Chapter 50-Returning home

Raven's P.O.V

Raven, Murphy, and Wells rode their horses through the woods, they had been riding for about three hours when they heard voices. "Clanless?" Murphy asks as he stops his horse as grabs his gun.

"Or Lincoln," Wells says. "Lexa said she would send a scouting party out," Wells tells him as the voices get closer. Lincoln is the first one to exit the woods followed by Luna and a few warriors.

"You guys are idiots," Lincoln says as he climbs off his horse.

"We know," Murphy says as he climbs off his horse. "How pissed off are Lexa and Clarke?"

"Hard to tell," Lincoln says as he looks at Raven. "You're in for a fun time," Lincoln says as Raven looks at Luna.

"You're pissed," Raven says.

"That is an putting it lightly, Raven," Luna says.

"Someone is sleeping on the couch," Murphy says.

"I swear to god, I will shoot you," Raven growls. "Are you on your way to the dropship?"

"Yes," Lincoln says. "I assume you all did something stupid."

"Murphy killed a guard," Ontari says. "So they're keeping an eye out, be careful."

"They will not see us," Lincoln says. "Luna, take them home, I will continue towards the dropship."

Luna nods as Lincoln rides forwards with his men. "Can someone please explain what is going on?" Finn asks.

"All in due time spacewalker," Murphy says as he climbs back on his horse. "Lead the way," Murphy says to Luna who turns her horse around and rides. "You're fucked," He says to Raven.

"Shut up," Raven says as they follow Luna.

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke sat at her desk looking at the map. "You're planning a war on your own?" Lexa asks as she walks up behind her.

"No," Clarke answers. "I'm just thinking."

"About?" Lexa asks.

"How to beat Jaha without losing dozens of people or even hundreds if he is smart," Clarke says as there was a knock on the door. "What?"

"Luna's back with Raven, Murphy, Ontari, and Wells. They have friends," Octavia says from the other side of the door. Clarke sighs as he stands up and walks out the door with Lexa behind her. They into the center of the village where Murphy and the others are.

"I'm going to start putting guards on the two of you," Clarke growls.

"I wouldn't blame you," Murphy says. "Clarke this is Charlotte and Finn."

"Hi," Clarke says. "How many people did you kill to get them?"

"One," Murphy says. "Don't worry, Jaha doesn't know who did it and he doesn't know that the grounders exist, I kept our secret safe," Murphy tells her.

Clarke nods as he looks at Finn and Charlotte. "I bet you two have a lot of questions."

"You have no idea," Charlotte says.

"Here is the short version, Lexa here is the Commander of 12 clans of people, grounders, they've been on Earth since the bombs dropped, thousands of them and together, we're going to defeat Jaha," Clarke tells them. "Murphy and Wells can fill you in on the rest. Do they have a radio?"

"Yes," Charlotte says.

"Do you think we can turn any of the guards against, Jaha?" Kane asks making Charlotte look at him. "Good to see you again, kid."

"No, we can't turn the guards against him, Jaha has made you and Jake public enemy number one, he wants to see you both dead, you as well, John," Charlotte says as he looks at the man.

"Can't say I'm surprised."

"How do you know they won't turn against him?" Jake asks.

"Because he made sure of it, after he—after he killed Pike," Charlotte says softly.

"He killed Charles?" Kane asks. "Why?"

"Because Pike was going to betray him, he wanted to help you, save the people of the Ark. He had guards that were prepared to fight with him but...Jaha found out and before we dropped, he put me in a interrogation room, covered my mouth and handcuffed me to a table. He brough Charles in the room and he stabbed him in the stomach, He held the knife there before stabbing him in the heart, he made my watch as Pike died, and then he killed the guards, floated all of them, all he cares about is killing the three of you, no matter the cost, he just wants revenge," Charlotte says. They all stare at the kid as Murphy lays his hand on her shoulder.

"We knew Jaha would be unstable, we can use that to our advantage," Lexa says. "Let's get these two settled in and wait for Lincoln and then we'll make a plan."

Raven's P.O.V

Raven looks at Finn. "Jake can you get him settled him?" Raven asks Jake who nods.

"What are you going to be doing?" Finn asks.

"I have work to do, I'm very important around here," Raven says. "We will talk soon, I promise," Raven says as she looks at Luna and then walks towards her shop. She sat at her desk and a couple of minutes later Luna walks in. "I know what I did was stupid," Raven says as she stands up. "I just, I needed to make sure he was okay," Raven says as she walks over to Luna. "Please just yell at me."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Luna asks. "I understand why you went after him, he took care of you for years, you loved him, you might still love him."

"I'll always love, Finn," Raven says. "I just don't love him like I love you."

"Then why did you leave? Raven, we're supposed to be a team and I cannot lose you. I wouldn't be able to bear it so tell me why you didn't talk to me, because I'm not going to be in a relationship with you if you don't trust me enough to talk to me."

"I was scared that you would be able to talk me out of it," Raven says. "Luna, I trust you more than anybody else, I've told you everything, including what Finn did and I have never told anybody that. I shouldn't have left without telling you and I'm sorry, and I promise it won't ever happen again," Raven says. Luna stares at her for a moment before she walks up to her and kisses her. After she lays her head on Raven's.

"I will hold you to that promise," Luna says before she smacks Raven in the back of the head.

"Ow," Raven says as she rubs her head. "I thought I was forgiven."

"You are now," Luna says with a smirk. "Now go talk to Finn."

Raven nods as she leaves.

Jaha's P.O.V

Jaha watched as two of his men dug a grave for Elijah he then looked at the teenagers and the guards. "We weren't even down here for a full day before they came for us," Jaha says. "They killed one of us, Elijah had a wife, and a daughter. His wife was a guard, and she was killed when Marcus Kane ran. He lost his daughter two months later. He came on this trip to avenge his wife and yet the same people that killed her, they killed him and next they will come for all of us!" Jaha shouts. "Will we let them?!"

"No!" They shout.

"Good, start cutting down trees we need a wall, we need to be prepared for the next time they come," Jaha says and they nod as they begin to work. Jaha walks into the dropship where Atom was waiting for him. "Is there anything you would like to say to me, Atom."

"No," Atom says. "I don't know who took Charlotte, I don't know anything I was just friends with the girl, does that make me a criminal, does that mean I'm with them?"

"No, it does not," Jaha says. "Do Charlotte ever say anything to you?"

"No, she talked about them a lot, John Murphy especially, if one of them came for her, he would be my guess."

"Thank you, Atom, you are free to go," Jaha tells Atom who nods as he leaves. Jaha watches him and then follows him out of the dropship.

Murphy's P.O.V

Murphy leads Charlotte into his house. "Wells and I share this place but when it was being build, I made sure an extra room was made for you," Murphy tells her.

"How'd you know you'd see me again?" Charlotte asks.

"I would have gone back to the Ark to get you, kid," Murphy tells her. "I'm sorry we left you."

"You didn't have a choice," Charlotte says. "John, I want to kill him, I want to see Jaha die."

"He is still Wells's father," Murphy says. "We have to try and save him."

"He killed Pike," Charlotte growls. "He helped me up there John, he was the only friend I had outside of the skybox and he killed him and he made me watch, and he's going to try and kill you, I won't lose you too."

"You aren't going to lose me, kid," Murphy says as he bends down and lays his hand io Charlotte's shoulder. "I promise you kid, everything is going to be okay, we're going to win against Jaha and we're going to save everybody on the Ark. What you need to do is get some sleep," Murphy tells him. "When you wake up, just come outside and find me," Murphy tells Charlotte who slowly nods as she goes to the room.

Raven's P.O.V

Raven walks into Kane's house and sees Finn sitting on the couch with Kane. "You mind if we have a moment?" Raven asks Kane who nods as he leaves. "What were you guys talking about?"

"He was filling me in on stuff," Finn says as Raven sits down beside him. "Who is she?"

"Who?"

"The girl who followed you in that building, the girl I assume you're with."

"Finn-"

"I get it, Raven," Finn says. "I did it too, up in the skybox, with some of the prisoners. I thought you were dead. My question is do you love her?"

"Yes," Raven answers. "You're right I never thought I would see you again and i fell in love with Luna and even though you're here now, I still love her and I want to be with her. Does that change your mind about helping me?"

"No," Finn answers. "You're my best friend, Raven. As long as you're happy, I'm not mad, but if she ever hurts you, I'll kill her."

"Thanks, Finn and good luck with killing her," Raven says with a smirk.

"Just wondering, Clarke single?"

"No," Raven says. "She's with Lexa, the Commander."

"Damn," Finn says. "Definitely am not winning that one."

"No, you're not," Raven says. "Try and get some rest, we got a busy few days ahead of us."

Finn nods as Raven stands up and leaves.
