We're back on chapter eight.

Inside the mine, the heroes and the retired villain were continuing walking in search for the Heart of Storybrooke. Mikey was getting tired of all the walking.
"How long have we started walking?" he asked.
"Four and a half hours." Fiona said.
"Man. This would take forever." Casey said.
"We better keep moving, Casey." April said. "We have to get that Heart."
"Can't we just take a break. My feet are tired." Mikey said.
"Oh, Michelangelo." Donatello said.
"Just keep moving. We have to get to that Emerald." Raph said.
"Well, how far does it take to get to that Emerald anyway?" Casey asked.
"Oh, properly at the center of the mine." Fiona said.
"WHAT?! That far?!" Casey complained.
"Casey, Mikey, come on." Leonardo said. "We have to keep going."
"But it's gonna take the next hours to get there, and my feet are killing me." Mikey said.
"Guys, tell me something." Leo said. "Did we give up when the Kraang invaded New York?"
"No." Mikey and Casey said.
"No. Did we give up when you put mutagen on yourself and get pimples around your body?"
"Oh, you have to bring that up." Mikey remember that time.
"Yeah, but we didn't." Raphael said.
"And did we give up on Kirby after we dropped mutagen on him, turned him into a bat, and April hated us for it?"
"No, you didn't." April said with a smile.
"And did we give up when Karai…"
"Okay, okay. We all never give up." Karai said. "But did we when Shredder mutated himself and tried to kill us?"
"No." the Hamato ninjas answered.
"Your point being?" Fiona asked.
"We will never give up. And we will not rest until this Emerald is safe from the Dark Odei." Emma said.
"She's right. Now, let's move out." Leo said.
The group continued their journey, but little did they know, the Odei herself and her minions were in stealth.
Hours later, the group continued walked and they stopped at three passages.
"Three passages?" Casey complained. "Aw, man."
"Great, which way do we go?" Raph asked.
"That would be that way." Emma pointed to the left way.
"Okay, that way is where we're going." Leo said.
The group walked in the left passage.
Minutes later, the group walked some more, and Fiona was eating Doritos.
"Can you at least share?" Mikey asked.
"Here." Fiona gave Mikey a packet of Doritos.
"So, you married Peter Pan." Mikey said.
"His name was Malcom." Fiona said.
"I had that thought you married him when he was… I don't know, sixteen?"
"He was thirty and I was thirty-one when we got married." Fiona said. "What am I, a creep?"
"Anyway, how come you've listened to 'Macarena'?" Mikey asked. "That's my favourite music."
"Oh, I've got a crystal ball, been watching the Land Without Magic. And after my son died, I started my retirement like a mortal."
"You know, I've heard Rumpelstiltskin was a hero, giving his heart to Wish Realm Hook, to stop your Rumple." Mikey said.
"That's why I'm retired." Fiona said.
"We saw that back there." Mikey said.
"But knowing that this other Rumple, having a good life, and mine embraced the Darkness as the Dark One. That was a punishment for becoming the Black Fairy."
"Hey, you can at least do what he did, redeeming himself." Mikey said.
"That won't be easy." Fiona said.
"It would be. That's your choice." Mikey said.
Fiona sighed at the conversation with Michelangelo.
Hours later, the group continued walking. Casey, Mikey and Fiona were getting exhausted from all the working for hours.
"I don't know if it's getting dark, but we'll have to rest." Emma said.
"I think you're right." Leo said.
"Oh, thank God." Casey said before he landed his face on the ground, resting.
"It's about time." Mikey said. "I ran out of water."
"Is the compass still glowing?" Donnie asked.
"Yeah, it is." Emma said.
"How can you turn it off?" Raph asked.
"If we find the Emerald." Fiona said.
Karai saw something in a passage. "Hey, guys. What is blue and is glowing light?"
"Not now, Karai." April asked.
"Oh, I love riddles." Mikey said. "What is?"
"I thought you'd come and see for yourself."
The group walked to Karai, and they saw what they had saw. The Heart of Storybrooke. A blue glowing emerald floating at the center of the mine.
The group cheered as they had finally found the Emerald at last.
"We made it!" Emma said.
"Finally." Raph said. "Now what?"
"What do you mean?" Emma asked.
"How can you use its magic on the Dark Odei?" Raph asked.
"We'll just have to test it." Donnie suggested.
"I don't know if I'm strong enough to control it." Emma said.
"We have to do something to get rid of that monster that looked like me." Karai said.
"Where did it come from anyway?" Casey wondered.
Mikey was thinking about the time he messed up. It was him who created the Odei in the first place.
"Uh, Donnie, do you even recognize that ooze from the Odei?"
"It looked familiar, why?" Donnie asked.
"Well, it could be any ooze." Mikey said nervously.
"Mikey, what are you trying to tell us?" Leo asked.
Mikey hesitated; he was too scared to tell the truth.
"Because the reason the Odei was born is me. I made her from Karai's DNA!"
The group were surprised at Mikey.
"My DNA?" Karai asked.
"Her DNA? What do you mean you made her?" Fiona asked.
"Well, I accidently spilled my soda on the computer, and it sorta made that black ooze came to life."
"Black ooze? MY black ooze?" Donnie asked shockingly. "YOU messed with my lab, and you lied to me about it?!"
"I'm sorry." Mikey said.
"Sorry doesn't cut it. Now the whole world is in danger because of you." Raph said. "Some ninja. You're just a screwup."
Raph smacked Mikey at the back of his head. Then Mikey pushed Raph to the ground.
"I'm tired of you picking on me. You never appreciate me as I am. All you guys made me feel like I'm an idiot! I know I messes things up all the time. I goofed off all the time, but I meant well."
"Of course you do mean well, Mikey." Emma said.
"You're not angry with me?" Mikey asked.
"Accidents happen. I brought Marian to the future and ruined Regina's chance to find true love." Emma said.
"What about when Killian was cut by Excalibur, you turned him into a Dark One?" Casey asked.
"Oh, that was different." Emma said.
"I can't believe you messed up my lab." Donnie said. "But I can't stay mad at you."
"Me neither." Raph said.
"Now, I guess I figured that that ooze thing is sorta my clone." Karai said. "But that does not mean she and I are alike."
"Yes, we are."
"No, we're not." Karai said.
"Yes, we are."
"No, we're not." Karai said.
"Yes, we are."
"No, we're not!" Karai yelled, but she knows who that was. "She's here."
The Foot-Bots charged at the group who fought back. Fiona blasted her dark magic at the robots, but then a tentacle wrapped around her, and it threw her to the wall.
The Dark Odei stretched her hand and grabbed Karai. She pulled her to her, face to face.
"We are much alike, you and I." the Odei said. "We both wanted power."
"Just because you had my memories, doesn't make you me." Karai said.
"Don't you want to see your parents again, Miwa? This Emerald is beyond all the magic rules. I can use it to bring them back to life. We can have a happy ending. And as for you, Fiona. I'll bring your family back to life, and your counterpart and her family as well. Join me."
Fiona gets back on her feet. "I appreciate that offer, but I'm retired from villainy."
"And I'm not going back to be manipulated." Karai said.
"Suit yourselves."
The Odei threw Karai at Fiona. April tried to strike, but the creature grabbed her arms.
"Mmh, hey there, gorgeous. Are you single?" the Odei asked lustfully.
April used her powers to knock the Odei down.
"Whoo, look at you, girl. You've got the moves." she said. "That's wifey there."
Donnie whacks the Odei with his staff. He and April looked at Karai who gets back up.
"I was not that flirtingly. Not even with you." Karai said.
Stockman grabbed Donnie and threw him at his brothers. The robots tried to attack, but Emma and Fiona used their powers to destroy them.
The turtles attacked five Foot-Bots, and Casey whacked one robot. Stockman tried to attack the heroes, but Donnie knocked him down with his staff.
The Ode rises back up and threw her big pile of ooze at the heroes. They were trapped.
"Thanks, Emma. I couldn't have done it without you."
The Odei glided to the Emerald, and her tentacles wrapped around it. The Heart turned dark as the Odei was containing it. As she absorbed it, the Odei morphed into a flood of ooze. Fiona and Emma held tight to the turtles and their friends and they disappeared into smoke.
