Part 5 - More Reactions
The next day, Owls came flying in to the Great Hall, as everyone was eating breakfast, and unbeknownst to Harry and Ronald both, at least to Ron was that his amount of food was monitored by the elves in the kitchen and laced with the Diabetes potion aswell the other potions that he was in need of, not he knew of course, as he would never ever learn how to prick his finger to check, but the amount of food was limited to 2 plates per meal for him. Aswell 2 glasses of Pumpkin Juice.
Hermione sat by Lavender and Parvati aswell Fay and few other girls nearby, but she was protected for she knew that Ronald and Harry would do something really stupid and get in a huge trouble in few hours for sure, she had a feeling of it at least. So when she looked up with the girls' for the Owls hooted and flew in, she smiled for her parents' had written to her a new letter and she was missing them alot too.
So she took the letter and gave the owl some of her food to eat, which made the owl very happy indeed, meanwhile neither Ron or Harry got one, but Ron's siblings got a letter from their father, which told them that their mother had been forcifully taken to St Mungos as she was too obsessed to have Harry Potter in their family, like marrying their only daugther and sister of to him, but she was not to succede, neither of them were, and to warn Ronald again of his abhorrant behaviour and study on his own in his own hand-writing. And then he also praised Fred, George and Percy to take iniative to check themselves over and get a clean bill of health, as Arthur also told them that Bill and Charlie aswell himself had check themselved over too, like Aunt Muriel and few other peoples in their family.
He also told them that their mother were going to be subjected to alot of those tests to see what the hell was going on with her, and the boys were taken back by what their father had said, but also happy to hear that their eldest were clear of Diabetes as they now knew it was could be inheritaged somewhere in their family. But where they didn't know yet, but soon find out for sure.
Hermione read her letter with happy smile, as both of them were so proud of her to stand up and do what was right over wrong in other people and to be safe aswell that they love her so much and misses her too. Lavender and Parvati saw the smile and smiled too, as they knew Hermione had struggles with being here in this new world, but their help as her friends had helped alot with those first few weeks here.
She wrote a letter quickly back to her parents, thanking them for being her parents, and she misses them too, and would see them again at Christmas break, and ended it with writing "With Love Hermione", the same owl came down to her snuck some of her bacon and took the letter and flew off. Hermione just smiled after it while it flew away.
Lavender said
"Feeling abit better now, Mione?" Hermione grinned and said
"Yes, thank you for letting me borrow your owl, Lav. She is absolutely beautiful one."
Lavender just grinned, and she too like Parvati wrote their own letters home to their parents, and Parvati's twin, Padma came over with hers to give her sister, who grinned and took it from her sister. Padma also greeted Hermione with happiness, that Hermione returned.
Ron and Harry both frowned to see that Hermione did have friends and they seemed to like her nomatter what a swot and nightmare she truly was, and Ron was fuming from last night of her confession of being the one to report him for his abhorrant manners and behaviours.
He was going to get her back for doing it, she was going to be hurt badly for sure. Harry was just following Ron like a loyal dog without questioning him about any of it, as all he wanted to have was his own friends, that Dudley wasn't going to take away from him.
Either way, the bell rang for their first class of the day, and that was Herbology, so all of them stood up and went off to their first lesson, Ronald was fuming behind her, and had his wand out, but before he could do anything, Percy had seen him doing so, and went over and took his wand away and told him in very strict voice;
"She did the right thing to report you, Ronald, for you do have horrible manners that needs to be corrected and your bullying of that girl ends NOW; and Potter stop following him around like that aswell, Ronald knows that if he steps one more toe out of the line that our father put on him, he was to be sent to our Great-Aunt Muriel for private session on both school and manners. And no way out of it, as Mother was also taken to St Mungos as she too needs help like yourself and our sister, do not be stupid now, Ronald."
And with that he turned with Ronald's wand, and Ronald was very red like Harry though his was of embarrassment, Ronald was all anger on his. He would show that girl one way or another, she was to pay dearly. Meanwhile, Percy had told his head of house what is going and why he had taken his little brother's wand from, and while Minerva was appalled, she agreed and took the wand from him for the day aswell.
Percy then left for his Potions lessons.
Minerva told Pomona and the other teachers to keep a very close eye on the said boy like she would later aswell and they all agreed. Severus was most happy to look out for said girl, for she had given alot of respectful sayings to him in private and told him that he could torment those who deserve it, but she was there to prove herself, and that made him rather proud of her, and was leaving her alone in their lessons together with the others.
Later that day, Ronald went forward to his brother, Percy, and said
"Can I get my wand back?" Percy turned from talking with his girlfriend;
"No, for I have given it to our Head of House, Ronald, and she will both decide on when or if you get it back. Now I am talking to Penny, so leave us."
Ronald snarled and glared at his turned back, and went over to his head of house, and said rather rudely
"Can I have my wand back now?" Minerva stopped her talk with Albus who too could hear the rudeness in his tone, that was also filled of anger, he said instead of Minerva;
"First of all, she was talking to me, Mr Weasley, and no you will not have it back today, as you will not retaliate at said girl that did a brave thing to report you on your behaviours and manners, the bullying and your horrid manner at table aswell you are to do your OWN homework in your OWN handwriting begins today, Mr Weasley. Only then you might get it back, but you will be watched very closely."
He gapped and before he said or did a rude gesture, he was pulled back by the twins, who had a struggle with him, as he tried to yell at them to let him go, as he was a pureblood and she was just an ugly muggleborn girl who has no friends, and that made the twins' stop and turn him around and looked straight into his eyes, while they both said in very hard, cold tone to their little brother;
"Watch your tone, Ronald, and if you opened your damn eyes, you would see that Hermione has more friends than yourself ever will have as she is at least more relatable than you ever will be, for none like bullies. Not even us will. NOW leave her alone and grow up for Merlin's sake, you are not a toddler with a temper tantrum nor spoilt brat either. Not everything will be served to you as you wishes for, Ronald."
And with that they took off and left their brother very red of embarrassment and anger, for even they seemed to like that girl more himself and Harry. Harry just stood there with shock and hurt on his face, as he didn't know that others felt that about him either.
Ronald did something so stupid, he growled and before anyone even Hermione could react, he was over her and punching her, and she screamed for him to stop, and it took 3 of their teachers to pull him off her, and when they did, they could see she had bruises all over, a swollen eye and bleeding nose and mouth, Albus said in his most angry voice;
"RONALD WEASLEY! You will come with me now!"
And with that he took hold of Ronald with Minerva, Severus and another male teacher and they together took the said angry and struggling Ronald to his office, and as soon they were there, he called on Arthur, who came through straight away, didn't even looked at his son, instead he said
"What happened?" Albus sighed then told him that Ronald had unprovokally attacked Hermione Granger, a muggleborn witch who had reported him to themselves yesterday for she felt ill and disgusted by his son's abhorrant manners around the table when they eat and his bullying of others including of herself, and Arthur was very red, and yelled
"RONALD BILIUS WEASLEY, I AM SO DISAPPOINTED, HOW DARE YOU ATTACK THAT GIRL FOR WHAT WE ALL NOW KNOW WAS THE FUCKING TRUTH OF YOURSELF, WELL YOU ARE GOING WITH ME, AS YOU ARE TO BE WITH AUNT MURIEL FOR FEW YEARS, FOR THIS WAS THE LAST DRAW IN YOUR SHITTYNESS. THIS IS NOT HOW I AND YOUR MOTHER RAISED YOU TO BE, A BULLY AND ILLMANNERED BOY, NOR TO HIT GIRLS! YOU STUPID BOY!"
And with that he dragged Ronald by his ear, as he yelled for his dad to stop and leave him be here, but no he was not to listen on said boy, and after throwing floo powder in the fireplace, he yelled out for Prewett Manor, and pushed him in with himself, and soon after leaving him in his aunt's care, he came back and asked how the said girl was doing and that she was allowed to report him for abuse and stupidity really.
He was then told that Hermione was black and blue, teeth missing and broken nose, which made Arthur even more pissed at his son, as Ronald was then expelled but was given a new chance next year when of if his sister was to come too, but he was going to be monitered very closely even then. Arthur agreed to it all as Ginny was to be monitered aswell next year.
