outside.

Lincoln notices his sisters are all awake. "Seems my sisters are up," he remarks, feeling out of sorts. Turning to the reader, he explains, "It's been some time since we last chatted. Forgive my unusual demeanor; it's been a tough day. Since the Ace Savvy convention, not only did Clyde and I miss out on a role in the Ace Savvy movie, but we also ended up as kitty pooper scoopers. And to top it off, my sisters are being hailed as heroes and are starring in the movie," Lincoln reads the sign loudly.

Since my sisters gained popularity, Lincoln took out his phone to show the audience the movie "Ace Savvy and the Full Deck," featuring his sisters in their superhero poses, only to find that Lincoln and Clyde were depicted as kitty litter scoopers. Following the movie's release, my sisters shot to fame, leaving me feeling overshadowed and diminished. While some people teased Lincoln and Clyde about their roles, Clyde managed to shrug it off, but Lincoln struggled, feeling perpetually outshone by his sisters and relegated to being nothing more than their shadow.

Glancing at the clock, he saw it was 5:20 a.m. Lincoln decided to prepare for the day to avoid the bustle of his sister's accomplishments. Rising from the bed, he stepped into the hallway and noticed his sister already in line, prompting confusion until he remembered it was daylight saving time. With that, he grabbed a sign and took his place at the end of the line, patiently awaiting his turn.

The Loud sisters were abuzz, sharing their triumphs from the day before. "I can't believe I scored a hole-in-one five times!" Lori exclaimed with joy. "And I won the beauty contest and have already signed up for the next one," Lola chimed in. Lucy added, "I crafted the perfect poem about darkness and secured first place—I'm so elated I could burst!" Amidst the chatter of victories and achievements, this was the last thing they wanted to hear. As time ticked by, the queue dwindled until it was Lincoln's turn to use the bathroom. Just as Lincoln was about to enter, Lynn Jr. dashed forward, pushed him aside, and claimed the bathroom for herself. "Sorry, Stinkin', you snooze, you lose," Lynn Jr. taunted. Lincoln, picking himself up, was on the verge of retorting but decided against it. With a sigh, he turned and retreated to his room.

Lynn Jr. was taken aback when Lincoln merely shrugged in response to his comment and headed to the bathroom. As time went by, Lincoln managed to use the bathroom without uttering a word. He then made his way downstairs to grab some cereal. Upon entering the kitchen, he noticed his sisters were already eating. He took his place at the table and began pouring milk into his bowl of cereal. However, before he could take a bite, a laser beam blasted across the table, obliterating his breakfast. Lincoln turned to see where it had come from and found Lisa, showcasing her latest invention.

Apologies, my older brother, I was just ensuring that my new invention, the solder laser, was functioning correctly," Lisa explained. She had been working on this for her latest experiment. Lincoln remained silent, merely glancing at his charred bowl of cereal. He rose and returned the milk to the refrigerator. His sisters looked on, a mix of confusion and concern etched on their faces, as they watched him prepare to leave the kitchen for the living room. Just then, one of his sisters called out to him. "Lincoln, what are you doing?" Lori inquired, eager to understand what was troubling her brother. "I'm heading to school," Lincoln replied without meeting her gaze. Lori and the rest of the sisters were taken aback. "Lincoln, we're about to leave once we gather our things. You can wait; besides, you still have an hour and a half before school starts," Lori reasoned. "I can drive you there," she offered. "Thanks, but I'd prefer to walk to school. I need some fresh air," Lincoln said. "Is everything alright, dude?" Luna asked, her concern apparent. "I'm fine, Luna. I'll see you guys later," Lincoln assured her, heading for the door and closing it behind him.

The Loud sisters glanced between the door and the table, murmuring in unison, "I hope Lincoln's okay." Outside, Lincoln was on his way to school, but there was one stop he had to make first. After a short walk, he arrived at Flip's Food and Fuel. He entered the store and soon emerged with a Flippee in hand. With that, he continued to school. "Let's just get this over with," Lincoln muttered as he entered the building. Five hours later, he found himself in math class. It hadn't been a great day; his classmates had laughed at him again, this time for an embarrassing video. Lincoln tried to ignore them, walking away whenever the teacher intervened or threatened to call their parents. For the moment, they left him alone. The teacher was busy lecturing the class until the bell rang. "Okay, class, it's time for lunch, but remember, there's a test tomorrow," Ms. Kate reminded them.

As everyone departed for lunch, Lincoln gathered his belongings and made his way to the hallway, about to enter the cafeteria, when suddenly someone bumped into him. A familiar voice taunted, "Well, well, well, if it isn't Larry Chandler." Trying to ignore the mockery, Lincoln urged, "Leave me alone, Chandler," and attempted to move past him. But Chandler shoved Lincoln against the lockers, trapping him. "Listen here, Larry, you're a loser and you'll always be one. Nobody likes you; you're nothing but a mistake," Chandler sneered. Lincoln remained silent, the words stinging him with the fear that they might be true. Just as Chandler was about to continue, a familiar voice interrupted.

"Would you care to repeat that, McCann?" Chandler whirled around to find Principal Huggins bearing down on him, his displeasure clear. "I... I was just joking," Chandler faltered, trying to mask his anxiety. Huggins stepped past him, flinging open the locker to free Lincoln from its metal grasp. "You're in deep trouble, Chandler," Huggins announced sternly. Before he could act further, Lincoln leaped out and took off running. "Hey, loud! Where do you think you're going?" Huggins shouted after him, but Lincoln was already sprinting down the corridor, tears streaming as he fled the school. "Oh no," Huggins groaned, turning back to Chandler with a scowl of fury. "I can explain, Principal Huggins—" Chandler began, but Huggins interrupted him. "My office, now!" he bellowed, his voice a mix of anger and worry for Lincoln's whereabouts. Lincoln continued his frantic dash until he reached an abandoned building. He ventured inside and, after a few minutes, his pace slowed, and he began to calm down. Just as he was about to take another action, the floor gave way beneath him, and Lincoln plummeted down. He hit the ground with a thud and lay motionless.

Back at Royal Wood Elementary, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, and Zach were in Mr. Johnson's class, realizing Lincoln was absent, which worried the four friends. "How do you think Lincoln is doing?" Clyde asked. All three shook their heads, no sign of certainty. "I haven't seen him since he arrived at school, but I've noticed he's been acting differently," Rusty commented. "I've noticed that too," Liam added. "You don't think he's been taken and replaced by an alien, do you?" Zach speculated, but Rusty quickly dismissed the idea. "Settle down, Lincoln isn't an alien." "So, where could Lincoln be?" Zach pondered. After a brief pause, Clyde suggested, "He might be in the bathroom, or perhaps he had to grab something from his locker. Or he might be walking out the door right now."

After Clyde mentioned the door beginning to open, he couldn't help but smile. Expecting Lincoln, everyone turned to look, but instead, it was Principal Huggins who appeared, looking both scared and worried. "Principal Huggins, why are you here? What's wrong?" Johnson asked, sensing something was amiss. "Ms. Johnson, please step into the hallway; we need to talk," Huggins said, and with that, they both stepped into the hallway for a conversation.

Not long after, Ms. Johnson returned looking worried, which began to concern the four friends. Before they could speak, Ms. Johnson addressed her students. "Okay, class, I need to tell you this," she began. "Something has happened to one of your classmates."

In the principal's office, Principal Huggins was seated at his desk, concluding a conversation with a police officer and a visibly angry couple with red hair, upset about their son's actions. After they departed, he began reviewing some documents until a knock at the door interrupted him. "Come in," Huggins called out. The door opened to reveal Lynn Sr. and Rita Loud. "Mrs. and Mr. Loud, please take a seat; I need to discuss something with you," he said. Lynn Sr. and Rita took their seats. "What is this important matter you need to discuss with us?" Rita inquired.

"It's about one of your kids," Huggin says. With that, the concerned parent starts to wonder which child it could be and what they might have done. "Did Lana bring animals to the school to start a petting zoo again?" Lynn Sr. asks, but Huggin shakes his head 'no'. "Has Lucy summoned spirits and started a haunted school museum?" Rita asks, only to receive another head shake from Huggin, who is relieved that didn't happen. "Did Lola try to turn the school into a pink castle and hold a tea party again?" Lynn Sr. inquires, peering anxiously, but still, Huggin shakes his head 'no', remembering the four weeks it took to return everything to normal. "Please don't tell me Lisa conducted experiments on her classmates again," the couple pleads, but Huggin's head shake 'no' only adds to their confusion.

The parents exchange glances, their thoughts turning to one individual who may be in distress. "It concerns only one Lincoln, correct?" they both inquire. Huggin nods affirmatively and begins to speak. "Indeed, it involves your son Lincoln, but an incident has occurred." Upon hearing this, Rita and Lynn Sr. are overcome with confusion and worry. "What has happened to my son?" Lynn Sr. asks, gripping his wife's hand. Huggin gives a solemn nod, indicating the gravity of the news he is about to deliver.

Okay, as lunchtime began, I was ensuring that everyone was in the cafeteria and not lingering in the hallways. Once I believed the halls were clear, I was heading back to the office when I heard an argument. I went to investigate and saw Lincoln being bullied by a boy named Chandler. Chandler pushed him into a locker and taunted him, saying, "Listen here, Larry, you're a loser and you'll always be one. Nobody likes you; you're nothing but a mistake." The Louds were understandably shocked and angry upon hearing this. After witnessing the entire incident, I intervened to stop Chandler. However, when I tried to check if Lincoln was okay, he ran out of the school, and I was unsure of what he intended to do.

After the incident, Lynn Sr. and Rita Loud were initially angry but quickly became shocked and worried. "He ran out of the school," Rita said, tearing up. "Where is my boy?" Lynn Sr. asked. "I don't know, but I want to call the police so they can look for your son right now. Also, I want to arrange a teacher and parent conference. Chandler's parents will be attending because they are upset about their son bullying you. I've let your daughter go home early so you can explain the situation. It would be best not to mention the bully's name to them."

"We'll make sure of that," Lynn Sr. says, still upset. At the parent-teacher conference, Rita expresses her concern, "I hope my baby is found," which prompts Lynn Sr. to comfort her with a handhold. "Don't worry, honey, they will," he reassures her before they both exit the office. Shortly after, Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Lisa are picked up early from school. It wasn't long before the school called for Lynn Loud Jr., Luan, Luna, Leni, Lori, and Lily to be collected as well. Once they were all home, it became clear that their only brother, Lincoln, was not with them. "Mom, Dad, where is Lincoln? Why isn't he with us?" Lori asks, concerned.

At that moment, all the Loud sisters asked about their brother's whereabouts. Sensing the gravity of the situation, Lynn Sr. and Rita knew it was time to tell them. "Okay, kids," Rita began in a somber tone, prompting the sisters to halt, sensing the seriousness. Rita and Lynn Sr. proceeded to explain the situation, deliberately omitting the bully's name to prevent the sisters from seeking retribution themselves. Once the explanation was complete, the Loud sisters were left to process their emotions, oscillating between anger and concern.

"Where is Lincoln?" Luna asks. "We don't know if the police are looking for him." "He's not in his room," Leni states, prompting everyone to facepalm. "No, Leni, that means Lincoln is missing," Lori clarifies. "Are we going to find him?" Lola and Lana ask, hugging each other. "The police are searching for him," Lynn Sr. informs. "Your mother and I are going with our friend to look for him." "We can help too," Luna suggests, causing the other sisters to cheer, but Rita interjects. "No, you all need to stay here; we don't want to lose anyone else," she insists. They're about to suggest another plan when their father interjects.

"Listen to your mother," Lynn Sr. said loudly, causing them to hesitate. "Sorry, but it's not your job to look for him. Leave this to the adults. Plus, just in case he comes back, you'll be here." With that, Lynn Sr. and his spouse left through the door and got into their friend's car to search for their son. Back in the living room, the Loud sisters remained. "So, are we going to stay here or search for our missing brother?" Lynn Jr. asked. Lori smiled and said, "Let's look for our brother." That made everyone smile."Okay, everyone, here's the plan: Luan and Lynn will search around each school to find a clue about Lincoln's whereabouts. Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily will check Lincoln's friends' houses to ask if they've seen him. Leni, Luna, and I will search Lincoln's favorite spots to see if he's been there," Lori said. Everyone understood, nodded in agreement, and then they put their hands together and chanted, "1, 2, 3, find Lincoln!" With that, they left through the door and began their search for Lincoln.

Six hours had elapsed when Lincoln began to stir and survey his surroundings. "What happened?" Lincoln muttered, seeking an escape. Suddenly, he overheard a voice, "It's around here somewhere," said a man. Stealthily, Lincoln moved towards his hiding spot and observed four individuals: three men, one towering in a black suit and sunglasses, clutching a device; another, medium in stature, conversing into his wristwatch; and the third, a large man scanning the area. A woman, seemingly stronger than the trio was with them. "It must be here," she insisted. Lincoln, bewildered, had no clue what they sought. Then, his gaze fell upon an art print, from which a peculiar glow emanated.

Lincoln swiftly removed the picture, careful not to alert the three spy agents. Once the picture was off, he discovered an orb and paused, captivated. As Lincoln reached out and touched it, the orb began to emit a soft glow. This luminescence drew the attention of the three spies. "Hey, what is that?" inquired the middle spy. "Grab that orb," commanded the female spy. The spies began to follow the light, and Lincoln heard their footsteps as they started to give chase. He ran until he reached the spot where he had fallen. Frantically looking around, he realized there was no apparent way out. "No, no, no," he muttered, "there has to be a way out."

Lincoln surveyed his surroundings and spotted a hole big enough to crawl through. He got down and started to make his way out of the building. Once outside, he gazed at the orb. "Whatever you are, you're important; those people are after you," Lincoln murmured. "I'll keep you safe." He stowed the orb in his backpack and glanced up to find the sky had darkened. "I didn't realize it was this late," he thought, urgency creeping into his steps as he hurried home to avoid trouble.

In the Loud house, the sisters embarked on a quest to locate their missing brother. Lori, Leni, and Luna combed through the mall, with a particular focus on the arcade. Luan and Lynn Jr. ventured to the school, clinging to the hope that Lincoln might have sought refuge there. Concurrently, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily made rounds to Lincoln's friends—Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zach, and Ronnie Anne—in a fruitless search for his presence. Crestfallen, they regrouped at home, spirits dampened by the fruitless endeavor. "Where could Lincoln possibly be?" Lori pondered aloud, fraught with concern for her younger sibling. "I just hope Linky is safe," Leni expressed, her voice tinged with sorrow. "Dude, this is seriously not cool; where could he be?" Luna remarked, her usual cheer replaced by unease. "This day has been utterly gloomy—haha, get it? 'Gloomy'?" Luan attempted humor, though laughter eluded her. "He's out there somewhere, and if anyone dares to mess with him, they'll answer to me," Lynn Jr. declared protectively. "Such a miserable day, indeed," Lucy intoned, sighing heavily with sadness. "I hope Lincoln's okay," Lana managed, tears welling in her eyes, while Lola echoed, "Me too, I miss Linky," her tears spilling over. "I may not often show emotion, but..." Lisa conceded, allowing herself a rare tear. "Poop, poop," Lily voiced, her simple words heavy with concern. As they gathered, united in their worry, the door swung open, revealing the very person they had all been anxiously seeking.

"Lincoln!" the Loud sisters exclaimed. Lincoln looked up and saw his sisters staring at him. "Lincoln, are you okay?" Lori asked with concern. "Where were you, dude?" Luna added, relieved. "So glad you're okay!" "Please don't leave us again," the twins said together, their voices filled with worry.

Lincoln felt a pang of guilt for making his sisters worry. "Lincoln, where have you been, and what happened?" Leni asked. "I don't want to talk about it," Lincoln replied, making the sisters look worried again. Before they could say anything else, they noticed something glowing in Lincoln's bookbag. "Oh, dude, what's that glowing in your bookbag?" Luna asked, curious. Lincoln looked at it and said, "Oh, I found this orb," as he took the glowing orb out to show his sisters.

"Wow, it's beautiful," Lola said, amazed at the orb. "It's so cute," Leni added, loving the orb's beauty. For some reason, the Loud sisters started putting their hands on the orb, and even Lily did the same. After a few seconds, the orb began glowing in different colors and floated in the air. "Lincoln, what's going on?" Lori asked, her voice filled with worry. "I don't know," Lincoln replied, watching as the orb continued to glow faster and faster. Suddenly, the orb exploded in a burst of colorful light, and the Loud siblings were caught in the blast.

"This is just the beginning," a mysterious voice says.
