Lynn Sr. and Rita Loud had just finished saying goodbye to most of their daughters. Lori, Leni, Lynn Jr., Luan, Lucy, Lana, and Lisa all went back home. While Lola, Lily, and Luna still lived at home with their parents. With them gone, the rest of the Loud clan all sat in the living room, mentally and physically exhausted. All looked depressed, except Lily, who looked at them sadly. Lily and Lola were sitting on the couch with their parents, while Luna was laying in the chair sideways.
"Well…that went well," Lily said, trying to cheer them up.
"What are you talking about? That was horrible!" Lola screamed at her with a frown.
"Yeah dude," Luna said, staring up at the ceiling with tears in her eyes. "They basically said they want nothing to do with us. You, Lana, and Lucy are the only exception. Lucy and Lana because they play games with Sarah, and you because you didn't chase them away like the rest of us."
"Okay, you're right!" Lily said in an angry tone, standing up to glare down at her family. "But can you blame them?! You all, along with the rest of this place, chased them out for something they didn't do! I made it clear to all of you that I don't want anything to do with any of you unless absolutely necessary."
"Sarah told me what they went through," the young girl said, with her anger being replaced with sadness. They all looked at her with surprised expressions. "They told Sarah everything, what happened, where and how they lived, they made sure she knew it all. She told me how hard they both worked just to survive. How they lived in fear that the law would find out, their real identities would be revealed, or if any of you would find them. Every day was filled with anxiety and fear."
"She even took Simon from me once we were out of everyone's sight," Lily said as she started to cry. "That's how much she didn't trust any of us. The face you all saw was just a mask, a mask I don't think her parents know about. I saw how she actually looks at us." Lily then remembered the glare the little girl gave her, she shivered at the memory. "She only became friendlier to me because I didn't participate in what happened to her parents. She will talk friendly to Lucy and Lana while playing games with them. However, she told me she doesn't think she could do the same if she talks with them face to face."
"I was just lucky that she doesn't hate me like the rest of you," Lily said, wiping her eyes. "She found me fun and wanted to get to know me more. She told me to tell the rest of you that she will never forgive any of you. If you get her parents forgiveness, then she'll consider it. But until that time, she'll act friendly with any of you, but never trust or forgive any of you. I'm going to bed, it's been a long day."
The four Louds just looked at Lily with a stunned expression, as she started to walk to her bedroom. "Oh! One more thing," Lily said, looking back at them before going up the stairs. "She said if you ever tell her parents about any of this, she'll deny any of it and get payback. When I asked how, she said it was a surprise. Make sure to tell the rest of our sisters that as well." Lily then continued to her room, while the rest of the family looked at each other with nervous expressions.
[With Lori]
Lori had just gotten to her apartment in Great Lakes City after the meeting with Sam and Lincoln, and she was feeling exhausted. As she walked inside, all she wanted to do was flop on the bed and sleep.
"Hey babe, welcome home," she heard a voice say after entering. Bobby Santiago then came from the kitchen, wearing a blue apron, to greet her. She had married him ten years ago. He was a stay at home husband/father, looking after their two children Lance and Hector. Hector was 6 years old and named after Bobby's grandfather, while Lance was 4 years old and named using the Loud family method.
"Hey Bobby," Lori greeted back in a tired and defeated voice. "Where are Lance and Hector?"
"In their bedroom," her husband replied with a smile. "I didn't expect you back tonight. I thought you would've stayed with your family at your parents home?"
"It's a long story," Lori replied, not looking at him while walking to their bedroom. "I'm going to bed early."
"But, Lori-" was all Bobby got to say, before someone interrupted him.
"What about Lincoln?!" The new voice asked in anger and annoyance. "Did you see him or not?!" It was a 28 year old Ronnie Anne Santiago. She had heard from her brother that Lori and her family found and were meeting Lincoln. She had come over to wait for her to get information.
"Yeah, he showed up with Sam," Lori replied, not looking at her.
"Why would Sam be with him?" Bobby asked, confused, while his sister just raised an eyebrow.
"Because the two of them are married," Lori replied in a calm tone.
"WHAT?!" Both of the siblings said in unison. One is shocked and the other is shocked and furious.
"Yeah, they even have two kids as well," Lori continued, still not looking at them. "Sarah seems like a lovely girl and Simon was literally adorable."
"Hold on! Backup a moment!" Ronnie Anne shouted angrily with a frown. "What do you mean they're married!?"
"Yeah Lori, you're not making any sense?" Bobby asked, confused. "Why are they married? I thought they disappeared because everyone thought they were together?"
"Well…they only had one another for seventeen years," Lori replied, giving them an exhausted expression. "They have been through a lot, of course they would get together after all they went through."
"What you're telling us isn't making any sense!" Ronnie Anne shouted in frustration. "Just give me his number so I can ask him myself!"
"Sorry I can't, I don't have it," the former Loud said in an annoyed tone. "Only Lily got his phone number, and she definitely won't give it to anyone."
"Then tell me where he is so I can ask him myself!" She demanded, stepping closer to her sister-in-law.
"I can't!" Lori shouted in frustration, glaring at the younger girl. This got the attention of her two sons, who were watching from a gap between their door.
"Why not Lori?" He asked his wife with an upset frown. "She has been wanting to see him for years! Just tell us where he is."
"I CAN'T!" Lori screamed at the siblings, with tears falling from her eyes. This made both of them look at her in stunned surprise. "Right now they don't want anyone to know where they live! He is trusting us NOT to tell anyone! This is our last chance and I'M not going to break it! They are willing to give us one last chance!" She started to take some breaths to try to calm herself. "If you want to find him, then you have to do it yourself. I can't and won't help you." She then turned and started walking towards her bedroom.
"At least tell me how you found him?!" Ronnie Anne demanded with a desperate voice and upset expression.
Lori paused and started to ponder. She knew it was Lucy and Lana who found him. She also learned that both of them played online games with his daughter Sarah. It was easy to deduce that they found them by using Sarah.
"I didn't find him, it was Lucy and Lana," Lori replied, not looking at the Santiago siblings. "They were the ones to set up the meeting. You'll have to ask them, although I doubt they'll tell you anything." She then continued to her bedroom to sleep. Leaving her husband, sister-in-law, and children worried about her.
[With Lynn Jr.]
The former athlete had just walked into her house. She still lived in Royal Woods, just in a different area. She never chased after her dreams of being a star athlete, instead taking the role of a gym teacher/coach for the High School. She couldn't chase her dream while her brother was still missing.
"Hey! Welcome back!" A cheerful voice greeted her. It was Clyde Mcbride mopping the floor. The two became roommates when Lynn was looking for a place when she wanted to move out her parents home. Clyde was running a small bakery in Royal Woods. "Did he show up?" Clyde asked excitedly.
"Yeah, he showed up," Lynn replied in an emotionless tone.
"Great! So is he coming back to Royal Woods?" Clyde asked happily, excited at the thought of seeing his long time friend.
"No, he's staying where he currently lives," she replied, going to the kitchen to grab a beer from the fridge.
"Oh," the young man said with a crestfallen expression, before forcing a smile. "Well, where does he live? So I can go visit him."
"I can't tell you," Lynn said, sitting on the couch, searching for something to watch while drinking her beer.
"What?! Why not?!" Clyde shouted upset. "I need to apologize to him! I thought after all this time living together we became friends!"
"I CAN'T BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT ANYONE TO KNOW WHERE HE IS!" Lynn screamed at him with a glare, before calming down. "Look, long story short, Lincoln and Sam are now married and have a family of their own." This caused Clyde to go wide eyed. "He is trusting us to not tell anyone where he currently is. This is our last chance, and if we screw it up, then he'll cut us off completely. I'm sorry Clyde, I can't help you."
"Then what are the rest of us supposed to do?" Clyde asked in a frustrated tone, while tears built up in his eyes. "Me, Zach, Liam, and Stella want to apologize. How are we supposed to do that if we don't know where he is!"
"Try to find him yourselves I guess," Lynn replied in an uncaring tone, finding something to watch. "Lucy and Lana found him, so I guess you could ask them. But I doubt they'll tell you anything, so as not to break what little trust we have with him."
Clyde stared at her in disbelief for a few seconds, before shaking his head and walking away. He went back to mopping, while Lynn drank her beer and watched TV.
[With Lana and Lucy]
The two Loud sisters had just gotten home to the house they rented with one other person. They did this after Lynn and Clyde started living together. It helped since both didn't make a lot of money with their jobs. Lana was a mechanic at an auto shop in Royal Woods, while Lucy was a new author.
"Well that went better than I expected," Lucy said to her sister, entering their home.
"How did you expect it to go?" Lana asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I thought they were going to set up the meeting and not show up, while disappearing again," the goth replied.
"Okay, I could see that," Lana said while nodding.
"Welcome back home you two," a happy feminine voice greeted them. It was Stella Zhau, their other roommate. "Did he show up?" She asked them in a hopeful tone.
Both sisters looked at each other uncomfortably, before Lana answered. "Yeah, he showed up," she said, looking away from her.
"But he doesn't want to see anyone," Lucy continued for her sister.
"What?! Why?!" Stella asked in shock and confusion. "I need to see him! He's with your parents right?!" She asked, while grabbing her stuff to leave to the Loud house.
"You're wasting your time," Lucy said, causing the young woman to suddenly stop. "They didn't want to stay in Royal Woods, so they're probably already gone."
"They?" Stella asked in a whisper, looking at them with a heartbroken expression.
"Yeah…turns out Lincoln and Sam got married some time during the last seventeen years," Lana replied in an uncomfortable tone. Stella made it clear that she still had feelings for Lincoln and was hoping to try a relationship with him, when he was found. "They also have two children…".
"A couple brought together through tragedy," Lucy said to herself thinking. "A little cliché, but it would still make a good story."
"Not the time for that," Lana whispered to her, while pointing to their roommate. Stella had fallen to her knees, staring down at the ground with a devastated and heartbroken expression.
"We also can't tell you where he currently lives," Lana said in a saddening tone, looking down at her.
"He's trusting us to not tell anyone," Lucy added, looking down at her.
However, Stella said nothing and continued to stare blankly at the ground with the same expression. Both sisters looked at each other worryingly, before both helped Stella to her bedroom. They got her in her bed, then turned the lights off and left the room. As soon as she heard the door close, she started to cry while hugging a pillow.
