Chapter 32:Family Meet Up
November 5th secluded location
In a secluded location of the world right now far off from anyone else nothing was stirring awake at first all except for one person was talking to a certain witch boy over a phone right now as klarion growled in utter annoyance
"Why do i have to keep her in the kid world shes an adult and shes annoying"klarion said eyeing down someone that beig rose wilson twirling a knife in her hand smirking at him as someone spoke up
"You owe me klarion for that deal besides i need to test that little girl of mine and see if shes worth the effort of training her. Besides she could be useful to us in the end as a mole"slade said as their was pause as he scoffed snapping his finger producing an amulet out of thin air tossing to rose who nodded
"Produce six more for my guys and were in business have fun with dealing with the kiddies lets see if i can drag my baby sis to us"rose said grinning to herself on the possible fight coming ahead for the earth.
Mount justice november 5th 7:47 pm
Inside the hangerbay at the very moment right now busy for the day where the teens doing one thing for the day unloading their groceries as all of them seemed to be in the middle of unloading some stuff from the bioship with m'gann, connar, kaldur, wally, deliah, m'comm helping them as m'comm got something from the human world a box of gummy candy as he studied it
"You humans say this is…a treat on your world"m'comm asked as wally ate some of his own
"Yeah try it martian man"wally joked as the martian did eating some swishing them around in his mouth as his eyes light up slightly as he could taste something sweet right now
"This is good i need more"m'comm said as laughing was deliah
"Its called candy uh do martians body become addicted to candy or something"deliah asked her girlfriend who eyed her humming using her powers to unload a few groceries and bags off the ship
"Maybe….maybe some ice cream with carmel filling"m'gann hinting at something as walking into the room was zatanna and artemis right now who have bounded in the last week since the halloween adventure they went on the two went into depth on the whole thing how they fought and conquered some guy named harm or whatever
"Glad your back right now zantana. Does this mean your officially joining the team"she asked

"No clue my dad zatara is so overprotective i mean letting me just visit takes a full day of wheelding. I wish he just gave me some space"zatana said but as she did suddenly something happened before their eyes the three leaguers suddenly disappeared from thin air to all their shock as they dropped the entire group dropped everything in hand at that moment to their shock
"Dad!"zatana cried right now stunned startling all of them at that moment as running over shocked was jinny who watched everything happened.
"What just happened?"jinny asked
"I…i don;t know…i don't know"deliah replied in shock wondering what just happened right now here

Though the metro area the traffic moved like usually in the day with some car honking their horns with some kids playing on the nearby sidewalk right now. Along with that as they where a women warns some of them but in a specific little apartment building was sitting a kid in a red sweatshirt with black hair and blue eyes as also in the place out of costume was nico who was sporting black jeans with a sleevless purple hoodie showing off his toned arms as he was with another man who was named dudley the uncle of the boy
While a recent news report was playing out"in today news in fawcett city it seems that captain marvel defeated an attack by the creatures known as ibac and sabbac"the news women said as laughing was nico patting the kid on the back
"Hey good on you kid you did some good again today"nico said
"Gee you think"the boy asked
"Of course you did kiddio your a good kid besides nico here is the one looking out for you incase you get into trouble"dudley said
"More like finds himself in trouble sometimes"nico joked as billy smiled but suddenl something happened his eyes went wide as the two adults just disappeared out of thin air like nothing to his shock as he was ready to say the words
"Don't know who is behind this but i know who can help shaz…wait…what"billy paused seeing the news anchor gone before hearing something crash outside startling him as he rushed to the window seeing a car crashed into the street pole along with their being the two kids on the ground that where playing looking confused right now as it puzzled him what was going on right now
"All the grown ups are gown and that means caps a grown up if i change i'll disappear too!"he shouted in shock right now what was happening as he needed to find the others fast right now and help them out
Meanwhile back inside of the cave right now at that moment the entire cave was dark with the screen giving light to the training deck as robin was working with what they got right now as on his comm link was wally
"We got a refugee center at the high school gym were setting things up their"wally said
"Good keep on it the best you can"Robin said as close by on the back burner was deliah with the other new members of the team right now as busy was zantana going through anything and everything right now
"Anything yet kid"red-x asked worried it seems right now as robin sighed
"Nothing yet no use reaching the batcave, hall of justice of the watch or any adult hero. Not even red arrow…shocker your here which means"robin paused as they all eyed the thief guessing something about him
"Hey your just like us"jinny joked as he grumbled at that worried about something which m'comm could sense as he can't read his mind but he could tell he was worried about something
"You worried about something"m'comm asked as the thief paused for a moment but zanata sighed
"Talk about it in a few we got a problem all traditional media is down but all the kids worldwide are posting the same thing all adults eighten or older is gone. The sorcery necessary to pull this off worldwide is well…lets just say big…scar big"zatana said
"And you need to find its source"robin said as this made the girl flinch as she was no where on the same level as her father
"Theirs no way i can do it…how can i–"she was stopped
"Pulled this footage from the day we were sent after the injustice league"Robin said rewinding the footage to show them what he pulled
"Its your dad helping us with that uh locator spell right"jinny asked
"Right but i only know parts of it…the rest takes training alot of it"zatana said but robin placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her nerves
"You can do this i know this is hard but staying calm is our best bet. Besides we find your dad and batman they'll know what to do"robin said making her smile slightly but red-x seemed antsy
"What about kids in hospitals if their are no adults watching them they could be…well…"Red-x seemed worried but eyeing the zeta tube was robin who quickly typed something on the computer infront of him as he did suddenly it turned on as he eyed him
"You three go help him bring in jinx and piper the cave has necessary medical equipment that we can use to stablize her."robin said making the thief gently nod to him as the four rushed through the zeta tube
Star labs november 5th
As they got through the zeta portal immediately they got through on the other side with m'comm shocked by the technology humans possess as he admired the lab as jinny eyed him laughing
"Aint your cup of tea i take it martian boy"jinny asked
"Not exactly the labs back home are far more impressive than this"m'comm said as scoffing was red-x searching frantically for something which the martian picked up on eyeing the two as sighing was deliah
"He cares about this little girl here that pretty sick…shes been sent here to be a leading patient and test subject in some new line of medicine in a way"deliah mentioned
"And you put a child through that…experimentating on them"m'comm asked as the two cleared it up
"No were just trying to get her better from whatever made her sick. Besides…aren't you worried about your own sisters"jinny asked as deliah crossed her arms for a brief moment looking down thinking about those two wondering about them hoping that their okay as she hugged herself
"I…i don't know maybe their fine babs can find them…she knows where i live anyway"deliah replied with a hint of worry in her tone which m'comm could sense
"Your lying your worried for them maybe after here you could check on them in gotham. I'm sure my sister and your other teammates can handle things here for a bit. I hear gotham is big in the crime department"m'comm said attempting a joke it seems but then the loud sound of crashing was heard as a loud scream was heard
This caught them offguard as they ran forward to the source as they did being thrown into a wall was red-x groaning as the culprit was a shocking surprise that being rose who had both her swords out dragging them as she stared down jinx shielding piper in her arms as the teen panicked
"Go away you dam psycho! How are you even here?! The adults disppeared…why are you here?"jinx asked as rosa laughed at her
"I'm pretty special besides your gonna die for that stunt you pulled in belle reve"rose said lifting her swords to attack her but growling was deliah aiming her hands firing off a bolt of hazy energy hitting rose making her stumble as she looked back with a surprised look to see them here as helping red-x up was jinny who pointed her revolvers at her
"Well lookie here its well should i ruin my little surprise or no"rose taunted with a smile as confused was jinny right now
"The hell are you on about weirdo"jinny asked but instead of answering snapping her fingers suddenly from above several strange figured claded in black sporting long katana and swords appeared measuring to about six of them to their shock on that amount right now
As red-x got up he tried to fire off more of the strange red-x he carries around but nothing came out as a beeping noise came from his suit. Glancing down he saw that it was a tube that contained some red liquid as he silently cursed as the strange people in tights got close eyeing them confused was m'comm
"What are they"he asked as laughing was rose
"Meet the league of assassin loyal members their great for dealing with pest and brats like you. "Rose said but having an idea was jinx who lifted her hands up which rose noticed making her laugh
"You can't control your powers brats your powerless here"Rose said but jinx eye glowed slightly before she delivered a powerful blast from her hands. As this happened suddenly the sprinklers began to go off confusing a few from that as rose growled going forward but due to some bad luck she tripped on a water puddle growling at her as jinx ran over carrying piper who kept coughing and coughing in pain
"I got her bolt for the zeta tube!"jinx shouted as they all did but as they did rose took off after them with her assassin as the others got to the zeta tube booting it up was m'comm who used his martian powers to throw debris at the door to block them off but rose slipped through drawing her sword growling at them before giving her threat
"Your gonna pay for this kid! Because if i can't get you then i'm going for your little sisters!"she shouted dashing forward but as she did all of them went through the zeta tube immediately going right through it disappearing but as they left rose smiled as she eyed the assassins with her nodding as they had a new location in mind
Although in one alternative timeline right now that seemed devoid of any children inside of the cave in the hall was giovanni, bruce, phillip, katherine and nico as right now freaking out was katherine taking rapid breaths as doing their best to calm her was nico
"Calm down ma'am everything will be fine we will find them"nico reassured as she growled at him
"How will it be fine?! My daughters are missing for god sakes one of them is seven years old! I…i…what if this was his plan…what if he..what if…."she paused for just a moment but placing a hand on her shoulder was uncle dudley who was brought here being a good friend of nico actually knowing this whole superhero charade
"Come on lady it'll be fine i'm worried for my nephew billy the kids a good sport but i have no clue if hes fine"dudley said as bruce eyed him under his mask as he suddenly the cave system went off
"Recognized captain marvel 1-5"it said to the man shock as he smiled before flying quickly into the mountain was marvel
"All right guys! I'm here to…your all back! Uncle dudley!"captain marvel cheered zipping over hugging him as the man laughed patting him on the back
"Good to see you kid"dudley said but the man looked confused for a brief moment
"Wait…where is…the team?"captain marvel asked angering zatara
"Haven't you heard? All the children in the world have disappeared"zatara said in anger but bruce stopped him
"Zatara stop! I think its time for you to reveal his secret revennant"batman said as the hero guessed he knew
"So you knew the entire time eh bats"nico asked as it was a common staple for him to know everything
"Captain where have you been"batman asked
"In a world without kids. Holy moly! One for adults!"he started
"And one for kids which means the world is split up into two"phillip said shocked right now as dudley felt somewhat left out as he scratched his chin
"You know i'm happy i get to see where my nephew works but uh….why is he here"dudley asked as an idea came to zatara mind
"Captain can you travel between worlds"zatara asked as he smiled
"I can SHAZAM!"he said before suddenly disappearing from their eyes to their shock. Entering the cave where the others as right now the team were helping jinx carry piper to a bed who coughed and hacked groaning in pain as sighing in relief was m'gann
"Thats one kid out from danger what happened"she asked
"We got attack by rose wilson and a bunch of ninja in tights"red-x answered confusing them
"Your joking right? I mean….everything been weird since their are only kids around i mean their should be only kids around here"wally replied not buying it but sighing was jinny
"The guy in the mask is telling the truth shes here somehow and she was acting weird"jinny said but before they could go further suddenly appearing in the hall was billy who smiled
"It worked!"billy shouted as they all eyed him
"Where did you come from? Who are you"kaldur questioned
"Quick read my mind"billy said as m'comm and m'gann shared looks before both doing it as they did m'gann looked shocked on what she just found
"Wait…hes captain marvel"she said
"And i'm speedy gonzales. Look just because he thinks hes captain ma–"he was stopped as billy knew one way to get on their side
"Gee wally do i really need to bring you nachos and pineapple juice to be on your good side"billy asked startling them that he said that as they shared some looks for a moment before they had things explained on their side. As immediately on both sides of the world things got told to them
"With the two dimensions we may not be familiar with our oppoennts. But the key to the mission is a coordinated attack at the ame time"phillip said as in the kids world kaldur spoke
"Our one hope is to merge the two dimensions naturally back into one"kaldur said but in the kid world billy stood their listening before they had a plan of attacking where the spell was being held but thinking about rose threat was deliah as they where all preparing to leave she spoke
"Wait! I…i can't go on the mission"She said confusing some of them
"Uhhh why"conner asked as she flinched for a moment
"That women she…she made a threat…she…shes going after my little sisters"she said as it startled them she didn't say that at first
"Why didn't you tell us that early?"artemis questioned in shock
"That…kid came in here and i…i don't know i…i don't know"she replied but taking the chance was kaldur
"Then we may not be at full strength. Red-x and hex go with her to gotham to check on her siblings if that women is here she might be planning something"kaldur said as they nodded with the three walking to the zeta tubes as they did jinx eyed them as she slowly walked over to the three
"I'm coming too"jinx siad
"No offense sweetheart but you can hardly control your powers"red-x reminded
"Better than nothing you need backup and the martian guy here volunteered to keep an eye on the tot that you care for"jinx said as he was right shrugging his shoulder but billy quickly said the words going to the adults world as they all looked ready to leave before katherine stared at him
"Your back captain is everything okay"she asked
"No but you gotta get to gotham like now!"captain marvel said to their confusion
"Why?"nico asked in confusion
"I don't know someone named…rose is going their to….attack your kids in their world or something"captain said startling some of them as dudley was lost
"Who"he asked but katherine covered her mouth for a moment clenching her fist before eyeing the zeta tube before eyeing batman who eyed her
"If you do this the penalty will be severe"batman warned as she scoffed as the white haze appeared around her
"I don't care you bat freak. Right now my kids are in danger…if i need to cross a line i will live with that guilt i don't ever plan on being a dam hero i just want a peaceful life besides…if im lucky jericho is their"katherine siad walking to the zeta tube with a glare in her eyes
Gotham city november 5th
As the four zetaed over to gotham they where in the streets as eyeing the place seeing it all sorts of messed up. For a city of crime kids seem to follow the law and rules of the criminals here as some of them where spray panting walls and raiding electronic stores for the new brand of phone as scoffing was jinny
"Course kids here would be like crooks no offense"jinny said
"Eh don't blame em the one chance to get the new phone in store oh a nice handbag"jinx said eyeing a clothing store but eyed her worried friend that got her out of prison
"I can buy it with real money if i ever get a job where to"jinx asked as thinking for a moment was delilah but as she did someone was close by as they laughed a little before hoping down suddenly as they saw someone their. That being a boy it seems in a set of spandex it seems as it was black with a mix blue on the hips and arms with him sporting yellow gloves on as tufts of blonde hair stuck up from his head as he wore a mask that had two white eyes their as he held a mixtape in hand like some sort of sound recorder as they eyed him
"Whos this nutbar"jinny asked as the boy reserved the tape recorder before it played
"Jericho"it said before something suddenly happened as their heads hurt for a moment before someone spoke up
"Names jericho and i'm a friend thats gonna help you"a male voice said to their confusion hearing that as they stared at the boy who waved to them figuring it out
"Your a mind reader wait…jeircho…jericho….i've never heard of that name before"deliah replied as red-x sure has
"'I've heard of him. Your the bodyguard of some rich prick who a big wig in secrutiy and friends with…."he paused eyeing wraith who nodded as they all rushed off in the streets guessing where her sisters would be. As they arrived at gotham academy her old stomping grounds as they busted through the doors the students of the school did their part by rounding up teens and kids to help keep the kids safe in their world. All of them doing their part as they where walking in carrying boxes was sean in shock
"Holy crap d….heros!"he corrected himself in time to some of the older kids shock seeing heroes here as some flocked over excited
"Oh my god i need to take a selfie with you your my favorite"one girl said taking a selfie with jinny who felt honor as some guys who looked like jocks wanted one with red-x as jinx stood their with a few eyeing her confused
"Whos this chick and whats with her skin"a girl asked making her uncomfortable but red-x spoke up for her for that stunt she pulled in saving the girl he took care of
"Her names jinx a hero with bad luck but a gold heart"Red-x said making her eye him for that as some found that interesting but it wasn't all smiles as growling walking over shoving wraith in the chest was jessica dent growling at her
"You piece of trash! You got my mother arrested!"jessica shouted as it got some attention but scoffing at her close by was someone
"Lay off them dent no one cares about your murdering mom who was nuts just like your uncle"Richie said cockinly making her growl but the queen of this school long ago lost her edge as red-x spoke up
"Right your mom and uncle you know they hired me before i joined this team of heroes. Threaten to cut a little girl throat and shoot her…your moms words by the way"red-x said patting her on the shoulder walking past her making her flinch as a few teens glared at her but as the four walked in richie eyed them closing his eyes trying to think through the link as jinny eyed him
"What are you doing"she asked as he looked around
"You know the…the thing"he said but suddenly a new one was established between them from jericho
"He a friend of yours"jericho said through the link startling richie who smiled
"Oh man another mind reader cool"richie said but he and sean walked over to something that relieved deliah her own baby sister sitting on the lap of meadow sleeping as amy was helping barbara unbox some food as they where looking over surprised was barbara
"Well seems we got heroes here and umm…"She paused eyeing amy who ran over hugging wraith who eyed others staring at her as they just assumed she saved her or whatever as the girl let go she was smart to not give her up
"What are you guys doing here"Amy asked
"Here to help out and get you and your sister out of here like now"jinny said confusing the group
"Wait why"meadow asked before the sound of the doors being kicked in was heard looking over they all flinched as busting in was rosa totting around a machine gun startling everyone as she raised it to the air firing it off scaring all the kids who began to run and help whoever to cover as the league of assassin members came in guns toting and swords at the ready
"I want the targets brought alive don't break em my father wants them alive"rose ordered as the league of assassin members ran in dashing straight for them as growling aiming her revolvers firing at them was jinny as one of them deflected the bullets back at her as one hit her in the shoulder as she hissed but as they got close she dodged rolled out of the way trying to think of a new strategy right now
While one came for red-x swinging their legs and fist at them but the thief dodged the hits like clockwork as he dodged them bringing out a combat knife slicing it at them. Before swifltly swinging and slicing it at him dodging another strike he grabbed them by the arm before squeezing hard on it dislocating it as they howled in pain kicking him off. As red-x stumbled he watched as the assassin gripped their arm before relocating it holding a knife in the opposite hand to some minor shock
Though close by right now was jinx dodging a hit from one as she got under some tables. The assassin hoped ontop of them going for the teens right now swinging and jamming their blade narrowly hitting her in the head but from the side was barbara eyeing the situation thinking what her father would do in this. Eyeing a nearby broom she rushed over breaking the head off twirling it before she ran over whacking the assassin in the leg stumbling them
With jinx coming on the other side snapping her fingers as bad luck struck moving the tables from underneath them as the assassin fell ot the ground before barbara whacked them in the face hard enough to knock them out
"Nice moves where did you learn that"jinx asked
"Alot of hobbies when your a police chief daughter self defense lessons"barbara replied but close by deliah was protecting her sisters right now as rose eyed her smiling twirling the blade in hand before placing it on the ground dragging it as she smiled
"Well well seems we get that little rematch after all"rose said but before she could walk forward jericho stepped into her view glaring at her under his mask as she looked surprised before she began to laugh seeing him here as she smiled for a moment
"Oh your here of course your here what momma send you for a quick hello"rose taunted but jericho dashed forward swinging and throwing his legs at her as she matched it with equally skilled moves. Blocking a high kick to the head as she shoved him back upward swinging her blade narrowly hitting him in the throat but as she did he jumped back as a league of assassin member pounced forward as they did something happened a haze appeared around jericho just like hers before swiftly he lifted his hand stopping the assassin dead in their tracks before they slowly had a black haze come from their eyes narrowing them before running for rose swinging their blade at her as she forgot about his powers he can control people
As the assassin swung at her a few times suddenly something began to happen right now the amulet on rose neck began to flicker which she noticed in shock.
"What the…"She muttered before separating from the fight as some of the assassins regrouped with jericho releasing the one he control who stumbled gagging puking in their mask before falling onto their face
"Gross"jinny said as suddenly the world began to shimmer for a moment as something happened suddenly appearing in the gym where the few teachers here organzing the school or searching with nearby parents as in the room was jim gordon as barbarbara noticed him smiling
"Dad!"she called out as he looked relived to see her but the adults noticed the assassins in the room freaking out
"They have a gun!"a women shriekd as the police where here measuring to about two of them who aimed their pistols at the assassin as rose smirked as they just had more problems in the way
"Well seems that dumb witch failed oh well time to die"she said but someone called her out
"Not happening"A distorted voice said as some followed the source as on a nearby balcony looking down on them perched on the side was someone dressed in a full bodysuit being pure white in color having black lining it It complimented her curves with some knee pads and elbow pads on. Along with a utility belt with her sporting a pair of knee high boots colored black. Along with having a mask that represented an oni mask colored pure white with having black eyes and teeth with horns to match. While carrying a long katana on her shoulder colored black with the assassins seeming shocked by her being here as one growled presenting a blade
"Traditor!"the assassin shouted as the women hoped down dragging her blade on the ground as under her mask her eyes glowed as deliah flinched backing up seeing who that was here
"Ummm whos that"jinx asked as rose was shocked but backed up slightly
"Nightshade out of the dead huh"rose replied but not answering was katherine who dashed forward as she swiftly jammed her katana into a assassin leg before they could see it coming before doing something gripping their throat she put pressure on their throat collapsing it as they gasped in pain. As she tossed them to the side as they slowly began to bleed startling all of them as nearby adults took the kids out of harms way
With another assassin coming from behind the women dodged it as she backed up doding each slash and swing toward them as they did she lifted her katana slashing it upwards cutting their chest up as they stumbled before she tore out their pistol from their hip firing it straight into their skull as they dropped dead.
Though as she was ready to go for rose suddenly a portal opened up behind here as she smiled with a grin
"I did my job have fun traumatizing someone"she said slipping through the portal with the other four in her group as once it was over the police aimed their weapons at nightshade who stared them down as jim stepped forward
"Weapons down now your under arrest for murder"jim said as the women stood their for a moment eyeing them before she slowly did something beginning to have a haze surrounded her colored white she disappeared from existence to their shock but as she left it left a startled wraith their wondering what she just saw
After some time the adults came in relief all around gotham taking their children in their amrs as some did phillip rushed from a nearby car embracing daphne and amy in his arms relived to see them. As he did he looked up toward deliah who stared down at him for a moment before turning away to regroup with her friends
As she did it hurt phillips heart as he noticed the bodybags here as he looked away. On a nearby rooftop watching over the entire scene was katherine looking down with a devastated look as jericho appeared by her side tapping her on the shoulder shaking his head
"You think i wanted them dead…they were gonna go for my kids…i know they where…i can tell when someone has an intended target i was their target not my kids. Slade….your a bastard and i hope you burn in hell for your sins"katherine said in anger
Mount justice november 7th
As they where looking at the their cave it was back with adults but some where told what happned on their mission with the witch boy zatara became the new doctor fate. As zantana was being moved into a new room with m'gann staring at her for a moment worried
"My room and deliahs are just next door if you need anything"m'gann said as zatana rubbed her arms
"Thanks i need some alone time okay"zantana said numbly as they understood leaving her to unpack things as they all regrouped for a moment as complimenting jinx on a job well done was batman actually
"You did good despite the situation you acted and protected innocent lives. From what i heard in star labs you've harassed your powers well which deserves a reward. "Batman said as cheering a little was conner
"So that means shes on the team"Conner asked surprising a few as laughing was wally zipping over
"Another girl which is awesome and uh well…you know zantana"wally said awkwardly on what happened to her
"She'll adjust alright but from your report you said you encountered league of assassin members and rose wilson aka ravager"green arrow asked as they paused with red-x nodding
"Yeah and some creepy chick with some powers like hers"red-x deduced already pointing at deliah who flinched to some shock as artemis felt worried for her friend as where a few of the others right now
"Wait you ran into someone matching her powers" robin asked seeming to know more
"Yeah and she pretty much killed two of those assassins in seconds does the name nightshade ring a bell"jinny aksed as some played dumb it seems
"Nope i've never met her"deliah said it seems bothered byt something as m'gann noticed that knowing the reason as batman eyed them all for a moment before respecting the girls secret
"We'll investigate further on her since she was annouced deceased years ago back on a mission for the league of assassins. Keep on your watch for her and others from that group you've peaked their interest"batman warned as they separated as they did walking into her own room sliding down against a wall slowly starting to cry was deliah who just watched her mom kill someone as she cried a little the door opened scaring her as m'gann and artemis where their comforting their friend after what just happened.
With that it seems that deliah watched her own mother turn back to a bit of her old life to protect her and her sisters from the league of assassin.
