Chapter 8: Duelling, Maturity & Death Eaters
The next day, Harry was nervous. Today was the day he would have another feather in the cap.
He entered the tournament, and people were surprised, but he just stormed through the league matches without losing till the final. In the final, his opponent was Victor Krum, who had never lost a match in theduelingcircuit. People didn't notice him as participants were not allowed to reveal themselves till finals.
Any spells were allowed, including dark arts, except the Unforgivable.
"Welcome to the Final of World Duelling Championship 1994. Both the contenders are undefeated. The final match is between Britain and Bulgaria. The representative of Bulgaria is last year's World Duelling champion, Victor Krum, who is proficient in Dark arts and Defensive and Offensive magic. His opponent is the Lord Harry James Potter, the boy who lived."
People erupted in cheers at his name. He was famous in France too. The gong sounded.
The duel begins with Victor Krum raining down hexes on Harry Potter, which he dodgesquiteefficiently. They both stopped, realizing theywould have todelve deeper into magic to defeat each other. Victor Krum casts a blood-boiling curse, an organ-liquifying curse, and a dark-cutting curse. Harry Potter dodges the first two and gets into the line of fire, only to swat it away. Harry Potter is looking furious now at the use of curses from Victor Krum and goes on the offensive for the first time, starting with a high-speed Expelliarmus that Victor barely dodged, followed by 3 stupefy shield breakers and five stunners. Krum uses a shield to protect him from the high-speed stunners and dodges the other two. The shield breaker breaks his shield, and he is stunned when he tries to raise another shield.
"Harry Potter is the Winner of the World Duelling Championship 1994." The announcer announced, and the audience started cheering.
Harry turned around and saw Evalinge cheering along with Dumbledore and McGonagall smilingandwith pride in their eyes.
Harry left the stadium directly to England. He was not feeling cold and hot at the same time. He felt tired. He felt weak and lousy. He went to find Emily sleeping, took her in his arms, and carried her to his bedroom. Despite her mumbling protests, he changed and slept with his baby in his arms.
Dumbledore, Minerva, and The Parkinson family waited 15 minutes, and Harry hadn't come out of the arena. Just then, a dragon patronus came.
"I am not feeling well. Have returned home. Feeling tired. Going through magical maturity." Harry's weak voice sounded, and Dumbledore nodded to Cyrus and left with Minerva in toe.
Harry's maturity lasted 17 days. Merlin's had lasted 15 days. Morgana's 13 days and 12 hours. Dumbledore's ten days. Grindelwald 11 11 's six days.
Harry also started reading on theory to give his NEWTS in Herbology and Astronomy. He was done by the time maturity ended. He spent a lot of quality time with his daughter. He told her what was happening in the outside world. She had said she was proud that he was the Duelling champion. That smile was not wiped for two days. On4th August, he performed a ritual to purify his body of any foreign leech and for faster healing with blood sacrifice. On the 11th, he did another ritual to bind his familiar Hedwig and see if she could be upgraded. She was turned into a white phoenix. He loved her and told her so. She looked smug, but you could detect the happiness from her.
After that, he again went to start training. His magic cameeasily. He loved the feeling of his magic flowing through his veins. Hepracticedfor a week and could overpower and underpower the spell. He was now at Master level in Battle Defence, Dark Arts, potions, and Warding. He has also created some spells. He had mastered occumulency up to level 6 and was now moving to final level 7. He could now duel up to 14 fully trained Aurors dummies in a duel, using everything he knew. He would now move on to Battle Transfiguration and Battle Charms, mastering the air and ice elemental, animagus, and family magic. He was focusing on learning Gryffindor and Ravenclaw family magic this year.
August 25arrived, and Harry Potter was going to the Quidditch World Cup, as Sirius had received tickets for this due to Crouch being involved in his case. Harry was using his double to keep his daughter happy. She was a demanding child. He loved her; she loved him when he took her to ice creams and movies.
Harry saw Pansy in the stands and felt his eyes soften at the sight of looked at him withneutrality,it wasa progressandHarry smiled at her, but she did not respond.
The matchgotover and everybody was sleeping in tents whenfirestarted, and Harrystarted to leavegroundsas fast as possible but, then he remembered Evalinge, he had to find went inside the grounds again, to see the Parkinson family surrounded by a group of 4deatheaterswithCyrusbeingstunned. The death eaters were laughingwildly,in sadistic rememberedthe way they had shown no mercy to hismother,when She had saw a death eater disarming Cyrus and binding him and his wife. The group was six people, and the Parkinson family was disarmed and bound. He cast a disillusionment charm on himself to what they were talking about.
"Now, now, Parkinson, if only you would have accepted the offer last time, we would not had to fight, and your daughters' virtue would have remained intact," he heard one masked figure saying.
He felt fury fill his body as he saw one of the death eaters dropping his pants to move towards Pansy and another towards Evalinge, andhelashed out with Blood boiling and Organ rotting curse; he then cut down another's hand with the dark cutting curse followed by a castrating the wound so it would not be attached. The death eaters howled in agony, and their allies noticed this and started forming a circle and looking out for attackers. Harry took out another by a silent, stupefy, and disillusioned death eater so he could not be revived. He fired three stunners, but they were shielded, and now they knew of his position.
"Potter," one of the masked death eaters spat.
"Hello, How are you, Gents?"Harry said cheerfully, but inside, he wasfilled with angeras they tried to attack his sister andhis was going to make them pay.
"Ah, so you have finally come out to play. Let's see what the boy who lived can do to us, death eaters." the death eater on the left said. Harry quickly disarmed the people he had downed.
He was directly attacked as he dodged andshieldfrom their every knew he needed to cast his own spells, andfor ,thathe needed his shield.
He moved his wand in an intricate pattern, and three fireballs erupted from his wand and impacted three deatheaters,andtheir hands and wands were burnedby the timetheir allies helped distraction to use anOrgan liquifyingcurse on another it was 4 vs 1. Harry decided enough was enoughandit was time to shed his skin andstartedhis own onslaught:
"Stupefy, Incarcerous, Bombarda, Reducto, Confringo, Filependo, Expelliarmus, Stupefy, Bombarda maximus, Reducto, Petrificus totalus, Confringo maximus, Ignis, Filepindo, Stupefy, Incarcerous, Incendio Maximus."he cast all the spells in three seconds, all non verbally and three of the attackers fell, first one got blasted away 50 feet, second one was bereft of its wand. He overwhelmed the final attacker with a simple disarming jinx.
"Accio portrays," and about a dozen port keys arrived near him, and he destroyed them with incendio.
"Argenteis catenis"he used it and bound the 12 of them in silver chains.
He unbound theParkinson. They were looking at him in awe, written on their faces. He hugged Evalinge tohim,who was sobbing uncontrollably, and he started rocking her.
"Hey, it's alright. You do know I would never let anything happen to you, right Eva?" he said, looking at her earnestly.
"Yes, I knew you would come," she said, sniffling,andcontinued to rock her until she calmed down, he handed her to Cyrus when Madam Bones and Crouch Jr. arrived.
"Who cast the dark mark? Who cast the dark mark here" Crouch asked, looking atHarry
"Do you know who I am,Crouch" he asked coldly, which sent shivers downtoeveryone's spine, but Crouch was an idiot.
"I know who you are, but it will not help you in the Wizengamot above the law. Arrest themaurors" he said had his wand outin an instant,snarlat his lips, aura flaring at his angerandthe Aurors took a step back.
"Crouch, trying to arrest without proof again after you arrested my godfather without trial for 12 you have a vendetta against Potter and Black your aurors dare move a step forward, I will declare blood feud on the Crouch Family," Harry said with a dangerous tonein his voice, and Crouch paled. Everybody looked at Harry in shock.
"If you have nothing else to say, Crouch, go and fuck yourself, and if I ever hear my family's name being Tarnished because of you, I will go through with my threat," he said to Crouch in anger before turning to Madam Bones, his features softened and smiled at her not looking her in the eye.
"These are your attackers, Madam Bones, 12," he said motioning to the attackers,then gave her the statements, followed by Lord and Lady Parkinson's assessments, which said the same thing as him.
"I think you should come with me to my house for today
Lord Parkinson," Harry saidandLord Parkinson and bowed to Madambones.
"Hedwig" a flash of white light engulfed them and transported them to PotterManor
A white phoenix trilled and landed on Harry's soldier.
"This ishedwigmyfamiliarather full capabilities"he saidshockingthe family.
"You definitely live an adventurous lifelordPotter" Cyrus saidlaughing
"You can call me Harry. You are almostfamilyas Evalinge is my sister."Harry saidsmilingat Evalingewhowas petting Hedwig.

"Tilly," An elf arrived withpop
"What can Till do for Master Harry?" she askedbowinglow.
"Tilly, prepare three rooms for the Parkinson , prepare the meal accordingly tomorrow, , Inform Minerva that I havearrived,andhaveParkinsonfamily with me due toattack." he said to Tilly, who nodded andleft
"Welcome to PotterManor." he said to them and heard ashout
"Harry, Are you safe, Iheard there was anattack"Minerva said as she looked at him up and down.
Suddenlyabrunette missile ran through the doorandlungedat his legandstarted sobbing.
Pansy was in shockofeverything that had had seen Harry looking at her with longing and sadness, and he had smiled at good because ofthat,but did not let it was attackedwithher parentsandthey were helplessandshewas about to be raped, along with her had never thought that would happen to her. Suddenlythreeof the approaching men were on the ground the fourth felland themen revealedHarry Potterwas protecting her , she thought, he was stupid to try and fight death eaters, let alone more than one. Hehad thendefeated three more of them by burning their hands and wand, then defeated a resolve to end it as soon as possible and he ended the battle within 20 seconds.
Pansy never knew he was that powerful. She now understood what Evalinge said. Harry Potter was indeed a great wizard and had protected her had seen Harry comforting Evalinge in the quidditch field and telling ofCrouch,theway he handled himself was better than even Lucius then knew he had a phoenix of all things as a familiar. He had taken them to Potter Manor. And now she found Minerva Mcgonagallof alllooking frantically for injuries at Harry. She was then shocked to see a female mini Harry run to hug Harry and start sobbing. She saw Harry smiling unconsciously before pulling her in his armshuggingher tightly. Was Harry the elder brother of thischild.
"Dad, are you ok?" she askedlookingat Harry withdoe likebig green was shocked. Dad? Potter had a child. When. And how was it possible that she was so big already.
"Minerva, Em is devastated, pleasestay today, Iam going to read her to Albus. You can tell them is familyandso are they, justtake a vowto notreveal anything.I am sending a patronus to call Albus. Also, if Fudge asks for me, tell him I am indisposed." Harry said to Minerva and was walking away when he turned to look at her with softened eyes.
"Are you alright, Heiress Parkinson?" he askedsoftly toPansy with concern in his could onlynod,because she saw a very intense emotion in his eyes, which she thought was misplaced. He left after that.
