We are all seated round the table wondering how to start. The silence was too loud.
"Now ,why Lily? Why did you disappear?" I asked her.
"James- "
"She was being threatened" spoke Remus in a voice just above a whisper but still clearly audible.
"From?"
"You-know-who" replied Sirius
"Lily , what did he tell you? You were the head girl and you survived 7 years of Hogwarts with those Slytherins. A true gryffiyndor like you -" I asked her.
" James, they threatened to go after my parents , Petunia and some others"
"Who others?"
" It does not matter who others, what matters is they were not empty threats. They attacked on Petunia's wedding."
"WHAT-?"
" Yes James, and I was there in the wedding invited by Marlene as her plus one, that was the last I saw of Lily" piped in Remus.
"Oh Lily I am so sorry, I know she did not like you alot and then... Are you good?"
"Yes James, it's been years now, but I had to go into hiding."
"Why Lily? Why was he after you? Yes you are a muggleborn but what about other muggleborns? Did he threaten them too ?"
" No."
"Then why is he doing this" asking the question to himself more than her. He was feeling a huge number of things then: Happy that lily was back, confused why Voldemort threatened Lily, hurt that his friends hid something from him and amused by how calm he was now.
