The following morning, Ryoma had gotten up early and gone to the indoor training area with his slimes.
"Oh," said Ryoma as he walked in on Riela training.
"Morning, Ryoma," said Riela after she noticed him.
"Morning, I hope you don't mind us coming here to train," said Ryoma while he and the slimes made their way over to a barrel with wooden swords in it.
"It's no problem," said Riela. A few minutes later she was watching as Ryoma and the slimes were fighting with the wooden swords, each slime was holding one weapon while swinging at Ryoma.
"That's it everyone, keep it up," said Ryoma while dodging some swords and blocking others.
"I can't believe what I'm seeing," said a stunned Riela.
"Those slimes are always a strange thing to see," said Miyabi who, alonged with the other girls, entered the room to watch the shocking sight of slimes fighting with weapons.
"Ryoma always has some big surprises," said Eliaria with a big smile.
"Hey, Ryoma," said Riela after a minute of silence, causing the boy and his slimes to stop and turn to face her.
"Is something wrong?" asked Ryoma.
"I know that this is sudden, but would you mind having a duel with me?" asked Riela.
"That is kind of sudden," said Kanan.
"I'm always looking to grow but it's tough to find someone on my level at the academy," said Riela while looking at the sword in her hand.
"So, I figured you must be strong to be able to train slimes like that and wanted to see what it would be like to fight you," she said.
"I don't mind a duel, but let's not use attack magic inside," said Ryoma.
"Right, we don't want to damage the room," said Riela.
"Why do I have a feeling this is going to be something crazy?" asked Miyabi with a sigh. To this the others just laughed.
