"So, is this goodbye?" Inari said, wiping his tears.

"Yeah but don't worry. I promise that we'll see you again." Naruto said, patting the boy's head. Mito, Haku and Tsunade standing behind him with a warm smile. Team 7 doesn't really care.

"Right, I'll see you again nii-san." Naruto nodded as the group left back home. Haku walked next to Naruto with a small smile on her lips.

"You're a kind spirit, Naruto-kun." Haku said.

"Really? Thanks." Naruto responded.

"So what's going to happen to me?" Haku asked Tsunade.

Tsunade smiled. "Well…"

"I approve." the hokage said. "Haku Yuki, you are now part of team Senju. I hope you accomplish great things in the future."

"Thank you, Hokage-sama." Haku responded. She turned to her new team and smiled

"Well good work team 7 and team Senju. You have a week break from missions. And Haku, welcome to the village." Hiruzen said, Team 7 left but team 7 stayed. "Anything else you need?"

"Yes, I would like to invoke the C.R.A on Naruto-kun." Tsunade said, shocking the group.

"W-what? Why would you do that?" Naruto asked, while blushing.

"Because I know how the council thinks and I have a feeling that once they find out about my team bloodline, they'll try to pair them with the Uchiha." Tsunade said, making Hiruzen nodded.

"But does this have to do with Naruto-kun?" Hiruzen asked.

"Please, both of these girls have a crush on Naru-kun. I noticed and if they are involved with someone in the C.R.A, the council can't do shit." Tsunade said.

"Wait, sensei. Don't just assume the girls want to marry me. You need their consent."

"I don't mind, Naruto-kun." Mito said.

"Me either, you saved me and you have a gentle soul. I would be honored." Haku said. Naruto just stared at the two and his face turned red. Haku looked down in sadness and pretended like she was going to cry. "Are we not good enough, Naruto-kun?"

"We really like you." Mito added, acting sad.

"What, you are too good. You two are beautiful and very strong. Any guy would be lucky to go out with girls like you." Naruto said, instinctively. The two girls blushed and steam came out their heads.

Tsunade smirked at this. "See, what did I tell you? It'll also protect the girls, Naru-chan."

"She's right, Naruto-kun. The council will try to force a marriage on the girls." Hiruzen said. "Now is there anyone else you would like to add?"

"Umm…" Naruto started with a blush. "Is Shizune-chan available? I know she's 7 years older than me but she's really nice to me and I always feel calm around her."

Hiruzen and Tsunade looked at each other before chuckling. "I see, well Shizune never found any guy she was interested in but I always saw her happy around you. She might be interested." Tsunade said.

"Great, you four are dismissed and have a week break." Tsunade and her students bowed before leaving the office.

"How about we go get something to eat? My treat." Naruto offered.

"Ahh, Naru-chan is being a gentleman. how kind of you." Tsunade complimented.

"Well, if I'm going to be their husband, I should make sure my wives are happy, right?" Naruto commented, making Mito and Haku blush.

"How about some BBQ this time? Last time we got interrupted by the others." Mito suggested.

"I'm not sure, Sasuke and Sakura might make a fuss if they're there." Naruto said.

"Don't worry, Naruto-kun. We're here with you." Haku said.

"And if they try something with me around." Tsunade stomped the ground. Creating a crater. "Well, let's say it won't be easy for you." Naruto chuckled nervously and they entered the restaurant and to Mito's and Naruto's dismay, team 10 and team 8 were there.

"Hey Hinata, Shino-san and Choji-san." Mito called, as her team sat down.

Hinata looked to see who called her name and she smiled when she saw Mito and her crush. "Good even Mito-san."

"What are you guys doing here?" Kiba asked.

"What everyone else does here, we're eating." Naruto answered.

"Well you're not wanted here, after last time." Kiba said.

"Really? I could have sworn that you were the one who made fun of Naruto-kun, you arrogant asshole." Mito said, earning a glare from Kiba.

"Watch how you talk to people, young lady." Kurenai chaste.

"And you better watch how you talk to my daughter, Yuhi-san." Tsunade said, gaining everyone's attention.

"Tsunade-sama? Wait, did you say your daughter?" Asuma said, sweating.

"Yes and I remember everything she told me from your last encounter and I have to say you all are not on my good people list except Hinata-san, Choji-san and Shino-san. Really? Picking on Naruto because of his status. You two bring shame to my grandfather and the Uzumaki clan." Tsunade spat.

"Who are you to talk about our sensei's like that?" Kiba asked.

"And you call Naruto a deadlast. I'm one of the three Sannin and a kage lever kunoichi trained by the old man." Tsunade answered, making Kiba pale. "And just to let you know, Naruto is my distant cousin and you insulting him, insults me." Tsunade said in anger.

"Calm down, Tsunade-sama. We were just making sure Naruto acts mature." Kurenai tried to explain.

"And you call the boy here mature? He makes fun of Naruto every chance he gets and I heard how he hit on my daughter. In fact, he's been staring at Haku's and Mito's chest this whole time." Tsunade said, making Kiba blush in embarrassment. "You guys look at things as if they were a blank sheet of paper. How much do you actually know about Naruto, besides what the people around you tell you? Nothing, you just judge by appearance and to think the two of you are jonin."

"We know he's not ready to be a genin, and he's brash." Asuma said. "Right Kurenai?"

Kurenai looked down in shame and remembered what Anko and Hinata said about the blonde. To be honest, she didn't know anything about him at all. She needed to move from her fathers death. "You're right, I was quick to judge." Kurenai said, surprising everyone but mostly Naruto. Hinata smiled at this. Kurenai looks at Naruto and drags him outside of the restaurant to speak with him alone. "Naruto, I would like to take you out tonight."

Naruto blushes but turns neutral. "Why? What's your game?"

"I figure I can get to know you more. If I want to move on, I figure hanging out together with just the two of us will do some good. I'll even pay. Tsunade-sama, Anko and Hinata see something in you and I want to let go of my grudge." Kurenai said, sincerely.

Naruto's eyes widened and smile. "Really, well sure. We can hangout and I'll let you pick out the place."

Kurenai gave a small smile. "Thank you, I'll guess I'll see you later." she said walking away. Tsunade and his team walked out and saw Naruto in a daze.

"Naruto, what happened?" Tsunade asked.

Naruto turned to Tsunade and gave a nervous smile. "I think I got a date." The three females' jaws dropped when they heard this.

"Why are you doing this?" Asuma asked.

"I need to move past this, I can't let what I want to believe dictate what is true." Kurenai said.

"But you're going on a date with genin." Asuma said with irritation.

"Why are you mad about this? We broke up anyway, plus this is now a romantic date. I just want to find out who is Naruto Uzumaki and see if he's the person Anko and Hinata say he is." Kurenai said, preparing to walk out the door. "Naruto should be here."

"Won't you give me another chance?" Asuma ask

"No, you cheated on me and tried to use your fathers status to say it was in your right. I forgave you but I won't go back out with you." Kurenai said as she left the door. Asuma just stood there, looking down in shame.

"Huh, I really messed up." Asuma said.

Naruto and Kurenai were sitting on the hokage head, Naruto's favorite spot, looking over the village at Night. Naruto made a simple picnic which surprised and oddly satisfied Kurenai, especially since she offered to pay. Whenever she went on a date, guys always tried to treat her to a fancy restaurant to impress her. She actually appreciated this. "This was a lovely date, Naruto-kun."

"Thanks, I wanted to keep things simple." Naruto responded as they stared over the village. "Got anything to ask?"

A couple questions if you don't mind." Kurenai said, earning a nod from Naruto.

"The floor is yours." Naruto said.

"First, why do you want to be hokage? With how the village sees you, I thought you would hate this place." Kurenai said.

"It's easy to hate but it's hard to forgive. I am not going to justify the village action towards me but I will try to understand their point of view. A huge fox just attacked the village, then you're told a small boy holds it. It's hard to ignore, don't you think?" Naruto said, chuckling. "At first I wanted to be hokage for recognition but now I want to show the village that I will go far to protect the village, even with me being a jinchuuriki. I'll take on their pain and fear and shoulder it if that's what it takes because I never back down."

Kurenai just stared at the blonde and couldn't help but smile. "I see what the girls see in you. The Hokages always speak of the Will of Fire and I think I see it in you. Naruto-kun, you proved me wrong and I'm happy you did. You are not the kyuubi and not influenced by it. I'll help you and support you every step of the way." Kurenai said. And pecked the blonde on the cheek.

Naruto blushed and gave her his foxy smile. "Thank you, Kurenai-sensei."

"Don't call me sensei while we are on a date." Kurenai chastled

"Kurenai…hime?" Naruto said. Naruto reached into his pocket and pulled out a crystal rose "here, I got you something."

Kurenai blushed. "You know how to make a woman feel special." Kurenai teased as the two finished their meal. Kurenai didn't want to admit it but Naruto was worming his way into her heart.

A week later

"Alright you three, I know you three are on break from your mission but we're still going to train. In a month, the Chunin Exam will begin and I will nominate you three. For your training, I want you three to expand on your bloodlines and come up with a combination between you three and also for you, Naruto-kun. I want you to create an A-rank jutsu for your bloodline like Haku and Mito-chan."

"Huh, Mito-chan? You have an A-rank Wood jutsu?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, it's from Hashirama-jij. I didn't create it." Mito said. Naruto nodded and frowned.

'Lets see, Haku-chan creates mirrors she goes in. I have no clue what Mito-chan is. Let's see, crystals are hard to destroy and they reflect images. You can shape them to almost anything and they can trap…wait, I got it.' Naruto thought before smiling.

"You came up with something?" Tsunade asked.

"Yeah and it's going to require a lot of chakra. To be honest, I might have to use the kyuubi's chakra if he allows it." Naruto said.

Tsunade cocked an eyebrow. "What's the idea?" Naruto approached his sensei and whispered in her ear, making her smile

"That's actually a good idea, in fact there's a genjutsu I can teach you to help improve that jutsu idea." Tsunade said. Naruto nodded.

"What's the idea?" Haku asked, with Mito nodding.

"It's a surprise." Naruto said, making the girls pout. Naruto just chuckled at their faces.

"You're making up to us later." Mito said, with Haku nodding in agreement. "We're going shopping." Naruto blinked before dashing away with the two kunoichi's chasing after him.

"Now I called you here to discuss the Chunin exams. You are welcome to nominate your teams, so speak up." Hiruzen said, smoking his pipe.

"I, Kakashi Hatake, nominate team 7 Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha and Sai." Kakashi said.

"I, Kurenai Yuhi, nominate team 8 Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka." Kurenai said.

"I, Asuma Sarutobi, nominate team 10 Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka, and Choji Akamichi." Asuma said.

"I, the youthful Might Guy, Nominate Team Guy Rock Lee, Tenten Higurashi and Neji Hyuga." Guy said, giving his thumbs up.

"I, Tsunade Senju, nominates team Naruto, consisting of Mito Senju, Haku Yuki and Naruto Uzumaki." Tsunade said, folding her arms.

"Hold up, none of the new genins already and I should know. I taught them." Iruka protested.

"While I disagree with you, I do believe Naruto should wait." Kakashi said.

"Really?" Tsunade said, gaining everyone's attention. "Should I remind you of who completed your mission, how I taught my students both chakra control exercises before you taught your team one and how your team has horrible teamwork. Right now, Naruto is on elemental manipulation. What is Sakura on since she's your weakest student?" Tsunade questioned, making Kakashi gulp.

"I agree with Tsunade-sama, after getting to Naruto-kun. He showed a fair amount of intelligence and I believe with the support of his team, he can make chunin." Kurenai said, shocking Kakashi and a seething Asuma.

"Well I'm not sure, he was the dead last of his class." Asuma said.

"That's because his instructor was arrogant and couldn't ignore the fox in him. Iruka even ignored him for a while. I guarantee that there's no genin that can beat him unless he faces a jinchuuriki." Tsunade said before grabbing the forms and turning around. "I'll take my leave."

Asuma turned to Kurenai, giving her a confused look. "Kurenai, what's going on with you?"

"I grew up, Asuma!" Kurenai replied. "I got to know Naruto-kun and I'm not ashamed to admit I was wrong about wrong." Kurenai said before leaving.

Tsunade was standing between her students with a smirk, so she decided to get some last minute training. Naruto looked at Mito and Haku, nodding at them. Haku charged Tsunade, creating Kunai made of Ice and swiping at Tsunade. "Impressive, your speed in your creation increased. Also, charging in first was smart since you're the fastest." Tsunade said as she dodged Haku's attacks before jumping in the air, dodge some wood tentacles. "Nice try Daughter of mine, sneak attacks are effective if your opponent is distracted enough. And Naruto-kun,..." Tsunade said as she turned around and saw three Naruto's diving at her. One of them tried to kick her but she grabbed his leg and slammed him in the other. To her surprise, all of them poofed away. "They were all clones?" Tsunade landed on the ground, searching for her male student.

"Head-hunter jutsu!" Tsunade felt something grab her legs, and pulled her underground with her head sticking out. Tsunade felt chakra building up and turned to her other students. She saw Haku doing a bird seal and Mito doing a tiger seal.

'They're combining a wind and a fire jutsu. Not bad at all.' Tsunade thought before jumping out the hole and forming an earth wall around her, protecting her from their attacks. Naruto jumped out the hole and landed next to Mito. "Good job you three, It seems I made the right choice when I nominated you three for the exam."

"Thanks sensei." The three responded with a bow.

"Now then, there's a few things I want you to do when you enter the Chunin exam." Tsunade said before giving Naruto a list. "Can you do this?"

Naruto looked at the list and smirked. "Oh yeah, it might take awhile but it shouldn't be too hard. But why do you want us to do this?"

"It'll retain the element of surprise and with the seals you're going to make, it'll make it even better." Tsunade said with a smirk. "Now you three head out and relax, I'm going to the bar with Shizune."

"Don't get too drunk, kaa-chan." Mito scolded.

"You're only saying that because you haven't drunk yet." Tsunade said before walking away.

"How about we do some last minute supply shopping and get something to eat." Mito suggested.

"Yeah, what do you girls want-" Naruto paused when he saw Konohamaru running from the Sakura. "What did the brat do now?"

"Who was that, Naruto-sama?" Haku asked.

"That was my self-proclaimed student. As to why Sakura is chasing him, I assume he was looking for me and she insulted me, resulting in him insulting her." Naruto answered. "Let's go stop them. Mito laughed and Haku chuckled as they chased after Konohamaru. They jumped on the roof as they followed the pinkette.

Haku's eyes widened and she halted her step. "Naruto-sama, Mito-san. I sense the Uchiha in the tree alongside a large amount of chakra." Haku said as they landed on a roof and saw Konohamaru being held by a sand-nin.

"I also sense three presence in the tree in the distance." Naruto said.

"So what's the plan?" Mito asked.

"Hmm, I'll confront the sand shinobi in the front, Mito-chan can embarrass the Uchiha and Haku can say hello to the three extras." Naruto suggested. The girls nodded and they all disappeared from the roof. "Hey cat…thingy? Put the boy down or else." Everyone turned to see Naruto standing in front of Sakura with his hand in his pocket. Moegi had hearts in her eyes when she spotted Naruto.

'Oh, look at this hottie.' Temari thought as she licked her lips at the blonde.

"Great another pest." Kankuro said and smirked at the blonde. "Why don't you make me, brat."

Naruto smirked. "Fine, have it your way." Kankuro was waiting until he felt someone grab his arm and pinned him to the ground. He looked over his shoulder and was shocked to see Naruto holding his arm with his foot on his back."There's two of you."

"A clone. Impressive, the speed of the jutsu is something." Temari said, chuckling at Kankuro position.

"You know I saved you." Naruto said, confusing the puppet user. "That boy you were trying to embarrass is the grandson of the hokage."

Temari gasped before glaring at her brother. "Damn it, Kankuro. You almost got us in trouble because of an accident."

"At least she understands." Naruto said as his clone disappeared.

Sasuke was on a tree branch, gritting his teeth in jealousy. 'How is this loser so strong?'

"Wow, I can feel your jealousy. It's too bad you'll never be as good as him." Sasuke's eyes widened and looked up, seeing Mito standing upside down on a branch above him.

"When did you get here?" Sasuke asked.

"You need to pay attention, I'm not the only one here." Mito said as her eyes looked under Sasuke. Sasuke followed and saw a red head standing upside down.

Sasuke jumped out of the tree and stared at the redhead. 'I couldn't even sense him.'

Sand formed around the redhead and he reappeared next to his team, glaring at Kankuro. "Kankuro, did you forget why we are here?"

"G-gaara I-"

"Enough, step out a line again and I'll end you." Gaara said before turning to sand and reforming next to Kankuro. "I'm sorry for my teammate's action."

Naruto smiled and waved it off. "It's fine."

Mito appeared next to her fellow blonde and folded her arms. "I'm guessing you three are here for the chunin exams?"

"That's right?" Gaara answered and looked at the two blondes. "Are you two entering as well?"

"Yes and so is our other teammate." Naruto said, looking past the sand trio. Temari looked behind her and saw three sound shinobi jumped out of a tree and haku followed suit.

"How did this bitch get behind us?" Zaku asked.

"HEY!' The three turned to Naruto, who had red slit eyes. "I would watch who you insult or you'll end up in the ground." The blonde said, raising his ki. Haku blushed before disappearing, then reappearing next to her teammates.

Gaara smirked at Naruto. "Yes, you are interesting."

Temari smirked at Naruto. 'He's strong alright, if he survives Gaara. Maybe I can get to know him more.'

"I see, you are a jinchuuriki." Naruto said, shocking the sand trio and sound trio. "That doesn't matter, if we fight. You are losing."

Gaara just smiled. "I'll see you in the exams." Gaara turned around and walked away.

"I'll see you later, Naruto-kun." Temari said with a wink. The sand trio walked past the sound team without a gaze.

"You three…" Mito called out to the sound shinobi. "I understand you want to learn more about your opponents but next time, don't get caught."

"So you knew we were there?" Dosu asked, turning around.

"We all did. Naruto-kun was the first to detect you." Haku answered. The three turned to Naruto.

"We look forward to the exams but if you face us, you'll die." Dosu said as he and Zaku turned around to leave. Kin just stared at the blonde boy before turning around.

'He's kinda hot.' Kin thought as she left. Naruto turned to Konohamaru.

"How are you?" Naruto asked his student.

"I'm great, thanks boss." Konohamaru responded. Moegi just stared at the three with admiration and Udon just stared at the blonde.

"You three should go, we have to prepare for the exam." Naruto instructed.

"Right, see ya boss." Konohamaru said as the three academy students left.

Mito smirked at the kids before frowning at team 7. "Now then, I hope you two are not entering the exams." Mito commented.

"Why is that?" Sasuke asked, glaring at the Senju heir.

"From what I witness, you are not ready. You'll just embarrass the village further." Haku said. "You are quick to anger, Haruno is weaker than an academy student and Sai is doing things and doesn't trust you. You don't act like a team."

"But if you do enter, prepare to lose." Naruto said as the tree disappeared in a sub element shushin.

Sasuke just glared at the spot they were standing at before turning around, walking back to his house. He was going to show the world we it was meant to go up against him and put Naruto in his place.
