Over in the Demon Kingdom, Raven was in her bedroom preparing to go to bed after having dealt with the emergency.

"Why do Goblins have to be so territorial?" asked Raven.

"At least I was able to settle the argument and even got them to agree to joint ownership of a mile around the connected tunnel so they shouldn't go to war at anytime soon," she said.

"Raven, a messenger owl just arrived," said Cerise as she knocked on the door.

"Who could it be from at this hour?" asked Raven while using magic to open the door and letting Cerise into the room.

"Princess Apple White," said Cerise as she handed over the letter.

"Hm, looks like she liked the demon apple I left for them to test," said Raven who had sat down on the edge of her bed to read it.

"She wants to talk about opening trade for them," she said.

"Hmph, like there is anything we would want from those humans," said Cerise.

"The apples are growing well but I need more seeds to grow other crops as we can't just survive off them alone, so trading with the Human Kingdom will help us at this point," said Raven.

"Point taken," grumbled Cerise.

"Also you're half human so why do you hate them so much?" asked Raven.

"My mom gave up her life in the Human Kingdom to live with my dad here in your kingdom," said Cerise.

"She and the others who came here to join us are demons as far as I'm concerned because they turned against the other kingdom," she said while crossing her arms before her.

"By that logic you should count Apple as one," said Raven while waving the letter.

"After all, she's trying to find a peaceful way to help both kingdoms just like the others had," she said before getting up and moving over to her desk to write a quick reply to the princess.

"Another point taken, and I really hate it when you do this," said Cerise with a sigh.

"Then you can always resign from being my head knight," said Raven.

"Hex no, it's too fun being around you to do something like that," said Cerise as she smiled and left the room.
