Naruto arrived at the Valley of the End, his heart pounding as he laid eyes on Sasuke standing resolutely on the other side. The statues of Hashirama and Madara loomed behind him, casting long shadows across the ground. Sasuke's expression was one of fierce determination, his newly awakened power radiating ominously from him.
"This is where it ends, Naruto," Sasuke declared, his voice cold and unyielding. "I'm going to eliminate you, and then I'll take over the five nations. They've caused enough pain and suffering. I'll put an end to it all."
Naruto felt a pang of sadness wash over him as he stood there, recalling their childhood together, the bonds they had forged, and the countless battles they had fought side by side. But he also understood that the boy he once knew was gone. The darkness that had consumed Sasuke had twisted his mind, driving him toward a path of destruction that Naruto could no longer follow.
"This isn't the way, Sasuke!" Naruto shouted, his voice echoing through the valley. "We can still find a way to bring peace without resorting to violence and domination! Think of everyone we've fought for!"
But Sasuke shook his head, his expression hardening. "You don't understand! The world is flawed. It needs someone strong to reshape it. You're in my way, and I won't hesitate to take you down."
Naruto's heart sank as he realized the truth—there was no saving Sasuke anymore. The bond they once shared had been severed, and now, the only path left was one of confrontation. Sasuke had chosen his path, and Naruto had to protect everything he cared about.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto steadied himself. "If it's a fight you want, then I won't hold back. I'll do what I must to protect the villages and the people I love."
As the tension in the air thickened, both shinobi prepared for the inevitable clash. Naruto could feel the power of his Rinnesharingan surging within him, the very essence of space at his command. He understood that this battle wouldn't just determine their fates—it would shape the future of the shinobi world.
"Let's end this, Sasuke," Naruto said, resolve solidifying in his heart. "For everyone's sake."
With that, both fighters lunged at each other, their chakra flaring brightly as the Valley of the End became the battleground for their final confrontation. The air crackled with anticipation as they clashed, the fate of the five nations hanging in the balance.
As Naruto and Sasuke clashed, their attacks met with a powerful shockwave, sending ripples through the air. Sasuke gritted his teeth, his Sharingan flaring to life as he observed Naruto's Rinnesharingan, its light blue hue reminiscent. Similar to Pain's Rinngean when he fought him.
"What happened to you?" Sasuke asked, his voice edged with confusion and anger. "Where did you get that power? Is this some kind of joke?"
Naruto stood firm, a determined look in his eyes. "I awakened it when I was fighting Madara. It's called the Rinnesharingan," he replied, regret creeping into his voice. "I wish things were different, Sasuke. I wish we could have fought alongside each other instead of against each other. But you've chosen a path that puts you in league with the enemy."
Sasuke's expression hardened. "I'm no enemy, Naruto. I'm taking control. The world needs someone who's willing to get rid of the weak and impose order." He activated his Susanoo, the spectral armor forming around him, its terrifying presence magnifying his power. "I won't let you stop me."
"I'm sorry for what's about to come," Naruto said, his voice steady despite the turmoil in his heart. "But I can't let you hurt anyone else. You've lost sight of who you are."
As Sasuke unleashed his full-form Susanoo, a colossal figure cloaked in a dark, ethereal armor rose behind him, radiating power and menace. The Susanoo's eyes glowed a fierce red, and the air crackled with energy as Sasuke declared, "Now, how do you like my power, Naruto? You think you can still stand against me?"
But Naruto remained unfazed, a determined glint in his eye. "I've already seen this power before, Sasuke," he responded calmly, gathering chakra as he summoned his own Susanoo, infused with the essence of Kurama. A massive figure, bright and fierce, emerged behind him, shimmering with golden energy, adorned with the fox's distinctive features. "And I'm not backing down!"
The two titanic forms clashed, their powers reverberating through the valley. Naruto's Kurama Susanoo surged forward to block Sasuke's attack, creating a shockwave that shook the very ground beneath them.
Sasuke's Susanoo swung its sword, aiming for Naruto with lethal precision. "You think you can compare your power to mine? I've become stronger than anyone ever imagined!" he shouted, rage and desperation coursing through him.
"Strength isn't everything, Sasuke!" Naruto countered, his voice steady amidst the chaos. "Power without purpose only leads to destruction!" He pushed back against Sasuke's assault, countering with a powerful blow of his own. "I won't let you take that path!"
Naruto's Kurama Susanoo roared to life, its chakra-infused fists colliding with Sasuke's sword, causing a massive explosion that illuminated the valley. The force sent debris flying and sent both shinobi staggering back.
Sasuke gritted his teeth, glaring at Naruto with a mixture of frustration and determination. "You think you can lecture me about purpose? You're just another obstacle in my way!"
Sasuke's Susanoo unleashed a barrage of fire, summoning serpentine dragons of flame that roared through the air, their eyes blazing with destruction as they arced toward Naruto. "Burn, Naruto!" Sasuke shouted, his voice echoing with fury.
But Naruto remained steadfast, channeling the chakra around him. "Not today!" he declared, summoning his own elemental response. The water from the nearby ocean surged up, forming massive water dragons that coiled and twisted in the air, crashing toward Sasuke's flames. "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!"
The two opposing forces collided with a thunderous crash, the sound reverberating throughout the valley. The flames and water intertwined, creating steam that obscured the battlefield, momentarily veiling both shinobi from view.
In the midst of the chaos, Naruto focused, his mind racing as he gathered chakra for his next move. "I won't let you win, Sasuke!" he called out. Channeling the energy, he summoned the Rasen Shuriken, its swirling mass of wind and chakra glowing with an ominous light. He infused it with his newfound powers from the Rinnesharingan, twisting space to create a distortion around it.
"Kamui!" Naruto shouted, activating the technique to enhance his attack. The Rasen Shuriken shimmered with a blue hue, warping the air around it as he hurled it forward with all his might, aiming for Sasuke's Susanoo. The jutsu tore through the battlefield, slicing through the dense mist and steam with blinding speed.
Sasuke, sensing the danger, quickly maneuvered his Susanoo to create a defensive shield. "You think that's enough to break through my defenses?" he taunted, preparing to counter.
But as the Rasen Shuriken approached, Naruto bent the space around it, altering its trajectory. "This is where it ends, Sasuke!" he shouted, watching as the jutsu veered around Sasuke's defenses, its path seemingly impossible.
With a deafening impact, the Rasen Shuriken struck the Susanoo, creating a brilliant explosion that lit up the valley. Sasuke braced himself, feeling the force of Naruto's attack shake his Susanoo. The fire dragons were swallowed by the resulting explosion, their flames extinguished in the onslaught of water and wind.
Sasuke's Susanoo staggered, the protective armor cracking under the sheer force of the attack. "No!" he roared, gritting his teeth as he struggled to maintain control. "I won't be defeated!"
As Sasuke called upon Kirin, dark clouds began to gather ominously overhead, crackling with energy. A massive thunder dragon descended from the sky, streaking toward Naruto's Kurama Susanoo with terrifying speed. "You think you can dodge this?" Sasuke sneered, watching the dragon bolt toward its target, intent on striking him down.
But Naruto was ready. He focused on his Rinnesharingan, the power coursing through him amplifying his senses. "I won't let you control this battle!" he shouted, utilizing his spatial manipulation. In a swift motion, he warped the space around him, allowing the Kirin to pass harmlessly through him as he flickered out of existence for a brief moment.
The dragon struck the ground with a deafening explosion, sending debris and smoke spiraling into the air. As the smoke billowed, Sasuke smirked, thinking he had landed a critical blow. But as it cleared, he froze in shock.
Naruto was standing right in front of him, his blade shimmering with a blue aura, piercing through the remnants of Sasuke's Susanoo. "I'm not done yet!" Naruto declared, his voice fierce and unwavering.
Summoning all his chakra, Naruto harnessed the energy of his Rinnesharingan. He drew upon the vast reserves of power and began to form the Planetary Tailed Beast Bomb. The swirling mass of chakra manifested above him, glowing with immense energy. "This is for everyone who believes in peace!"
With a mighty roar, Naruto thrust the bomb forward. "Planetary Tailed Beast Bomb!" The jutsu rocketed toward Sasuke's Susanoo, its massive form crackling with raw energy, a fierce gale swirling around it as it descended with the weight of the world behind it.
Sasuke's eyes widened in realization. "No! I won't let you!" he shouted, channeling his chakra into his Susanoo in a desperate attempt to fortify his defenses. He raised the Susanoo's arms, trying to shield himself from the impending attack. "I have to end this!"
The Planetary Tailed Beast Bomb struck with cataclysmic force, exploding against Sasuke's Susanoo. The shockwave rippled through the valley, sending plumes of dust and debris soaring into the air, the ground trembling beneath their feet.
As the smoke and dust began to settle, Sasuke's Susanoo shattered, the protective armor crumbling like glass under the weight of Naruto's overwhelming power. Sasuke staggered back, visibly weakened and breathing heavily, his eyes narrowing in disbelief.
Naruto released the energy of his Kurama Susanoo, allowing it to dissipate into the air as he landed firmly in front of Sasuke, his resolve clear. The ground trembled beneath him, but he stood tall, a fierce determination shining in his eyes. "Sasuke," he began, his tone steady but laced with urgency, "this can end here. Just give up. Let yourself be held accountable for your actions. You can still make things right."
Sasuke narrowed his eyes, a mix of anger and defiance flashing across his face. "You think I'm going to just roll over and accept punishment? I've come too far for that!" he retorted, his voice sharp. "The world needs to change, and I won't let anyone, not even you, stand in my way!"
Sasuke gathered energy into his hand, his Chidori crackling with electricity as he lunged forward, ready to pierce through Naruto's defenses. However, as he thrust forward, an invisible barrier surged around Naruto, blocking the attack with ease. Confusion flickered across Sasuke's face, momentarily breaking his concentration.
Naruto seized the opportunity, drawing back two fingers and calling out, "Enhancement Red!" A powerful surge of energy erupted from his fingertips, striking Sasuke and sending him hurtling backward. He landed hard on the ground, a grimace of pain crossing his face as he struggled to regain his footing.
As Naruto approached, the air around him seemed to shimmer with power. "You think you can win this?" he said, his voice steady and firm. "You're not going to beat me like this, Sasuke. No matter how much you push yourself, you're still weak."
Sasuke gritted his teeth, anger flaring up within him. "Weak? You think you can just walk up to me and say that? I've fought for everything I have! You don't know what I've sacrificed!" He clenched his fists, channeling his remaining energy into his Sharingan, readying himself for another attack.
Naruto's voice rang out, filled with righteous anger as he confronted Sasuke. "What sacrifice? You don't know anything about real strength! You're just a coward hiding behind your powers, thinking that vengeance will make you whole!" His eyes blazed with determination as he harnessed the energy from his Rinnesharingan.
With a fierce focus, Naruto summoned a swirling blue orb of space, its vibrant energy crackling in his palms. "Wind Technique: Elapse Blue!" he shouted, releasing the technique with immense force. The orb expanded, creating a powerful vortex that drew Sasuke in, pulling him helplessly toward its center.
Sasuke tried to fight against the pull, his eyes widening in realization, but it was too late. The vortex slammed him against the rocky wall of the valley with a bone-jarring impact, stunning him momentarily. Naruto wasted no time, charging forward and unleashing a barrage of punches.
"Is this what you wanted?" Naruto shouted as he landed blow after blow, his fists fueled by the fury of his words. "To become a monster, all for the sake of revenge? You're nothing but a shadow of your brother! You think you can stand against me? You're pathetic!"
Sasuke's laughter echoed ominously through the valley, a chilling sound that cut through the tension. "Who are you calling a monster, Naruto?" he taunted, his eyes glinting with malice. "They call you the Demon Flash, feared for your mastery of speed like your father. But they call you a demon for what you are—a weapon, a tool of the village. And look at you now, fighting to protect a world that despises you!"
Naruto clenched his fists, anger boiling within him. "At least my name has meaning!" he shot back, launching forward with renewed vigor. "I'm not known as a cold-blooded monster like you! I fight for my friends, for those who can't fight for themselves! You've chosen a path of darkness, and now you think you can use it to justify your actions?"
With blinding speed, Naruto closed the distance between them, delivering a powerful kick to Sasuke's midsection. The impact knocked the wind out of him, causing him to stumble back. "You think you're strong just because you can summon these powers?" Naruto continued, his fists flying in a flurry of attacks. "Strength doesn't come from fear or hatred! It comes from bonds, from the people you care about!"
Sasuke grunted with each blow, struggling to regain his footing. "Bonds? They're a weakness, Naruto! You've relied on them, and look where that's gotten you! You're still just a pawn in this game, too blind to see the bigger picture!"
Naruto's resolve only deepened. "And you're too consumed by your rage to realize you're throwing away everything you once cared about! You've become the very thing you hated! If you think becoming a monster is the answer, you're wrong! You're just a shell of who you could be!"
As Sasuke lunged forward, fists clenched in determination, Naruto swiftly sidestepped the punch. In one fluid motion, he caught Sasuke by the wrist, tightening his grip to the point where the bone felt like it might snap. With a quick twist, he broke Sasuke's hold, sending a surge of pain coursing through him.
"You think you can just throw a punch and get away with it?" Naruto growled, his eyes blazing with intensity. He followed up with a powerful kick, propelling Sasuke toward the wall with bone-crunching force.
Naruto's resolve hardened as he glared at Sasuke, his voice unwavering. "You think you know what it means to fight? To survive? I had to claw my way through every obstacle to gain the bonds I have now!"
With that, he charged forward, delivering a swift punch to Sasuke's face. The impact sent Sasuke staggering back, but Naruto didn't relent. "You had everything!" he shouted, each word punctuated by another strike. "You had people who supported you! Friends who acknowledged you!"
Sasuke wiped blood from the corner of his mouth, eyes narrowing in defiance. "You don't understand anything!" he yelled, anger mixing with frustration.
But Naruto pressed on, fists blazing with determination. "No, you don't get it! I fought for every friend I have! I fought to make sure they wouldn't end up like me!" He paused, his expression fierce yet pained. "So don't you dare tell me you know what sacrifice is! You've always had someone to lean on while I stood alone, fighting my own battles!"
As Sasuke regained his footing, a storm brewed in his eyes. "I've sacrificed everything for power!" he spat back, determination igniting within him. But Naruto wasn't finished.
Naruto closed the distance between them in an instant, grabbing Sasuke by his arm and yanking him off the floor. With a swift motion, he twisted Sasuke's arm, the sharp crack of bone echoing in the air as he broke his other hand. Sasuke gritted his teeth, fighting back the pain and anger.
"Talking big about sacrifice for power, huh?" Naruto seethed, eyes blazing with intensity. "Your clan is only known for copying jutsu! When have you ever put in the effort to actually learn anything yourself? To make something of your own?"
Naruto's fist connected with Sasuke's face again, sending him reeling backward, barely keeping himself upright. "Your clan was wiped out because they couldn't understand peace!" he continued, voice rising. "All that power, and they still failed to see that! They relied on their abilities, their jutsu, but they didn't care about the bonds that matter! That's why the Uchiha ended up in ruins!"
Sasuke's eyes flared with rage as he invoked Amaterasu, the black flames erupting around him like a dark halo. "You think you can just stand there and ignore the power of my clan?" he yelled, directing the searing flames toward Naruto. But as the flames approached, they suddenly halted against an invisible barrier of space that Naruto had conjured around himself.
Unfazed, Naruto stared at Sasuke with a mixture of disappointment and determination. "Your clan is a joke, Sasuke," he said, his voice steady despite the chaos around them. "You had the chance to rewrite the story of the Uchiha, to break the cycle of hatred, but instead, you've followed Madara's path. Just like him, you only seek destruction!"
Sasuke clenched his fists, a flicker of doubt momentarily crossing his face. "I won't let you talk down to me!" he shouted, his voice rising in desperation. With a surge of chakra, he summoned his Chidori, the blue lightning crackling with intensity. He lunged forward, aiming a powerful strike at Naruto.
"Shut up and die!" Sasuke screamed, but Naruto was ready. He sidestepped the attack, dodging Sasuke's punch effortlessly.
Naruto countered with a swift motion, landing a solid punch to Sasuke's gut. "No, you should shut up and die, Sasuke!" he retorted, putting all his strength into the blow. The impact sent Sasuke staggering back, winded and momentarily stunned.
Sasuke smirked, his confidence unwavering even as Naruto gathered energy. "You don't have the guts to kill me, do you? You're all talk and no action. You've gained all this power, yet you're still too weak to use it for what needs to be done. You're just like the rest of them, unwilling to make the hard choices!"
Naruto's eyes narrowed, his grip tightening as he summoned the orbs of Enhancement Red and Spiraling Sun. The bright orange sphere crackled with energy, pulsating at his fingertips like a star ready to explode. "I'm sorry for what's about to come, Sasuke," he said, his voice steady but laced with an undercurrent of sorrow. He snapped his fingers, and the orb shot forward, hurtling toward Sasuke with blinding speed.
Sasuke's eyes widened, a fleeting moment of surprise washing over him. "No!" he shouted, hastily activating his Susanoo to shield himself. The towering ethereal warrior formed around him, its armor gleaming as it braced for impact. But as the orange orb collided with the Susanoo, a shockwave rippled through the air, causing the ground beneath them to tremble violently.
The explosion erupted in a blinding flash, the force of the blast radiating outward like the sun itself. Dust and debris filled the air, and for a moment, the valley was engulfed in chaos.
As the dust settled and the echoes of their battle faded, Naruto staggered back, his breath heavy in the still air. He caught sight of Sasuke's lifeless body slumped against the wall of the mountain. Half of it was torn away, a grim reminder of the intensity of their clash. The vibrant light in Naruto's eyes dimmed, a heavy weight pressing down on his heart.
He took hesitant steps closer, dread pooling in his stomach as he knelt beside his once-close friend. The sight of Sasuke's cold, still form was more painful than any wound he had ever suffered. Tears brimmed in Naruto's eyes as he placed a trembling hand over Sasuke's face, trying to reconcile the fierce warrior he had just fought with the boy he once considered a brother.
"I hoped… I hoped you would find peace," Naruto choked out, his voice breaking. "I hoped you could rest alongside your clan. I wanted to help you revive the Uchiha name, to build something better than what was before. I wanted to be your friend, Sasuke."
He paused, the weight of his words hanging in the air like an unfulfilled promise. He thought of all the times they had fought side by side, the bonds they had forged amidst the chaos of their lives. It was hard to believe that this was the end—an end that felt more like a tragedy than a victory.
As he looked down at Sasuke, the reality of the situation hit him like a punch to the gut. "The Uchiha clan is no more," he murmured, wiping away a tear that slipped down his cheek. "You let your pain consume you… and now you're gone."
Standing up, Naruto took one last look at his friend, the pain of loss overwhelming him. He felt the silence of the valley around him, the weight of the battle that had just transpired hanging heavily in the air.
As Naruto began to walk away from the grim scene, he suddenly heard the voices of Utakata and Chojuro calling out to him. Turning, he was shocked to see them approaching, their expressions a mixture of concern and disbelief.
"Naruto!" Utakata shouted, his tone urgent. "We tried to find you! You just left without telling us what the concern is!"
But before he could finish, Utakata's gaze fell on Sasuke's lifeless body slumped against the wall. The shock washed over his features, and he took a step back, unable to comprehend the reality before him. "Yo.. What the hell?."
Chojuro followed Utakata's gaze, his eyes widening as he saw the aftermath of the battle. "What happened here?" he asked, looking back at Naruto, who stood rigid, his expression unreadable.
Naruto's heart felt heavy, a mix of sorrow and relief coursing through him. "The stubborn Uchiha shithead is dead," he replied flatly, the weight of his words settling heavily in the air. "We don't have to worry about him anymore."
Chojuro exchanged a glance with Utakata, sensing the gravity of the situation. "But… what led to this? Why did you have to fight him?"
Naruto clenched his fists, the pain of loss etched across his features. "He chose this path. He allied himself with the enemy, and I couldn't let that stand. He made his choices," he said, his voice tinged with frustration. "I had to end it."
The heaviness of his tone made it clear that this was not a victory worth celebrating. Without waiting for a response, he walked toward Sasuke's body, kneeling beside it. "We need to bring him back," he said quietly, a mix of determination and sorrow in his voice. "Let's go home."
Utakata and Chojuro exchanged a look, sensing the weight of Naruto's words. They stepped forward, carefully lifting Sasuke's body. As they did, the reality of the situation settled heavily upon them. They were not just carrying the weight of a fallen comrade; they were bearing the burden of a tragic end to a once-promising bond.
As they made their way back, the sun dipped lower on the horizon, casting a somber glow over the valley. Naruto walked ahead, the pain of loss fueling his resolve. He would return to the Hidden Mist, but he would do so with a heavy heart, carrying the memories of what could have been—a friend lost to darkness.
As Naruto, Utakata, Chojuro, and the rest of the Hidden Mist forces returned home, the atmosphere shifted from tension to jubilation. Villagers poured into the streets, cheering and celebrating their heroes' return from the war. The sight of familiar faces and the warmth of their cheers momentarily lifted the heaviness in Naruto's heart.
Chojuro turned to Naruto, concern etched on his face. "Are you going to be okay?" he asked, his voice low, aware of the emotional toll the battle had taken on his friend.
Naruto managed a smile, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Yeah," he replied, trying to project confidence despite the weight of loss he carried. "I'll be fine."
With a nod, he gestured toward the Anbu stationed nearby. "Let's place Sasuke's body in a secure unit. We need to ensure he's not a threat anymore. Tsunade and Mei will want to see this as soon as they return."
As they approached the Anbu, Naruto felt a mixture of sadness and determination. The cheers of the villagers echoed around him, a stark contrast to the grim duty ahead. The Anbu, trained for situations like this, swiftly assisted in preparing Sasuke's body for transport.
"Make sure to inform Tsunade and Mei immediately," Naruto instructed the squad leader, his voice firm. "They need to confirm that Sasuke won't be coming back."
The Anbu nodded in acknowledgment, moving with efficiency as they secured Sasuke's lifeless form, wrapping it in a cloth to protect it from the elements.
Utakata placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder, grounding him. "You did what you had to do, Naruto. No one else could have faced him like that," he said softly.
"Yeah, but it still doesn't feel right," Naruto murmured, his gaze distant. "He could have been saved… if only he'd chosen differently."
Chojuro chimed in, trying to lighten the mood. "You can't save everyone, Naruto. Just like you can't carry the weight of the world alone."
Naruto nodded, appreciating the support of his friends. "I know. I'll keep moving forward. For Haku, for everyone."
