"Come here," Roman said.

He pulled Talise into his arms and kissed her. He was trying to delay leaving her. He had enjoyed some wonderful days in her company and he had fallen head over heels in love with her.

"I'm gonna miss you," he said.
"You're gonna miss your flight," she said.
"You're so not romantic," he chuckled.
"I'm gonna miss you too," she said.

He grinned at her and leaned down for another kiss.

"Parting is such sweet sorrow," he said.
"Alright, Shakespeare," she laughed.
"Of course you know that quote," he said.
"I know a little of everything," she said.

He chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"I don't wanna leave but I have to," he said. "I'll be back soon. Meanwhile we gotta make due with phone sex."

She snorted in laughter and shook her head. He was happy to hear her laugh. She had a rough start yesterday but he had managed to get the bad day turned around to a good one.

He grabbed his bag and opened the front door. She stepped outside with him and walked him to his rental car. He tossed the bag in the trunk and looked at her. That lovely water was hard to leave behind. He wanted to stay and drown in her ocean.

"One more for the road," he said.

He pulled her into his arms and kissed her. She tensed up seconds into the kiss and he broke it.

"Sorry," he said.
"Not out here," she said.
"I lose my mind around you," he said.
"You're bad," she said.

He winked at her and opened the car door.

"I'll call you tonight," he said.
"Safe travel," she said.

He blew a kiss in the air and got into the car. He backed out of her driveway and looked in the rear view mirror as he drove away. She was standing there looking at his car disappearing.

"Fucking hell, Roman," he chuckled to himself. "That is one hell of a woman you found there. She's worth it."
