At Priderock early one morning Simba and Rafiki were looking to the kingdom and they were hoping that the battle between Scar and the outlanders would end soon. Meanwhile in Killo Valley which was burned by the hyenas, jackals, Crocs and Vultures in the valley Janja was standing on a rock and then sat down behind him where Cheezi, Chungu, Nne and Tano were sleeping. At Mizimu Grove which was also burned by the outlanders and Scar appeared to the pridelands soon The Lion Guard were in the grove and saw the tree that Makini had planted.
Kion: The Pride Lands were never end while the Lion Guard is here. Just like this tiny tree, we'll keep growing stronger. Scar will never defeat us!
Fuli: We're never give up.
Beshte: We'll fight for what's right.
Ono: We'll defend the Circle of Life!
Bungu: Yeah! What you guys said!
Anga: Lion Guard!
Just then a eagle that they had befriended a while ago appeared.
Kion: Anga? What's going on?
Anga: Ono of the bird patrols spotted Scar's army. Near Mapango Cliffs.
Kion: Then that's where we're going.
The Lion Guard soon began to make their way to Mapango Cliffs.

Kion: Dad? What is it?
Simba: You and the Guard have proven you can defend the Pride Lands. But it hasn't stopped Scar's army. We need a change in strategy. I say, we take the fight with Scar into the Outlands.
(Jasiri and Anga gasp)
Ono: Hapana.
Beshte: No way.
Fuli: Seriously?
Bungu: Bout time, if you ask me.
Simba: It is time. Time to defeat Scar and his followers. Once and for all.
Kion: Dad, even if we defeat Scar's army, we don't know how to defeat Scar himself.
Simba: Without his followers, Scar will he powerless, and we can have peace in the Pride Lands once again.
Jasiri: We can help, too, Your Majesty. My hyenas know the Outlands better that anyone.

Ono: Anga and I will assemble the birds.
Bungu: And I'll get the galagos.
Fuli: Galagos?
Kion: I know what you're thinking. But if we're invading the Outlands, we'll need all the help we can get.
Unknown to them 2 skinks were spying on them and overheard what they were planning.
Shupavu: Invade the Outlands? We better tell Scar.
and the 2 headed off to tell Scar.
Meanwhile in Killo Valley Janja's clan were guarding it so the Lion Guard couldn't reclaim it for the elephants.
Cheezi: Janja! Why can't we go back to our den in the Outlands?
Chungu: Yeah, it's nice and warm back there.
Janja: Cause Scar wants us to guard this dump. So the Lion Guard can't reclaim it for the elephants.
Nne: (grunts) The Lion Guard? I'm tried of always havin' to fight them.
Tano: Yeah! They keep kickin' our tails!
Nne: It's even worse now that they're bigger.
Tano: Kion's roar has gotten bigger, too.
Nne: And he's got lots of other animals helping him.
Tano: Even Jasiri and her hyenas
Cheezi: Yeah, yeah. I know. I know.
Cheezi and Chungu weren't sure about. They remember the moments they had with Jasiri when they were pups. But they abandoned her because of Janja.
Chungu: Hey Cheezi do you think we made the wrong choice of continuing to work with Janja after he fired us back in last wet season?
Cheezi: Now that you say it yeah I mean Janja just manipulating us into joining his clan. Maybe Jasiri was right. I mean her clan seem to be happy respected the Circle of Life. Wonder if we would be too if we did that last wet season.
Chungu: Why are we so confused?
Cheezi: Oh. It all used to be so simple.

We then get a flashback which showed 2 hyena pups.
Jasiri: Catch me if you can Cheezi.
Cheezi: You're on Jasiri.
The 2 were playing tag and were having great fun.
Jasiri: No matter what happens Cheezi we're always be best friends.
Cheezi: Yeah we will be.
Then another hyena pup came.
Chungu: Hey Cheezi Jasiri.
Jasiri: Hey Chungu.
Cheezi: How are you?
Chungu: Good you too.
Jasiri: I'm good Chungu.
Cheezi: Me too.
Cheezi always remember the moment where he and Jasiri watched the sunset together when they snuck into the Pride Lands when they were pups.
Jasiri: Cheezi this is beautiful.
Cheezi: I thought why not watch it Jasiri.
Jasiri: You're so sweet Cheezi.
Cheezi: Thanks Jasiri.
Cheezi always loved that moment but he threw it all away because of Janja manipulated him and Chungu.
Unknown to the hyenas 2 skinks were spying on Cheezi and Chungu and had to report back to Scar.
Back at the volcano Scar was talking with Ushari.
Scar: What an interesting turn of events. Wouldn't you say so Ushari?
Ushari: With the Lion Guard preparing to attack the Outlands? And Cheezi and Chungu thinking of joining Jasiri? I'm not sure interesting is the word I'd use…
Scar: Oh, don't worry, Ushari. I'm always two steps ahead. Ah! Janja! There you are! And you're brought Cheezi and Chungu with you.
Janja: Uh yeah. You, uh, wanted me to bring them with me?
Scar: Oh, yes. It's time for another attack on the Pride Lands.
Cheezi: Another attack Scar? But the Lion Guard just kicked our tails this morning.
Chungu: Maybe we could lay off of 'em for a bit? Give us and the others some time to recover?
Ushari: The Lion Guard is planning to attack the Outlands.
Scar: Perhaps they've learned that Kion is now powerful enough to destroy me.
Janja: Kion can destroy you?
Scar: Oh yes. But Kion would have to use the most powerful roar he can muster. And it would have to be here, in the Caldera. The fire of the volcano would utterly consume me. I'd cease to exist.
Cheezi: Really? Oh…
Scar: So… It's time for the final battle against the Pride Lands. Time to say goodbye to Simba and the Royal Family! But… I'll need the hyenas to distract the Lion Guard for the plan to work.
Chungu: Just distract them?
Scar: You merely have to lure them into their Lair and keep them there while the rest of the plan unfolds.
Janja: Alright we're do that…
Scar: Excellent! Shupavu Will leader you to Lion Guard Lair tonight. Now, Cheezi Chungu go! Prepare the rest of the hyenas! Janja I need to talk to you.
Cheezi: Got it Scar.
Scar: In the meantime, Shupavu, fetch me Reirei, Kiburi and Mzingo. We will need their help as well.
Shupavu: Yes Scar.
As soon as Cheezi and Chungu leaved the Caldera they started whispering.
Chungu: When we're in Lion Guard Lair we're betray Janja?
Cheezi: Yeah.
Back in the Caldera
Scar: If the plan works, we'll soon be rid of the Royal Family and the Lion Guard. And 2 potential traitors.
Ushari: And if the plan doesn't work?
Scar: I'm two steps ahead, Ushari. I already have another plan in place.
Janja: Wait what do you mean 2 potential traitors Scar?
Scar: You see Janja 2 of the skinks overheard Cheezi and Chungu in Killo Valley about leaving your clan and the army and joining Jasiri.
Janja: They what?!
Scar: Yes that's what the spy's said.
Janja: Oh those two aren't going to get away with betraying us!
Scar: Don't worry Janja they won't. (Laughs)
At Pride Rock King Simba and Kion are preparing their army for the last battle against Scar and his army of Outlanders. Bubu's stable antelopes are clashing their horns together. While Ma Tembo's elephants whipped a piece of wood with their trunks. Ono and Anga were observing the training of their army's bird section. While Beshte was observing Mbaya's rhinos training as they, with the help of their tick-birds charged head-first at the trees. Elsewhere Fuli with Makuu was Observing the training of the army's crocodile faction. As the training was going on, Zazu arrived at The Pride Rock Followed by Hadithi who had brought with him the Gorilla Warrior Shujaa, Zazu files up to Simba and Kion to give them the report.
Simba: Zazu, report.
Zazu: Sire, Hadith has just arrived with the gorilla warrior Shujaa.
Simba: Did you check with Jasiri's clan?
Zazu: Yes I did they know the plan as well.
Kion: That's everyone.
Zazu: Indeed. Bubu's herd, Ma Tembo's herd, Mbaya's crash, Makuu's float, Laini's Galagos and the Birds have alright signed up for the service, Also Basi's Pod, Mjomba's Pack, Twiga's Herd, Swala's Herd, Muhimu's Herd, Thurston's Herd Nyani Grove's Baboons, Mapango Cliffs's Baboons, even Mr. Timon and Mr. Pumbaa have agreed to join us.
Simba: Excellent. When dawn breaks, we're attack.
Simba turns to Kion.
Simba: Kion? I'm going to divide our army into 2 groups. I will leader the first wave of our attack against the Outlanders while you lead the second. That way we will open a free way for you and the Lion Guard through the enemy ranks and towards the volcano.
(With Kion nodding, Simba turns back to Zazu.)
Simba: Zazu, tell everyone to get some rest. We'll need them at their best in the morning.
Zazu: Yes sire.
(After Zazu had left, Simba and Kion resume the observation of their army.)
Simba: With this many animals here, I'm sure Scar will know we're coming. I'm only worried that Scar may have already plotted something against us.
Kion: Yeah. You're probably right about that.
(Simba notices the troubled frown on his son's face as he is deep in his thoughts.)
Simba: Are you okay, son?
Kion: Everyone knows the plan against the Outlanders. I just wish we knew how to defend Scar himself.
Simba: Don't worry, Kion. I know you and the Lion Guard will succeed. I wouldn't ask you to do this if I wasn't certain.
Kion: Thanks, Dad.
Simba: Now, go on. Don't forget, you'll need to get some rest, too.
Kion: Okay.
(As Kion descends down from Pride Rock, he watches over their preparing army while thinking of what tomorrow will bring.)
Kion: So this is my last night before the biggest day of my life can one more big fight Put an end to all this strife? We'll finally end this war Who can know for sure?
Fuli: There goes my worried friend second time I think on his own when he must defend no, he won't be alone I'll be there by his side go with him stride for stride.
Fuli, Beshte and Bungu: So, bring it on tomorrow when the Pride Lands unite we're going in to battle.
Bungu: With bravery.
Beshte: And might.
Fuli, Beshte and Bungu: We'll always do what's right we will stand as one and fight with the end almost in sight on the last night.
(Ono flies over the Guard and the Pride Lands.)
Ono: Everything looks safe and sound but I want to be sure one more flight around will help reassure the skies all seem clear no sign of danger here.
Kion: Yeah, I know everything's in place still those tops make my thoughts race need someone to put my mind at rest before I take this final test.
Kion, Fuli, Ono, Beshte and Bungu: So, bring it on tomorrow when the Pride Lands we're going in to battle with bravery and might.

Meanwhile Shupavu was leading Janja's clan to Pride Rock where the Lion Guard Lair was.
Shupavu: Lion Guard Lair is this way.
Janja: Remember furbrains, we need to keep the Lion Guard distracted for Scar's plan to work.
Nne: Alright Janja.
Unknown to Janja. Cheezi and Chungu were talking about their plan.
Cheezi: Chungu remember when we're newr Lion Guard Lair we're put our plan into action.
Chungu: Got it Cheezi.
Janja: Furbrains come on!
Cheezi: We're coming Janja.
Chungu then saw a lot of animals at Pride Rock.
Chungu: Ohhh! Sure are a lot of Pride Landers gathering at Pride Rock.
Janja: No kiddin' Furbrain. That's why Scar's havin' is attack 'em now.
Shupavu: Shh. We don't want to give ourselves away.
(They soon had the grass rustles.)
Chungu: Oh. What's that?
Janja: Shh!
Then Goigoi appeared.
Cheezi: Goigoi? What are you doing here?
Goigoi: Gettin' branches for the big fire.
Nne: Fire?
Goigoi: Yeah. Things are gonna get real hot for Simba and the Royal Family.
Tano: Oh. Guess that's the other part of Scar's plan.
Goigoi: Yep. I gotta get goin'. Which way to Pride Rock?
Shupavu: Uh, it's right there Goigoi.
Goigoi: Oh. Right.
Shupavu: Come on. We're going around the back.
Kion was still unsure how to beat Scar. So he need some advice from his grandfather Mufasa.
Kion: Grandfather Mufasa?
Mufasa: Yes, Kion. I'm here.
Kion: Dad wants me to lead 1 half on the Pride Landers while he leads the other half into the Outlands tomorrow, to fight Scar?
Mufasa: And this worries you?
Kion: Yeah. I mean… We still don't know how to beat Scar. I don't even know if he can be beaten.
Mufasa: All evil can be defeated.
Kion: Even when it's a lion made of fire?
Mufasa: I believe you can do anything, Kion. Just stay true to who you are inside. And remember… You can't fight fire with fire.
Kion: Can't fight fire with fire…
Meanwhile Shupavu had lead Janja's clan to Pride Rock.
Shupavu: That opening in the rocks in the Lion Guard Lair.
Janja: And we need to keep the Lion Guard distance for Scar's plan to work.
Shupavu: Which means your need to get their attention.
Nne: How're are we gonna to that?
Tano: Yeah Janja how?
Janja: Oh, I know how…
Meanwhile Ono was flying over the Pride Lands one last theme before going to sleep for tomorrow.
Ono: All seems quiet.
(Janja laughing)
Ono: Spoke too soon. Janja and the hyenas? Oh, gotta tell Kion.
Kion was on his way back to Pride Rock for the night before the last battle against Scar's army when Ono came to warn him about Janja and his clan.
Ono: Kion! Kion!
Kion: Ono? What is it?
Ono: I've just spotted Janja and his hyenas. It looks like they're headed for Pride Rock.
Kion: What? Get the rest of the Guard!
Ono: Affirmative!
Janja's clan had just approach Pride Rock to lue the Lion Guard into their Lair however what they didn't know was that Cheezi and Chungu had other plans for the clan.
Cheezi: (Whispering) All right Chungu it's time.
Chungu (Whispering) Alright Cheezi.
Nne: So what happens if we get trapped with the Lion Guard Janja?
Janja: Don't worry Scar said we're be able to get out.
Kion: Hold it right there, Hyenas!
The Lion Guard showed up to send the hyenas back to the Outlands.
Tano: Janja, The Lion Guard are here!
Janja: Yeah I see 'em, Tano. But they can't stop us from getting into their Lair. Come on!
The hyenas followed Janja into the Lair Cheezi and Chungu followed deciding to betray Janja when they're in the Lair.
Bungu: They're headed for the Lair!
Fuli: Why would they do that?
Kion: I dunno. But I'm sure Scar's got 'em up to something. Come on!
The Lion Guard followed the hyenas into the Lair. When they entered Kiburi and his float appeared with branches to set the Lair. They stopped at the entrance and put the branches down.
Kiburi: Keep movin'. We gotta pile up a lot more of this stuff before the vultures arrive. Scar wants to get rid of the Lion Guard and Cheezi and Chungu.
The hyenas were in the Lair and looked around.
Nne: Hey! This place in nicer that our den.
Tano: Lots of cool painting too.
Kion: That's far enough, Janja.
Bungu: Yeah! Get outta out Lair.
Janja: You kiddin'? We just got here. Boys, scatter!
Just as Janja was about to run Cheezi jumping on him and pinning him to the ground. The Lion Guard and the rest of Janja's clan expect Chungu were wondering what Cheezi was Doing. Chungu soon walked toward the two.
Janja: Cheezi Chungu what are you doing?
Cheezi: What me and Chungu should have done last wet season after you fired us we're doing being part of your clan.
Janja: I knew it! Scar was right!
Chungu: You and the rest of the clan never respected us Janja and we're tried of it! We shouldn't have abandoned Jasiri when we were Pups.
Janja: You two are not getting away with it Nne, Tano, Sita Saba run.
The 4 remaining Hyenas did that and Janja kicked Cheezi off him.
Ono: Did Cheezi and Chungu betray Janja? What did they mean by we shouldn't have abandoned Jasiri when we were pups?
Fuli: I think they did. I'm not sure why they said that myself.
Beshte: But what for? Also me too
Kion: Don't matter let's deal with Janja and then ask Cheezi and Chungu why they betrayed Janja and what they meant by we shouldn't have abandoned Jasiri when we were pups.
Bungu: Got it. Zuka Zama!
Fuli: Glad he's on our side.
Kion: Let's go!
Fuli: Huwezi!
Bungu: Yaaaaaah!
Fuli: Keep goin'! Get outta here!
Janja: Keep running guys! Anywhere but out!
Kion: (growls) Janja!
Beshte: Twende Kiboko!
Ono: Ahhh… Wha…? (gasps) Hapana! Kion, we have a problem!
The Lair was on fire like Scar had planned.
Janja: Alright time to get out of here. Nne, Tano, Sita Saba! Follow me! Now!
The 4 hyenas did that and while Janja escaped Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba weren't so lucky. The fire trapped them in the Lair along with Cheezi, Chungu and the Lion Guard.
Nne: Janja!
Tano: What about us?
Sita: Janja get us out of here!
Saba: Save us Janja!
Janja heard their cries for help.
Janja: Nne? Tano? Sita? Saba?
Janja wanted to save them but he couldn't get help from the Pride Landers or Jasiri or even Scar's army. So he leaves them behind to save himself.
Cheezi: What Scar didn't say the fire would-
Chungu: You okay Cheezi?
Cheezi: The Skinks must have overheard us in Killo Valley!
Chungu: What do we do now we can't go back to the volcano.
Kion: Alright Cheezi Chungu what are you up to?
Cheezi: Okay so we were having second thoughts about continuing to be in Janja's clan and wondering what would happen if we redeemed ourselves after Janja fired us last wet season.
Fuli: Really?
Chungu: Yeah we're sorry for what we did Janja manipulated us into joining his clan we should't have done that or abandoned Jasiri when we were pups.
Ono: Wait you two knew Jasiri when you were pups?
Cheezi. Yeah.
They saw that Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba were still in the Lair with them.
Nne: How do we get out of here?
Tano: I don't know how we get out of here Nne.
Sita: Is Janja going to help us?
Saba: I don't think he is.
Kion: Hyenas! Get away from the fire! If it doesn't hurt you, the smoke will.
Ono: Common knowledge, really.
Beshte: Kion? The whole Lair is filling with smoke.
Bungu: Use the Roar to blast us outta here.
Kion: And risk having the whole Lair collapse on us? I don't think so. There's gotta be another way out.
Fuli: (coughing) Well, we better find one soon…
Beshte: Yeah, it looks like all of Pride Rock is on fire.
Kion: Ono! Fly out of here and make sure my mom, dad and Kiara are okay. And then go to Jasiri's territory and tell her to come here.
Ono: Affirmative! Whoa! Hapana… Oh No!
Anga: Ono! You're okay!
Ono: Anga?
Anga: We chased off the vultures. But not before they hit Pride Rock. What do we do?
Ono: Kion's giving me orders. Make sure the Royal Family are okay. I need to go and get Jasiri.
Anga: Your Majesties, are you okay?
Simba: For the moment. You wouldn't have any idea how to Help us get down from here?
Anga: I do. You first Kiara.
Kiara: Hey, wait! Whoaa!
Anga: Anga? Be careful!
Anga: Always am! Be right back. Don't go anywhere.
Bungu: Kion? (coughing) Any ideas?
Kion: The fire's too hot to get close. We're need to wait it out!
Bungu: Hey! We could use the water from Beshte's pool to put it out. See?
Fuli: Seriously?
Bungu: Once the fire gets close enough?
Beshte: I was thinkin'. The water in my pool has to come from somewhere.
Fuli: Like somewhere outside the Lair?
Beshte: Sure. The stream that leads to Lake Shangaza's not too far from here.
Kion: Seems like a good time to find out if it does.
Beshte: Be right back.
Hadith: Your Majesties. Anga says you could use a lift?
Nala: You could say that.
Hadith: Well, Anga. I think the two of us can handle one lion.
Anga: Who's next?
Simba: Nala?
Hadith: Excellent! Ready, Young Anga?
Anga: Always.
Meanwhile at Jasiri's watering hole Jasiri and her clan were asleep for the final battle against Scar's army tomorrow. Jasiri soon sniffed something.
Jasiri: Ono? What is it?
Ono: Kion send me
Jasiri: And why's that.
Ono: Apparently Cheezi and Chungu turned their backs on Janja.
Jasiri: Really? I knew they would redeem themselves. But why tho.
Ono: Cheezi and Chungu wondered what would happen if they redeemed themselves last wet season after Janja fired them. And they also said that they shouldn't have abandoned you. Also the two of them and the rest of Janja's clan are trapped in a fire at Pride Rock.
Jasiri: A fire at Pride Rock?
Ono: Kion, Fuli, Beshte and Bungu are trapped too.
Jasiri: What? There's no time to lose! Let's go!
Ono: Follow me Jasiri.
Back in the Lair Beshte returned from finding out where the water in his pool came from.
Beshte: Guys! Come on! This is our way out!
Kion: Great work, Beshte.
Beshte: It's a bit of a swim. So hold your breath and follow me.
Fuli: Swim? Uh, guys? You know me and water. We don't exactly get along.
Bungu: You'd rather be stuck in all this smoke? (coughing)
Beshte: Don't worry, Fuli. You can just hold on to me. I'll get you though.
Fuli: Thanks, Beshte.
Cheezi: Uh, Kion? Can we come too?
Chungu: Please.
Kion: Since you two are no longer part of Scar's army you can come.
Nne: But what about me, Tano, Sita and Saba?
Tano: Yeah you're not going to leave us in here.
Sita: Yeah we're die if you leave us in here.
Saba: Please can we come too?
Kion: I still respect the Circle Of Life. Even the lives of those who don't.
The 4 hyenas looked at each other wondering why Kion would help them after their crimes. But they decided to listen to him.
Kion: Come on!
Fuli: Ooh!
Beshte: Twende Kiboko.
Bungu: Zuka Zama!
The Lion Guard, Cheezi, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba soon swam out of the Lair.
And soon made to Lake Shangaza.
Beshte: There. Told ya it wasn't so bad.
Fuli: Ugh, speak for yourself. And… (chuckles softly) Thanks, Beshte.
Bungu: Woo-hoo-hoo! That was fun! We gotta do that again sometime.
Cheezi: Yeah.
Chungu: We should.
Kion looked and saw that Pride Rock was still on fire.
Kion: Oh no!
Anga and Hadith had just helped Simba down from Pride Rock.
Simba: Well done! Thank you. Hadithi. Anga.
Hadithi: Of course. Your Majesty.
Anga: Sorry about Pride Rock.
Simba: It will survive. There have been fires there before.
Just then Scar appeared to the Pride Landers.
Scar: (laughing maniacally)
Everyone was shocked to see Scar.
Simba: Scar.
Scar: (sighs) Ah, Simba. You're managed to escape my little scheme. Too bad the same can't be said for the Lion Guard.
Nala: Kion?
Kiara: Oh no!
Kion: Guess again Scar.
There the rest of the Lion Guard, Cheezi, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba were.
Anga: You're okay!
Scar: Ah, Kion. Little leader of the Lion Guard. Time for you to lead everyone out of the Pride Lands. While you still can.
Kion: We'll never surrender to you Scar!
Scar: (scoffs) You don't have the power to defend me. But if you ever care to try, you know where to find me. (laughing maniacally)
Ma Tembo: It's like he knows what we're planning.
Shujaa: Firey lion, scary.
Hadithi: What do we do?
Bubu: Perhaps we should call off the attack.
Kion: no. Everyone, listen. Scar's just trying to scare you.
Bubu: Well, it's working.
Makuu: If Scar can set Pride Rock on fire what chance do we have against him?
Ma Tembo: Kion? We do know how to defeat Scar. Don't we?
Kion: Well…
Kion looks towards Simba.
Kion: Not exactly.
Cheezi: Me and Chungu can you help out there.
Everyone look towards Cheezi, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba.
Just then everyone looked around and saw Ono and Jasiri come to Pride Rock.
Kion: Jasiri you made it.
Jasiri: I did Ono told me about Cheezi and Chungu.
Kion: They also said that they shouldn't have abandoned You when they were pups. Well also Janja abandoned the rest of his clan in the fire to save himself.
Simba: What are all of Janja's hyenas here?
Chungu: We uh…
Cheezi: We know some stuff that might be helpful.
Chungu: To defend Scar.
Simba: How? It's different for me to believe you hyenas have changed sides.
Makuu: Your highness, you gave me a change when no one else in the Pride Land would. So I think you should do the same with these hyenas if they have information that's useful we should use it to beat Scar.
Cheezi: Well we're starting to have second thoughts about Being on the bad side and wondered what would happen if we haven't done that.
Kion: Makuu's right dad. Cheezi and Chungu told us they did what they should have done last wet season after Janja fired them. And we couldn't have left Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba in the Lair.
Simba: Kion. Always willing to forgive your enemies. It's a noble trait. And part of what makes you, you. Very well. Cheezi Chungu.
Chungu: Okay. Scar says that only Kion can destroy him. By using the Roar.
Kion: If the Roar brought Scar back, I guess it could get rid of him, too.
Cheezi: But it's gotta be the most powerful Roar you've got.
Bungu: Oh, yeah! Just blast Scar with the Roar.
Chungu: And you gotta Roar inside the top of the volcano.
Cheezi: So the flames of the volcano overwhelm Scar.
Beshte! The top of the volcano?
Fuli: Huh? Getting there won't be easy.
Ono: Indeed.
Simba: All the more reason to proceed with the plan to attack the Outlands.
Kion: Yeah. But now it's not just about defeating Scar's army. We have a plan to defeat Scar as well.
Jasiri: The Hyenas will help too, Kion.
Cheezi: Yeah. That's right. Me and the rest of my clan will help.
Simba: Very well. Kion?
Kion: Everyone. Get some rest. Tomorrow, we go into the Outlands.
Simba: Scar and his forces will be defeated, once and for all. And we will have peace in the Pride Lands.
(all cheering)
Cheezi: I think we made the right choice Chungu.
Jasiri: You should have Cheezi. (laughs)
Cheezi: You know, I could get used to that laugh.
Unknown to them Shupavu was spying on them and saw that Janja had abandoned the army, and that Cheezi, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba had joined the Pride Landers.
Back at the volcano Scar was taking to Ushari about what Shupavu reported about.
Scar: So predictable. Janja has turned his back on us and the rest of his measly clan have joined the Pride Landers.
Ushari: And you're okay with that? I mean of course you're okay with that.
Scar: Kion may have the power to defeat me. But not the way I told Janja, Cheezi and Chungu. If Kion uses his most powerful Roar here in the Caldera, it won't destroy me. Instead he'll cause an eruption so huge it will destroy the Lion Guard. And turn the Pride Lands into a wasteland.
Ushari: Yes! (hisses) And then we reptiles can take over everything. Under your rule, of course.
Scar: Oh, yes, Ushari. You can have whatever's left… And I'll need you for the next part of my plan.
Ushari: You will?
Scar: Yes. Have I ever told you how I got my Scar?
Ushari: No. No, you haven't.
Scar: I wasn't much older than Kion when it happened. Back when I was leader of my Lion Guard.
Scar: When I was The Lion Guard's fiercest I told most patrols on my own so when I met this strange lion I had no fear of being alone he said he had wisdom and power and the most powerful should be king with help from me and my Roar he and I could rule everything I found his idea intriguing that the most powerful lion was me but this strange lion was scheming and had a friend I didn't see that's how I got my Scar when I lead the Guard the lion would fire the snake's venom as long as I did what he said but I lost control and enraged I roared and destroyed them instead. I expected to be praised near and far for stopping that treacherous thing. But Mufasa just nicknamed me Scar then I knew that he shouldn't be king. That's when I became Scar when I led the Guard. My first plot for vengeance was spoiled when I lost the Roar my second plan later Succeeded Mufasa was king no more. If not for that miserable Simba I'd have ruled Pride Rock to this day. But now it is time for Simba and Kion to pay. That's why I still am Scar from when I led the Guard. Oh-oh that's why I still am Scar. And why I'll destroy the Guard.
Ushari: So, that's how it happened.
Scar: Oh, yes. And so you see Ushari when the time comes I will need your help.
Scar: What's the plan?
Scar: We need to be sure Kion can no longer control the Roar. Which means today is the day Kion gets his scar.
The sun began to rise above the Pride Lands Rafiki saw it and knew it was time to defeat Scar once and for all.
Rafiki: It is time.
Nala and Kiara watched as the sun was rising which means it was time to defeat Scar and his army.
Kion was at the border and looked at the volcano Simba and the Lion Guard were with him.
Kion: Till the Pride Lands end…
Bungu: With all your friends.
Kion looked and saw the army of Pride Landers which included Zebras, Giraffes, Baboons, Gazelles, Crocodiles, Hippos, Elephants, Antelopes, Rhinos, Aardwolves, Birds, Galagos, Timon, Pumbaa, Shujaa, and Jasiri's clan including Cheezi, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba.
Kion: We'll fight for what's right.
Pride Landers: Pride Landers unite.
The Pride Landers began charging into the Outlands to face the Outlanders.
Mzingo: Here they come.
Mzingo flew back to a rock ledge where Kiburi's float, Reirei's pack, Kenge and Sumu were.
Kiburi: And it looks like Janja's abandoned us and his clan have turned against us and not just Cheezi and Chungu but also Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba too.
Reirei: Everything's just like Scar said.
Kiburi: He's smart and that's why we're win.
Mzingo: I hope so. There certainly are a lot of them.
Reirei: Don't worry Mzingo it will be fine.
Kenge: I'll finally get that honey banger and I'll rip him apart.
Sumu: And I'll have the pleasure of stinging the king once again and for all.
Kiburi: Crocodiles, let's go.
Tamka: You got it Kiburi!
And soon the rest of Kiburi's float charged into battle.
Reirei: Jackals! You know what to do.
Kenge and Sumu soon followed the Crocs and Jackals into battle.
Mzingo: Oh. Time to assemble the committee.
Kion: Everyone knows the plan. Keep the Outlanders off me and the Lion Guard so we can get to the top of the volcano.
Ma Tembo: That's what we'll do.
Makuu: Don't worry Kion we'll do just that.
Jasiri: You got it Kion.
Cheezi: Right.
Fuli: Do we have to say please!
Bubu: You just did.
Bungu: And here come the bad guys.
The Pride Landers began battling the Outlanders.
Soon Jasiri's clan, Cheezi, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba helped other Pride Landers battled the Jackals.
Meanwhile the birds were dealing with the Vultures. To keep them from getting to the Lion Guard.
Meanwhile Makuu's float and Pua were dealing with Kiburi's float.
Makuu: Kiburi.
Kiburi: Bring it Makuu.
The two began to battle and then Kiburi leaps towards Makuu but Makuu uses the tail whip to strike Kiburi.
One of Kiburi's crocs were about to attack Makuu. When Hodari jumped on his snout to distract him then one of Makuu's crocs attacked that croc.
Just when things couldn't get worse Kenge was about to help Kiburi kill Makuu when.
Whack!
Pua had interfered and knocked Kenge into another steam vent he managed to hold on by using his claws.
Pua: Kenge bite on to my tail my scale is too thick for your venom.
Kenge: I will not have help from anyone I will find my own way to save myself and I will finish off the greatest Crocodile leader to ever live in the Pride Lands!
Pua: Suit yourself Kenge have fun burning to death.
Kenge tried to find his way out but fell to his death.
Timon and Pumbaa came across Sumu.
Smum: I may have not been able to sting the king but I'll sting his friends.
Timon: Really Meerkat are immune to scorpions. Timon said as he grabbed Sumu by the stinger and removed the dangerous of Sumu leaving him defenceless.
Timon: I only eat bugs mister. Now you're see what I do to bugs like you.
Timon got onto Pumbaa and Pumbaa walked to a steam vent where Timon dropped Sumu in and Sumu burned to death.
No soon had they dealt with Sumu Dogo and Kijana appeared and were about to kill them.
Dogo: Well Kijana looks like we're be having the meerkat for a snack.
Kijana: Yeah Dogo and for the main course we can have the pig.
Pumbaa: Are you talking to me?
Timon: You called him a pig.
Pumbaa: Are you talking to me?
Timon: You shouldn't have done that.
Pumbaa: Are you talking to me?!
Timon: Now you're in for it.
Pumbaa: They Call me Mr. Pig!
Timon climbed onto Pumbaa who soon chased the 2 jackals and Chased them to the rest of the jackal pups. As their were about to walk away Dogo and Kijana's teenaged sidings appeared and they did the same with what they did to Dogo and Kijana.
Meanwhile back with Makuu and Kiburi.
Makuu: Give up Kiburi?
Kiburi: Never Makuu!
Kiburi leaps to kill Makuu. However Makuu thought quickly and moved out of the way and strike Kiburi. Kiburi also falls into a steam vent just like Kenge.
Soon the Pride Landers and Jasiri's clan had cleared a path for the Lion Guard.
Jasiri: You're all clear Kion.
Kion: Right. Lion Guard, with me.
The Lion Guard made their way to the volcano to face Scar. Shupavu saw they were losing and went to tell Scar.
Shupavu: Scar, the Pride Landers are winning. The Lion Guard is headed this way.
Scar: Then it's up to you and your skinks to stop the, Shupavu.
Shupavu: Yes, Scar. Of course. Skinks, with me.
Ushari: You really think they'll be able to stop the Lion Guard?
Scar: (scoffs) Of course not. But the Lion Guard must believe that we don't want them to get here.
Ushari: Yes. (hisses)
Scar: Now, Ushari, get in position. You know what to do when they arrive.
Ushari: Yes. (hisses) Yes, I do.
The Lion Guard began making their way towards the top of the volcano when Shupavu and the skinks showed up. The Lion Guard soon knocked them into the lava. As they made it into the top of the volcano.
Scar: Kion. Lion Guard. Welcome.
Bungu: He does know why we're here, doesn't he?
Scar: I know why you think you're here. But destiny can be full of surprises. Ushari, now!
Ushari then leaps out of hiding and gave Kion a scar on his left eye.
Fuli, Ono, Beshte and Bungu: (gasp)
Beshte: Oh no!
Bungu: Ushari!
Scar: (laughing maniacally) Sisi ni sawa, Kion. Now you have a scar. Just like me. Sisi ni sawa means we're the same though you're made of flesh and i'mare of flame.
Kion: We're not the same! I'll never be like you, Scar.
Bungu: Ooh! Ooh! Use the Roar, Kion. Blast that guy back to where he came from.
Scar: You don't have the power to destroy me, Kion.
Beshte: Don't listen to him!
Fuli: We believe in you.
Kion was about to walk but the bite from Ushari was affecting him.
Kion: Mmm? (groaning.)
Ushari: Finding it difficult to think? My venom has a tendency to do that. (grunts.)
Bungu: Use the Roar, Kion. He's asking for it.
Scar: You have the mark of evil just like me, Kion. Accept your destiny. There is no other choice! At the end of the day we all are fire and flame Sisi ni sawa we are the same. (Scar laughing evilly.)
Kion: Fire and flame?
Mufasa: Stay true to who you are. Don't fight fire with fire.
Kion: Of course! I do have another choice, Scar. Something only one Lion Guard leader can do to another.
Scar: (laughs) And? What's that?
Kion: I forgive you.
Scar: You… You what?
Kion: But I can't judge you for everything you've done in the past. The Lions of the Past need to do that.
Kion then blew at a cloud and soon The Lions of the Past appeared and started blowing. And soon rain started coming out of the clouds.
Scar: No. No!
Ushari: What? Scar's plan failed?
Scar: The Roar is a curse, Kion. You'll see! Sisi ni sawa!
And Scar disappeared, Ushari was so devastated from Scar's defeat and wanted to kill Kion to avenge Scar.
Ushari: Stop! You can't destroy him. (grunts.)
Bungu: Oh, no, you don't!
Ushari: (hisses, groans.)
Bungu and Ushari: (both screaming.)
Ono: I've got you, Bungu!
Ono went into the lava to rescue Bungu.
(Ono straining.)
Bungu: You can do it, Ono!
Ono: (panting) Almost there. There! (grunts, coughs.)
Beshte: Way to go, Ono.
Fuli: Way to go, Kion.
The Lion Guard looked towards the pit where lava used to be and saw that it was drying up.
Beshte: Poa.
The Mark of Evil that resembled Scar was slowly starting to disappear.
Kion: Scar is finally gone. We've won.
The Darkness that blocked the sky from the Caldera disappeared as well as the wind whooshed.
The Lion Guard began to walk out of the Caldera and back to the others.
Jasiri: There they are!
Ma Tembo: The Lion Guard. They're okay!
Jasiri, Cheezi, Makuu, Simba, Basi, Mtoto, Timon and Pumbaa all went up to them.
Jasiri: Kion, your face.
Cheezi: What happened Kion?
Makuu: How did you get that scar on your eye?
Kion: I'll be fine and I'll tell you guys late. More importantly… Everyone, Scar has been defended. The battle for the Pride Lands is over.
The Pride Landers and Outlanders cheered.
Chungu: Wait with Scar gone, who's in charge of the Outlands now?
Nne: Good question.
Reirei: Yeah! What about us?
Cheezi: If you ask me, there's only one animal that can keep the peace between the Pride Lands and the Outlands.
Mzingo: And who's that? You?
Cheezi: Nope, I ain't that dumb. From now on, Jasiri should be in charge of the Outlands.
Jasiri: Me?
Kion: Makes sense to me.
Jasiri then walks up to where Kion and Cheezi are.
Jasiri: Outlanders, I know we can all get along here in the Outlands. Just so long as we respect the Circle of Life. Although this doesn't mean you're getting off scot-free Jackals and Vultures here's your punishment you will only eat once a week though the whole wet season and starting tomorrow I will be making you clean up after heavy rainstorms I will also be keeping an eye on you to make sure you are do it and on days when I'm busy Madoa will be keeping an eye on you. As for the hyenas I will deal with them later.
Cheezi: And if you don't do your punishment then you'll have to answer to Jasiri's new clan mates, which includes me, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba.
Reirei: Don't worry about us. If Jasiri's keeping you in line, the Outlands might actually be livable.
The Jackals soon follow Reirei.
Mzingo being Mzingo had attempted to make this into a political debate.
Until Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba came and growled to make Mzingo shut up.
Mzingo: To the victor belong the spoils!
The vultures soon flew along with Mzingo.
Bungu: There they go.
Ono: Go where? (coughs) Guys? What's going on? Has the smoke from the volcano cleared up yet?
Bungu: Yeah. Like a long time ago.
Ono: Hmm, odd. Everything still looks pretty hazy to me.
Anga: Ono? Your eyes look… different.
Ono: Is that you Anga? Everything's looking a bit fuzzy.
Kion: That rescue must have taken more out of Ono that we realized.
Fuli: He did breathe in a lot of smoke and ash.
Ono: I did. And volcano fumes can be poisonous. It's called vog. Common knowledge, really.
Simba: Don't worry Ono. We'll have Rafiki take a look at you when we get back to Pride Rock.
Beshte: Yeah. He'll know how to help. Come on I'll take you to him!
Ono: Okay.
Anga: I'll be there too, Ono.
Fuli: We all will.
Ono: Thanks everyone.
Jasiri: I'll be there Kion I need to give Cheezi, Chungu, Nne, Tano, Sita and Saba their punishment. Madoa and my hyenas will make sure the rest of the Pride Landers get home safe. But when I'll give Cheezi and the rest of Janja's hyenas their punishment I'll be there Cheezi will be as well.
Cheezi: Yeah I will be.
Kion: Thanks, Jasiri. For everything.
Jasiri: Thank you, Kion. Asante.
Kion soon ran off to catch up with the others. But soon his scar hurt him again.
Kion: Ow! Still hurts.
Kion then looked at his reflection in the water.
Kion: Heyvi Kabisa. The mark, it's just like Scar's.
Bungu: Kion!
Kion: Could Scar be right? Am I destined to turn evil? Just like he did?
Bungu: Hey, Kion, c'mon! Hurry up!
Kion: What if the Roar really is a curse? (winces.)
Bungu: Kion!
Kion accidentally roars at Bungu.
Bungu: Whoa!
Ono: Was that the Roar? What's going on?
Kion: The Roar just came out! I… I didn't mean to. (groans.)
Beshte: I believe you, Kion.
Moto: I do as well.
Basi: If my son believes you I do.
Timon: I do.
Pumbaa: Me as well.
Makuu: I believe you as well Kion.
Fuli: Me too. But we better make sure Bungu's okay.
Ono: Wait, what? Kion Roared at Bungu?
Beshte: Ono, shh. It was an accident!
Anga: I'll find him. Got him! He looks dizzy. But he's fine.

Meanwhile Bungu was dizzy from Kion accidentally Roaring at him.

Kion: Bungu! I'm so sorry. I… I don't know how that happened.
Bungu: Hakuna Matata, Kion. Just warn me before you do it next time, so I can really enjoy it.
Kion: Yeah. I think I'm going to need Rafiki's help, too.
At Pride Rock.
Rafiki: Hmm. Mm? Yes, yes. I'm afraid you are correct, Ono. The vog has seriously hurt your eyesight.
Bungu: Can't you just fix him like you did last time?
Rafiki: Hmm. Last time Ono merely had dirt in his eye. This is more serious. Only time will tell if your vision will return to full strength.
Ono: Oh! (coughs.)
Makini: Don't be sad, Ono. Everyone knows you saved Bungu's life!
Kion: That's right. You were the keenest of sight when you saw Bungu falling into the volcano.
Bungu: And you were the bravest to dive after me!
Fuli: You were the fastest to reach him in time.
Beshte: And the strongest to pull him out.

Ono: (chuckles weakly.) I am the Lion Guard.
Ono then closes his eyes.
Makini: Ono?
Rafiki: Shwari. Makini. Ono needs rest. Now, Kion. About your eye…
Kion: It's more than just my eye. Even since Ushari bit me I… I'm not feeling quite right.
Rafiki: Hmm. Yes… I have seen this sort of injury before. And it is not good.
Bungu: Scar said it's the Mark of Evil. He said it'll make Kion turn bad.
Rafiki: Honey Badger! Hush! Your heart is racing, Kion. I am surprised you are able to stay so calm.
Kion: It's not easy. I even Roared at Bungu by accident.
Rafiki: Makini, Tuliza plant.
Makini: Yes, Rafiki. Of course.
Makini then pulled out a plant with purple flowers on it.
Rafiki: Chew on the Tuliza blossoms, Kion.
Makini: Better?
Kion: Mm-hmm.
Rafiki: The Tuliza will help soothe your discomfort. But it is not a cure.
Just then Jasiri, Cheezi, Makuu, Basi, Moto, Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, Nala and Kiara entered the Lair.
Kiara: Kion! Your face!
Nala: Rafiki, will he be all right?
Rafiki: The venom from Ushari's bite is still inside Kion.
Cheezi: So Ushari bit Kion?
Fuli: He did.
Bungu: Scar had Ushari bite Kion to make turn evil.
Makuu: Was Scar planning to make Kion turn like him?
Beshte: I think he was.
Basi: It wouldn't be good if that happens.
Rafiki: If the venom stays inside him too long, he may no longer know the difference between right and wrong.
Bungu: Just like Scar.
Moto: Does that he could end up like Scar?
Jasiri: If the venom stays inside him too long that is.
Timon: There he would be as bad as Scar.
Pumbaa: We're be in big trouble if he turns out like Scar.
Nala: You can help him get better. Right?
Rafiki: There is no cure for Kion here in the Pride Lands.

Nala: No!
Kion: Rafiki?
Rafiki: But there is still hope! If Kion is to get better, he must seek out mtge Tree of Life.
Makini: Oh, yeah! The Tree of Life! That's where animals with nowhere else to go go to seek help!
Bungu: Wait. You've been there?
Makini: Yeah! But it"s been a while.
Rafiki: Yes! The Tree of Life is where I first met Makini. And then Lion of the Past told me she would be the next Royal Mjuzi.
Makini: The Tree of Life is a safe place for animals who are hurt or sick.
Rafiki: Or if only a few of their kind are left. The Tree of Life is very far away. And not easy to find. But there are landmarks to help guide your way.
Ono: Hmm, yes. I see.
Rafiki: (laughs) Yes, yes. Just follow the paintings on the stones. It is only at the Tree of Life that Kion may find the cure he needs.
Kion: Then that's what I need to do. I need to go to the Tree of Life.
Ono: Maybe the Tree of Life can help me, too.
Makini: Oh, I'm sure it could!
Bungu: Then me, Fuli and Beshte will go with you.
Kion: I don't think so.
Beshte: Why tho?
Kion: If the whole Lion Guard go the Pride Lands are defenceless.
Fuli: Maybe but with Scar and some of his army gone for good and Jasiri in charge of the surviving members there's finally peace in the Pride Lands. I'm sure we wouldn't be needing as much now.
Kion: Mom? Dad?
Nala: After everything you've done for the Pride Lands, I think it's okay for the Lion Guard to help you.
Simba: I agree. Go Kion. And have the Lion Guard go with you.
Beshte: Poa.
Bungu: Hey wait. Ono's not the keenest of Sight anymore. Doesn't the Lion Guard still need that?
Fuli: Bungu!
Ono: No, Bungu's right. I'm not the Keenest of Sight. But I know who is. Anga. You should replace me on the Guard.

Outside Pride Rock the Lion Guard were ready to go to the Tree of Life.

First the Lion Guard walked by Timon and Pumbaa who had wished Bungu luck, then they past Basi's pod when Beshte came Basi said that he wished him luck and that he was proud to have a son like him, then they passed Swala's herd and Ma Tembo's herd as they passed them Beshte stoped and nuzzled Motto before heading off again Motto was about to cry then his mother wrapped her trunk around his head. Next they passed Makuu's float and Pua and Hodari was on Makuu's head to see the Lion Guard leave after Makuu's float was Jasiri's clan including Janja's old clan members. After them was Twiga's herd and Bubu's herd who bout down to the Guard. After them was Mjomba's pack and after them was the rhinos, birds and galagos. Then they passed by the baboons both from Nyani Grove and Mapango Cliffs came to wish them luck and they hugged Fuli who was annoyed at it when the baboon she saved from Mzingo's Parliament during the previous wet season hugged her she didn't mind. They soon passed the zebras.
Thurston: Don't worry, Kion. We zebras will protect the Pride Lands while you're away.

Soon the Lion Guard and Makini were on their way to the tree of life Kion then looked back at Pride Rock.

Mzingo and his vultures were complaining about what Jasiri was having to make them do for the whole wet season they wanted to get revenge on the Lion Guard so bad. Just then they heard a familiar voice.

Janja: Well after I escaped the Lair I left the rest of my clan behind to save myself. So what happened during the final battle?
Mzingo: The Lion Guard managed to defeat Scar and Jasiri became in charge of the Outlands.
Janja: So where are the rest of the army?
Mzingo: Well Kenge, Sumu, the Skinks and Ushari are gone too.
Janja: What about the jackals and crocs?
Mzingo: Well the Jackals and Vultures have been punished by Jasiri by once getting to eat once a week for the entire wet season and cleaning up after heavy rain storms. In the waking of Kiburi's death courtesy of Makuu his float rejoined the Pride Landers. Should we get the Jackals to join us?
