Roman tried calling Talise again. Her phone was still turned off. He knew she had a hard time with her phone number having been leaked but she knew he would call. It didn't help the case either that a reporter had been hiding outside of her home and snapped pictures of them kissing goodbye. This was the last thing she wanted and now it was out there. He knew it was messing with her mind. He had tried calling since yesterday when he left her house. He opened his text messages and sent her another text.

"Please, call me. I'm starting to worry."

He had already sent her several texts. He kept calling and texting but her phone remained turned off. He opened the reviews for her shop and felt his heart tighten in his chest. People were so cruel to her. They left one star reviews and wrote all sorts of lies about her shop. She didn't deserve any of this.

"Are you okay?" Seth asked.

Roman raised his eyes from his phone and looked at Seth.

"You don't look like you're in the best headspace," Seth said.
"Everything has gone to shit," Roman said.
"Still that party crasher?" Seth asked.
"People are so fucking cruel," Roman said.

Roman handed his phone to Seth. Seth looked at the reviews.

"What am I looking at?" Seth asked.
"Reviews from her shop. Dirt sheets ran a story about me being there because a flower delivery saw me," Roman said.
"And the trolls came out of their cave," Seth said.
"They sure did," Roman sighed. "She already changed her number a week ago, and of course the new one already got leaked as well."

Seth handed the phone back to Roman and sat down next to him.

"I told her I would call her last night. She hasn't turned on her phone since I left yesterday morning. I'm starting to worry," Roman said.
"How well do you know her?" Seth asked.
"Does it matter?" Roman asked.
"I guess not. I'm just wondering if she's worth it," Seth said.
"She is," Roman said.
"Okay, so what do you wanna do about it?" Seth asked.
"I wanna see her," Roman said.

Roman tried calling again but her phone was still turned off.

"Can I go home with you tonight?" Roman asked.
"Of course but my flight isn't leaving until 5 AM," Seth said.
"I don't mind. I'll book a ticket for the same flight," Roman said.
"Sounds like a plan," Seth patted Roman's knee. "It's gonna be okay, Roman. If her number has been leaked, it makes sense she doesn't turn her phone back on. She probably just forgot that you were supposed to call. She'll call once the worst is over."

Roman nodded and put his phone away. Seth was right. Everything was burning down around Talise everytime she turned her phone back on. It would happen once she was ready. Now he just needed to get through the show and then he would go to her. One way or another, they would talk things through and come up with a plan.
