Once again dear loyal readers, I have returned with a new chapter to reward you for your patience. My apologies if it may feel a bit short to you, but its better than no update at all, right? Rest assured I AM determined to get this story DONE and not leave it unfinished, like some other promising stories on this website. Which is a real shame as they're great works, however sometimes life outside the website is more important.
Also, again as I have said in all of my previous chapters, I'd like to apologize in advance if anyone in this story is out of character. I AM trying my best to get this right believe me. Also, I'm going to try to be fair and use the Japanese/English names for things like Devil Fruits etc.
(By the way…all flames and flamers will be ignored thank-you. I will make an exception for CONSTRUCTIVE reviews on what needs an adjustment or suggestions for other chapters/stories, for they are most welcome. Remember if you don't like my work then don't read or review it! NO-ONE is forcing you to! This advice applies to all other works on this website besides my own. We're all writing here to just be creative and share it with other creative people.)
Disclaimer: I sadly DON'T own anything from One Piece, not the people OR the places (except my OWN characters, places and so on) they all belong to Funimation, Toei Animation, Fuji TV, Shueisha, Shonen Jump Manga and that genius Odo Eiichiro.

PART NINETEEN:
There were times in PEW's life where he really wished he weren't so dammed honourable. If he weren't then HE could be keeping an eye on the Slickerman, rather than hang around watching Bellamy for Doflamingo. But as he prided himself on being a man of his word, PEW had to rely on his man Rudge watching the Slickerman, who had taken an interest in Blackbeard. PEW knew that if the Slickerman had something in mind regarding Blackbeard, he needed to know about it.
But for now, PEW had to sit in the 'Pub and Pie' bar and keep watching Bellamy. A task the Information Dealer WASN'T enjoying. He considered Bellamy to be a loud mouthed, grinning, overconfident idiot, as well as a lout and thug. To PEW Bellamy was the type of person who was a born 'follower' to stronger people. So he did everything in his power to get noticed by said strong people, to make himself feel 'better' and 'stronger' than everyone else. It would explain why the idiot was trying to constantly get the approval of his boss Doflamingo. He did that by mostly singing Doflamingo's praises and trying to follow his 'example' of ridiculing people's dreams due to the 'New Era.'
At the moment PEW was reluctantly listening to Bellamy boast on how he had 'beaten' Luffy and Zoro up earlier when they had been making enquires about the Sky Island.
"Being the Information Dealer of the Seas," Bellamy said to PEW cockily. "I know YOU at least helped those fools on their ridiculous quest."
"I could have told the Straw Hats what they wanted to know," PEW replied matter of factly. "But I thought it was best for them to hear the information in person from Mont Blac Cricket. He's the descendant of the famous explorer Mont Blac Noland, who lives on the far side of the island."
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Bellamy chuckled loudly at what he was hearing. "Mont Blanc Cricket is a descendant of the infamous Mont Blanc Noland? Ah, I heard that fairytale all the time when I was a kid," he went on nostalgically turning his attention to his First Mate 'Big Knife' Sarquiss. "But I never knew that it was THIS island of Jaya where he thought he saw the city of gold."
Sarquiss was a tall, muscular man with white skin. He had wavy, shoulder-length blue hair and wore a purple-tinted visor over his eyes. He also wore a white-furred coat over his bare chest in addition to golden chains that were either a necklace or a clasp. He had red-and-white striped gloves and pants with the same pattern alongside a gold belt. On Sarquiss' bare chest was a tattoo of Doflamingo's Jolly Roger: a smiley face with a cancel symbol through it. He also had the same symbol on his belt buckle.
"You know, when we were growing up in the North Blue," Sarquiss told his Captain. "We were always warned, that if we lied, we'd suffer the same fate as Noland. Ridiculed, until we'd be eventually put to death."
Hearing that statement caused Bellamy to burst into loud uproarious laughter, causing PEW to wince in pain as the noise went right through his head. "It makes perfect sense that Cricket's related to that fraud! But I can't believe that Jaya is the island from the fairy tale."
"Did it ever occur to you," PEW spoke up getting out his bottle of aspirins and tipping a few in his hand. "That if a descendant of Noland is here 400 years after what happened to him," he paused to swallow his aspirins with his drink. "He's probably trying to clear his ancestor's name, by finding the Sky Island and hopefully get back some respect to his family's reputation."
Hearing this caused Bellamy to laugh loudly making PEW wince again as his aspirins hadn't kicked in yet. "Oh, this story keeps getting better and better! Can Cricket seriously hope to wipe away 400 years of embarrassment by bringing back a few pieces of gold?! What a JOKE! "Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Sounds like he's a few bricks short of a wall!"
"You blithering idiot," PEW muttered darkly to himself as Bellamy kept on laughing at Cricket's ambition. "Probably never occurred to you that Cricket isn't interested in gold, but in proving his ancestor DID discover the place for real!"
"Hey PEW," Bellamy called to the hooded Information Dealer as he suddenly got up. "Come with us to my ship, I need your help for something."
"To do what?" PEW asked suspiciously getting up from his table to follow Bellamy and Sarquiss.
"To show us just where to find Mont Blac Cricket," Bellamy grinned evilly. "I want to check something out with him."
"Why do I NOT like the sound of this?" PEW said worriedly to himself.

A little while later PEW was on Bellamy's Pirate Ship sailing to the other side of Jaya Island, leaning on the railing wondering silently just WHAT Bellamy was up to. He was suddenly brought out of his thoughts by a ringing noise from his robes, reaching into them he got out his Baby Den-Den. "Yes hello?" he spoke into it. "Person Extremely Wanted speaking; how may I help you?"
'PEW,' the Den-Den responded in a posh sounding French-Caribbean accent, its eyes narrowing sharply. 'Mihawk here.'
"Ah!" PEW said smiling brightly. "Hawkeye Dracul Mihawk! What can I do for you?"
'A while ago I was prepared by some annoying bugs from the East Blue, a so called Pirate called 'Don Kreig'.'
"Oh yes I did hear about that," PEW chuckled. "The idiot tried to tackle the Grand Line and was will ill-prepared for it."
'He certainly was,' Mihawk said in agreement. 'Disturbing me while trying to take a nap was proof of that.'
"I'll bet it was," PEW laughed. "100 Pirate ships against you? No points for guessing how THAT ended!"
'I sank all BUT Krieg's ship,' Mihawk said admittedly. 'And I followed him and his crew back to the East Blue to kill off some time. They returned to the 'Baratie' floating restaurant and it was there I met an extraordinary fellow.'
"The former Pirate Hunter Roranoa Zoro, right?" PEW smiled. "I ran into him and he told me about his encounter with you."
'Somehow it doesn't surprise me you know about that," Mihawk replied evenly. 'But what did surprise me was just how determined this Roranoa Zoro was to defeat me. Even DESPITE the fact he knew he was outclassed. Then when he was beaten, he was STILL determined to get stronger to defeat me later on.'
"Yeah, that's Zoro alright," PEW nodded. "When he set's his mind on something he considers really important he'll do it no matter what."
'This is why I'm calling you,' Mihawk told him. 'I heard about what happened in Alabasta, despite the "cover story" the Marines released. I have to say I'm intrigued by this green haired swordsman; I'd like to know everything YOU know about him.'
"It would be my pleasure Mihawk," PEW said happily. "But I'm doing a job at the moment. If you like I can send you the information."
'No don't do that. I prefer if I heard the information off you in person. When you're finished your current job call me back, we can arrange a meeting then.'
"Good idea," PEW said in agreement. "I'll do that, talk to you soon."
'Farewell for now.'
Hanging up his Baby Den-Den and putting it away, PEW saw that it had gotten dark. He had also seen that Bellamy's ship had now reached the other side of Jaya Island and had arrived at Mont Blac Cricket's home. He could also see that Bellamy and his crew were going to ATTACK Cricket! For he could see the pirate's personal Jolly Roger flag raised, a pair of lips sticking its tongue out with a pair of crossbones behind it. "Oh no!" PEW said to himself in dismay before quickly using his Geppo to get to the shore as quickly as possible. He arrived just in time to find Bellamy, Sarquiss and their men confronting Mont Blanc Cricket himself.
Cricket was a muscular, middle-aged man with blond hair about 7' 11' tall. He had a large chestnut on his head which he presumably inherited from his ancestor Noland. He wore dark purple tracksuit pants with a white stripe running along each leg and a rope around his waist. As Cricket spent most of his time diving and salvaging things from the sea, he generally didn't wear a shirt or shoes. On his left arm, Cricket had a tattoo of a chestnut with the word 'Maroon' written across it with a traditional pirates crossbones behind it.
PEW could also see standing along either side of Cricket, were his two 'fans' followers and loyal proteges Masira and Shoujou. This strange trio made up the 'Saruyma Alliance,' also known as the "Monkey Mountain Alliance," with Cricket as their Captain in charge of it all.
'Salvage King' Masira was the Captain of the Masira Pirates, a human with ape-like features about 11' 4'' tall. He wore an orange-yellow jumpsuit, along with some headphones and goggles. What PEW always found interesting about Masira was that he apparently had a tail almost like a real ape. He also found his Jolly Roger flag interesting too, an ape's head with banana's rather than a skull and crossbones.
'Sonar King' Shoujou was the Captain of the Shoujou Pirates, a large man about 11' 6'' tall who looked like an orangutan with long green hair. He wore a black button up shirt that was too small for his body showing off his hairy torso, a green Captain's coat with his arms in the sleeves along with a green Captain's hat with his personal Jolly Roger on the front. That flag was more traditional than Masira's with an orangutan's skull and crossbones, but PEW wasn't one to complain. Each pirate had their own Jolly Roger flag which suited them best.
"Now, now little boy," Shoujou said warningly to Bellamy. "You don't really want to go and make us angry, do you?"
"It's not nice to suddenly show up in the middle of the night and demand gold from someone," Masira added with a grim chuckle before cracking his knuckles threateningly. "Now get lost! We've got a lot of work to do and not a lot of time to do it!"
"Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha! You two must be the bodyguards," Bellamy laughed mockingly to Shoujou and Masira. "So that must mean that the old man between you must be the ex-pirate named Cricket. I heard the sad story of the Mont Blanc Family back at the tavern," he said to the glaring Cricket who was staring back defiantly with his arms crossed. "It moved me to tears," Bellamy went on sarcastically.
"Your doing PEW?" Cricket asked the hooded Information Dealer.
"I'm sorry Cricket," PEW sighed regretfully. "But I AM the Information Dealer of the Seas and have to make a living like everyone else."
"Its fine PEW," Cricket nodded sagely. "I understand you're not part of this, just an observer."
"Which is also very moving," Bellamy said cutting in on their conversation. "But stealing another man's treasure moves me even more. I'm a pirate!" So saying Bellamy took off his Captain's Coat and tossed it aside. "Cricket!" he announced evilly. "Maybe you'd like to know what people call me before I take your whole life's work. The Hyena!"
"That's not what I call you, you loud mouthed, idiotic, grinning thug!" PEW muttered darkly to himself as he could see where this was all going.
"If you're looking for a fight," Shoujou said warningly to Bellamy and his crew. "You've come to the right place."
"You're going to regret mocking the Saruyma Alliance of me, Shoujou and Cricket!" Masira said threateningly.
"Get them!" Sarquiss ordered his men as they charged forward, while the grinning Bellamy and the frowning PEW just stood back to watch.
"Hand over the gold old man," Sarquiss ordered Cricket as he prepared to punch him. "Do it quickly and we might even let you live!"
However every time Sarquiss threw a punch at Cricket, the ex-pirate expertly managed to block every one of the oncoming blows with the palm of his hands. It was almost like watching a boxing teacher giving a lesson to his student.
"You forgot to say 'please,'" Cricket said sternly before kicking Sarquiss hard in the face sending him flying backwards and landing in a heap on the ground.
"A promising start," PEW said to himself in quiet approval at Cricket's fighting tactics.
"Alright," Sarquiss snarled angrily getting up spitting blood out of his mouth and drawing out his large sword. "That's IT old man!"
As this was happening Shoujou and Masira both managed to send the rest of Bellamy's men flying with a single combined "Monkey Punch!" attack from both of their fists.
Sarquiss meanwhile advanced again on Cricket, whirling his sword around in his hands like a huge razor blade. Cricket stood calmly poised and waiting for the right moment, like a marshal arts teacher with a reckless student. When Sarquiss attacked, Cricket KICKED Sarquiss' sword clean out of his hands!
"You know," Cricket said sternly to the astonished Sarquiss as his sword embedded itself in the ground behind him. "Its dangerous for a kid like you to be swinging around such a big knife."
"Looks like the boys might actually need a hand," Bellamy said thoughtfully to PEW. "I guess I better show them how it's done!"
Crouching down, Bellamy's legs suddenly turned themselves into coiled springs. Then giving a cry of "Spring Snipe!" he launched himself forward like a jack-in-the-box, where he hit the unsuspecting Masira right square in the back. As the wounded pirate fell roaring to the ground in pain, Bellamy grabbed at his shoulders, before launching himself at punching him in the face before he knew what was happening.
Cricket turned away from his fight with Sarquiss, just in time to see Bellamy launch himself towards him and he only JUST managed to dodge. However, Bellamy just hit the side of the Straw Hat's Ship 'The Going Merry,' which PEW hadn't noticed had been there, and ricocheted himself back at Cricket slamming him in the face. As this was happening, the front part of 'The Going Merry' snapped off from where Bellamy had bounced off it with his springed feet in his return attack on Cricket.
"So," Sarquiss laughed to the now defeated Cricket. "What do you think of our Captain's Spring-Spring Fruit Powers old man? I can see you're speechless!" he laughed.
"Clean up this trash-now!" Bellamy ordered his recovering men. "Be quick about it!" he added.
PEW's face became dark and sombre as he watched the injured Cricket, Shoujou and Masira get beaten up by Bellamy's men. The Information Dealer's mind drifting back to a time where HE had been in a similar position to Cricket and could do NOTHING to prevent it.
"So much for the 'Saruyma Alliance!'" Bellamy cackled as he gloated over the defeated trio. "Just an old man and two smelly apes! What a joke!"
"Hey Bellamy," a crewman called out to his Captain as he emerged from Cricket's home carrying a large wrapped up bundle. "We hit the jackpot," he said carefully putting the bundle down on the ground. Carefully unwrapping the bundle, a large golden statue of a Jaya Island 'South Bird' was revealed. The reason why it was called a 'South Bird,' was because it was famous for the way its head always pointed to the south, no matter what happened to it.
"Oh, I'll say," Bellamy said in awed amazement at what he was seeing. "That is a real fine piece of gold!"
"Not to mention these other bits and pieces too," Sarquiss added picking up a few other gold items which were also in the bundle. "Now it all belongs to us!"
"No way," Cricket said angrily slowly picking himself up despite his injuries. "You punks have no right to take that gold!"
"No right?" Sarquiss snorted furiously to Cricket before charging forward with his sword. "I'll show you what GIVES us the right!"
But before Sarquiss could land his attack PEW suddenly gave a cry of ""Soru!" The Information Dealer vanished, then Cricket, Shoujou and Masira suddenly staggered as a huge razor like cuts appeared on their fronts and backs. Bellamy and his crew looked on in amazement as the trio collapsed in front of them, blood pouring from their wounds.
"Just what the heck was that?!" Sarquiss exclaimed in disbelief at what he had just seen.
"Just a little trick I know," PEW said sombrely standing over the defeated trio.
"Well, well, well PEW!" Bellamy cackled at what he had witnessed. "You're just full of surprises, aren't you?"
"Indeed," PEW said casually as he started to walk off.
"Where are you going?"
"Back to the bar," PEW called over his shoulder. "I need a drink…also I find being in your presence…irksome. As well as UNPLESENT to be around!"
With a cry of "Geppo!" PEW took to the air leaving the baffled Bellamy Pirates with their defeated opponents behind.
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Poor PEW! As you read, he really HATES it when people are attacked and bullied, it reminds him of some unpleasant things that happened in his past. What those things are or were, WILL be revealed eventually in the future! He did REALLY want to help Mont Blanc Cricket and his friends against Bellamy, but he COULDN'T due to his obligation of the job Doflamingo gave him. The reason why he finished off the 'Saruyma Alliance' when he did, was because he didn't want to continue seeing Bellamy tormenting Cricket anymore by deliberately dragging things out. PEW might have to work with the likes of Bellamy and Doflamingo but he doesn't have to LIKE IT. He would prefer the likes of people like Mihawk any old day!
But as PEW saw 'The Going Merry' he knows that the Straw Hats still aren't far away, so he might get SOME satisfaction against Bellamy very soon. We'll find out in next chapter like always, so until then don't forget to read and review! Later!
One more thing, I remind you once again, if you don't like my work then don't read or review it! NO-ONE is forcing you to! Cheers!
