Ladybug blushed as Cat stared at her while on patrol. "Cat, what are you staring at? Did I have something on my face?" Cat grinned. "Your just really pretty," he said, but Ladybug knew there was more he wanted to say. "And?"
"And I was going to ask you to have a smoothie with me," Cat tapped his claws together nervously, and Ladybug walked over to him. "Like a date?" "It doesn't have to be…" "Your asking me on a date." "Yes," oh, sugar and cookies what was going on with his ears? "I'll go on a date with you. In fact, let's go now."
"My Lady," Cat cleared his throat. Did he get fuzz stuck in his ear? Ladybug laughed, taking his hand. "I've been waiting for you to ask me." "What changed your mind?" Cat asked, ever the curious feline as they walked down the sidewalk.
"Well, for starters, your my best friend. And I want to get to know you too." The smoothie shop was around the corner and Cat held the door open for her.
After they ordered, they found a small table in the sun. "So, what's your favorite thing to do when your not being my Bugaboo," Cat asked, sipping his blueberry smoothie. Ladybug turned red. "Well….you want the truth?" her voice rose a little. Cat gave a mock gasp, leaning over and lowering his voice. "Your not masquerading as a villain are you?" "No, no. I like sewing and reading magazines about Adrien Agreste."
Okay, Cat was flattered but lots of girls did. But did that mean she had a crush on him as Adrien? Hmm…. "And what do you think of Adrien?" "I actually think he's really hot,"she blurted, then hid.
Well, he wasn't expecting this, but meow. There was hope!
"What about you?" Ladybug recovered, clearly wanting to move on. "I love video games, especially Mario Kart and Animal Crossing, romantic novels, and an occasional good cry with a bucket of popcorn."
"So,your into movies? What genres do you like?" "Action, and chick flicks." Ladybug narrowed her eyes. "Wait a minute," she said, and Cat was suddenly hot under the collar. Oh, no. What'd he say now? "Is that were you get your puns?"
"Meow-ch, I'm wounded, I make up all those myself." Ladybug raised an eyebrow. "Okay, maybe not all, but a good majority."
Ladybug stirred her straw around. "Cat?" Wade in carefully, she thought. "Would you like to go to a movie and eat popcorn with me?" Cat's eyes sparkled. "I'd love too." "Great. I just hope you don't cry into the popcorn."
"Bugaboo, the only tears I will be crying will be tears of joy, for how long have I been asking you to the movies?" Ladybug slapped his arm, playfully, and like they came in, they went out holding hands, for the date and their relationship was beginning to blossom and bloom.
