AN: I posted this on AO3, but I wanted to post this here, too! Bit, by bit! It's essentially a Hazbin Hotel fanfic crossing over with an OC world of mine! Hope you guys enjoy!

A bus was seen driving along the streets of Louisiana. The destination: New Orleans!

Inside are the voices of many middle-schoolers talking to each other. Each of them is excited that they're going to a big city, and many of them are excited to be there for the first time. Two of them are especially excited!

In one row, a 12-year-old Caucasian boy named Boris looks outside, seeing the city's tall buildings in the distance. The boy sighs with a big smile. Then, he feels a heavy weight on top of his head. He looks at the faint reflection on the glass window and finds no one.

"Mom!" he giggles. Then he hears a young girl's giggle and sees a Hispanic "12"-year-old girl, his step-sister, looking at him with a smile.

"Guess again, squirt!" says the girl named Antonia. Boris giggles and shakes her off.

"What are you doing here? You're not part of my class," asks Boris. Antonia shrugs and replies,

"Well, my dad says that he needs to attend a meeting in Madrid with the other vampires, and he doesn't trust me by myself. A bit dumb, you ask me."

"Oh really? Remember what happened last time you were left alone?" reminds Boris.

*flashback*

We cut to a flashback of a flustered Antonia standing in the middle of the chaotic mess that was once the family living room. In front of her is her father, and he's shouting at her in Spanish for creating the mess in the first place. Nearby are Boris and his mother, watching with widened eyes.

*Flashback ends*

"Oh, yeah. Heh, that's a bit funny looking back on that. Destroying the house over a…I forgot what it was for," reminisced Antonia.

"It was for chasing a spider. A strong vampire like yourself is scared of an itsy-bitsy spider," Boris teases, making Antonia growl.

"It's a BIG spider, pendejo. It's as big as my beach ball," she shivers. Boris chuckles, causing Antonia to pout before hissing at him, her unhinged jaw revealing sharp teeth and elongated fangs and her eyes turning to an unnatural yellow. Boris flinches at first before patting her cheek.

"You don't scare me anymore, sissy," he replies, making Antonia growl. Then, her eyes widen and she says, "Oh shit."

Boris looks ahead and sees one of the students, a nerdy-looking girl, staring at Antonia with shock, and his blood runs cold.

"Uh…hey. D-Do you like my sister's make-up?" he asks sheepishly before Antonia raises her hands.

"You will forget you ever saw me hiss and sleep upside down until the bus stops at our destination," compelled Antonia. Immediately, the girl straightens up before rolling on her back before they hear snoring. The boy sitting next to the hypnotized girl looks at her and whispers, "What the fuck?"

Antonia snickers, and so does Boris. Then, some footsteps come over, and a woman who appears to be in her early-mid "40s" named Ella.

"You two not causing any trouble, I hope?" she asks. Boris and Antonia shake their heads, but Antonia seems less confident. Ella hums at her suspiciously, then looks at the upside-down girl sleeping in front of them.

"S-She deserved it!" justifies Antonia. Ella shakes her head before she says,

"Antonia, I promised your father that you wouldn't get into trouble again, so PLEASE try and keep control of yourself. I don't wanna have to defang you, okay?"

Boris blinks as Antonia shivers.

"Yes, ma'am," shivers Antonia. Ella nods and ruffles the kids' heads before walking away. Antonia sighs as Boris looks at her.

"We should've been a bit more careful," he mutters. Antonia nods. However, their worries soon fade away as they arrive at the city.

Later, the bus stops, and the door opens, with many kids pouring out, excited to explore a new area. Among them are Boris and Antonia, with Ella tagging along not far behind. The students and the chaperones then turn to look at the teacher, an African-American male in his 40s named Mr. Augustine.

"Alright, kids. You all know the routine: stick with your group and listen to your chaperones as you take notes about New Orleans for your upcoming test! Are we good?" instructs Mr. Augustine. The students nod in agreement before everyone gets into their groups. Boris and Antonia are grouped with two other students, a boy and a girl. Antonia blinks before looking at Boris.

"Hey, what did you choose to study about New Orleans?" she asks. Boris grows a sheepish smile.

"Uh… serial killers," he replies. Antonia blinks in surprise.

"Serial killers? You and your group decide on THAT?" she asks. Boris chuckles sheepishly and prepares to answer when the other boy in the group, 12-year-old Patrick, chimes in.

"We couldn't think of anything else. This was a last-minute suggestion," he replies. Antonia hums in understanding before struggling.

"Whatever. Sounds like an interesting thing to talk about, anyway. So, we ready?" she asks. Boris nods, and the group soon joins Ella and the others as they begin to explore the city.

The class stuck together as they explored the city's highlights, such as the New Orleans Museum of Arts, the Pilot House Museum, the Aubodon Aquarium, and the Zoo, just to name a few.

As the group continues its travel, Boris watches the city with admiration while Antonia simply watches with amusement, musing comments like, "Not a lot has changed." and "Ugh, why did they have to make it so…commercial-like?!" and while at the Zoo, "Hey, Natasha! Haven't seen you in forever!"

"Um, are you sure it's a good idea to talk to the alligator while surrounded by other people?" asks Boris as they are at the American Alligator enclosure, with Antonia pressed up against the glass and talking to one of the alligators. Antonia nods innocently.

"Yup! It's like talking to a pet dog!" she explains. Some of the pedestrians and students look at her like she's insane, but Boris shrugs.

"Fair enough," he says before he watches Antonia talking to the alligator, ignoring a comment from a student calling her "Loser."

"Alright, guys! Let's go!" calls out Mr. Augustine. Antonia and Boris look at where the teacher calls before leaving. But not before Antonia approaches a nearby zookeeper and says, "Can you get someone to look at Natasha? She says she's got a tapeworm," before walking off. The zookeeper looks at her like she's insane and shakes her head as the children catch up with the rest of the group.

"HIS name's Carl," remarked the zookeeper.

Later that evening, after the tour is finished, the class arrives at a hotel that the school has booked beforehand for themselves and the students to rest. Mr. Augustine instructed the students to stay in their room with their assigned chaperones. Unfortunately, Ella is assigned to chaperone another group, so Boris's group is looked after by another indifferent chaperone: a 22-year-old woman who is usually on her phone. However, this does not stop the group from messing around and talking about their trip.

While the chaperone is on her phone, Boris and Antonia are on one of the beds with Patrick and the fourth member, 13-year-old Charlotte.

"So, how's New Orleans like?" asks Antonia to the group.

"Amazing! First time being in a big city," Boris replies.

"Same! So many things I've seen in vlogs to finally see in person!" adds Charlotte.

"Eh, it's all the same I've seen in pictures online," shrugs Patrick. Charlotte looks at him in disbelief.

"Seeing them in person is different than in photos. You feel like you're actually a part of it!" she argues. Patrick retorts, and the two of them begin to argue with each other. Antonia and Boris look at each other and shrug.

Soon, it's time for everyone to rest up and prepare for another day of exploration tomorrow. Boris's group sleeps in both beds in the room while the chaperone sleeps on the chair in a rather uncomfortable position.

Then, Boris feels something press up against him. He hums slightly, sleeping through the quiet commotion. Then, he hears the sound of something opening, which only slightly sturs him. However, the chaperone's voice does wake him up slightly. As he stretches and groans, he hears Antonia saying,

"You will stay asleep and not remember me escaping through the window. You will wake up at sunrise."

Boris groans as he slowly sits up and looks to see Antonia hypnotizing the chaperone, who straightens up briefly before slumping back to sleep. Boris blinks as he rubs his eyes.

"A-Antonia? What the hell are you doing?" he asks. Antonia looks at him and gives a grin.

"I'm sneaking out! Some of my friends live in this city and invited me to a party. I wanna, no, I'm GOING to meet them tonight for the party!" she whispers. Boris tilts his head.

"You have friends?" he asks. Antonia raises a brow and gives him a "Really?" look on her face. "I-I mean, in this city?" corrects Boris, not intending to offend her. Antonia chuckles and approaches him.

"Yeah! They want to know if you wanna come along, too. Do you?" she whispers. Boris blinks, suddenly a bit apprehensive. Antonia's smile softens and approaches.

"It's okay, hermanito. They know that you're my brother, and as long as I've known them, they will never lay a finger on you. Plus, they know about what happened between you, Mrs. Birgham, and the Pureblood outlaws, so they'll lay off unless they want her on their asses. Okay?" reasons Antonia. Boris frowns at the mention of the Pureblood outlaws. Faint memories of what happened begin to resurface as he runs his hand on the left side of his neck.

"Uh, y-yeah. You're right, I should be fine," he says. Antonia frowns upon seeing how uncomfortable he looks.

"Are you sure, Boris? I-If you want, I'll-"

"I said I'm fine," snaps Boris. Antonia flinches back a bit, making Boris feel guilty.

"I'm sorry. I just…I'll be fine, Antonia. I know how vampires work; I can defend myself. So don't worry about me, okay?" he asks. Antonia looks at him, still unsure, before smiling softly.

"Oh, you little tonto. Come here," she says before pulling Boris into a hug. Boris smiles as he hugs her back. Then, Antonia picks him up effortlessly, making him giggle.

"Now come on. We've got a nightlife to explore," she whispers before walking over to the window and crawling down the outside wall like a spider before closing the window.

Outside, Antonia jumps from building to building, carrying a giggling Boris, who holds her back for dear life. Boris's heart pumps from the adrenaline rush as Antonia zooms across the building's walls. He enjoys this activity quite a lot because of the rush.

After a while, Antonia soon arrives at New Orleans City Park. She lands on the ground, and Boris climbs off of her, giggling rapidly as his arms shiver.

"That…was awesome! I'll never get tired of that," he muses. Antonia giggles as she soon pulls out her phone.

"Alright, she said she'd be in this park. Come on, let's go!" she explains before taking Boris's hand and pulling him further into the park.

After a while, they arrive at a stone bridge overlooking a river, where Antonia spots a "15"-year-old Palestinian girl standing at the bridge. With her are three other kids: two boys and a girl, all of them around 13-15 years of age. The group is throwing racist insults at the Palestinian girl, who looks to be trying her best to hold herself together.

"Hey, get out of this country!"

"Don't go around blowing stuff up, terrorist!"

"I've got nothing else to add, but you don't belong here!"

Boris frowns before feeling a sense of anger rising from inside. He begins to stomp forward before Antonia holds him back.

"Take it easy, bro. Nadia's got this," she assures. Boris blinks in confusion before he turns back.

The girl, Nadia, straightens herself up, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. The racist idiots laugh, thinking she's going to lecture them. They do not see Nadia's eyes opening, revealing a haunting, unnatural yellow glow.

"Aww, what's the matter? Gonna give us one of those boring lect-" one of the teens taunts before Nadia, with her supernatural speed, turns around and bites the teen's neck. The other teens, as well as Antonia and Boris, all gasp in shock and horror as Nadia rips into the neck before ripping out the jugular. Nadia tosses the body aside as she swallows the flesh whole before staring at the other two teens. Then, before anyone could even finish processing what happened, Nadia superspeeds to the other teen boy and gives him an uppercut, decapitating him and sending his head flying up into the air. The surviving teen girl whimpers as Nadia approaches her.

"No! N-No, wait, please! I'm sorry, I'm sor-" pleads the girl before Nadia grabs her by the mouth, pulls her close, and bites her neck. The girl's screams are muffled by Nadia's hand, but she tries to fight back and push her away, which is useless against Nadia's super strength.

Boris watches in shock, and he stays silent. Antonia looks back and sees the horrified look on his face. She responds by pulling him close in assurance.

"I swear, she's not always like that. She's just like that to assholes like those brats," she assures. Boris looks at her and nods in understanding, although the little vampire can still sense his fear.

Back at the carnage, Nadia finishes draining the girl, whose body is no more than a shriveled-up, pale husk. Then, she lets go and drops the body, sighing in contentment.

"*sigh* I feel much better now," she says before she pulls out her phone and begins typing into it.

Upon seeing that the carnage is over, Antonia taps Boris's shoulder.

"It's okay, it's over," she points out. Boris nods.

"I-I can see that," he muses before he sees something fade into view.

Above, several ghostly spirits appear from the darkness and arrive at the scene. To Boris's amazement, they float over the bodies, and blood splatters. One moment, the carnage is there, and the next, the mess disappears after the spirit floats past them. Some spirits are even going up and down certain trees and poles as if to search for something. One ghostly spirit even floats over to Nadia, the mist cleaning up the blood on her mouth and her shirt, almost as if nothing had happened.

Then, just as suddenly as they appear, they disappear, leaving a satisfied Nadia and an amazed Boris.

"Woah…how did that happen?" he asks Antonia. Antonia looks at him and is about to respond when,

"It's because of this kickass app."

Boris gasps and collapses, not expecting Nadia to appear right before them. Nadia blinks in surprise before she giggles. Antonia smiles and raises a fist.

"Nadia! Saw what you did. Fuckin' amazing!" she congratulates as she and Nadia do a fist-bump.

"Thanks. So satisfying to have such pieces of shit getting what they deserve," Nadia replies. Then she looks at Boris.

"So, this is the famous Boris, the 'Survivor of Purebloods.'?" she asks. Antonia nods as Boris stands up.

"Yup! Nadia, this is my brother, Boris. Boris, as you saw, this is my friend Nadia!" says Antonia as she motions to her brother first and then to her friend. Nadia smiles as she extends her hand to Boris, making the boy flinch. However, Boris puts up a brave face and shakes it.

"Uh, n-nice to meet you too," he responds. Nadia giggles and looks at Antonia with a smile.

"You're right. He IS a cutie," she says, making Antonia giggle. Then Nadia looks at Boris and, sensing his still rapidly beating heartbeat, frowns. "You saw what happened, didn't you?" she asks. Boris nods before he replies,

"I-It's fine, though. I get why you guys do it. It's just the brutality, that's-"

"It's okay, kiddo. I get you're still afraid. Frankly, I'd be worried if you weren't afraid. And I'm really sorry you had to see that. It's just those assholes have been pestering me for over an HOUR just because they don't like the fact that I'm from Palestine. I wonder why…" interrupts Nadia as she narrows her eyes at the last part. However, she softens her gaze and adds, "But I would never hurt you, little guy. You're not only Antonia's step-brother, but I know about you and your mother."

"Y-You do? Is that why you just called me 'The Survivor of Purebloods?'" asks Boris. Nadia nods.

"Yeah. Not an easy feat, and for that, you've earned my respect. Plus, you seem like a good kid, too," Nadia says as she ruffles his hair. Boris giggles a bit at the gesture, making Antonia smile between them.

"Thanks. Oh, and I'm sorry about those jerks. I support you and your people," he says.

"Aww, thanks, kid," replies Nadia. Antonia approaches them.

"See? He's a sweetheart," she says. Nadia nods before Antonia asks, "So, where are the others?"

"Oh, they're at the secret gathering of vampires near the Botanical Garden. You can come along too if you want, Boris!" explains Nadia. Boris hums in intrigue while Antonia becomes apprehensive.

"Um, I'd love to, but, I'm not sure about-" she says as she motions her head to Boris.

"Antonia, we've talked about this. I'm fine. As long as I have you guys around, right?" he assures. Antonia looks unsure still, but Nadia places a hand on her shoulder.

"They also have special collars that will keep him safe. Granted, it's for familiars, but it'll keep him alive," she assures. Antonia ponders for a moment before nodding.

"If you say so," she explains. Boris and Nadia smile before the three of them go on their way. Along the way, Boris asks Nadia what the ghosts he had seen earlier. Nadia explains in detail as they walk to the Botanical Garden.

"You see, that's thanks to this kickass app made by vampires for vampires. It's designed to notify spirit wanderers that a vampire has killed someone or a group so they can clean it up and get rid of any evidence that anything happened there. Blood, bodies, footage, you name it," begins Nadia.

"Oh yeah, I've heard about it. Guess that explains some of the spirits going up and down poles and trees," ponders Antonia.

"Spirit Wanderers?" asks Boris.

"Spirits of humans who have died but are unable to ascend or descend to Heaven or Hell for whatever reason. The aristocracy has given many of them purpose as…well, janitors, essentially. But hey, it's what helps keep us hidden in such a technologically advanced world," answers Nadia. Boris nods in understanding before chuckling.

"It's like a saying mom told me about that relates to this whole "humans vs vampires" stuff. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome,"

Nadia grins at this while Antonia asks, "That from Man Vs. Wild?"

Boris nods, and so the three continue to talk as they make their way to the garden.

When they eventually arrive at the entrance of the Botanical Garden, they approach the main gate. A security guard is standing out at this time, guarding the place. He notices the group and shouts,

"Hey, the place is closed!"

Nadia steps ahead and smiles, showing her fangs. The guard blinks in surprise before sighing in relief, showing his fangs.

"Oh, thank Lilith. I thought ya'll are just another group of teens trying to fuck around in this place, literally in some cases. You here for the party?" he asks. Nadia and Antonia nod. The guard then notices Boris and grows surprised, asking,

"Ah, that the 'Survivor of Purebloods' boy?" he asks, growing an intrigued smile. Boris smiles, squeezing Antonia's hand, who tightens her hold assuringly. The guard nods and opens the gate.

"Right this way, please," he says as he guides the trio through the garden. Boris looks around, seeing the beauty of the place at night, which makes him smile. Antonia looks at him and notices that his rapid heartbeat is slowing down, which makes her smile. She can only hope that she won't regret bringing him along.

Eventually, the guard takes them to the entrance of the Pavilion of the Two Sisters. The kids can see several people gathering inside. Then, the guard arrives at the front door entrance, approaches a plastic box that is placed there, and pulls out…a dog collar.

"Sorry, kid. But you're going to need to wear this. It's mainly for familiars, but you never know: the smell of your blood will make them go wild thanks to your age," he explains. Boris takes the collar, looks at it, and frowns as he puts it on nonetheless.

"This is gonna look humiliating," he grumbles. Antonia giggles sympathetically.

"It is what it is," she says. The guards then bid them farewell before going back to his post.

The three walk inside, seeing numerous other vampires gathering about and socializing with each other. There are also a few humans either standing by their masters or serving them some blood. But all the humans are wearing collars, which makes Boris look at them in pity. Nadia then inhales and clasps her hands together.

"Alright, here we are! Now, the others should be around here somewhere…Oh, there they are!" she says, pointing to a table where several other vampires are sitting around: a "21"-year-old African-American woman named Luna, a "16'-year-old Caucasian boy named Darius, and a "31"-year-old Japanese man named Hiro. Boris looks on and then at Antonia.

"Are these your other friends?" he asks. Antonia nods as they approach the table.

"Yup! I turned them all a long time ago, and we've kept in contact since then!" she explains as Nadia calls out to the group. They look at her, then at Antonia and Boris before smiling.

"Ey, it's him!" Luna says as she sees Boris. Boris hums with intrigue.

"Wow. You're not joking, Nadia. Guess I'm more famous than I thought," he responds.

"Yeah. Like I said, what you did's not an easy feat," she says as they take their seats. The group then begins to chat, asking Boris questions. Boris is flattered by the attention, but it is starting to overwhelm him a bit.

"Isn't that how you got that bite mark?" asks Hiro. Boris blinks in surprise. Hiro points to his neck, and Boris runs his fingers on his neck. Sure enough, the faint but visible bite mark is visible to all. The group widens their eyes in surprise, while Antonia can tell that Boris is starting to become uncomfortable.

"Uh…y-yeah. Yeah, that was from them," he lies, hoping to drop the subject. Thankfully for him, Antonia says,

"Alright, guys. He's starting to get a bit uncomfortable, can we drop this?"

"Oh, right. Sorry about that, little dude," replies Darius. The other vampires on the table agree, looking at him apologetically. Boris looks at Antonia and smiles, appreciating the intervention. After a brief pause, Nadia then asks,

"So…I assume you don't live in this city, little guy?"

Boris, feeling more comfortable with this type of question, shakes his head.

"Nah. My family and I came from the countryside a couple dozen miles away. I'm not really used to city life, so some things are a bit new for me. Like that app you showed us, Nadia," he replies.

"Well, that app is mainly for vampires in cities or other urban areas—a higher chance of getting caught, but there is plenty of food. So, with that app, our chances of getting caught are lower!" reiterates Nadia. Then, Luna asks,

"So, what are you doing here in this city?"

"School Field Trip. We're spending two days here picking a subject about this city we've chosen for an upcoming test," replies Boris.

"Ah. So, what have you chosen?" asks Darius.

"Serial killers,"

The vampires blink in surprise.

"Serial killers? That's a bit weird," remarks Darius.

"Yeah. I'm part of a group that selected it. It's more of a last-minute suggestion," adds Boris. Then, he adds, "Well, the only problem that my group's having is…well, who are we studying? There's more than one serial killer, and I'm not talking about vampires."

They nod in understanding, but then Luna gasps.

"Oh, I think I've got an idea you're gonna love! I'll be back in 10 seconds!" she says before disappearing in a blur, leaving the chair to move back slightly. Boris blinks again as Antonia raises her hand.

"10…9…8…7…" she says. Boris raises a brow while the other vampires giggle.

"Uh, what are you-" begins Boris before Luna suddenly reappears, this time holding a small book.

"Tada!" she cheers as she hands the book to Boris.

"Oh, that's 6 seconds left," mumbles Antonia, a bit disappointed, while Hiro chuckles at her, telling her she owes him 5 dollars. Boris takes the book and looks at the cover.

"What's this?" he asks.

"It's called a book, chump," Darius replies. The group laughs while Boris sticks his tongue out.

"Very funny, smartass. I mean, who is this written by?" he sasses.

"It's an autobiography personally written by Alastor the Radio Killer, one of New Orleans's most notorious murderers," begins Luna as she leans closer.

"He has two sides, like all other killers. One, he was a radio host. The other is a brutal killer who loves to cut open his victims in some of the most twisted ways possible. There are a few rumors that he's not only a cannibal but also partakes in voodoo magic!"

Boris widens his eyes in amazement as he looks at her, then at the book. Hiro just sighs.

"Never mind her, Boris. She's just obsessed with him," groans Hiro.

"To an unhealthy degree," adds Darius.

"No, I'm not!" pouts Luna.

"Last time I visited your apartment, your bedroom had posters of Alastor fanart. Do you remember the notes some of the human neighbors have sent you? You know, 'Here's the number for my therapist,' or 'Get a lobotomy,' or something like that?" reminds Nadia. Antonia shakes her head with a giggle while Boris raises a brow.

"What's lobotomy?" he asks. This makes all of the vampires groan.

"I feel old already," groans Antonia.

"Sis, you're like 12," teases Boris.

"I'm 523 years old, you little shit," laughs Antonia as the two of them giggle. Then, Boris looks at the book and asks, "Where did you get this?"

"I…might have stolen it from the police in 1933 when Alastor died. Anyway, I hope this will help you with your studies!" explains Luna. Boris smiles at the kind gesture.

"Thanks, Luna. Really appreciate it," he responds. Luna smiles again as she raises a fist for a fist bump.

"No problem. Any friend of Antonia is a friend of ours. Vampire or human," she assures with a kind voice. Boris responds by bumping her fist with his, making the other vampires smile. Antonia looks at Nadia warmly, and her friend returns the gesture. Both of them think that maybe it isn't a bad idea to bring him here after all.

However, the peaceful interaction only lasts for a short time.

The door to the room opens up, and all of the vampires and familiars move out of the way as an imposing middle-aged male vampire, followed by several younger, taller female vampires, walking into view. Boris looks on, but he feels Antonia gently but firmly grabbing his shoulder. He looks at her, and she makes a "hushing" motion.

"That's Guillaume. Ever since he arrived here when New Orleans was a French territory, he's been the leader of all vampires in this area. He HATES the idea of humans and vampires getting along," she explains. Boris widens his eyes, but she calms him down.

"As long as you keep that collar on, you'll be fine. Okay, kid?" instructs Hiro, concerned for his safety. Boris nods, but he remains nervous. Then, they hear the sound of a microphone. They turn to see an announcer.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I-I give to you: Lord Guillaume," he meekly presents, causing a round of applause from the other vampires, including Boris's group, even if the clapping is more polite than genuine happiness.

Guillaume thanks the announcer and takes the microphone, clearing his throat.

"Thank you all for coming to this party. This little party is dedicated to how far we have come as a species: from one of many byproducts of Our Maker Lilith's prized creation, the Strigoi, to the dominant beings of the supernatural world, we certainly have come far ahead of anyone's expectations, even in such an increasingly digital world!" he proclaims, causing another round of applause. Then, he grows a frown.

"However, despite our progress, I can't help but notice that our kind seems too relaxed. Some of us are forming genuine bonds with the mortals, going so far as even to raise some of their children!" he growls. His female followers growl as if to add to the annoyance. Boris scoots closer to Antonia, who gently pats him. Then, Guillaume eyes the table Boris is at and points to it, the eyes of the party moving to Boris, who begins to panic.

"For example, this boy! The 'Survivor of Purebloods.' Not only did his outcast of a mother defeat them in HIS honor, but his continued existence is a blight on our kind's honor! We should NOT be celebrating or honoring this!" he declares.

Boris can immediately feel his eyes boring into his skull. Looking around, he sees the other vampires looking at him. Some of them with intrigue, but others with contempt, fewer still with hunger, which makes him scared. Thankfully, Antonia steps in front of him.

"Lay off. He just wants to survive like the rest of us!" she declares, baring her fangs out. The outburst shocks everyone, with one of Guillaume's female followers hissing.

"Shut the fuck up, you little brat!" she growls. Antonia glares at them as Guillaume narrows his eyes.

"You see? My point exactly. He even has a formidable vampire become a weakling of a sympathizer!" he proclaims.

"She's my sister, leech!" shouts Boris. Everyone tenses up at the derogatory insult, and Antonia glares at him. However, Guillaume clears his throat.

"Even worse, a familial bond! Oh my, how have our kind fallen? Well…no more. Starting tomorrow, my concubines will enforce a policy in this city and surrounding territory: coexistence between mortal and vampire will NOT be tolerated!" he declares. There is muted applause, with most vampires shocked by this revelation. However, several hisses from the concubines make the applause increase in volume. Boris and Antonia look at each other in shock.

"A-Antonia?" he asks.

"Oh shit. *sigh* Fuck," complains Antonia. Next to them, Nadia, Luna, Darius, and Hiro look on with pity and guilt. When the applause ends, Guillaume smiles.

"Starting tomorrow, I will lure our kind to their proper place at the top of the food chain as our forebearers have intended! For now, though…stick around. Some lovely entree is coming over shortly," he proclaims before bowing and leaving the podium. Antonia widens her eyes as she looks at a dejected Boris.

"Boris, we should leave. Boris," she says, gently shaking him. Boris shakes his head as he regains awareness and looks at her. "There's gonna be a bloodbath soon. We need to leave. Now!" she says as she takes him and pulls him up. Boris nods, and the two of them leave.

"W-Wait!" calls Nadia, feeling ashamed about what has happened. Then, she sees the autobiography on the table still. She picks it up and says to her friends, "Stay here. I'll be back," before rushing ahead.

Nearby, one of Guillaume's concubines sees Boris and Antonia walking off, and she narrows her eyes in contempt.

"Look at those two, fleeing like mice," she taunts. Another concubine approaches her and presses herself against her, purring,

"That bitch has no business getting along with him."

"Master, do you want us to go and fetch them?" the third concubine says as she approaches Guillaume. Guillaume shakes his head.

"Ma petite chou-fleur, I don't believe it's necessary…for now. As much as I hate them, I'm not suicidal. His mother is fiercely protective. Just look at those purebloods. They may have been outlaws, but their strength and power is very admirable, and yet THEY couldn't beat her. For now, let's just enjoy the buffet. But starting tomorrow, I want you to keep tabs on him vigilantly," he purrs, gently stroking her chin. "I'll make sure he has an appointment with Our Maker Lilith…"

Outside, Boris and Antonia continue to walk when they walk past a group of familiars pushing a crate past them. They can hear muffled screams coming from inside. Boris and Antonia look on in concern.

"Maybe it'll be faster if we fly back," suggests Antonia. Boris nods, but before he can climb on,

"Wait! Wait!"

They look back to see Nadia approaching them. Antonia narrows her eyes.

"Did you know he was gonna be here at this party?!" she growls, standing between her and Boris. Nadia shakes her head vehemently.

"I didn't. I swear on Lilith's grave, I didn't know," she answers. Antonia stares at her, examining her for anything deceitful. However, she finds nothing.

"Nadia, i-it's fine. I'm sorry that I-" begins Boris.

"No!" both girls said to him firmly, making him flinch.

"Don't apologize. I should've done more research before asking to bring him along. Oh, I'm SO fucking sorry, Boris," she says. Boris smiles gently and takes her hand.

"Thanks. I…I'm glad to have met you and the others at least," he assures. Nadia smiles, tears barely coming out of her eyes before she wipes them. Then, she hands him the book.

"You forgot this, little man," she says. Boris blinks in surprise before taking it back, thanking her. Then, Nadia looks at Antonia.

"We'll do our best to help you guys, okay? It's the least I can do after…well, that," she explains. Antonia, having relaxed, nods and hugs her.

"Good luck, girl," whispers Antonia. Nadia nods back.

"Good luck to you too. Both of you," she says. Then, as they pull back, they hear screaming from inside. Nadia looks back, then at her friends, before shrugging with a sheepish grin.

"Gotta head back inside. Girl's gotta eat, ya know?" she says before superspeeding back inside. Antonia nods before she lifts Boris over her shoulders and flies off. Boris clutches onto her and the book, thinking about everything that has happened. He's terrified of what Guiallmue has proclaimed and worries about his future in this city. All he can think about is,

Mom's not gonna be happy…

AN: Hey everyone, superkoola here!

Ey, my first Hazbin Hotel fanfic! I've been thinking about an idea on how to make a fanfic since I started getting into the franchise a while back. The stories and characters are so interesting! (Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the other stories from FNAF and Welcome Home and the like!) So after a while of pondering, I've decided to write one based on the world of a future story that I want to write for the big screen, about a boy living with a family of vampires. I thought it'd be more interesting!

So…that's all I have to say. Leave a comment for your thoughts, leave any criticism you have, and stay tuned for more!
