AN: Welcome to another iteration of 'insomnia/sleep deprivation results in me writing crack/weird shit'. This Fic plays a bit with the years things happened so All Might and All for One got injured much sooner (All Might's injury just weakening him slower for longer) and UA is a university so everyone is an of age adult here.
Price of Forgiveness
-Izuku-
Running a tired hand through his hair, Izuku opened his apartment door. Today had been mentally exhausting, what with Bakugo blowing up yet another quirk analysis journal, the 'swan dive off a roof' remark, and being chased by a sludge villain for a few blocks until he finally managed to lose it. Thankfully the sounds behind made it clear a Hero had caught up with the creepy gelatinous villain so he wouldn't have to worry about them following him home. Now though he just wanted to relax with no more drama for the day.
Given that when he walked inside he saw his Mom staring down at his father, who'd disappeared when he was a kid, currently kneeling on the floor begging for forgiveness beside a little girl with white hair, red eyes, and a horn…that wish wasn't gonna happen.
"Why is he here?" Izuku demanded, bitterness welling up in his voice, "What possible excuse could he have to show his face again?"
"He apparently had a good reason for disappearing for all these years." His mother sighed out, pinching the bridge of her nose while his father offered nothing in his own defense, simply continuing to press his face to the floor.
"A good reason?" Izuku scoffed, "What possible reason could justify-"
"Brain damage induced amnesia." His mother cut him off as Izuku blinked, processing that sentence.
"…Come again?" he wondered if he'd misheard her.
"Your father was apparently in an accident years ago that caused brain damage, resulting in amnesia." His mom waved a hand at the nervous looking little girl "He saved her from some thugs and her quirk, some sort of rewind ability, reversed the damage while he held her which brought his memories back."
"That…is actually really good, so far as excuses go." Izuku admitted, years of bitterness now warring with a surge of relief and joy that his dad hadn't run out on him for being quirkless.
"Hisashi, stop groveling and stand up." His mom apparently had enough of the man pressing his face into the floor, "Your son deserves more of an explanation about…well, everything."
His father got up at that, taking the little girl's hand reassuringly "Of course love." And Izuku could feel the genuineness of that statement, saw that his dad truly did love his mom, could see the genuine love for him and regret for what was missed.
"I…this is a long story Izuku, but I promise to tell you everything. Just promise me you'll hear the whole thing out before you make any decisions about me." Hisashi begged as Izuku sat down, wondering what exactly he was about to hear.
"To start with, I'm from the first generation of Quirk Users." Hisashi declared, a bombshell Izuku had been in NO way ready for, "And technically a villain."
"You're what?!" Izuku shot to his feet, eyes going wide in shock.
"Izuku, sit down and remember your promise." His mom commanded sternly as Izuku's head snapped toward her.
"How are you not freaking out?!" he tried not to hyperventilate at his father's admission.
"Oh, I already knew." His Mom waved it off as Izuku and his father wore matching incredulous expressions.
"Wait, you already knew?" Hisashi Midoriya clearly hadn't been ready for that revelation either.
"Dear, you can't hide anything from me." Inko rolled her eyes "And I've seen you at your best and worst. You saved me from those thugs at the bar the night we met so I've always felt safe around you. Plus, I've seen you cooing over kittens so I can't exactly find you scary." That last part seemed to take the most wind out of the apparently ancient villain's sails.
"I…okay." Hisashi slumped "But as I said, I'm technically a villain, or started as just technically. Originally everyone with quirks was deemed not human and rounded up to be experimented on or put down as some were using theirs to commit crimes so the government decided everyone with powers was a problem. I resisted this, used my Quirk to take and give abilities to build up favors."
"That was 'the Dark Age of quirks' right?" Izuku frowned, trying to remember his history lessons.
"Exactly." His father nodded "And the first 'heroes' were those willing to sell out to that government to become their attack dogs." Well, that explained why he remembered his father not liking hero talk as a kid "My brother was on their side because he was of the opinion was 'the law was the law' and that any law was automatically something right and to be followed on that technicality." What followed was the explanation of his father's growing 'empire', how he'd planned to take over the country to stop the anti-quirk laws, how Izuku's uncle had been given a quirk to fix their health only to instantly betray Izuku's dad and join the government's side. Generations of Hisashi Midoriya, then Shigaraki, having to deal with those who'd inherited that quirk coming after him to 'put down the great evil'. The most recent, All Might, having been the one to damage his father's brain to cause the amnesia.
"I forgot several things after that." Hisashi gripped his fist tightly "I didn't even remember I ever had a wife or a son…and now…" Izuku could see the genuine pained grief on the man's face at all the memories and milestones missed because of this.
"And…how does she come into play." He nodded to the little girl who'd dozed off, trying to distract his father as that expression made him feel uncomfortable, unsure how to even begin to help change it.
"I heard about a Yakuza group who were making drugs." His father continued "Both trigger and a new drug that could erase quirks." Izuku felt horrified and revolted at the mere thought of that, a sentiment his father clearly matched "I went there to destroy his operation and found they were making them by dissecting this little girl repeatedly, torturing her." Judging by his Mom's face that girl was now officially adopted, no take backs, Izuku had a little sister now.
"And the ones who did this?" Izuku's voice was colder than he could ever remember it being, unaware of just how much he looked like his father at that moment.
"I took their quirks and killed them." Hisashi stated "I was going to remove them to begin with, but once this little one restored my memory? Brought the both of you back into my life?" a hand gently pet the sleeping little girl's hair "Well, then it became personal." The conversation continued, Izuku asking different questions as he worked to decide how he was going to handle this revelation.
"Wait, if your quirk is so powerful then why am I quirkless?" his head shot up, confused at that inconsistency, his mom looking just as baffled.
"I took your quirk from you when you were an infant since I could see it would have badly affected your growth if it manifested too early." His dad explained "I can give it back if you'd like, and the quirk I took from the ones who were hurting little Eri. I'm sure you'd be able to make great use of a quirk to manipulate anything you know the composition of." His mind was racing, already able to think of a litany of ways to use a power like that as a hero.
"And his original quirk?" his mom pushed, seemingly satisfied at the reason why it was taken.
"A body enhancer that would essentially turn him into a super soldier." His father explained "But if it manifested when you were four like it would have otherwise you'd have grown stronger than your body could handle." His father reached out, placing a hand on Izuku's forehead as he felt something push into him. It was hard to put into words, the best explanation being that a hole he hadn't even been aware of was now filled.
"And…and if I still want to be a Hero?" Izuku looked up, planning to use this question to decide what to do with his dad.
"Just promise me to work on changing the corrupt system and try to stay safe. Do that and I'll not utter an ounce of complaint." Hisashi Midoriya promised as Izuku pulled his father into a tight hug.
"Welcome home Dad." He choked out, his mom joining the group hug.
-Hisashi Midoriya-
Frowning, Hisashi worked on buttoning up his pajama shirt. He was still adapting to having eyes again and it was throwing off his hand eye coordination a bit. "Here, let me help dear." His wife's gentle voice sounded from behind him as her hands reached around, doing the buttons up easily.
"Thank you, Inko." He smiled gently, still stunned beyond belief that she was so willing to take him back.
A sharp swat to his head came at those thoughts.
"None of that." Inko scolded him "You couldn't help losing your memories and you came home as soon as you got them back."
"I know." He relented on that, but he still felt guilty, and his wife could clearly tell.
"If you really want to earn forgiveness that badly then help me get some grandkids out of Izuku." Inko snorted as they climbed into bed together for the first time in years. Late into the night, well after his wife had fallen deep asleep, those words kept Hisashi up and thinking.
"…I can do that."
The next morning, while Inko was off with Izuku to get his 'late blooming quirk' registered and to get to know Eri better, Hisashi was off on his own errands. He'd told Inko and Izuku he'd be getting his own 'missing declared deceased' status overturned and while that was true it wasn't everything.
Renting out a temporary office for the day, he used a quirk he'd had for a while 'Dream walker'. He cast his mind out to enter the mind of someone who was asleep and talk to them in their dreams.
"…Gotta say, you're not the kind of guy I'd expect to see in my dreams." The one he'd used it on frowned in confusion as she looked around the white void like space.
"Well to be fair this both is and isn't a dream." He shrugged "I'm using a quirk to speak to you in your dream. I came to make a deal, Lady Nagant. Or would you prefer Kaina Tsutsumi?" he did his best to not sound threatening, he did want her to cooperate after all.
"Who are you?" she demanded, moving to make her arm into a gun before processing that people can't die in dreams.
"You most likely know me as All for One." He shrugged, figuring he'd tear off the bandage now.
"I'm not going to kill anyone for you, I won't become your monster too." She shot back instantly, not even waiting for him to discuss his offer.
"Well, then it's a good thing that wasn't what I planned to ask for." He grinned smugly, enjoying her surprise "No, I have something else I wish for you to do. In exchange I'll get you out of here and get your name cleared. With the Commission going down if all goes well."
"…What are you wanting?" the sniper heroine asked warily.
"I want you to marry my son." He declared with pride, "My wife wants grandkids and I'm doing what I can to help. He's eighteen but if you're worried about age I can age you down a bit." He was holding on to Eri's quirk whenever she wasn't training to help avoid any accidents and to help her feel more secure.
"Okay, now I know this isn't real." Lady Nagant snorted, "Sure dream person, whatever you say." At her agreement another quirk he had, but rarely used, activated to bind them to the agreement. The quirk, simply called 'contract' bound two parties to the terms of an agreement made between them. He typically avoiding it since it would bind him too but doing his part to earn forgiveness was more important than being uncomfortable.
"Excellent, then I'll be back to come get you from Tartarus once your name is cleared." Hisashi declared happily, clapping his hands as the dream faded away.
Back to himself, he put a check mark by a name on the list he'd made. Normally he'd only need one yes, but more yeses meant more grandkids to make Inko happy. And thanks to that Endeavor fellow's plans a few years ago that didn't go the way he'd wanted Polygamy was fully legal in Japan.
A bit over an hour later the next two names on his list, Mirko and Ryukyu showed up at the temporary office. He'd had to use a few favors to various information brokers and contacts to convince them to come but they'd thankfully come through.
"Hello ladies." He nodded to the two who'd hopefully be his daughters in law soon, "Thank you for coming."
"Your contact said you had information on a major crime group." Mirko didn't beat around the bush "But why not just go to the cops? And why call both of us?"
"Covering bases." He shrugged "And as for why you two and not the cops? Heroes have more authority thanks to public opinion giving them a stronger voice." Plus, he wasn't aware of any suitable women in the police force for his son, the cops being much less 'high profile' to get attention than the cape brigade.
"What's this crime group?" the dragoon heroine Ryukyu questioned, "Yakuza? Foreign groups like the Triad? A Villain organization or guild?"
"The Hero Commission." He put his proof on the table, "I did my research, and I know you two aren't corrupt." He'd been thorough in finding out which heroes were and weren't 'for sale'.
"Those bastards!" Mirko flipped through the documents quickly, seeing the proof of countless crimes including what they did to Nagant. Even if these two didn't agree to marry Izuku they'd at least take down the commission and get Nagant freed.
"We'll handle them." Ryukyu promised, "Assuming this is all legitimate."
"There's a police officer in the district near UA who has a lie detection quirk." He decided to throw that bone "He can assist on this. There is another matter I wished to bring up to you both, an offer."
"What offer?" Mirko questioned, expression flat.
"I can upgrade your quirks." Hisashi decided to be blunt, and it was true. Along with taking and giving quirks it also transferred quirk factor energy. He often took quirks that were completely useless or downright harmful to him and simply converted them into energy, energy that could be used to upgrade other quirks.
"U-upgrade?" the two looked more curious than he knew they'd like, but he'd also been careful when choosing these two. Ryukyu could turn into a dragon but had never once breathed fire or any other element that anyone had seen, and had deliberately evaded any questions from reporters on that front. Mirko on the other hand was always looking to grow stronger but her quirk wasn't one that could be 'pushed to evolve' like others could, the woman could only train more and more, eventually hitting a wall.
"Yes, my quirk allows me to upgrade the quirk factors of others." Hisashi nodded, giving a true answer that didn't say everything just in case they said no.
"And what do you want in exchange?" Mirko demanded but he could tell she wanted that boost, to finally have that impenetrable wall turned into a door she could train to open.
"My wife wants grandkids, so I'd like the two of you to marry my son." He smiled, not the least bit ashamed "He's eighteen but if the age gap is too much for you, then I know someone who can reverse your ages a bit." He had Contract primed and ready again.
"…How much of an upgrade are we talking?" Mirko grumbled out, not saying yes but also not saying no.
"I could make your Quirk Factors match All Might's." or what it had been when he'd fought the oaf, he had no idea what that quirk's power levels were like now.
"Deal!"
Yay, two more check marks on the list.
"You called this meeting, now talk." The Mercenary simply known as 'Nine' demanded through the apparatus helping slow their cellular decay, the other mercenaries from their outfit standing behind the leader ominously.
"Very well. Although to be blunt my request is primarily for miss Hasaki." He nodded to the red haired 'Slice'.
"Me?" the woman was surprised, as were her colleagues.
"Yes. You see my wife wants grandchildren and so I want you to marry my son." He spoke, deciding to keep going with his offer before they could simply storm out "In exchange I can give your leader Nine here a quirk to stop his cellular decay." That had all four mercenaries freeze in place.
"You're the Quirk thief." Nine realized, "The one whispered about since the dawn of quirks."
"Guilty." He shrugged, silently glad he'd used a disguise on his face for now as a precaution in case they said no "But I can easily give you a quirk that heals damage to cells. You'd still damage them by going overboard with the quirk but would be able to heal afterward with rest." The damned thing had been useless for healing his injuries from All Might and restoring his memories so getting rid of it also made him feel better.
"For Nine? Deal." Slice nodded as she stepped forward, Nine seeming surprised at the loyalty shown.
"Excellent." He nodded pleased "Also he's eighteen but if the age thing is an issue for you I can reverse your age a bit." As he spoke, Contract having already bound the group, he reached out and pushed the cellular regeneration quirk into Nine, making sure it merged with the man's existing quirk to avoid any further issues.
Only two more on the list!
"So, what brings you to Detnerat today?" Rikiya Yotsubashi, or Re-Destro, asked him as the large nosed man poured some tea. He'd arranged the meeting easily enough with a simple, although large, donation to the man's charities.
"I wish to make a deal with one of your Meta Liberation Leaders, the one you call Curious." Hisashi smiled as he sipped his tea, seeing the man freeze in shock at the bold revelation.
"I'm not sure what you-" Rikiya started warily, pausing as Hisashi waved off the pretenses.
"I'm fully aware that you're Re-Destro, the son of the first Destro." Hisashi happily finished the drink "And I have no intent on bringing that fact public. I'm wanting to deal in good faith here."
"…Karen, please send in Miss Kizuki." Rikiya spoke into a comm system after a moment, the blue skinned reported arriving a few minutes later.
"Ah, so this is the lovely Miss Curious." Hisashi smiled, letting the woman know he was fully aware of who they were. The woman looked shocked, sending a glance at Rikiya who gestured for her to sit.
"I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage, Mister…?" Curious looked his way.
"An old friend of the first Destro actually." He admitted, pulling a photo he'd dug out from his old belongings of him and Destro sharing a drink together in a bar "He and I both had issues with the Government's ideas of how to handle quirks. We disagreed at times on how to fix it but agreed on the issues themselves."
"How are you still alive?" Curious was stunned at the fact he looked the same in the photo as he did now, "Do you have an immortality quirk?"
"That's one of them, yes." He grinned as their eyes showed realization.
"The quirk thief." Destro was stunned.
"One in the same." Hisashi was smug, enjoying shocking people.
"What do you want from me then?" Curious inquisitive eyes narrowed as she studied him.
"My wife wants grandchildren, so I want you to marry my son." Hisashi gave his pitch again "In exchange I can not only provide information that would help for getting a leg up in government, I can cash in several favors people owe me to help the Government party you control in pushing new laws through."
"Done." Curious likely saw the trade off as a bargain.
"Excellent." He smiled, clapping his hands together "My boy is eighteen so if the age thing is an issue I have a quirk to de-age you a bit."
"Icing on the cake." Curious smiled wider as they agreed to the Contract, binding the three as he handed over the list of those who owed the favors and what to say to let them know it was Hisashi asking.
Getting to a secluded area with no prying eyes or Cameras, Hisashi focused. There were several quirks that existed, would even be seemingly strong, but were useless outside of incredibly unusual circumstances. His brother's quirk for example, the ability to pass on their quirk. It was an interesting ability that would have been useless without the stockpiler it had merged with.
Now he was using a necromantic quirk that allowed one to speak with the souls of the dead still in the world. Normally that would mean none at all, but he knew shards existed in the quirks he'd collected, so they'd exist in OFA as well. And with how the quirk worked the one he called forth wouldn't remember anything if he didn't want them to.
He'd know, he summoned his brother to try and talk sense into them only for it to end in an argument enough times to be sure.
"What do you want All for One?" Nana Shimura's ghost demanded, once they processed being summoned anyway.
"I want to make a deal with you." Hisashi was deadly serious, this was the last name on the list and one of the most important for him to get to say yes.
"A deal?" she scoffed "You murdered me and now you want to make a deal?"
"You came after and attacked me first." Hisashi deadpanned, "And before you say I killed your master, they attacked and tried to kill me first, as did their master, and so on."
"…What do you even want? I'm dead, I can't exactly do anything." Nana grumbled.
"I can bring you back to life." He shrugged, having other quirks he could use with the ghost summoning one to revive Nana again.
"YOU CAN WHAT?!" Nana shouted and he was silently glad only he could see and hear her or that might have drawn attention he didn't want.
"I can only do it to those who are in All for One or One for All, but yes." He dug a finger into his hear "Also, ow, loud."
"I'm not going to become your partner in villainy." Nana's shock turned into a scowl "So if that's all you wanted then you can go and sho-"
"I'm retired." Hisashi interrupted her, not bothering to hide the bitterness and rage in his voice.
"Retired?" Nana scoffed, "You?"
"After what your 'successor' cost me?" Hisashi spat, "Yes."
"What, sad that Toshinori hurt your empire?" Nana mocked.
"He cost me my family." Hisashi snapped back "His attack…I lost memories. I didn't just forget details about my wife and my son, I forgot I was ever married." His hands were trembling "I…he was only three when All Might came for me, and now he's eighteen. I missed seeing him grow up, I never got to be there when he got his first crush, never got to teach him how to shave, to help him with his homework, to play catch. I missed so much that I can never get back, but I can focus on my family from now on."
"I…" Nana was actually stunned at that, "I don't…"
"If I'd had my way, then I wouldn't have called you to make this deal." Hisashi stared her dead in the eye "But I don't trust that muscle brained oaf not to come after my family. So, I'm trying to use this deal to bring you into it, to hopefully at least give him pause long enough to be stopped if he tries doing anything to my wife and son."
"Wait, what do you mean bring into your family?!" Nana shrieked "You're married! I'M MARRIED!"
"You're dead so technically you're not married anymore." He didn't even bat an eye, and knew she'd been sentient in that quirk so she had time to come to terms with her husband's passing "And you wouldn't be marrying me, but my son."
"…" Nana looked flabbergasted.
"If you need more incentive though there is your grandson." Hisashi didn't even bat an eye as Nana threw a spectral punch that flew through his head "I'm not threatening him, I'm just saying he's an idiot and if you're alive again you can work on fixing things with him."
"How do you even know about my grandson? I gave up my son to hide him from you!" Nana glared.
"I knew the whole time but didn't bother going after him as I had no reason to. He got bitter though and became an abusive father." He saw no reason to sugarcoat things with her "Your grandson's quirk eventually triggered, a disintegration one, and when it went rampant your son's response was to try and kill the son that he'd abused with a fire poker. I took him when he was left on the streets. I'd planned to raise him into someone who would destroy the hero system from within and replace it with a system that isn't controlled by the Commission. Instead, he's become an Anarchist."
"…I fucking hate that I can tell you're being honest." Nana grumbled.
"Yes, a useful quirk I picked up where if I'm telling the truth then everyone who hears it is fully convinced of my honesty beyond a shadow of a doubt." He was smug "Do we have a deal?"
-Izuku-
"Trust me Eri, you'll love Mom's Katsudon." Izuku promised his new little sister as they walked home after a long day of tests and paperwork. Eri had latched onto them, having clearly been touched starved before having her quirk taken away for safety.
"Is it as yummy as apples?" Eri asked from where she sat on his shoulders.
"Yummier." Izuku promised as Eri gasped, stunned at anything being yummier than an apple. Following his mom as she opened the door to their apartment, Izuku sat stunned as he saw his father sitting with six very pretty women at the dining room table.
"Dear…who are they?" His mom demanded, apparently not recognizing any of them.
"You said you wanted grandchildren from Izuku, so I decided to help!" his dad declared proudly "Son, meet your new wives!"
Oh look, he was fainting.
-Bakugo-
Strutting through the UA gate for the entrance exam, Bakugo almost didn't notice the Nerd out of the corner of his eye, almost. Still took a bit to convince himself it was actually the quirkless loser who'd dropped out of Aldera all those months ago. The loser had to have taken steroids to get that ripped.
"Nerd!" he barked, hands popping with little explosions "I thought I told you not try out for UA." The green-haired teenager turned toward him, expression flat as Bakugo saw that they weren't afraid anymore.
"And I should listen to you, why?" Deku deadpanned, shocking Bakugo by the nerd not cowering back into their place. Before he could tear the wimp a new one their phone rang, "Hold on, this is more important than you." Deku pulled out the phone and answered it "Hello?" the nerd's face quickly lit up at whoever it was on the other end.
"Yeah, you caught me just before I went in for the test." Deku spoke to whoever had bothered calling him "Yeah, I'll be sure to kick ass for you honey, love you. I'll call once the test is over."
"Who the fuck was that Deku?" Bakugo barked, head swimming at the sheer bafflement of a confident Izuku Midoriya.
"The Mrs." Deku flashed a hand that had a wedding ring as Bakugo was left rooted in place at that revelation. He barely managed to reboot in time to run in and get his seat for the test.
-Izuku-
Humming to himself, Izuku played with his pencil as he waited for the proctor to come out and explain the practical exam.
"Hello everyone!" he apparently didn't have to wait long as the principal appeared on a podium "Am I a Mouse? Am I a bear? I'm the UA principal!" the others assembled didn't seem to be able to make sense of what was going on.
"Albino Stoat!" Izuku called out, having grown more confident over the months of having his father back, having a quirk, and having six powerful and confident wives.
"I like you! You'll get bonus points for that!" Nezu didn't even miss a beat as Izuku grinned wider, "But for now we have to begin discussing the practical exam. It used to be a simple melee smash fest against a bunch of robots to see who could break the most or save the most of their fellow test takers." And didn't that sound incredibly inefficient "At the demand of the Hero Commission. But since everyone there got arrested, I can make whatever test I want!" there it was.
"You'll each be called one by one to be interviewed by either myself, one of my staff, or one of Ectoplasm's clones." Nezu declared, gesturing to the staff line up which was mostly identical floating Ectoplasms "Afterwards the best from today will be put forward with the best from the best from the other test days for a final selection which may result in further interviews." Meaning the staff could more directly find out what the students could do and act like, making sure hidden gems didn't fall through the cracks.
"So, take the number on your desk and head to the room matching to it to wait for your interview." A tired looking man who he was pretty sure was the Erasure Hero Eraserhead declared as Izuku checked his and set out.
-Bakugo-
Swagging through the door, irritated at not having gotten to go first, Bakugo observed the one interviewing him. A massive hairy mother fucker he recognized as Hound Dog.
"Ah, Katsuki Bakugo, correct?" the man looked up from the application on their desk.
"Damn straight!" Bakugo barked, victorious grin "Next number one!" he knew he was the shit, so why bother acting otherwise.
"I see."
-Nezu-
Smiling, Nezu watched the applicant he'd just talked to, one Neito Monoma, depart before the next one entered. If his cameras were right, then this is the one who answered his question back in the hall.
"Hello, Izuku Midoriya?" he observed the large green haired applicant as they entered, the teenager looking excited.
"Yes, and you're the Chimera Hero Nezu." Ah, an excitable Hero Fan.
"That I am!" he grinned, deciding not to tease the young man, he wasn't Midnight after all "Now, what could you bring to the table as a Hero?" a simple question to get the ball rolling."
"Well, aside from my quirk I've trained with multiple pros, and I do quirk analysis." The young man reached into a bag at his side "Some of my wives suggested I bring them in case there was an interview portion."
"Wives?" Nezu blinked in surprise, the student still being eighteen.
"…Mom really wanted grandchildren, and Dad was apparently good at convincing people to agree." The young man admitted with a blush before handing over several journals. Not expecting too much, Nezu began flipping through them, his eyes widening further with each page.
Oh…oh this was going to be interesting.
-Aizawa-
"I'm here!" All might burst into the staff room as everyone else was taking their seats "Did I miss the interviews?!"
"Yes, you giant oaf!" Aizawa gave the muscle brained imbecile a glare "The last one ended twenty minutes ago."
"…Sorry…there was a lot of crime to stop on my commute today…"
"Regardless, we should discuss who to push forward for the next round of eliminations." Nezu piped up "I have one I'd like to push forward for full confirmation."
"Full confirmation?" Midnight looked surprised, "You mean there's someone who impressed enough for that besides miss Yaoyorozu and mister Todoroki?"
"Yes, a young man named Izuku Midoriya." Nezu grinned "Not only is his quirk incredibly powerful but his mind is what makes me want to push for him to be fully accepted. He brought in some quirk analysis journals he did that looked to be on professional level."
Aizawa opened his mouth at that only for Nezu to continue "And before you ask Eraserhead, I had him do new analyses for me to make sure it was his work. I can confirm it's genuine." Aizawa lowered his protest.
"What's the kid's quirk?" Kan grunted, trying not to sound too interested even if Aizawa knew the man was planning ahead to 'the rivalry' already.
"He has a matter manipulation quirk." Nezu explained "Much like how Miss Yaoyorozu can create anything she knows the atomic or chemical composition of, he can manipulate anything he touches with his skin so long as he meets that same stipulation. His body is also enhanced, possibly as a side effect or from him deliberately boosting his own body through that first quirk."
"Hmm, sounds delicious." Midnight licked her lips.
"Down Midnight, he's already married." Nezu seemed amused at the woman pouting.
"Midoriya, Midoriya, Midoriya." All Might muttered aloud as he rapidly flipped through the day's applicants, falling out of their chair and clutching their chest once they came across it.
"All Might!" Recovery Girl looked panicked at that reaction.
"Why does he look like a green haired version of the villain who injured me?!" All Might's shout rattled the windows.
"Really All Might, you're being paranoid." Nezu rolled their eyes "There's only so many combinations of facial features in the world. What are the odds that they're actually related."
-Izuku-
"I'm home!" Izuku called out, grinning as he entered the house he lived in now with his wives, his parents and Eri living next door.
"Hey there." Nana grinned, kissing him as he entered, "How'd it go?"
AN: A little less crack than planned at times but here you go! Might add further one shots in a series for this later but that's a solid maybe, depends on future muse and how interested y'all are. But for now, my sleep deprived muse has been sated.
