Later at the bakery, everyone was sitting around a large table except for Hunter and his girlfriend.

"This cake is amazing, how is it so moist?" asked Apple.

"I'm sure if you asked Ginger she would tell you," said Raven with a smile.

"Hey girls, I hope we didn't keep you waiting," said Hunter as he approached the table with his girlfriend.

"Ashlynn?!" asked Apple and Briar once they had turned around and noticed the girl standing next to the kight.

"Apple, Briar, what are you two doing here?!" asked a surprised Ashlynn.

"I'm here trying to make better relations with the Demon Kingdom," said Apple.

"And I'm keeping an eye on her," said Briar.

"Hang on, how do the three of you know each other?" asked Cerise while looking back and forth between them.

"I was the daughter of a noble family in the Human Kingdom," said Ashlynn.

"But I gave it up to move here and be with Hunter," she said while smiling at him and grabbing his hand.

"I haven't talked to anyone from my family or even my old friends since because I didn't know what they would think about my choice," she said.

"Understandable," said Faybelle.

"And how did you two meet?" asked Briar.

"Her territory was on the border and I was out checking for poachers one day," said Hunter as he and Ashlynn sat down.

"Instead, he found me being attacked by a demon beast as I had gone to the lake to paint after having a fight with my mother," said Ashlynn.

"Wow, sounds like we need to sit down and talk so you can feel us in on how things have been since you left then," said Apple.

"As long as it's not Faeday, I have a date that evening," said Briar.

"That was fast!" said Apple and Raven while looking at Briar and Faybelle who instantly started to blush.

"What can I say, I strike when the iron is hot," said Faybelle, getting a laugh out of everyone.
