A Fox In Middleton Chapter XVIII: All The News, a Naruto + Kim Possible Crossover fanfic

A/N: Here's a mostly mass update for the holiday! Sorry for RWBY and Korra not being on here. I am still not used to writing with a lot of time, as for the last 4/5 years, I could only write for an hour or two before going to bed, and I still find myself sometimes doing nothing until then even though I have my time back.

Finding more information on the year and I forgot the second seasons the longest and the third season's only 10 episodes plus the movie, I'll do the 17th birthdays around midway through S2 (Ep 18ish) then do both birthdays after the first couple of episodes for S4 to have them both be 18 to do a couple of lemons in that season.

ALSO ENDED THE KIM POSSIBLE POLL! No surprise Tori Won, it'll stay up until tomorrow night when it'll be replaced with a poll for my Star Wars story on what to do when getting to the last ep of Clone Wars.

The choices for that are A: Stop there and the sequel title Maelstrom Jedi: Book II. B: Stop there and sequel title Maelstrom Jedi: (Sequel Title). Chapter XVIII: All The News.

Last Time.

"Bonnie...!"

Bonnie stiffened as she turned. "Mom?!

"Pumpkin!"

She ran over and hugged Bonnie who pushed her back. "Mother, what are you doing here?"

"I heard you kids needed more chaperons so I just rushed right up."

"But you can't."

"Well, now, Bon-Bon, don't go flying off the handle." Her mother whispered loudly as Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"Bon-Bon?"

"If everything isn't just so, little Bon-Bon goes straight to pieces." Bonnie's mother said as Bonnie looked at her.

"But why? Who called you?"

"There's too many kids for just us to handle and I figured if Kimmy got to enjoy having her parents around why not you, too, Bonnie?" Ann smiled at Bonnie as her mother dragged her off.

"This is going to be such fun. You have to introduce me to every single one of your little classmates."

"You rock Mom." Kim smiled at her mother who smiled back.

"You rock too, Kimmie."

Now.

Middleton High Morning.

Naruto walked down the hall to see his girlfriend opening her locker. And blinked as she saw papers being printed out. "Huh?" She started picking the papers up before Ron appeared and took them.

"Don't touch that. No offense, K.P. but that's very sensitive material."

She just raised an eyebrow at that. "Really?" She asks as Rufus comes up on Ron's shoulder and looks at the paper.

"Hmm?"

"It's a story I'm writing for the school paper. Hard-hitting stuff." Ron said, hiding the papers from Rufus as Naruto walked up.

"You're not on the paper, Ron. They keep turning you down… No offense."

"This is going to turn them around," Ron said, eyes narrowed. "It's an edgy exposé I call-"

Middleton High News.

"'Math: You'll Never Actually Use It In the Real World.'"

The editor of the paper read Ron's title out loud.

She has dark skin, and black hair and is wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and green pants.

"I'm already working on a follow-up piece about semicolons." Ron smiled as she sighed, placed the papers down, and looked at him.

"Ron."

Ring-Ring!

"News desk." She answered the phone that rang.

"..."

"'No comment' is totally unacceptable. I don't care if she is the Principal and your mother. I want that story." She slammed the phone down and threw Ron his story. "You're giving me nothing here, Stoppable. Where's the edge? The angle? Do you want to get on the paper?" She asked as Ron and Rufus nodded. "Write a story that makes me care."

"I'll do it. I'm a born reporter. I can smell a story a mile away… Maybe Kim has an idea."

Football field.

"Milton is... H… O... T! Milton is hot!"

The cheerleaders cheered spelling the word before finishing in a pose of the word HOT. "Go, dogs!"

They finished getting in a group holding their pom poms up as Kim was in front bending at the waist. "Good one, you guys," Kim said as they all stood and walked to the benches. "Take five."

"Help me out, K.P."

She blinked as Ron walked up with Naruto. "I need an angle."

"Why ask me?" Kim asked, hands on her hips. "You're the born reporter."

"Oh." Ron turned to the football team holding a pad of paper and a pencil. "OK, OK, which one of you guys is failing a class but still playing in this weekend's game?" None answered him before she continued. "Oh, come on. One of you has to be failing at something." He was then tossed over at Naruto and Kim who was putting her pom poms away. "Ooh! I've got my story. 'Football Team Full of Nice Great Guys Who are Not Failing Anything.'"

Naruto shook his head before wrapping his arms around his girlfriend. "What's this for?"

"Just thanking my cheerleader girlfriend for allowing me to watch her and her friends practice."

Kim deadpanned as she turned to face Naruto only for him to kiss her. Pulling back she spoke. "I bet that's the only reason you're going out with me."

"Pretty much yeah." He smiled as Kim rolled her eyes. "And the slumber party stories." She elbowed him, making him grunt. "See if I help you save the world next time."

Ron stood up and smiled at Kim. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"'Cause I found my story! I'm going to interview you! The Kim Possible." Ron exclaimed as Kim pulled herself free and crossed her arms.

"Since when does my name have a "The" in front of it?"

"And Kim, I won't accept anything less than the hard-hitting truth."

Possible Household, Night.

Kim leaned against Naruto on the couch as they, her brothers, and Ron watched the TV.

"Tonight, one extreme teen will go into the woods alone. No food, no water, no human contact. Handcuffed to a bear." An announcer said, showing a roaring Grizzly bear.

Suddenly, a young woman with fair skin and short blonde hair with the side shaved came up on the screen. She also has blue eyes and is wearing a red top barring her hard midriff and blue pants with black boots.

"That teen is me. Freaky!"

"At least the bear won't go hungry," Kim said before Naruto pulled her closer as the others ignored her.

"And now, Adrena Lynn answers the question the whole country is asking..."

"'What will she do next?'/'What will she do next?'/'What will she do next?'"

The three others asked with the announcer. "I thought you came over to interview me," Kim asked Ron who waved her off.

"At the commercial. Got any chips?"

"Next, Adrena Lynn and the bear go fishing for their lives." The announcer said as Adrena Lynn walked towards the bear.

The TV suddenly turned off as Kim stood and used the remote to turn it off.

"Kim!/Kim!/Kim!"

"This show is a mind-numbing waste of satellite frequencies," Kim said, dropping the remote on the table.

"You're right. Besides, I'm taping it at home." Ron smiled as she walked over.

"Some kid's going to get hurt trying to imitate that girl's stunts."

"Hey, let's see if we can sneak into the bear cage at the zoo like Adrena Lynn," Tim said as Jim smiled.

"Cool!"

They jumped off as Tim pulled two steaks from his back with ropes. "Here. Tie this steak on."

"Super cool!"

"Hoo-sha!"

They tied them on and ran out as Naruto leaned forward. "Aren't you going to stop them?"

"Nah. The zoo's locked this time of night." She shrugged and walked over to sit beside him and looked at Ron. "Alright. Let's get this hard-hitting interview over with."

Ron dropped a recorder down and turned it on. "So… what's it like to be you?"

Highway.

In a van, Adrena Lynn in the passenger seat was looking over her ratings as a bear costume fell behind her. "Ratings are up! Merchandise sales are up!"

"Mm-hmm. Copycat instances are up, too." Her cameraman said from the driver's seat.

He has fair skin and a black soul patch and hair with glasses and a red cap.

"It means they're watching. Not my fault if the little dweebs aren't careful."

"Maybe they don't get it that you fake the stunts." He said looking in the rearview mirror at the bear costume.

"Whatever. The point is, if we're going to stay on top the next stunt has to be bigger. More extreme!" She said dropping the file down.

"Like what?" He asks, glancing over.

"I'm thinking, bungee… Freaky!"

Middletown High.

"Hey, you got an IM. Pop Pop Porter, The Frozen Food King… He needs your help. He's been robbed."

Wade said on Kim's locker screen as Ron appeared with Naruto. "I smell a scoop." Kim shoved him back at that. "Hey!"

"What was stolen?"

Pop Pop, Air Field.

"My Pop Popcorn Shrimp."

Pop Pop said as they all walked into the hangar, the heroes in their mission clothing. "Pop Pop, you brought us out here because someone stole a crustacean? I don't get it."

"I do," Naruto said looking at the food-shaped blimps in the hanger.

"My Shrimp Force One was my favorite… My favorite."

"A blimp?" Ron asked after Pop Pop as Kim reached in her pocket. "Should be easy enough to spot."

"Wade, search UFO sites." She says as Wade comes up.

"What am I looking for?"

"Anything about Earth being invaded by giant sea creatures." She replies to him.

"Let's see. Giant pig in Belize. Pterodactyls in Pittsburgh. Wait. I got it! Giant Shrimp Attacks… New York City."

Night, New York City.

The three got to Times Square looking around as spotlights shined up. "What?"

They stopped as they heard a male's voice. "I know that voice," Kim said before looking up to see Adrena Lynn on the blimp at the door. "Adrena Lynn!

"What...?" The man asked before the crowd and Ron yelled.

"Will she do next?!"

"What a story! Adrena Lynn is a real hero." Ron said as Kim sighed.

"Ron, she stole that blimp."

"This is art, K.P… Sacrifices must be made."

Adrena Lynn's voice then popped up. "Tonight I will attempt the ultimate in extreme action. I will bungee jump from this blimp. Blindfolded… Freaky!"

She placed the blindfold on before falling. As she fell, the bungee snapped causing Kim to fly up via jetpack out of her backpack. "Got ya!" Kim looked down to see she was holding a dummy. "Huh? OK, that's annoying."

"Freaky!"

She turned to see Adrena Lynn on a building waving as Ron took pictures before seeing Kim land on the building beside Adrena Lynn's through the camera. "Oh, no. It can't be. It was just a dummy. She didn't even fall."

Middleton High Morning.

"Ron, get over it already."

Kim sighed as she opened her locker beside him. "Sorry, K.P., but discovering that your action hero is a big fake is not something you just get over."

"And this from a wrestling fan?" She asked as he blinked.

"I don't get the connection."

Naruto walked up as Wade came up on the screen in the locker as the printer printed papers. "Looks like Pop Pop Porter got so much publicity he's not pressing charges for the blimp theft."

"So she's getting away with it?!" Ron asked in shock.

"Well, I was able to highlight the key areas on that photo file."

"She calls herself extreme. The big fake. Well, Adrena Lynn might get a pass from Pop Pop but Ron Stoppable smells a story."

Later, Kim was watching the news in her locker. "And in our top story, Ron Stoppable of the Middleton High newspaper reports that extreme teen, Adrena Lynn, is an extreme fake."

"I'm in the paper, too." Kim turned to Ron who held up the city paper. "I'm national, baby."

Kim took it and read the headline. "'Ace reporter, Ron Stoppable heralded for breaking the story of TV fake. Adrena Lynn's ratings plummet faster than her fake fall.'" Kim sighed as she handed Ron the paper.

"Can this get any more annoying?"

Beep, Beep Ba-Beep!

"What up, Wade?" She asked, pulling the Kimmunicator up.

"It's your brothers."

Middleton Hospital.

"You were doing what?!"

Kim asked as Tim had a broken right leg and Jim had a broken left arm. "Bungee jumping out of a blimp. Like Adrena Lynn." Jim said before high-fiving his brother with his non-broken arm.

"Only we didn't have a blimp so we used the roof," Tim spoke up after.

"And we didn't have a bungee cord so we used yarn."

"That Adrena Lynn is a menace!" James said before Ann looked at her sons.

"And she didn't bungee jump out of a blimp. Don't you boys watch the news?"

"Nah, the only show we watch is Adrena Lynn. Hey, it's time!" Jim said, turning the TV on and showing a male reporter.

"And reports that Adrena Lynn is a fake coupled with a rash of copycat stunts across the country has prompted this network to cancel Adrena Lynn in favor of more responsible programming. So, stay tuned for an extra hour of Stuff On Fire."

Kim turned it off and sighed.

Middleton High.

The cheerleaders were practicing again.

Hip to the left

Hip to the right

Spin and slide

Who's going to win against Eastside?

Who? Who?

"Looking good, K.P."

Kim stopped to see Ron walking with a group with sunglasses. "Oh, don't worry, baby I'm not going to forget about the little people who got me where I am today."

"It's like he resets after every adventure like an episodic show." Naruto sighed from his spot on the bench.

Farmland.

Adrena Lynn was driving her van with her cameraman down a farm road before hitting the brakes. "She is so toast. Roll the camera."

"Hello, Lynn. We've been canceled." The cameraman said as she glared.

"We're not canceled until I say we're canceled!" He pulled the camera up and started rolling. "A lonely highway. A desperate mission. Tonight, I will pull my greatest stunt yet… Revenge against Kim Possible, Naruto Uzumaki, and Ron Stoppable!" She signaled to cut the feed before continuing. "How's that for a teaser?"

"Good. It'd be better if we had an audience." He says as she smiles.

"Oh, we will."

Night Possible Household.

James was looking at the screen of the TV that showed just static, trying for hours to fix it before Kim walked in.

"What the (Beep!) is this?"

They turned to see the TV turned on showing Naruto tied up on a roller coaster car before the camera panned to Adrena Lynn. "Adrena Lynn!/Adrena Lynn!"

"Hmm. I thought she was canceled." James said turning the channel only to show the same thing on every channel.

"Tonight, Ron Stoppable Kim Possible versus me in extreme combat. And to raise the stakes, I have Kim's boyfriend."

"(Beep!) you!"

Middleton Fairgrounds.

"Kim, the only thing down this road is the old Middleton fairgrounds."

"High school pretty boy Naruto Uzumaki takes the ride of his life and only one person can save him. His beloved girlfriend Kim Possible."

Naruto sighed before speaking. "I'm holding up a finger for you, guess which one!"

She just turned the ride on having his roll to a broken [part on the other side of the coaster. Kim and Ron who lifted to the fun-house And fell through a mirror to the bumper cars where Adrena Lynn was riding around. "Playing games when poor Naruto is hurtling towards his doom? What kind of girlfriend are you?" She taunted as Kim got in a car herself drove after Lynn and knocked her to the ground off the ride.

She then ran to the coaster and started climbing before seeing Ron tied to the swing twirl ride. She then swung over to turn the ride off before Adrena Lynn swung into her. Ron then explained he was the one who printed the story about her only for it to have no effect. Kim meanwhile got on a sky ride and used her jetpack to pull Naruto off the ride before grabbing Adrena Lynn and flying up high.

"Let's see. What will I do next?"

"Uh, I do extreme stunts for a living. You think I'm afraid of heights?"

"You fake extreme stunts," Kim said before spinning. "Let the world see how brave you are when there's real danger. Not so extreme after all, now, are you? Are you?"

"No." Andrea Lynn says scared.

Later, after Adrena Lynn and her cameraman were arrested, Naruto looked at Kim.

Smack!

"Ow!"

"Language Naruto!"

"It was censored!" He whined rubbing the back of his head.

OK, looking back at this episode, I think they predicted the influencers that do dumb shit for views, but I'm thinking the reason that Adrena Lynn didn't come back was because of her catchphrase.

I mean personally, I wouldn't have minded a villain that created death-defying stunts for Kim to do would have been something to watch.
