Part 20: Sasuke's Defiance
Sasuke Uchiha wasn't known for patience, and the longer he thought about his rejection by Amara, the more his anger festered. Tsunade's dismissal of his plan didn't deter him; if anything, it only fueled his determination. Naruto had become a symbol of everything that went wrong in Sasuke's life—his failure, his rival, and now the one who held Amara's loyalty. Sasuke refused to let things end this way.
One night, under the cover of darkness, Sasuke left Konoha. He ignored the guards and suppressed his chakra, moving quickly and quietly out of the village gates. His Sharingan glinted in the moonlight as he vowed to bring Amara back—by force, if necessary.

Days of Tracking
It took Sasuke several days to locate Naruto and Amara. The two were constantly on the move, making it difficult for Sasuke to pinpoint their location. His frustration grew with every dead end, but he refused to give up. Finally, through sheer persistence and the use of his Sharingan to analyze faint traces of chakra, Sasuke tracked them to a small, peaceful village nestled in the mountains.
He watched them from a distance, hiding his presence as he observed their routine. Naruto was cautious, often scanning their surroundings as if sensing they might be pursued. Sasuke noticed how close Naruto and Amara seemed—how they walked side by side, their conversations filled with laughter and ease.
It irritated him to no end.

Sasuke's Opportunity
One afternoon, Sasuke's chance came. Naruto, likely sensing no immediate danger, left a shadow clone to stay with Amara while he went to handle something in the nearby forest. Sasuke smirked from his hiding place. This was his moment.
As Naruto's clone stood guard, Sasuke stepped out of the shadows. The clone immediately turned to him, its eyes narrowing in recognition. "Sasuke."
"Surrender Amara and come back to Konoha," Sasuke demanded.
The clone scoffed. "Still as delusional as ever. You know that's not happening."
Without wasting any more words, Sasuke activated his Sharingan. The clone lunged at him, but Sasuke was faster. In a swift series of movements, he slashed through the clone with his katana. The clone dispersed into smoke, its remnants swirling into the air.
Inside the house, Amara looked up sharply, sensing something was wrong. When she stepped outside, her eyes widened in shock as she saw Sasuke standing there.
"You," she hissed, backing away instinctively.
Sasuke's Sharingan spun as he locked eyes with her. "I'm sorry, but you're coming with me."
Amara tried to resist, but Sasuke's genjutsu took hold before she could do anything. Her eyelids grew heavy as the illusion overwhelmed her, and she collapsed into Sasuke's arms, unconscious.

Leaving a Message
Before leaving, Sasuke grabbed a piece of parchment and scribbled a note. He placed it on the ground where Naruto would find it.
"If you want her back, come to Konoha."
With Amara in his arms, Sasuke disappeared into the trees, moving swiftly and silently back toward Konoha.

Naruto's Return
When Naruto returned to the village, he immediately noticed something was wrong. The clone's absence and the faint remnants of Sasuke's chakra sent alarms blaring in his mind. He rushed to the spot where he had left Amara, only to find the note lying on the ground.
His fists clenched as he read the message, his knuckles turning white as fury burned in his chest. "Sasuke," he growled, his voice low and dangerous.
Blue eyes glowing with intensity, Naruto's mind raced. Sasuke had crossed a line—a line that would never be forgiven.
Naruto crumpled the note in his hand and turned toward the horizon, his resolve clear. "If he wants a fight, I'll give him one."
Far away, Sasuke was making his way back to Konoha, convinced his plan would work. What he didn't realize was that he had just ignited a firestorm—a storm that would bring Naruto Uzumaki back, but not as the village's savior.
Naruto was coming, and he wasn't coming to talk.
