The Troop, Erin, and Zeon managed to escape the fog monsters by hiding in the museum.

"Is everyone alright?" cadence asked.

"I think so," said Gerald.

"Gerald, your head is bleeding," said Amy. "You must've hit it in the crash."

"It's fine, really," said Gerald trying to ignore his wound. "Let's just get to the high school."

"End of the world or not, you still need medical attention," said Amy.

"I think you better do what she says," Nathan whispered to Gerald.

"Fine," said Gerald.

Amy pulled out a pack of tissues from her bag to stop the bleeding.

"Erin, could you go look for a first aid kit?" Zeon asked.

"I barely know anything about human medication, so what does this first aid kit look like?" asked Erin.

"Just look for a white box with a red cross on it," said Zeon. "And don't use your super speed, like a Zurnumos, the zoastras can sense the abilities of other monsters, so they can use that to their advantage to find us."

"Understood," said Erin, and he normally walked away.

"Keep these on your head for a little while to keep the bleeding down," said Amy.

"Thanks," said Gerald. "How far away are we from the high school, Zeon?"

"Not very far," he said. "We can take a shortcut through the forest just passed the cemetery located two blocks behind the museum."

"Let's wait for Erin though," said Nathan. "He can be very helpful to us when facing a monster."

"You just want to avoid going through the cemetery, do you?" Cadence asked.

"Just so you know, I can handle monsters, but cemeteries just aren't really my thing," he said.

"Humans have the strangest forms of paranoia," Zeon said to himself.

All of a sudden, they heard a loud crash coming from one of the halls, so they went to investigate.

In the hall of dinosaurs, a T-rex skeleton toppled to a pile of bones, but something was moving under the pile.

A monster with the head and tail of a crocodile, the front legs of a lion, the back legs of a camel, and a shaggy mane came out of the pile with a bone in its mouth.

"What is it?" Nathan asked Zeon.

"Monster 700, a Heart Eater, or as the Egyptians call it 'Ammit'," he said.

A green vapor came out of the museum vents; it then made the heart eater drop the bone.

The green vapor then seeped into the dinosaur skeletons including the T-rex bone pile; the T-rex skeleton bones came back together, and the rest of the skeletons came to life.

"Those had to have been vapor monsters," said Amy.

The heart eater started to smell the air in the direction the Troop was.

"Gerald, it smells your blood," Zeon whispered.

The heart eater growled at the smell of human blood then it crept its way toward the hall entrance.

Around the corner, Zeon and the Troop were gone; all that the heart eater found was the tissue with Gerald's blood on it.

The heart eater sniffed through to the hall of human history where there were wax figures of humans throughout the ages.

Zeon and the Troop were all disguised as what these wax figures were dressed as; Gerald was a Roman soldier, Amy was a medieval maid, Nathan was a Spanish conquistador, Cadence was a Chinese samurai warrior, and Zeon was a pioneer.

The heart eater tried to sniff out Gerald's blood, but the smell of wax was in the air that it wasn't able to.

It deeply growled then it blasted a wave of heat from its mouth across the room.

Zeon and the Troop were trying to withstand the heat, but the heart eater was really blasting out heat to melt the wax figures.

The wax figures melted into puddles while Zeon and the Troop were still standing all sweaty.

"Run!" shouted Gerald.

They all ran out of the room with the heart eater chasing them; they ran back into the hall of dinosaur skeletons where the living skeletons tried to attack them.

"To the loading dock at the back of the museum!" said Cadence avoiding the skeletons.

They managed to escape into the hall leading towards the loading dock; some of the skeletons were too big to fit through the hall, but the heart eater was still pursuing them.

They came to the door to the loading dock, but the door was locked.

The heart eater was creeping closer to them and there was no other way out.

It was about to attack them, but an invisible force through it against the wall knocking it unconscious; The invisible force was Erin.

"Someone need a first aid kit?" he said holding it up.

The others smiled at him then he busted the door open.

"We better hurry, we only have less than two and a half hours till midnight," said Amy.

"And even though Erin saved us, he used his invisibility which means the zoastras probably know about what we're up to now," said Zeon.

"Okay, let's ditch these disguises and get to the high school," said Gerald.
