Later that day, Ryoma and the girls were in the living area of the estate just sitting around reading or playing games.
"How long can you be away from your store, Ryoma?" asked Eliaria.
"Mr. Callum has it under control," said Ryoma.
"In fact he's been watching the store so I can focus more on taking quests from the Adventurer's Guild as of late," he said.
"Why are you focusing more on quests?" asked Miyabi.
"I needed to get my Rank up to C as I…," said Ryoma before Elise entered with a woman behind her.
"Eliaria, your aunt is here," said Elise.
"Aunt Margaret!" said Eliaria as she got up to greet her, leaving the game she and Miyab had been playing.
"It's great to see you again, Eliaria," said Margaret.
"By the way, I brought you a present," she said before revealing a box that she had been hiding behind her back.
"You didn't have to do that," said Eliaria.
"It's something I thought you would like and couldn't resist," said Margaret. Eliaria then sat the box down on a coffee table.
"Whoa," said everyone as Eliaria opened it to see a creature made of all kinds of shining colors.
"Is it a slime?" asked Ryoma.
"A jewel slime, a special slime that creates shiny thread of multiple colors," said Elise as she smiled at the excited expressions that Ryoma and Eliaria were making.
"It's amazing," said Eliaria before using Tame on it.
"But it will be expensive to feed if its diet is jewels," said Ryoma.
"What do you mean?" asked Margaret while looking at him with a confused expression.
"I'll explain later," said Elise.
"What about monster gems?" asked Michelle.
"That could work," said Ryoma before pulling one out of his Item Box and held it out to the Slime.
"Looks like everything will be fine," said Eliaria as the jewel slime ate it.
